Hotels Near La Taverna Del Port In Barcelona
0.08km from NapoliWe stayed here as prt of a weekend away for my wife’s 40th. We had a really great time and enjoyed the hotel but do have some things we found strange. Staff were excellent and very helpful indeed. We got upgraded to a ramblas room on check in, booked us a cab to the airport, water at the check in. Lovely! Location wise it is in a good position and somehow stays quiet despite this. The room - first the good stuff. - Lovely bed, good linen, nice size towels. - Little coffee / tea area. - Mini fridge with a decent selection. - What looked to be a good room service menu that we didn’t take advantage of. - Safe and robes / slippers in the wardrobes. - right at the top of las Ramblas Only let down is space management! We don’t mind a small room at all but.. - Either side of the bed wardrobes take up all the space between bed and wall. - this means no bedside tables - Then the charging socket with a plug and two usb points but nothing to rest devices on. - No hangers in the wardrobes. Wha? Why?! - On the opposite side the seating area and mini bar took up the whole wall with a huge tv above. - no hooks for towels anywhere! This is all solvable stuff. Just put a smaller tv in and take a seat out put a wardrobe on this wall and shove a couple of small bedside tables and some hooks in. Easy. If the space was better utilised this could have had a 5 🙂
0.11km from NapoliGreat location, just southeast corner of Plaza Catalunya. Outside the door is a pedestrian street, and it’s not fun. At night, sitting outside the balcony, getting some food and drinking, watching the crowds and performances outside, is also very pleasant. The surrounding transportation is convenient and there are many restaurants.
0.12km from NapoliThe hotel was renovated from an old building. The shuttle bus from the airport stops at Plaza Catalunya, and you can reach the hotel through the plaza. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and you can see hotels, restaurants, shops, and subway station entrances nearby. The location is very good.
0.13km from NapoliIn addition to the price is a bit more expensive, the overall evaluation is very good! Specific feelings: 1, the location is very good, just in the Plaza Catalunya, the first row! This convenience is self-evident, convenient, subways and buses are downstairs; the starting point of the pedestrian street... 2, the hotel decoration is still very new... 3, the service attitude is very friendly, I saw that I set aside for 3 days, the front desk directly helped me upgrade the room; also sent a bottle of champagne to us; 4, the price is a little expensive, and the Ctrip booking price does not include tax, there is an increase in taxes at the time of settlement. If you can offer a discount, you will book it next time.
0.13km from NapoliA very good value for money hotel right next to the square, facing the street, going down is Rambla Avenue. Half an hour can go to the harbor. Hotel service attitude is perfect. The new hotel is also very clean. Also provides disposable slippers~ very much like
0.13km from NapoliThe location of the hotel is very good, less than 50 meters is Plaza Catalunya, it is very convenient to go to the shopping street or the promenade. The only thing I’m not satisfied with is that the outside of the balcony is fenced off, so you can’t see the street view, so it’s a bonus for privacy! Although the hotel building is old (the elevator is relatively narrow and old), the decoration is quite distinctive, and the room facilities are modern. The reception was very warm.
