My partner and I booked this hotel for our short holiday to Paris. We arrived and from our walk to the hotel from the metro station what we saw was dirty and not inviting at all. There was rubbish all over the streets. We arrived at the hotel and had one hour to wait until check in which was fine. I went to use the toilet in the breakfast area, I nearly had to straddle the toilet to get in, there was no toilet paper, no soap and no towel which is not up to even basic standards. What we saw of the breakfast area was dirty and it was dark and small. The area to eat breakfast was again small (about 3 tables for everyone). We were told when booking that there would be somewhere to securely put our luggage before check in and after check out. The secure location was in the corner of the communal seating area (also the 3 tables of the breakfast seating area) so anyone could access our luggage and take from our bags. Although we were not very comfortable with this and did not feel welcomed by the external environment we decided to go get baguettes and eat them in the local park. We walked through the park which had security guards throughout and again felt very unwelcome as we were being watched. We walked through the park and decided to sit in the children’s play area as this felt the safest for us to eat. When we sat down we could smell someone smoking weed the other side of the fence. The security guard then asked us to leave the child’s area as it is not for people without children. Which did not help the situation. For anyone on holiday this environment was not nice particularly in the winter months where it is dark much of the time. We left the park and told the hotel we did not want to stay at the hotel and had booked another. We had to book one hotel for that night and another one for the next 3. We had to spend much of our holiday running around Paris with suitcases. We were told by the receptionist that the manager would be back in an hour who could deal with our complaint and give a refund. I was told to email with a list of my issues and return to discuss with the manager. I did so but advised we would not be returning to waste any more of our trip and time. I received a response the next day stating that the external environment was not their responsibility and ignoring all of my previous issues identified and that was that. I immediately replied explaining all of the above and I have sent a follow up email as I am yet to receive a response to my email over a week ago!!! Do not visit this hotel. Everything was so awful we refused to even see the room and we have now spent over £400 in hotels and the £230 we paid is being refused to be refunded even though we have not used ANY of the services or products or even seen our room!

We stay in Paris a couple of times a year and usually base ourselves in the Marais, but thought a night in the romantic Montmarte area would be a nice change. This place offers outstanding value for Paris, with a bigger-than-average room (really generous for Paris), a good shower (though there was a smell of damp in the bathroom), courteous reception staff, and even free coffee and pastries - a really nice touch. I was particularly impressed at how well soundproofed the room was (no noise from the street outside), though we were awoken by hotel cleaning staff quite early on Sunday morning. Location is great for Sacre Couer and Montmatre, and is well-located for the metro on a very 'lived-in' attractive street. Note the hotel is probably not ideal for persons with mobility issues as the surrounding area is quite hilly.

Hôtel Montmartre was amazing and I'm so glad I chose this hotel for my 2-night stay in Paris. The location was wonderful, only a 12 minute walk (or 10 min metro ride) from Paris Gare du Nord, and right on the outskirts of Montmartre--one of the most beautiful areas of the city. The property was easy to locate and the area felt safe and clean. The reception staff were very nice, and my room was available before the check-in time. They really made sure the property was safeguarded too, as you needed two codes to get through to the room bit of the hotel, and then a keycard to get into your actual room. The room itself was great! Not overly large, but definitely enough space for me--especially because the bathroom was spacious and clean and so nice! And they had a full kitchen in the room too! A stove, pots and pans, cutlery, a sink, microwave, fridge and much more! It was fantastic, really really wonderful to be able to cook and store food. For the size of the room they really packed in every amenity you could want. The room was warm and toasty and the shower pressure was great. Everything was clean and nice and I'm so glad I stayed here. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

5 nights in this hostel can be described as a place to sleep, no more. If you want amenities at the highest level, I think it's worth looking for another place. I chose a room for 6 people with bunk beds, staggering and creaking, I thought that it would fall apart while I climbed to 2 tiers. There are no drawers where you can leave the bag, everything is on everyone on the floor, on a chair, etc. If you are not there anyone can take your things, you should rely only on the decency of guests like you. I was lucky, everyone was very considerate and no one climbed into other people's things. Why does it cost a sink, but in fact it is not needed there, as it seemed to me. There was a door with slots, but each one had his own blanket, so it was normal. To wash or go to the toilet you need to leave the room, go a short distance along the internal micro-courtyard and you are in the restroom, a strange system to be honest ... They monitor the cleanliness, but ... all sorts of people and a couple of times had to run into trouble in the toilet, but it is rather a claim to visitors and their respect for others. The shower room is also micro, straight from the word micro, if you bend over the soap while showering, then you will 100% run into the wall with the boot, as men washed the mystery for me, because I did not fit there at all. The kitchen is normal, there is a refrigerator and everything necessary for cooking, but you can’t count on tea or coffee, it is not there. Laundry is 5 euros, things are washed and dried, but mine remained wet and dried for another day (In general, the hostel is not bad, but it’s worth a bunch of things to redo it to become top-end. But for Paris ... I think it’s worth the money besides, you go there not to sit in the room, but to walk, but next time I will choose a completely different hostel for myself as an individual traveler.

