The Hotel Sport Olimpo offers a basic and simple pace to stay. It is friendly and welcoming and you are left to get on and enjoy your time in Garda. It Offers an all night reception which is not the case with every Hortel in the area. The Hotel is clean if a little dated in decor and appearance but it does offer a fair amount of facilities, a large open air pool, Tennis Courts which you have to book and pay for separately. There is also a golf course some where but in the immediate vacinety of the hotel. The bar also offers service to the pool and sometimes they host some live local music. Breakfast in restaurant is between 7.30 and 9.30 and it is a buffey, its vast and you will not go hungry, but it does cater more for their German guests rather than Brits. This is not surprising due to the proximety to the border. Dinner has to be pre booked and the options are a little basic, but why would you with Gards 5 mins away go out and explare the hundreds of restaurants and bars after all you are in Italy. A small draw back, even though you can get from the bus station to the Hotel in 12 minutes walking, it is situated up the hill, but once you know where it is, there is a gate (which for some reason you are not told about) half way up which offers steps into the hotel core past the dedicated apartments but it does miss all the less than desirable walk on the road around corners without a footpath. So you are not exactly on the lake and you are more likely to get a view of the hills rather than Lake, but in reality I used the hotel simple as a base, and for that its great. In short would I stay here again? Yes I absolutely would.

My husband and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Hotel Garden in Garda, which was our first time visiting Italy. The hotel is ideally situated close to the bus station and ferry port (only a few minutes walk) which makes travelling on days out easy and stress free. The hotel is set back from the main road through Garda, so you have the required privacy when using the pool and tennis court facilities. That said, the constant road noise can still be heard if you are sitting outside, and we found that it increased significantly on a Saturday and Sunday with what appeared to be hundreds of people riding round on motorbikes all day and evening! Once inside though, you cannot hear the road noise if you keep your doors and windows closed, so you can get a good night's sleep. We were not lucky enough to get one of the more spacious rooms at the front of the hotel with a view of the lake, but were allocated a small room at the back of the hotel above the kitchen/service area, so we were on occasions woken up very early with lots of moving/banging around, as well as deliveries and rubbish pick ups. I was, however, delighted to find that our room had a dressing table and mirror (ladies..these touches do make a difference don't they) as well as an easy to use safe and a mini fridge. However, I would have liked some tea and coffee making facilities to have been made available in our room, but there were none. They do not provide an iron and ironing board as standard, but did manage to find both for us to use. The room, as well as everywhere else in the hotel, is exceptionally clean, however, our bathroom was very compact and it was like trying to wash in a small phone box when using the wholly inadequate shower cubicle. My husband is 6' 5", so it was no easy task! The water temperature is also very hit and miss, but you soon get used to it! We opted for half board, so enjoyed a wonderful four course meal in the restaurant every evening, which suited us very well....you choose what you'd like for dinner when you go down for breakfast in the morning. The food is excellent and the serving staff are so friendly and extremely efficient. Our special thanks goes out to Michele and Pia, and all the other restaurant staff, who were always very kind and attentive and made our dining experience very enjoyable. The hotel is only a short walk from the lake, where you will find lots of restaurants and bars, as well as some lovely shops dotted along the cute little lanes leading up to the lake. We spent many an afternoon having lazy lunches by the lake, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the idyllic views. We found a fantastic bar a couple of minutes walk from the hotel called Cam & Gato, which is small, atmospheric and great fun, which we visited a few times once we'd finished our evening meal. They have live music most evenings. They have a piano in the bar, so my husband even took a turn on it one evening, and was rewarded with a free pint for his effo

