Perhaps a little fried bacon to accompany the egg might be nice. Comfortable bedroom maybe softer pillows if possible. Some rooms have balconies and I recommend this sort of room. Bathroom well equipped with supplies and a suitable shower. A free safe in bedroom and the use of a kettle for hot drinks. Hotel is situated in a beautiful avenue with a bus stop and beautiful church next door. Very close to the beach and center of Biarritz. We will be back.

|1.07km from city centerGorgeous, sumptuous hotel! We spent 10 fab nights here and even in bad weather we could sit in the most fabulous hotel bar and read and relax. Beds are good and the design of the place is just a feast for the eyes! It is a little way out of the main town - about 1km but there is a free bus every half hour N11 although it ends at 7.30pm. We never found any problem getting a taxi back up later in the evening. Loved the pool area and the attendants brought lovely lunches and cocktails on request. We are twice in the restaurant which was exceptional and the one breakfast we had was extensive and lovely too! All of the staff were focused on giving great customer service! Just lovely really and would definitely return.

Our superior double room had a great terrace and was very comfortable. The staff, especially Alexia at the front desk, is helpful and welcoming, with wonderful restaurant recommendations. Loved our stay and would definitely return.

The restaurant is great - we ate there for two of the five evenings we stayed at the hotel, and the meals were fabulous (the best Kouign Amman on the planet - must be a Breton chef!) The location is perfect for the beach and the old town. However, although the standard of cleanliness was excellent, the hotel rooms need a bit of TLC - very small bathrooms with no space to hang towels up properly, slightly shabby and in need of attention in some areas (broken washing line in ours), and the rooms were very small. There is only one small lift and it's very slow, so we used the stairs a lot - but the staircase obviously isn't considered a priority in terms of comfort - the carpets are very old and shabby, there was spare furniture piled up on the first floor, and it smelled a little musty. So overall, although we liked the hotel and would stay here again based on the staff, the restaurant and the location, I would say it's over-priced in terms of the rooms and bathrooms.

The hotel is very well located near the city centre, beach, ******, shops, bus .... I recommend taking the imperative parking in biarritz. The apartment is spacious, very well equipped, clean, only a small bemol a shower would be pleasant in the place or in addition to the bathroom and a nespresso would be expected in a prestigious residence. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable.

Nothing is too much trouble, everything is done with a smile, the hotel is stunning, perfectly located, unbelievably peaceful, excellent value and the perfect escape from the real world. As someone who has travelled to more than 100 countries and stayed in every level of hotel (including bomb damaged shells in Liberia!), this is truly one of the best I've ever stated. Can't recommend this lovely place enough.

|1.75km from city centerWe arrived Hotel Le Biarritz in the middle of the night, desperate to get a room for the night for 2 adults and 3 kids, due to our originally booked apartment hotel next door gave us cardkeys that were not activated upon arrival. The reception was closed and the telephone number in case of ”emergency” was turned off after midnight. We were warmly welcomed by a very nice man, unfortunately I do not remember his name. We got 2 rooms with a very good discount and the 3rd room for free. The children were hungry, so we asked if we could buy some snacks. He offered us pancakes. He went to the kitchen and came out with a trey full of pancakes, yoghurts, and 3 different sorts of cakes and water. He also asked if we wanted breakfast in the morning, but we were not sure we would make it in time, so he told us we can have the breakfast for free. We also had access to the pool the day after. Unfortunately we didn't have time to try it. Our rooms were small, but nice and clean. (I see from the pictures on their website that they have bigger rooms with balcony). In the morning we got breakfast while the kids were still sleeping. We then got a little basket we could bring to the room with full of croissants for the kids. If it wasn't for the already paid apartment hotel, we would have stayed in hotel Le Biarritz for the rest of our stay in Biarritz. We have never ever experienced such a nice welcoming and service in any other hotel we have stayed at before and strongly recommend this hotel for the service and location. It is located near the beach, 5 min walk. 10 min walk to the grocery store and other nice restaurant. The bus stop is also located right outside the hotel. You can also walk all the way to the city on a sidewalk right by the beach. We would definitively one back to hotel Le Biarritz.

