This hotel is truly amazing! I needed a short trip to clear my mind and explore a bit out of Madrid, so I booked a trip to Salamanca a few days ago. I chose this hotel as it looked well located. As soon as I walked in the street I realized it was a great option, the building is beautiful... literally a Nobility Palace. Moreover from the moment you arrive, the staff greets you and treats you like a VIP. I felt welcomed from the very beginning. Miguel Angel from the front desk made sure I was getting my room as quickly as possible and make sure I got the room I booked. I chose a room with a view and gosh WHAT a VIEW! If you can afford a few dollars more that's the option to have in mind, I got a room with a view to San Estevan and it was truly magical. At some point, I didn't want to leave the room. I got my chair in front of the window and was very productive. I even got my coffee and some ham/wine looking at the changing sky over the church. The room was very modern and comfortable. The whole building is really nice and I you feel in a renaissance palace. I would definitely will come back here... for the attention and the increased productivity!

I thought it was excellent, we started with a very simple thing, the photos, the internet data, everything right. The room/apartment was small, but as I say was what they offered and the price was good. If you want a chalet at €50 night, then no, you pay it. We went with 2 dogs, border collie and schnauzer. More location? Well, it would have been good, but it should also be said that it was more than enough. A vitreo with two fires, one oven and a microwave. Cooler, water, the larger bathroom proportionally than the room. All perfect. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. But also being responsible, most of us are making a great effort to keep everything clean and to disturb the least possible. Our behaviour with dogs will be judged otherwise, so we need to be extremely careful. I insist, good location, good price, good service, good apartment. Now for note, My wife left among the sticks a little cheap pends just from Tous. They found them and send them to us by mail. Better than that little things. Thank you very much. But much.

The two good things about this hotel are the location, right on Plaza Mayor and that they allow dogs- for an additional fee of course! The reception of the hotel, is pretty and comfortable, but the rooms are horrible. The room we were given smelt horribly mouldy. The thermostat of the AC was broken and the room was freezing all the time. Imagine sleeping with a hoodie and socks in Salamanca in summer!!! If we switched off the AC the mould smell swamped us totally, so much so that my partner got a sever allergy attack that almost ruined our vacation. We complained at the reception to a lady with blonde hair and bangs, and she very curtly told us- someone will come to your room to check - but nobody appeared. Poor customer service indeed! We had one tiny window to our room, and if you looked outside you would shudder, it overlooked the back of some old dirty building, that had rubbish, and filth all over. Breakfast was in the restaurant, once again they allowed dogs inside, only at the section right at the entrance and as ,long as your dog was quiet and well behaved. The breakfast selection was good, but once dishes were empty, there was no way they were getting refilled! On both mornings I had to go to the staff, point out the empty dish of pancakes one day and doughnuts the next and say - I am waiting, then only, was the dish meagrely refilled. Of course I will never stay at this hotel again. The mould in the AC was bad enough to kill anyone with breathing issues.

Returned for the 7th or 8th time on our way between the North Spanish ferry and the Algarve. Although we only stay one night at a time staff recognise us and are always very friendly and helpful. Fantastic choice for breakfast- you could have it as a 5 or 6 course meal! Really appreciate the underground parking and thoroughly enjoy walking to the Plaza Mayor, across the Roman bridge, past the Old and New Cathedrals to sit and eat and drink, watching the world go by. Beautiful even in the rain!

Wow! Everything about this hotel was terrific. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, well appointed, and has parking. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the plaza mayor and old town of Salamanca. The hotel room was nice sized with a big bathroom. Salamanca should be on everyone's list of hidden Spanish treasures. It's a great base for visiting other towns like Avila and Segovia. And this is the place stay when you do so. I can't be more enthusiatic about this hotel.

We chanced on this hotel just by driving around Salamanca - it is on the edge of the historical town, but within easy 5-10 min walking distance of all the major attractions, cathedral, Plaza Mayor, etc. The hotel has beautifully furnished stylish rooms, great amenities and a wonderful enclosed atrium with historical ruins incorporated in the hotel lobby. It looks a lot better than a standard 3* hotel. It is possible to find free parking on the street nearby overnight, although payment is required after 10 am. Our room had a great view of the Cathedral. The rooms are not large but perfectly adequate. Highly recommended especially if you are a tourist traveling by car!