What a fantastic Hotel and great staff. We came across this Hotel by luck. After being very disappointed by another hotel and decided to leave we were looking for a place to stay. As soon as we walked into this Hotel the staff couldn't be more helpful. We were showed 2 rooms that we took straight away. One of our rooms was moved the second day to a room with a huge terrace . We stayed 4 nights. Rooms were lovely. Hotel perfect location. At the end of the strip so not to noisy. Everything is walking distance, many bars and restaurants. One thing we were looking at , that was with other hotel, was a swimming pool. La Vittoria does not have a pool. No need though as 5 minutes walk you'll find a nice clean beach with beds to rent. Ferry boats 5mn walk give you access to the rest of the lake. Free parking is provided situated 10ms from Hotel by foot. When we come back to lake Garda we will definitely come back to la Vittoria. Thank you all for providing us a fantastic stay

We stayed here for 11 nights and it’s well located in sight of the lake and near lots of restaurants and bars. The hotel looks smart from the outside (we noticed it when we were in Garda two years ago) and it is exceptionally clean from reception to the rooms. The owner, Francesco, and his son and daughter seem to work all day, every day and are always available. The room wasn’t huge but well laid out with space to move, a really big wardrobe and a nice balcony from which you can see the lake. The bathroom was decent with a sink the size of a small swimming pool! Breakfast was always fresh and similar to other Italian hotels, no faults and quickly refilled if anything ran out. As we drove down we welcomed the free parking as Garda is always busy and parking is a challenge. The car park is around a 750m walk away and underground. This should be a 4 and 1/2 star review, the only issue for us, which may not bother others, is the lack of shutters as the curtains aren’t ‘black out’. Will happily stay here again on our next visit to Garda!

Location right next to the lake was fabulous. Everything else was unfortunately not! The beds were so uncomfortable and hard that we woke up everyday with a numb side from lying down. We also had to ask for more pillows as they were flat like pancakes. The room was also extremely basic. There was no one ever at reception so you had to walk all the way down to the restaurant to walk back up again. Also there was no lift up to our room so we had to walk up about 45 stairs carrying a heavy case. The breakfast was ok and the lady serving breakfast was very attentive. The cleaner took the card from our key one day so we could not use the air con or lights. We had to go and hunt for it in the hotel. Parking was a nightmare. We rang the reception to ask where the car park was and he told us we had to go to the hotel first to get the card. This meant we had to pay to park elsewhere to check in and then go and move the car again. The man was extremely unhelpful and we felt like we were asking too many questions because he hadn’t told us anything. Definitely not worth the money!!

The hotel has beautiful rooms with excellent beds. All the staff was helpful and kind at any time during our 5 days stay. While the hotel is not in the hot spot of Venice, it is easy to walk to San Marco and all the other attractions. We had a week-ticket for the Vaporetti (water bus) which makes it even more easy to reach any point of the city (stations are very close to the hotel. For breakfast there are some compromises due to Covid, but still high level of quality.

This is a strange hotel. We had a lake view room with a little balcony. The room was small, shower super small. The room also smelled a bit wet. On the other hand, the view was perfect and the balcony a big plus. We could sit outside in the evening while our child was sleeping and listen to the bands playing on a near by plaza and of course watch people walking on the beach promenade. The windows don’t let any noise inside. The hotel staff doesn’t smile. They seem to be on a very bad mood. The hotel is full on rools and they even give you a paper when you come, with some rools in it. The cleaning lady was very nice and helpfull. The breakfast is very basic, but it’s enough. Some fruits, bread etc. Staff doesn’t want to help with the coffee maker. It is hard to use. Big plus is that you can take your tray and eat outside by the lake! Common spaces in the hotel are full of stuff. Messy feeling about everything. If you don’t mind the common spaces and the staff, choose this hotel for the breakfast by the lake!

On our arrival, we were treated with warmth and friendliness and this continued throughout our stay. The owners and staff were so kind and helpful. The location was perfect and it was lovely to enjoy breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake. The rooms were clean and spacious with everything you could need - even towels for the pool in a neat little bag. There was nothing you could find fault with - it was perfect and we were sad to leave. I have already recommended it to my friends. Thank you Patricia and staff for making our stay so memorable.

