I've stayed here several times over the last decade and the standards on each visit are quality and consistent. The rooms are apart-hotel style and large and really well designed for a value offering. Our room also had an attractive balcony. In a time when we are encouraged to use stairs instead of lifts, a test of a good well managed hotel is simply the stairs which in Pornichet are really clean bright environments and compliment the ample two lifts which are equally well maintained.

Not many hotels in the area can offer the same charm and ambiance as the Hotel Sud Bretagne. With a pool and beautiful exotic garden where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning or dinner at night. Staff are extremely welcoming and warm. The owner a lovely character who takes great pride in his establishment. At night candlelit tables fill the courtyard and in the morning complete quiet while you take in the morning air from your own private balcony. Rooms are spacious and decorated differently. Spa area a treat as is the pool table. The bar resonates with a bygone area where a martini would seem appropriate. Steps away from the beachfront and with own parking, its a gem worth trying!

We were travelling from Spain to Roscoff on our way back to England and the Hotel Flornoy provided an excellent stopping off point on the night before we sailed. The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and perfectly well equipped for our needs. The welcome was warm and parking was easy. The hotel was very peaceful and we were almost entirely unaware that there were others, in fact quite a few, staying at the same time. The wifi was good and the breakfast was exceptional providing a great selection including some regional specialities. The Hotel restaurant was closed during our visit but it was suggested that we visit Le Grain de Folie, nearby and apparently in the same ownership, where we ate extremely well

A good hotel, close to the long sandy beach. Comfortable, friendly staff and good service. Good food for lunch and breakfast (didn't have evening meals but the menu choice looked good). English spoken by most staff. This is my second visit and I intend to return again next year.

I have stayed here several times before, and the last time I visited was slightly below expectations. I am glad to say this time was a return to the standard! The Chateau des Tourelles is a deeply impressive hotel design. You enter through large wrought iron gates onto prestigious grounds, and the hotel is built essentially as a system of wings coming off the original chateau, which stands impressively on the edge of the rugged coast. Arrival always feels like a James Bond film. But, I was a little disappointed to not feel very warmly greeted by the reception staff on this occasion. The first couple times I stayed, that part of service was impeccable. The concierge team were nice however. Room For a change, I went for the entry-level room, which was in the chateau itself. The room wasn't too small at all, which I thought it would be. Rooms have a fridge that rarely works, and free water (which was not resupplied). Instead of a robe, you get the signature kimono, which I always think is an excellent gimmick, however the one I had was clearly past its best. The room still felt luxurious, despite being entry-level, but it could do with another chair. I actually would stay in this room again, but my preference will always be to upgrade to the Comfort room with a balcony. Facilities As always, facilities are great provided it is not busy. The spa has a swimming pool with an array of jets, a jacuzzi section, a plunge pool with more jets and waterfalls, a communal steam room, and separate men and women changing rooms with showers, lockers and tiny saunas. The outdoor pool is closed for most of the year, but still appears full and fairly clean, so does not become an eyesore. There are ample treatment rooms, a non-gym, and a couple of massaging chairs free to use. The bar is very nice with great ottomans, and the restaurant is supposed to be good (though is expensive). The terrace overlooking the sea is a pleasant and interestingly furnished spot to sit and relax. Location From right outside the chateau, you will find wonderful coastal walks to St Sebastian, or in the other direction to Pornichet centre. Horse racing is nearby. It is a much longer walk to La Baule, however this is very pleasant and flat, and there are shops and restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Pornichet is a coach ride from Nantes, but really it is best to drive here. If dramatic surroundings and aesthetic views are what you look for on a run, this area will not disappoint! My favourite route is along the coast as far as you can go, on the beach for part of it, then back via the residential road inland with wonderful architecture and trees. Overall, the aesthetics of the hotel and its spa feel indulgent and relaxing. An old fella once said to me in the jacuzzi, that 2 weeks in the Tourelles spa will undo everything that life has done to you during the year, and keep you young! And I actually believe it. It is one of the

We stayed in this hotel from August 2 - 10, and what a fine experience it was. The couple who owned the hotel was very friendly and helpful, always greeted us with a smile. The man even carried our very heavy suitcases upstairs at the beginning of our stay and downstairs at the end of the stay. The rooms were spacious enough and cleaned well each day. The hotel was very conveniently located. Very close to the train station. Walkable to the wonderful bakery and walkable to the beach. It was close to some nice restaurants including a pizzeria almost across the street. The present owners are selling this hotel in September. I do hope the new owners will maintain this kind of excellence!