Like so many other reviewers of this hotel, we chose it as an easy option for a one night stop en route from the Santander ferry to the south coast (Algarve). It is easy enough to find, and the underground car park is convenient, with just enough space to turn the corners. (Owners of oversived SUVs or limousines may have trouble, but they don’t have my sympathy.) The rooms are basic, as one would expect. But a bottle of water and tea/coffee making facilities should, in my humble opinion, be provided, even at this level. Water sold at reception is totally overpriced, so bring your own. At least the a/c worked, and staff were friendly. The hotel is ‘pet friendly’ which is an advantage if you have one, a distinct put-off if you don’t. There are dogs in the lobby, in the lift, and in the surrounding streets and the neighbouring park. Dog owners are very inventive (‘stretching’ or ‘exercising’ are common euphemisms) when it comes to covering up the true reason for taking their darlings out, so be prepared to see them do their business and their owners (well, hopefully) scooping up the results. Be aware that those same hands will later press the lift buttons etc. The moulded plastic bathrooms are, frankly, disgusting and the room walls seem to be made either of the same material or cardboard, they are definitely too thin to prevent noise and movements (!) travelling from one room to another. So, having been to Salamanca once, the next time I would stay in another hotel which may be a little more difficult to access by car but offers more comfort for a reasonable extra fee.

Stopped off here for 2 days. We have stayed here twice before and the parking is really handy, underground, secure and away from the heat.. They gave us a room upgrade and it was a lovely room. AC worked well and the bed was very comfortable.  There is a minibar but oddly enough no tea or coffee making facilities. Staying here before we had no issue with Wi-Fi but this time we did as the signal was very weak and not strong enough to watch our own TV online.. Reception happily provided an ethernet cable however the port was not working. As it was the weekend they did not have a technician.. They provided an extension lead and we were able to move our box closer to the door where the signal was a lot stronger and able to watch our own TV programmes. Reception were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in an excellent location a short walk to the main tourist attractions.  A great stop off hotel to enjoy Salamanca on the way to/from Portugal.

The location of the hotel door is not good parking, we parked on the side of the road, there is a small brother parking, do not need to do it yourself, need to pay parking fees. The room is good, very European, 3 people stay, the third person is the sofa bed, the furniture is enough, not far from the sights, are walking.

Once again we loved our stay at this Parador. In view of on-going pandemic situation, the room had been carefully looked after. A good selection of wine to match the selected gourmet cusine. To start the day, nothing like breakfast which offers a variety of local products and will make one feel energetic. The Parador is ideally located with ample parking space. Only a short ride to the historic city centre by taxi. Overall we loved our experience and look forward to stay in near future.

Given the glowing reviews of my fellow writers, I started to skip a redundant report on our stay; however, good work deserves recognition and praise--and that's all I have for this property. It's beautifully redone with stunning views and every comfort, plus its served by staff that take hospitality up to the highest level. No request is a bother and most needs are anticipated. We loved our superior room with a great view of the convent and town, loved the quiet location that just the right distance from the square, loved the free parking that was assisted every time, and loved the ease of a warm welcome at the door and an elevator we never had to wait on. Breakfast was great, ambiance better--just everything well done and top shelf!

The hotel was better than expected. There is a petrol station with good oil prices and free parking. There is also a white line in the side lane of the hotel to park for free. Do n’t put valuables in the car. The room facilities are a bit old but not affected at all, and the bath products are also very good. The only thing that can be said is that the breakfast for 8.5 Euros / person is not good enough, and there are too few choices, such as few types of bread, no fresh tomato puree ... It is recommended to eat in the city.

This is a 2 star hotel, but they don’t claim to be a 3 star, like some do! I would call it 2 1/2 stars. It was great value for money! Cheap, clean, very friendly. Close to parking, close to the Plaza Mayor de Salamanca, close to everything. We were given the choice of 2 different rooms as one was bigger, which is the room we took! Good amenities. The hotel is central and the good price, it cost me about €50 per night but they would have to solve several things because with the excuse that is cheap leaves to desire. One thing to improve is cleaning, I have to say that the second day was a little cleaner but the first day when we entered we noticed bad smell and found dirt through the floor and in the bathroom. Our room was like a green plastic chair that was broken and I say, if it's broken because they leave it in the room, I don't understand the truth. But the worst of all was when we saw a big sleeve on the bed, I think it was the typical blood sleeve of the rule of some woman, the truth that people who make beds would have to see whether the bed clothes they put is clean or not, In the other room we had, it was just as unclean and this time they had a swab over the head of the bed hanging and several sockets off the floor. By the way, we had breakfast contracted, since we had no reception they sent you a message from WhatApp indicating the bar where you can go, the surprise was that the first day they sent us to one that was quite far, The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. By the way, on the second day we had to go to another bar that was 50 metres from the Hostal because the first day was on holiday, something we told the hostel managers why they had no idea of this, The service is the truth that is flogite, if we don't get to warn that the breakfast bar would not have been there the next day they would not know and tomorrow we would have been worried about calling them to know the new breakfast bar. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a very good hotel. My advice is that if you are very bad with money, stay in this Hostel but if you don't get 10 or 15 euros, find another. By the way, if you touch a room that this place hangs up to the place ready not to sleep until 1 p.m., the terraces of the square bars are filled and people's voices will not let you sleep because the windows of the hostel They have not very fat glasses that do not well isolate the sound of the street.