We have just returned from our second excellent week's stay at the beautiful Regina Adelaide Hotel alongside the lake in the centre of Garda. We booked directly with the Hotel taking advantage of a special offer that included a discounted price for stays of 7 days or more and free transfers from Verona Airport to the Hotel and return to the Airport at the end of the stay. We booked a junior suite room on the third floor of the original building with a large balcony facing the lake. The bedroom and bathroom were both large and nicely furnished with air conditioning, fridge, mini bar, and TV. An excellent free wifi service is provided throughout the hotel and grounds. We again stayed on a half board basis with dinner served in the main restaurant every night and breakfast taken on the outside garden terrace in the morning. We very much enjoyed all the food and drinks served. The facilities available to guests were excellent, including extensive gardens, a large well maintained outdoor swimming pool, and a pool bar serving lunch, drinks and snacks. The sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool and heated indoor swimming pool services are currently closed for safety reasons, in compliance with the Government Covid directives but the Beauty Centre offering various treatments is open normally. Excellent social distancing measures are in place in the dining room and pool areas. The hotel has a separate patisserie shop located in one of its outbuildings. We again found all the staff exceptionally efficient, friendly and helpful throughout our latest stay. The gardens are lovely and the open air terrace to the cocktail bar a great place to relax of an evening. Entertainment was provided on one night of our stay in the lounge in the form of a jazz band. Various other concerts are provided by the Local Council in and around the nearby main square. The Hotel could not be better located only a short walk from the bus station, the ferry pier, the lakeside promenade and the shopping streets. Our second stay at the hotel was another really excellent and relaxing experience and we would recommend it highly and hope to return again.

La Perla provides a clean and comfortable base for a holiday in Garda. location is excellent, being about 1 min from the bus station and just a little longer to the old town and water front. Rooks are a little on the small side but are perfectly adequate and clean and comfortable. There is a fantastic pool area and a garden with sun loungers if you fancy a day off from sight seeing. Food in the restaurant is of a good standard and there is a choice which should suit all tastes.A nice touch is that it is proper table service rather than the buffet which seem to be popular in most tourist hotels these days. Staff are friendly and helpful and most speak a reasonable amount of English and German. Prices for drinks are not too bad when compared to establishments in the town and are served with nibbles. The hotel is very well run and is spotlessly clean everywhere. Clientele were mostly of a more mature age group and entertainment was suited to that demographic although I note that the hotel markets itself as a cycling holiday destination so maybe it gets younger people as well. I would recommend this hotel for a stay at Lake Garda.

We visited Garda last week and was there for 1 week. The restaurant at the Hotel Conca D’Ora was excellent with great food and wine choices. Special mention to Giorgio who was exceptional and went above and beyond. We visited the restaurant multiple times for a mix of Lunch and Evening meals with beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommended and the Hotel has been refurbished which I would definitely stay at if we returned.

Stayed here for 10 nights from the moment we arrived we were welcomed, offered a glass of prosecco by the pool whilst our bags were taken to our room. Room was well appointed bathroom had rainfall shower and jacuzzi bath. Had a basket full of white fluffy robes, slips and toiletries. Room has a small fridge we did put our drinks in here. The bed was so comfy with a pillow menu. Our room 216 looked over the pool and the road which we loved as we could watch the Italian drivers. No road noise due to the double glazed doors. Hotel is really clean and all staff friendly and helpful. Pool staff incredibly attentive. Complementary snacks are offered each day by the pool from 4.30pm We ate at the restaurant in the evening you know it’s good when the locals are there. We had lunch from the snack menu really good portions. Breakfast offers a really good selection of vegan and gluten free options. Would definitely stay here again

The hotel is in an excellent location with stunning views. Hotel is spotlessly clean. A few little things that would make it an amazing stay. 1. Great if the hotel supplied a room for people with late departure after 5pm to get changed in. 2. iron or ironing service. 3. Wifi needs updating lots of blank spots around the pool area. 4. Taxi is €70+ from airport hotel if the hotel arranged transfer it would be 100% worth the cost of the stay. We would 100% stay here again. Thanks you Sky Pool Hotel for a fabulous holiday!