It has a 24-hour reception and Gare du Nord Train Station is 1.2 km from the hotel. The guest rooms are colourfully decorated and some of the rooms include a flat-screen TV. A desk is provided in all rooms. Some have a private bathroom fitted with a shower, while others have a shared bathroom. The hotel is 1.3 km from Sacré-Coeur Basilica and 1.6 km from Gare de l'Est Train Station. 1. very far from station. 2. your will think you are in Africa or India but not in Paris. 3. Very dangerous area, you can see many gangsters on the street. 4. The bar downstairs is extremely noisy, it is impossible to sleep until 1 am. 5. Room is huge, but layout quite strange.

The Hotel Eden Montmartre was a very nice hotel to stay in. The rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. I especially liked the shower in this hotel. There was very good pressure of the water which made for a very comfortable and clean shower. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood in the Montmartre district of Paris which is my personal favorite area to stay in Paris. I like the character of the neighborhood and the fact that there is more restriction on urban development in this district. I get a stronger sense of a romanticized image of Paris and am able to walk in some nice neighborhoods and get a good feel of the French culture in this charming area of Montmartre. One is in close proximity to many nice things. The hotel is a two (2) minute walk from the Jules Joffrin metro station which gives one fine access to all other areas of Paris. All in all my stay was very good but I have one minor criticism; this involves the décor of the room in which the rooms could use a little more decoration; this does not involve anything essential by any means but it would be nice to see more paintings on the walls. There was a little bit of plainness in the interior design of the room. A trivial concern but it would be nice to give the interiors a little more charm and character; a little more pizzazz. Everything else was very good.

I booked this after reading all these good reviews here but unfortunately nothing was true. Overall horrible experience. The staff at checkin desk took forever, the rude lady messed up my credit card, kept charging again and again. Finally after 20 minutes gave me a room but when I went there, there was already someones luggage in the room. When I went back to reception they were totally confused staff this whole drama continued made me shuffle between rooms and further 15 minutes later I got a room but the rude reception lady was shouting at me. I mean what the hell I paid a good 150 euros for one night you are not giving me charity! Instead of apologizing for all this mess up they were shouting at me, probably a very Parisian attitude! Further to this the neighbourhood is so shady, you can see all sorts of gangsters walking around in groups doing all sorts of weird things. I did not feel safe walking to the hotel even. Coming to the room, the hotel is made in a very old worn out building, the paint was torn, carpet was burnt, no AC, dont let the pictures fool you. The TV has no international channels. Overall when I pay 150 euros a night the least I expect is respect from the staff and I was not even given that. Please avoid at all cost, go and stay at a hostel I bet that would be much better than this piece of crap!

A Quality hotel, with professional staff. A Spacious room, really good bed, and completely silence at night! Breakfast was good and morning staff’s service was considering and fast. I would gladly recommend this hotel for business trips/leisure trips in Paris, although it is situated bit far from centre, connections to the hotel are easy both from Gare du Nord and Chatlet.

We were 2 couples a staying at Odalys for 3 nights . Positives : Excellent location just behind Sacre coeur Cathedral which is one of the highest points in Paris . Timing was prefect as our stay coincided with Montmarte wine festival which was amazing and fun filled event over 3-4 days Lot of cafés to explore within the walking distance of the hotel which gives a great vibe to the hotel Metro station can be easily accessed within 5 mts of walking distance down the road Rooms were spacious with fully equipped stoves and necessary equipment to prepare quick meal. ( studio apartments ) Areas of Pigalle can be easily accessed from Montmarte Only drawback is getting the uber during evenings as the entry points get blocked and it’s a wait unless one walks down to main road

We just finished up staying here for 6 days and could not be happier. The room was exactly as we expected, smaller than some but it was a decent size and not cramped, best of all it was very clean! The staff in the hotel are so lovely, very friendly and willing to help. The location of the hotel is fantastic- there is a bakery around the corner and is very close to the metro, shops and is easily accessible. We couldn’t be more delighted, we will definitely be back! :)

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and clean, new, and the public order is good. The hotel lobby is a glass sliding door. You need to swipe your room card to enter. The room was flat with 2 large boxes without pressure. The toilets are also very large. There are 2 sets of L'Occitane in a house, and a large bottle of mineral water is given away. Walk to the LV main store for 2 minutes, and make early purchase without pressure. It only takes 2 minutes to the Hermes George Avenue branch, and Bulgari is also nearby. If you want to buy luxury goods, you can put it back in the hotel before you continue. Do n’t worry about safety. 7-8 minutes walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. The only bad thing is that the front desk called me at 10 o'clock in the morning on the day of check-out. This is a bad experience ... The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport. The hotel said the price was basically the same. The cafeteria and gym are located in B1. There is a Royal Treasure in the hotel, not sure if it is the same as Shanghai.

