1.97km from La Mer Fish TavernWe stayed for a week during the Christmas break and have very much mixed feelings. - The staff was friendly and helpful from reception, housekeeping, restaurant. - Location is good, walking distance to the beach and plenty of restaurants around the area. A nice small shop opposite meets some of your needs, and about 30 minutes to the marina - Good water pressure in the bathroom. What not so nice, - Breakfast is a bit boring, simple and low quality. Couldn't eat a nice fresh bread on any of the days - Booked a double bed, got a twin bed. I had to push it together every 5 minutes to able to stay close to my girlfriend - Room is a bit dated but it was ok. Our fridge didn't work when we arrived. I reported it on the day of arrival and it was fixed / replaced the next day. But no minibar... although that didn't really bother me, but it was strange to have the check list on the table to mark what we took from it... - No safe in the room. No kettle. But the biggest disappointment was the door! It is paper thin and you can hear everything. A couple of time we had a feeling that someone is talking in our room. Indoor Jacuzzi in the basement is a big let down. Poor quality, outdated and not mentioned anywhere on booking.com or lastminute.com that it is only for a certain fee. Outdoor jacuzzi we didn't see it working, but it mentioned somewhere that only works for a very short time. We chose this hotel particularly for the option to have a chance for a hot tub during the colder winter days so this was very disappointing. Especially as on the wettest day it was closed (it is always closed on Sunday). The chewing gum stuck on the clothes hanger was the top. Clearly shows that no one cleans this place properly. Overall, it was ok, but not for the price we paid. We could certainly find a better, nicer one.
