The breakfast is plentiful, the room is clean, very close to the Amiens Cathedral, and there is SHOW in the evening, wonderful! There is no private garage, but there is a public parking lot nearby. It is not too far away. Unload the luggage and save the car. If you can't come back, you can go around and there is a food street next to the garage.

The hotel Le Prieure is a pure pleasure right next to one of the most wonderful cathedrals in Europe in a delightful city. On our own 'Tour de France' and after taking a long chevauchée - albeit completely non-violent and in a FIAT - across Brittany and then Normandy back roads, we ended in Picardie and Amiens. I wished I had decided to spend more time here at this hotel and in Amiens. If you come, I urge that you do spend the time if only for the cathedral which merits your full attention. The hotel is on a side street literally 100m from the soaring cathedral; the yellow sign is easy to spot. You hear the morning bells for sure. The hotel is an old building, there is no elevator and the stairs are steep and somewhat narrow. The very helpful Lea who checked us in carried one of our two small rollies up to the fourth floor was a beast (in an athletic way!) and was a great help - many thanks, Lea! Bringing them down those stairs - see the photo - in the morning when we left was a slow challenge. The room was clean and the bed comfortable for two. The bathroom modern, large, shower strong, towels thick and nice. Wifi is good. The window tilts up for air if you wish and the view is fully of the cathedral. Lying in bed and watching the cathedral in moonlight is breathtaking. Breakfast on the first floor was excellent, fresh breads, a selection of cheese, and so forth. There is a small internal balcony where one could sit and have a glass of wine and quiet down after a bit of travel or seeing the sights. The old town by the river is nearby, a ten minute stroll, with its numerous shops and places to eat. And of course there is the church which is - to use a now over-used word in its proper sense - awesome. It is right up there with cathedrals such as Reims, Chartres and Strasbourg in impact and having been cleaned just a few years ago, gleams in its cream white grey stone as it must have done when newly built centuries ago. Staying here is like staying in an old medieval place but with quite modern conveniences (well, except for an elevator but one cannot quibble). Le Prieure is most highly recommended.

After a 20 year break, we wanted to re-visit the Cathedral and the area, so this seemed to be the closest within a reasonable budget. Yes,as lots of other people have said, the hotel is old, but comfortable enough for a few nights. We had the only ground floor room, noisy as next to traffic lights so fumes and running engines an issue, good secondary double glazing, but at the expense of some fresh air. 2 nights in early September €105 for 2 people. Breakfast was extra. The breakfast complet was “ish “ @€8.00, not to our expectations, but reasonable/hot/ tasty enough. Will be trying the basic breakfast @€4.00 the next morning. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but on request we were supplied with a pot of hot water and cups, so easy and without any fuss. The shower was okay, but the clip on the wall was broken, no big deal. Parking could be expensive, the maximum was for 5 hours at €17.00 on a parking meter, but we were guided to a place 2 minutes away that was based in the area of a local college, so it was a wait until someone moved. Not secure so would not suggest you park anything expensive/cherished. Not sure we would re-book, but it’s very central, so balance that against price/comfort.

We spent one night here in September 2018 before catching the train to Paris. Hotel de Normandie is a quick walk from the train station and is close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are pokey and worn, but clean given the wear and tear. The bed linen was tired but had clearly been washed. The walls are thin so we could hear people in neighbouring rooms. Our room was accessed by lots of narrow stairs - would not suit someone needing a lift. Our toilet was so close to the sink, that we could hang our heads over the sink while on the toilet. The toilet had a cord to pull for the flush. My parents' toilet had an electric flush. The upside was the friendly lady at reception. The room was fine as a cheap room for one night's sleep and a shower. It was not a room we would chose to hang out in.