Such a great experience to be here. Easy to get to from the train station. Actually all subways in Paris are easy to navigate. The hotel is really close to everything, Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triumph. And lots of Brasseries. Markets, bakeries and coffee shops. A safe neighbourhood. The room was great. Very comfortable beds. A breakfast is only $10EU each daily, far more cost effective than buying outside the hotel. Save your money for lunch or dinner. Lovely staff, so very friendly and helpful. This is a family owned and managed hotel. We'll go back here for sure.

There had been mix up over the dates of my booking, which was entirely my fault. The receptionist could not have been more helpful to resolve the situation. Although my booking had been fully pre-paid and was not in theory refundable, he could not have have been more helpful. I was very impressed; the room was fine as was the bathroom, although the facilities were a little basic. There is a funny lift which starts just above the first floor and goes almost to the top floor - which does not make luggage transfers too easy. However, as I have already stated service at the reception was second to none. Breakfast was included in the double room rate (large) of €129.00, which is a real bargain for a hotel in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. We enjoyed our stay here for a week - located just off the Jardin des Tuilleries.

Very close to the Arc de Triomphe and a ten minute walk. . When I checked in, an old man at the front desk asked me to add money to see the Arc de Triomphe, saying that my room type could not be seen. . But I obviously saw a lot of other netizens see my room type. . After emailing Ctrip's complaint, Ctrip immediately contacted the hotel and changed the 5th floor for me the next day. . The Arc de Triomphe can be seen from the window. . I have been satisfied with Ctrip after sales. . A very cute hotel. We were in the bottom room, with windows that opened to the street. It was a little loud first thing in the morning or when other guest were rowdy due to being located right next to the lobby, but overall that was only the most minor of things we noticed. The bathroom was fantastic- heat towel rack, quality products, wonderful hot water/high pressure. Lots of closet/storage space. Seperate WC. the room was larger than we expected as well. Front desk was so friendly- greeted us each time we arrived, and were able to provide us ice on request (I tore my acl just before the trip, so needed ice regularly after a day of touring). I loved the writing desk in the morning sun- although the view was of the sidewalk, the transparent curtains we perfect for allowing in light while softening the view. The windows both had shutters inside to block out light/sound, and enough still space you could sit and read a book. Location was ideal...the Montmartre area is wonderful. Very close to the Blanche metro line, a short walk to two others. Although just two blocks from Moulin Rouge, absolutely no issues with noise or crazy crowds at night- in fact, it meant some great street food places were open late! Very near to bakeries, fruit stands cheesemonger, easy to grab something quick if you needed. Several cafes a stone throw away with perfect breakfasts and coffee. Near to Van Gough's apartment. A beautiful stroll to the love wall, sacred heart, dali museum and artist square- and thays with me being hobbled with my completely torn ACL! There is a secret food tour that starts and ends in the same area as the hotel to give you an idea of how wonderful all the nearby choices are for eating. 12/10 stay, would definitely stay at this location again. Beautiful location, beautiful service, beautiful city.

Lovely and clean hotel conveniently located just below Montmartre. The staff is very nice and helpful and managed to resolve all questions I might have had. The decor is quite nice, it has a cozy feeling. The breakfast is quite lovely, nice selection of french goodies, so definitely a plus. The only downside is reflected in the location: if you go to central Paris, you often go small for this price. So a single room gets the fun part of not being able to properly unpack my small hand luggage and the elevator is definitely designed for slender crowd. Would recommend and would stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway station. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, take the RER line B to Denfert-Rochereau, change line 6 to Cambrinne, exit the station and walk past the traffic lights. The road on the left can see the Ibis hotel sign. There is no elevator or escalator on this section of the subway line 6 of Denfert-Rochereau. You have to carry your luggage up and down. Do not take Line 6 when returning. From the hotel, take a taxi to Denfert-Rochereau (approximately 7 minutes, 19 euros, 20 yuan). Denfert-Rochereau has an elevator to the airport RER line, so you do n’t have to carry your luggage up and down Off! Taxi in Paris is expensive, if the locals are at the airport-hotel, take a taxi to and from it * o * Next to the subway station there is a bakery and a small shop selling Kebab (Kebab, Middle Eastern food), which are all delicious! The Ibis conditions are quite good, but the surrounding environment is too bad. When we heated the food at the front desk, because of the large amount of luggage, we managed poorly. Then we checked that the cash was gone. But the two of us were too stupid, and thanked each other. Later, the people around me should be the thief... Then we contacted the hotel right away, the hotel expressed anger, but we finally had no right to monitor even the monitoring, who did not know who to take How to get it, can't recover it.
