Older hotel, but updated. First room we stayed in had some mold issues in the bathroom and was facing the parking lot. We were promptly moved to another room. The older AC unit in the new room was weak. So the assistant manager, Michael, changed it out himself - on a Sunday! Michael is very proactive, polite and helpful. He wears a lot of hats and sure is busy, but always takes the time to talk to his guests and tries to accommodate everybody's needs and wants. I do feel that the hotel is understaffed, but maybe that's because of the Covid situation. All of the daystaff personnel was very friendly and made our stay pleasant. The pool area is tucked away in the back. It's very peaceful with a resort style ambience and has nice landscaping. The pool deck could use some TLC. During our stay the chairs were never rearranged at night and various pool toys had never been cleaned up. Another perk is that some rooms have balconies. Something, we don't see often and enjoyed a lot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

I came to Valdosta to visit my father during the holidays. It was me with my two kids. We arrived late on a Friday night and were checked in quickly to a room on the second floor. There is no elevator so if stairs are an issue mention that you need a first floor room. The room had two queen beds, a desk, dresser, television, small refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom fixtures were a bit old, but it was clean. The breakfast in the morning was good. You could make yourself a hot waffle, or there were instant grits as well as cereal, milk, juice, fruit and variety of danishes. Coffee was available in the lobby most of the day. There is Wifi available throughout the hotel. Plenty of parking and the grounds are well-lit at night. The Valdosta Mall was literally within view from my room. There were also plenty of places to eat nearby and it is close to the I-75 expressway. Overall good stay.

This is a great hotel with amazing amenities. They have a lending locker where you are able to borrow anything from crock-pots to board games. They also have a "pantry" where you are able to shop for a variety of things like candy bars, bathroom supplies, medicine, chips, you name it and you can charge it to your room. So if you don't have the needed change for the vending machines you can still get snacks. The pool is kinda small, but there is an outdoor covered patio with round table and chairs with gas grills provided beside the pool. This is in a great location, close to the mall, theater, restaurants and shopping. There is a Cook-Out located right across the street. We enjoyed our stay and we weren't lacking for anything!

Front desk staff is very nice and the gentleman that checked us in that evening was wonderful - professional, genuinely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, building property and grounds nice. Maintenance man very nice and helpful as well. Cock roaches. I’m a southern girl and very familiar with palmetto bugs which some people confuse with roaches. No, these were good old fashioned cock roaches. Nice room on the third floor of Days Inn, Just before midnight saw a few cock roaches on the desk. Within minutes, more on the wall, the tv cabinet, running under the microwave. Weren’t there when we checked in but clearly after snack food we had eaten and thrown out. Front desk was not surprised, moved us to another room. Told us they treat the individual rooms when they are reported. I asked if the room we were moving to had been treated, he said he didn’t have info on which rooms had been treated but that he would report our old room. New room was great except the tv was off line (maintenance fixed the issue the next morning, said we could not have repaired it ourselves, was a maintenance issue) and the new room also had a tissue hanging out of the security peep hole in the door. They said cock roaches are an issue. Also, the maid knocked on our door quite early in the morning even though the ‘do not disturb’ sign was up. Then she came back and did it again a while later. I did quietly tell the morning manager about the roaches and he instantly offered our room for free, which was nice, but again, didn’t seem surprised to hear about it. It’s funny, because reading the reviews before booking, no one had mentioned the roach issue so please be aware when booking. If they get into your personal belongings, you’ll have them in your house or take them to the next hotel.