My issues were: the coffee machine was full of mould; the reception was closed when we arrived and we had to wait ages for a rather unfriendly receptionist; we got locked out one day as card stopped working and again we had to wait ages for reception. However my major complaint was, we had to pay a deposit that was returned to you only after an overly thorough apartment inspection! I can understand if you damaged something significant but honestly we were told to clean finger marks off the toaster!! We had paid to stay there and were treated like we were at boarding school or something!! On the plus side, there was good parking and it was walking distance into Biarritz, so great spot.

|0.17km from city centerThis should not be rated as four star The Good: Excellent breakfast - but pricey. Location with beach within 5 minutes walk and plenty of bars and restaurants. The Bad: Understaffed - only one person ever visible. Online check-in does not work - they still request a card guarantee There is no bar or restaurant or room service - a must for a four star hotel The rooms are tiny - even the so called 'privilege' rooms can only just take a king size bed Unless you are on the higher floors there is no beach or sea view. If you have a rear room, you overlook a carpark. There are only 2 lifts and no accessible stairs (fire door access only) and one was not working when I was there. It is very expensive for what you get. My advice is to look else where, check that the room size and hotel facilities are what you are looking for. There much better value hotels out there, even in and around Biarritz.

Coming from North America we always arrive in Europe in the morning, fairly tired after an overnight flight(s). Our experience is that it is the hotels that insist on making you wait until precisely check in time that invariably have problems with their rooms - this was no exception, after we were kept hanging around until 3:30 the room we were shown had a broken balcony door that wouldn't latch -ie blows open in the substantial wind. We were then taken to a smaller room with working door latch. The room was tiny, the safe on the floor, making access very difficult and the the smallest shower I have ever seen , bending over, turning around impossible, and I am not particularly large. The view from the small balcony was spectacular - not sure if it outweighed all the deficiencies of the room.

The lift has no overweight sensor. The lift has stopped between two floors. The hotel is a very good place to stay in the hotel. We call the alarm: A maintenance staffer (better bad than it was 17 h. because otherwise no one would come) told us he was calling the technician and he was not entitled to do anything! . We waited half an hour. There was no telephone coverage inside nor. We were waiting for 8 people as ”sardines in lata” to arrive the technical desire. The hotel was a very good place to stay in the city. The first time this happened, we were told, so you should review the protocols of that service, update the installation mechanisms and change the OTIS assistance service. . The rest of the stay, suitable.

NESPRESSO machine was giving water instead of coffee and I let lovely person ( they’re ALL lovely so expect that as one of best things to happen on a trip ) and it was evening. Following afternoon come back to room and tthere is a new one there and they had filled it with water. I wasn’t expecting that. I only asked if they can check it etc. And cleaning personnel are so polite. They all greet you and wish you a good day. We lost a card ( long story ) and I asked one of them about it: we searched together and could not find it. We come back to room later and it was there!!!!! She found it ! They go over and above. In Dining room also. You know a hotel is managed well with service and people such as this. They were all awesome and I would not hesitate to stay here over and over.

|0.73km from city centerThis is a 4 star hotel and quite expensive and as such we found that the standard of the accommodation did not live up to expectations. The room was large but a bit old fashioned in style and there was an over bath shower which isn't to be expected in this grade of hotel these days. The worst feature, however was the horrible, musty smell that remained in the room the whole time we were there. It was really quite unpleasant and it was impossible to identify where it was coming from. Carpets in the corridors were marked in places despite attempts having been made to clean them and the stairs which we took on one occasion instead of the lifts were very neglected. Wooden effect floors throughout would be much more practical. In general everywhere was just tired and in need of updating. The staff, on the other hand, were delightful, very friendly, helpful and efficient and the hotel is in an excellent position for the town centre and one of the beaches.

There is no parking on site, but you can go to an Indigo parking lot nearby (~5 mins walk). We had a family room with a bunk bed for the kids. The room is of adequate size and has a large bathroom. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and although we didn't have breakfast at the hotel, the decor in this downstairs room was very nice. An utterly charming boutique hotel that offered good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I come back to Biarritz.

|2.38km from city centerUn escapade avec une grande déception. Tout d'abord nous arrivons à l'hôtel, on nous assigne une chambre qui n'a pas été préparer et nettoyer. Les erreurs ça arrive, mais bon, ce n'est pas comme si la personne à l'accueil était dans le rush. Lorsque nous sommes retournés à l'accueil pour le signaler, la personne nous à changer la carte en nous indiquant l'emplacement de la nouvelle chambre, sans aucune excuse ou geste. Je trouve cela extrêmement limite pour un hotel de cette envergure. Bien sur, sans pass sanitaire, impossible de manger au restaurant, dommage quand le cuisinier à la cuisine direct sur la salle et qu'il ne porte aucun masque, ce n'est pas normal. Ensuite, suite à une urgence, nous avons du partir avant la date prévue de départ, et donc nous avons dormi qu'un soir a l'hotel, qui celui-ci à refuser de nous remboursé la 2e nuit. Au final, nous avons dormi qu'une nuit, payé 2 nuits, était traiter n'importe comment, pour une qualité vraiment basse. Très déçu, souvent en déplacement, nous ne choisirons plus Campanile.