0.15km from NapoliStayed here for one night, was an ideal location not on a main road, but right in the centre and well connected to everything! Perfect for the price (50 per night for 2 people) It is very basic, but I personally wouldn't travel to Barcelona to stay in a hotel room the whole time.. so in my case I couldn't have been happier! We had a balcony which is amazing watching the street life from above. Honestly couldn't say a bad word about this place, staff were very nice as well and held on to our bags for us after check out
0.15km from NapoliI chose to stay here on the recommendation of a blog I found online and it didn’t disappoint! I wasn’t on a tight budget, but equally I didn’t want to spend loads on the hotel either, and this was a perfect middle ground. I think officially it was a 2 star place so some of the obvious things you’d get in a 3 or 4 star place were missing (tv, hair dryer, coffee in the room) but since I wasn’t planning on staying inside watching tv and I never dry my hair it didn’t bother me. There was no breakfast provided but this was a good thing as it meant you had a good excuse to go out and try the many fab bakeries in the area. Coffee and tea were available in the lounge downstairs so unless you’re the type of person who can’t actually get out of bed without a coffee then this is great. You also get to chat to other people and read some of the books on offer. My room was small but clean and tidy (though the fire escape plan showed some of the other rooms were larger so if you were more than one you would hopefully be in a bigger one). The bed was large (180cm I think) so plenty of space for two, or to spread out! The only slight drawback was that the curtains were more for decoration than to block out the light so if you can’t sleep if it’s a bit light you might have a problem in summer. For me it was November so it only got light once I wanted to get up anyway and was dark well before I got back to the room. The shower was great, the air conditioning worked though I only turned it on briefly, and the towels were large and thick, unlike some thin ones I’ve had in more expensive places. I did hear a bit of noise from other guests because it was an old building with thin walls and floors, but it was not excessive or particularly late/early so wasn’t a problem. Whether this might be worse at the weekend I don’t know. I was expecting to be able to hear noise from the street which was busy even though it was a small alley but I couldn’t (though with the windows shut and in a room at the back). The location was perfect, about 3 minutes from Universitat metro, and right next to La Rambla where all the action is. All in all it was a lovely place to have some me-time and I was glad to have chosen this place which had lots of character and charm making it a much more authentic experience than the usual boring chain hotels I have ended up with for work.
0.16km from NapoliThe hotel was very well located, just of Las Ramblas. Good access to other neighborhoods like Barri Gotic. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Their suggestions for a dinner restaurant were spot on, recommending a place that he said was not touristy, but authentic Catalan. They even had an ice machine, something we rarely find in Europe. We enjoyed and would stay again.
0.17km from NapoliOverall, the location is super good. At night, there are still a lot of people coming back to play at 11:30. The location is in the Plaza Catalunya in the city center. It is convenient to go anywhere, the subway bus stop is next to the airport line of the airport. It only takes less than five minutes. The Casa Batllo’s home is only 600 meters away, and there are many delicious foods around it. It is also very convenient to buy in large shopping malls. It’s just that everyone’s schedule is different. There are also bars below. The little friends who go out at night may be noisy to sleep. Remember to bring earplugs.
0.17km from NapoliThe impression of this hotel is pretty good, every time I see the front desk, I smile and say hello, the hotel front desk chocolates are delicious, and I still have a greeting card and chocolate on the bed at Christmas, but unfortunately I check out after the second night Yes, but I forgot the bracelet in the hotel. The housekeeper refused to admit it. I spent three nights in Barcelona and the third night was still nearby. I did n’t admit it when I found it. I think it ’s just Swarovski. Shiqi's decorative bracelets are not expensive, remind everyone not to learn my careless packing
0.17km from NapoliThe service was perfect including champagne in the lobby and a lounge space where you can drink bread and coffee for free. The location is also in front of Plaza Catalunya, the bus to the airport is almost in front, there are department stores in Corte Ingles, supermarkets and Zara, so there is no trouble near the station. The staff was also very kind and arrived early but took care of my luggage. There were pot, coffee machine, water service, refrigerator in room, too. The room was clean and on the first day there was wine and chocolate service in the room. I booked 2 rooms, but one room was not able to use on the first day because the drain of the shower overflowed badly, but I could not use it on the first day, but it was solved because I cleaned it the next day, but there was a minus Others were perfect! Absolutely here if you stay next night.
Hotels Near La Taverna Del Port In Barcelona Review
This hotel is really cool. You can do your own cooking, rooms are well air-conditioned. Location is perfect for sightseeing. Metro within walking distance. Taxis outside the door if you wish to take taxi to the lovely beaches which are about 10 mins away. Well worth an early morning walk on Barcelonetta beach, nice breeze in the morning and a great start to the day.