I checked in around 8:30-9:00 with my son, granddaughter and niece. The 1st room we were given was dirty (dusty, didn't look vacuumed) and it had no pull out so we asked to move (we ASKED) the 2nd room was a little dusty but at this point I just wanted to get these kids to bed. As we unpacked and started getting ready for bed my niece said her socks were wet? So I felt the carpet and it was wet. I called down and asked if the carpets had been cleaned (due to the big paint stain on the floor) the clerk said they were and them silence. Since we already unpacked I told the kids just wear your shoes until bed (we were NOT offered to be moved anyway) about an hour in I noticed my wallet was missing I called to see if I left it at the desk and I had not. My son asked do you think you left it in the other room? I went down and asked for a key to the 1st room to see if my wallet was there where I was met with a very rude night auditor. After a little time I got a key and indeed found my wallet in the room I had left it on the desk. Went down and returned the key and said I was sorry and thank you....NOTHING no smile no emotion. Ok? I couldn't sleep and due to our socks being wet and a few damp clothes I went down and got laundry soap to was our clothes. Again NOTHING at this point I really don't care anymore. The last time I had to go down was after 6 to get more quarters I stood there a while before she noticed me. My quarters came with the same emotionless nothing. Now I'm done and get my family up to get ready and get out of there. Spent a wonderful day with my family and came home. I called to speak to the GM about my experience and without saying the exact words he basically called me a liar!!! His employees are NEVER rude the carpets WERN"T WET, the room WAS NOT DIRTY! I assure you I'm NOT a liar. I hate complaining due to working for a Choice property but this was crazy. I will NEVER stay here again. Choice also notified. We have been travelling back and forth to Florida along I-75 since 2013. We have our favourite motels that we usually make as our various nightly destinations along the way. With the current pandemic and stretching our trip to 4 days vs. 3 we made Valdosta our destination for the first night returning home. Days Inn is pet friendly. It offers Wyndham rewards. The staff were very pleasant given the restrictions that they were working under. The Breakfast was better than the typical motel offerings and nicely presented. We will make this our new destination motel

This was our 1st visit to Valdosta GA. The Holiday Inn Conference Center was our hotel choice. Check in was ok. The front desk agent was not the friendliest person we have dealt with but she got the job done. The bar was a nice change as far as personality. Heather, the food and beverage manager, was our bartender, she did a great job keeping up with drink and food orders. There seemed to be many regulars there and all of them had nothing but nice things to say about Heather and the hotel. We do have 2 complaints, we ordered food that had good flavor but it was on the cold side. We stay up late, at 9:45 AM the housekeeping staff decided to have a party outside our room, 214. They were banging things around, laughing and talking loudly. Other than those 2 items we would stay here again, hopefully we will be invited to the hall party.

When we drive to south FL to take cruises, Valdosta is in a good location on our route to stop for the night after driving all day. We had stayed here back in 2018. I had hoped to find a different one to try because we weren't too terribly impressed with this Super 8 last time, but after reading several reviews for other hotels in the area, this one looked to be the better choice. Nothing new since the last time we stayed. It's a decent place for an overnight stay, maybe a couple if necessary. We had arrived the week before the whole country went crazy over the "virus" scare, so there were no worries. The room seemed pretty clean. As it was the last time we stayed here, the A/C unit was hard to adjust just right. If I remember right, the last time the room stayed pretty humid, even with the A/C cranking, and that's kind of how it was this time, too. Just not quite as bad. The bed was HARD. After driving for about 12 hours that day, the last thing I wanted was an uncomfortable bed, but that's what I got. No surprise, I didn't sleep very well. I don't remember the bed at our last stay here being like that, so obviously it's the luck of the draw. Unfortunately for us, they didn't add an elevator since the last time, so we had to lug our bags up & down the stairs again. It's a good thing there's only two stories. Breakfast is your typical cold, continental foods. Last time they had biscuits & gravy, which weren't bad by Super 8 standards, but this time their hot option was oatmeal. That was very disappointing because I don't eat oatmeal and was looking forward to some b&g before hitting the road again. So it was cereal and cinnamon rolls for me. That's about all that can be said for this place, especially when it's only an overnight stay.