On first appearances this is a shabby 2 star hotel in the middle of noisy roadworks, however once inside the truth becomes apparent. Situated close to the city centre and a short walk from some excellent restaurants and pubs, it's ideally located for a city visit. The welcome from the owner, who speaks no English, was fantastic and through my limited understanding of French we were offered the choice of 2 rooms. We chose room 11 which is very basically decorated and frankly quite dated although this adds to the ambience and atmosphere of the place. The room was clean (obsessives may disagree but it was more than acceptable for us) and the bedding smelt clean - the en suite was spotless with a powerful, hot shower. The bed is very comfortable, the best nights sleep during our weeks stay in France, and the location is quiet at night with shutters and a fan to keep the room cool. The breakfast is a typical continental with plenty of bread, croissants, juice, tea and coffee. No meats but that's no great loss as the quantity more than makes up for the slightly limited choice. More than good enough given the price. And finally, the host. He genuinely couldn't have done more for us. Attentive, helpful and instructive. A perfect 2 star hotel for a cheap weekend break.

I'm actually sitting in the Hotel Saint Louis, having an excellent breakfast while I write. The location is perfect; a short walk from the train station, from the cathedral, and from other sights (like the house of Jules Vernes). The staff is friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable. It's clean and good-looking in the kind of minimalist way that I favour. The only slight drawbacks: the hot water is slow to get to the faucet (but is then ample) and the hotel desk shuts at 8 PM, so that you need to let yourself in by a side door with a code. I will definitely return here when I'm next in Amiens.

Handy hotel only 10 minutes walk to the centre. We were able to park on the roadside for free but there is a large car park approx 5 minutes walk away. Hotel very clean and staff pleasant & helpful. Breakfast lovely ( €6.80 per person). Our room was small but very clean, I asked for extra towels which were provided immediately. No hairdryer in our room. Shower gel provided. We visited Amiens for the Christmas Market and to follow the Remembrance Trail re : The Somme. Amongst other places I’d recommend the WW1 museum in Albert. The Notre Dame Cathedral Amiens is an amazing gothic building especially as we were there for the evening light/music display projected onto the cathedral in celebration of its 800 years! Other local tourist places were closed due to the end of season ( Oct 31st) but we still enjoyed our few days away. Merci Ibis budget Amiens 😊

The hotel is fresh, consists of 2 buildings - 1 in the older house and 1 in the new built part. The parking just in front of the hotel is free and spacious. The hotel is easy to access by car, however if you are planning to go to city centre for sightseeing - you would need to use public transport, or ride a car there. Luckily parking in Amiens city centre is not a problem (was not for us). Rooms are nice and cozy, only sound isolation is not good therefore you can hear you neighbours. Also when you take a shower, floor gets wet due to the fact that there is no door closing the shower from the rest of the bathroom. But you get enough towels! Recommend this hotel, especially if you are travelling by car!

We needed something in a hurry for 1 night due to train drivers' strike and found this place online. It had everything we wanted, and more. Very close to the station - just a couple of minutes easy walk, yet central to all else Amiens has to offer. Quiet room on the 3rd floor (the lift is quite small). Immaculately clean, beautiful view over a central garden/courtyard. Front desk lady was charming and gave us tips on what to see during our stay. Maps & tips at reception. Roomy bathroom; hairdryer; shower pressure excellent; nice fluffy towels; comfortable beds; room temp good. Didn't try the TV but I assume it was working. Breakfast for 8 euros was AMAZING - choice of cheese, bread, eggs, croissants, spreads, pate, coffee, teas, cereals, yoghurts. A definite must - everything fresh and tasty. Sensor lights in corridors take a couple of seconds to turn on so be prepared to stand in the dark for a moment. We had something else booked for the next 3 nights but we would have happily stayed here the whole time. This will be my first choice for next time in Amiens - couldn't fault it. Cheap too!

A bit difficult to locate in Glisy, but worth it. The motel consists of two buildings and you access your room from outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room, although small, was sufficient for the three of us. There's a double bed with a bunk bed on top. The bathroom is small and I struggled a bit in the shower due to its size. Breakfast buffet was basic but nice and filling. Parking in abundance all around the hotel. A/C in the room. Black out blind made it easier to sleep. Would recommend a stay here if you are travelling through France either towards or from Belgium.