I stayed for three nights in the holiday flats of Ker Juliette (they also have hotel rooms). The flat consisted of a sitting room, a bedroom, a fully-equiped kitchen, toilet and bathroom with shower and bath. It was clean, warm and quiet. If I opened the French windows, I could hear the waves. Another friend stayed in a similar flat opposite. It was very easy to take long walks on the Brittany coast, so we walked from the hotel to St Nazaire and had a great day. The hotel was also well situated for shops. We bought food from the local supermarket and cooked in the kitchen in the flat. All in all, a comfortable place for a relaxing holiday. And the price was incredibly reasonable.

The environment is first-rate, but the room facilities, especially the towels and towels, are really not up to five-star standards! Especially unbearable is the poor sound insulation of the room! The music bar downstairs runs until 12 o'clock. The room noise and quake on the 5th floor are too serious to sleep at all! After finally getting quiet, the next room began to perform a passion show, thrilling, sleepless all night ... living in this most luxurious five-star hotel, enjoying such hell-style torture, but also drunk! Cried! fainted!

Cost-effective. The location is very good, PAUL and McDonald's are near the street, it takes less than 1 minute to walk. Lafayette is also very close. Within 3 minutes. Tourist Information, Grand Theatre, tram station is also very close, walk about 5 minutes to . Be aware that Bordeaux has a pedestrian zone and the car cannot go directly to the hotel entrance. Hotel facilities have a Nespresso coffee machine, shampoo and conditioner, unlike other hotels only all-in-one. Note that the bathtub is a bit high. Breakfast costs $15 euro. Consider buying city day pass, 24 hours $29 euro. Pack the wine museum (tickets $20 euro) and some entrance tickets and public transportation (tickets $4.7 euro). If you go to the wine museum, the value for money.

From the welcome on arrival to the checkout we had a thoroughly positive experience here. The hotel is situated beside the Gare St Jean, an ideal position for travelling around the city. There is a tram stop just behind the hotel or you can walk through the station where you can find trains, buses and trams as well as taxis. The trams are an excellent way to get around the city. We took the advice of the lady in the tourist office inside the station and bought the Bordeaux City Pass. This gave us unlimited travel on the buses, trams and water taxis as well as entry into all sorts of attractions; well worth consideration, look it up! A great trip made all the more enjoyable because we had such a comfortable and friendly base.

Every time my partner and I come to Bordeaux, we choose to stay at the Ibis Budget here around Meriadeck. Simply because it is cheap, clean and in a fantastic location for anything you want in Bordeaux. Admittedly, the rooms are small (and you'd be surprised how small!) but you have all the amenities and space you need. Most importantly, the room is clean and tidy. The hotel does offer a luggage storage if needed also. It says they charge 2€ for this, but if you look on the back of your door in your room, it says "Free". Use this to your advantage! Location wise this is excellent. Meriadeck shopping centre (with a huge Auchan within) behind, St Andre Cathedral, Rue Sainte-Catherine, Hotel de Ville... everything you need (even the train station!) is within walking distance. And it'd be rude not to walk in such a fantastic city. All in all, next time we're in Bordeaux, this will be top of the list of hotels to stay in once more.

The facilities of the Samsung Express Hotel are in harmony with ibis. Google maps are navigated to the back door of the hotel. The room is small, the toilet is in a small cubicle, and the bathtub is small. From the airport, you can take the 1+ line to the palais de justice station and walk for a hundred or two meters. It is convenient to not have a chartered car or a taxi. About 1 km walk to Pepelan Square in the city centre.

The hotel has excellent service! (due to covid-19 the wine-cellar could not deliver the wines to the hotel, called the hotel who sent staff to pick it up instead so we did not have to carry the wine around) - Truly excellent service! Sweet touches with calling beforehand to enquire if there are any special needs, sweet welcome in the room etc. Great facilities, amazing garden with a brilliant pool you don't want to leave. Room was spacious and cool with a little balcony.(a small thing and depending on taste: Not a fan of not having closed bathroom, with shower in the room and little privacy for being "in the bathroom".) To conclude, we wished we had stayed longer!

Good breakfast and location. But a lot of one-off things aren't there, and that's probably the case in Europe. The overall feeling is not bad, but one day, throwing my trousers directly to the ground for sanitation, I came back to see how angry I was. The shower head in the bath is not good, the old one, the angle cannot be adjusted, and the washing is uncomfortable. There is a taxi at the door, which is not bad.