We have stayed at many Fairfield Inns over the years and this location is one of the best. We stay here often when in Valdosta and the entire staff is top-notch from check-in and throughout our entire stay. The breakfast is also above average with a friendly and helpful staff member available at all times. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star unit is the entry to the grounds. The lot closest to the street is littered, in need of repair, and flled with debris left over by the many homeless who use the exit ramp of I75 to hold up their aid signs. I do not believe the hotel owns the front lots. The condition appears no better than the last time we stayed here. A first-timer may turn around and leave when first entering. It is a shame given how well Fairfield maintains their parking lot, the grounds, and the interior of the hotel.

We were on our way to Florida and I made a reservation for one night at this hotel. Check in was efficient except we did not receive our water as Hilton Honors members. So, I had to go back to the front desk to ask for the water. The room had the sticker on the door to assure us that the room was clean which we appreciated. And it was clean. The room was described as having a sitting area. I thought that might mean a couch or a couple of chairs. I was disappointed that there was just one chair! It made me feel like if I book at the Hampton Inn again, I need to be careful and ask questions if I am in doubt about anything. However, I found the description to be misleading . The room needs updating or at least some repair of worn out things such as peeling wallpaper, cracked tiles and furniture that is chipped. But, the linens were of good quality and the beds were comfortable. Shortly after our arrival, we really looked forward to a cup of coffee. I tried pouring the dark roast coffee and then the light roast and both were barely warm. The decaf was hot, but we really didn’t want that. I reported this to the front desk and they said that the coffee was being brewed. So, we went back to the room for awhile and then returned to the lobby. The dark roast had not been brewed which is what we prefer, but the light roast was hot so that is what we settled for. They have what they call a Social Hour at this hotel so there are free alcoholic beverages. We don’t drink alcohol. We thought there might be some snacks as the other Hampton Inns we have stayed at in the past had served them at their Social Hours. But, this place served no snacks. They explained it was because of the pandemic. We can somewhat understand, but we were also disappointed about that. Then, the next morning, we went down for the free breakfast. It seemed like they really skimped on that since what they offered were the pre frozen omelettes warmed up, some potatoes and a biscuit. And that is all that was offered! We had stayed at another Hampton Inn the night before and there were many choices as was always the case whenever we have visited this hotel chain in the past. So, that was another disappointment! Needless to say, we will not be returning to this hotel. It was below the usual standards we have always found when staying at a Hampton Inn!

The Hampton Inn has been recently remodeled and both the rooms and common areas were very clean. While they have a posted mask wearing policy, it was largely ignored and not enforced. In fact, the manager was not wearing a mask when he checked us in. They have also disabled the online check-in system which we like to use to select a room by the rear stars and then skip the check-in crowd. An added bonus is the Greenlots charging station which appears to be lightly used. We'll definitely return, but it's disappointing that a hospitality business is not doing as much as it can to ensure travelers feel safe.

SSBW Clermont is located behind a strip plaza. You must watch for the hotel sign or you may drive pass it. The plus is that it is far enough away from the busy street with the buildings in front of hotel muffling the traffic noise. Once inside the room, the furnishings are newer and the room is very clean and well maintained. Stayed Thursday for $63+tax and no resort fee. A bonus continental breakfast is included. Stayed at another SS BW further west the night before at almost twice the price, but the furnishings were not as new/clean. SS BW Clermont is not in the heart of the Disney area, but, for those on a budget (or not), you should give this place a try.

The hotel is large in size and is located on the International Drive, close to the Sea World. The hotel consists of two small buildings and two new high-rise buildings. The estimated price is double the difference. There are two small swimming pools on the left and right side, with table tennis and pool tables. The hotel has a car rental company and a small shop, a petrol station across the road, a small supermarket and three restaurants. The hotel has a free bus to Universal Studios, which needs to be booked one day in advance, but I don't recommend it because the bus time is not on time, and it is necessary to run 3 hotels to pick up guests and the bus is full. Playing uber less than 10 knives, you can come and go free.

After seeing all the bad reviews, I was happy to discover a very nice hotel. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The price was good and the Room was very nice. I would come back. The hotel is in a very good location for restaurants but is away from the clutter of the city.