The hotel is located in the heart of Lyon, just a 5 minute walk from the central square and shopping streets. There are a variety of specialty shops in the shopping street, big-name luxury jewelry and ZARA, HM, etc., although not comparable to the Paris store, the goods are all, but the basic models are available to meet the basic shopping needs. The most acclaimed hotel is the breakfast, on the top floor of the hotel, with a view of the Rhone River through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast is extremely rich, because it is the holiday season, breakfast is delayed until 11 o'clock, you can rest assured that you can take a nap and slowly enjoy a fine brunch.

Clean and spacious, booked a room with a living room, booking information is for three people, the sofa bed in the living room was opened and paved at the time of check-in, the balcony is also a large balcony connecting the living room to the bedroom, it is nice to have a kitchenette, walking near the hotel There is a slightly bigger Carrefour in 5 minutes. In the morning, my husband and the child did n’t get up to buy some juice, milk, bread, salad, etc. After all, it ’s not cheap to eat outside. It was learned that Lyon’s old town was very difficult to park, and it was specifically designed as a landmark hotel in the new city. This hotel can be seen from afar, but it is not easy to find the hotel entrance and parking lot by car. Because the nearby road is under construction, it took three laps to find the hotel's small entrance. The parking lot is large, 25 euros a day. The hotel lobby is on the 32nd floor and the room is above the 33rd floor. The view is good and has its own characteristics. The room is small, it is fan-shaped, and two adults with a child sleep very crowded. The sanitation is very good, quiet, carpeted, not ventilated, the shower floor is a bit slippery, there is no place to dry clothes. The hotel has a restaurant, dinner is good, service is good. There is no bustling old town nearby, and there is a large public car park next to the food city not far from the hotel.

We were looking for a good hotel which would serve as our stopover as we were driving to the South of France. We booked a night stay in this beautiful InterContinental Hotel. We arrived around noon and by accident drove directly to the hotel's garage. It was unclear if there was valet or if we could self park our car. As we did not get in to the garage, we were stuck there as the bell in the garage was rather complicated. We phoned the front desk and quickly someone helped park our car. The bellboy took our luggage and escorted us to the reception. We were quickly checked in and received a very nice upgrade to one of the beautiful Executive Duplex rooms with views over the river. The hotel itself is huge and is simply beautiful. There are many restaurants and shops in the premises and is located in the heart of Lyon, everything can be done by foot. Our room was very large and had a cosy seating area on the top level. Downstairs, there was a very comfortable bed and the bathroom with large walk in shower. The window in the room was floor to ceiling but probably hard to clean as there were some cobwebs on it. Staff were very helpful with a city map and recommending sights and restaurants nearby. Within walking distance, there are many good places to eat and shopping streets are very closeby.

The location of the hotel is really good. Downstairs is Sephora opposite Paris Spring, and then White Apple Square, but the hotel rooms are really too small, and then there is no bathtub. The hotel I booked was very expensive because at the time It ’s the Lyon Festival of Lights, so it ’s very expensive. It ’s usually not that expensive. If you judge this hotel by its value, it ’s not worth it. I think its value should be around 1,000 yuan. Simple is rude, because breakfast is not so good, but there are few juices that are not freshly squeezed for tea, and you have to make your own tea in bags. The hotel does not have any service at the front desk to check in, and it is not very fast, but it is generally okay. It is not worth 1,000 yuan or more for 1,000 yuan, thank you!

This is a five-star hotel in a classic style, converted from an old building. Definitely not the kind of hotel used in China. In the center of the old town of Lyon, there are various stores on the doorstep, and a stylish chocolate shop diagonally opposite, and the famous Rose Tower attractions across the alley next to the hotel. The interior decoration of the hotel is also old-fashioned, the door is opened with a key and no card is needed. The room was beautiful and welcoming, the toilet and shower room were separated. There is also a spa on the top floor. We went to live in Lyon on the day of the annual Lyon Festival of Lights, and on the weekend, the room price doubled several times than usual.