EXE PLAZA CATALUNYA, 2 nights, €180 per night I did not expect to stay at the Exe Plaza, in fact, I had not booked it at all. My reservation at an adjacent hotel was cancelled without notice or warning. You could imagine my surprise and slowly building rage when I arrived after disembarking a 7 hour flight, fighting through the airport and a taxi ride later to find my room was unilaterally terminated. What a time to be alive. But Exe Plaza was next door and within 15 minutes I had an online reservation and 10 minutes afterwards I was standing in my room. So far so good and so grateful. The checking process was extremely efficient and likely partly aided due to the online booking. The hotel is extremely well placed within one of the busiest and most popular spots in Barcelona. If you are a tourist visiting the city then, based on location, you could ask for nothing more. There is a carousel of open top sightseeing bus tours within 30 seconds of the front door. It is also a 15 minute taxi ride to the airport from the hotel assuming the traffic is forgiving. Taxis will set you back around €20. After the location and efficient check-in, the hotel starts to be judged more closely. Exe Plaza is quiet, clean has reliable Wi-Fi throughout which is free and at no additional charge (unlike some parasitic hotels). The staff are friendly, they speak perfect English in case you do not speak Spanish: there is just about nothing they can’t do or organise for you which is great. The rooms are a very decent size given that this is a European hotel, which is often a shoebox tastefully decorated. However, it is a little austere. There is solid light wood panelling and a very large floor-to-ceiling window that allows lights to flooding throughout the room. To be honest this feels a little like a Nordic IKEA show room minus all the vases, glasses and lamps that you are subtly encouraged to buy. This means that this well sized room is very bright. The bed is very comfortable, the sheets are soft and I slept well my entire time. There is a large screen TV here as well. Lastly, there is one of the largest mirrors I’ve ever seen in a hotel in case you are looking for a full length. The showers are hot and the water pressure is reliable. There are toiletries but you will want to bring your own. There is also a nicely stocked minibar. Is there anything wrong with this hotel? No, nothing is obviously wrong. However, if you are someone who wants to stay in the middle of Barcelona and you also enjoy a hotel then you may want to do a bit more research. By enjoying a hotel what I mean is if you like something that is more luxurious, something with boutique design features, a hotel with multiple facilities such as a gym or spa: this is not the hotel for you. For example, if you are coming to Barcelona for a romantic getaway and the hotel plays an integral part in that experience, this is not going to fit the brief. That said, if you are the kind of traveller who
It's close to the airport, and there is a shuttle bus to and from the airport. The service is very good and breakfast is quite rich! The room inside has a bathtub with toiletries, and you can take three meals a day at the hotel!
The decoration smell is very heavy, and others are very good.
This hotel is in a very good location and their people are very kind, we arrived around 12:30am to the hotel, the breakfast is very good, my kids enjoyed the swimming pool
If I did not receive an additional fee of more than one hundred euros after leaving the hotel, I would give a full score ... The additional cost of the child is calculated to 30 euros per night, plus a city construction tax of 7.6. I remember when I was at the front desk, I told I added 20 euros per night. Besides that, the experience was excellent. The location is excellent, the seaside, the British Palace and the Baroque House can be walked by. The rooms are equipped with ritual toiletries. The beds were particularly comfortable and the rooms were cleaned clean. Families with children (2 years and older) must choose a triple room in advance.
The location is close to the airport, there is a free airport van, this is the picture, checked into this hotel. It takes ten minutes to get out of the subway when the subway is uninhabited. At night, it's better not to go alone. As soon as I checked in, I found that the heating was broken. I went downstairs to tell the front desk, but no one came to repair it. I thought it might be the night when the staff was resting. I went back the next morning and found that several people in front of me were queuing for complaints. Some complained about showers and some picked up. However, the attitude at the front desk was still very good and I have been apologizing. Then I complained, and before I returned to the room after speaking, my friend said that the staff had repaired it and it was very efficient. Tried breakfast, not particularly outstanding.
The room is quite spacious, the new hotel is well equipped. The breakfast is full and there is actually fried rice. We didn’t catch the plane to go to the night and the hotel agreed to return the prepaid room rate, which was surprising. The front desk is very welcoming and offers a welcome drink. There are many attractions nearby and you can walk there. Go to the airport to take a taxi for 27 euros. Overall very satisfied, cost-effective, recommended.
The location of the hotel is very good, there are subway and express bus stations nearby, the hotel is clean and sanitary, the bathroom shower head has a large amount of water, and the room card must be brushed in and out to ensure the safety of tourists.
Breakfast is rich, by the sea, the price is reasonable, I don't know if the price will rise in the summer, now the price is very high cost, it is recommended to stay, the shortage is: the staff service attitude is generally cold, the elevator is very slow
There is a restaurant downstairs in the hotel, there is the sound of tables and chairs moving, a bit noisy
The front desk was very nice. We arrived at 10 am. We wanted to store our luggage first. The front desk checked in for us directly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was a few minutes walk from the Sants station.
This hotel is still in a very good location. It only takes five minutes to walk to the Sagrada Familia, and the subway is next to the Sagrada Familia, and it is ten minutes to walk to the Holy Cross Saint Paul Hospital.
From here, no matter if you take the subway to Camp Nou, Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Gracia Avenue is very convenient.
The room is also spacious.
The reason why I beat the four stars for hygiene was that the first night I noticed that there was a curved black hair under the pillow, which was a bit disgusting.
But in fact, they are cleaned every day. It is estimated that they are sticky? ? ?
Hygiene in the next few days is still OK.
Of course, even if you check in after 2pm, you can leave your luggage at the front desk if you arrive early.
The location is OK, the subway is at the door, there are a lot of food around, the hotel parking lot is too small, the 7-seat car can’t stop basically.
A great hotel, not far from Plaza Catalunya, walking and shopping is over. The decor of the room is very clean and fresh, and the breakfast is very rich. The overall stay is the best in a Spanish hotel. Service staff are also very good. Finally, there is a city tax of 0.72 euros per person per night, which is much cheaper than a broken hotel near the Italian train station.
Good location, clean and comfortable
It is far from the city and all major attractions, but the price is moderate, the conditions are very good, there is a big supermarket to buy things very convenient downstairs, there is a Chinese-run grocery store. Although I only changed to a hotel in the city for one night, this hotel left a good impression on me.
The hotel is very close to the subway, there is a relatively large shopping mall in the east, and the facilities are relatively new and not bad. Because I had to catch a plane in the morning, I didn't have breakfast. I told the front desk and packed a simple breakfast and took it away. Service is still very good ~
The triple room we stayed in, the two single beds were put together and we could sleep three people. There is a sofa bed next to it, and you can sleep two people. Then the room has basically no place to stay. It is a Hanting, winning in a good position. It is a few steps away from Plaza Catalunya. The small clothes and shoes next to the hotel are cheap. The clothes in Zara and Ingli shopping are not expensive. There is also a supermarket nearby, it is convenient to buy milk bread.
I hate a person in reception who picked up my call in night time! Her English wasn’t good. She didn’t understand what I ask because she replied wrong answer. So I have to kept asking in the same question and than she changed her voice in moody voice and still reply wrong answer. Until I kept asking on third time and she gave me the right answer by still moody and she didn’t try to say sorry to me at all!!!!!! It’s really ROUGH!
The location is very good, especially good to find, the original King Hotel, and later changed the hotel for convenient transportation, especially close to the British Department Store, you can consider shopping here, the breakfast is very rich, very good!
This is a highly recommended hotel with a high cost performance near Camp Nou Stadium. The room was large and had a work desk and a bathtub. There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. The subway station is just a short walk away. There are many Chinese sushi restaurants in the surrounding area.
Seeing that the hotel is much more beautiful than expected, the old building shape, the front desk is very warm, we arrived at 8 o'clock in the morning, check in in the afternoon, and helped us to store our luggage. The room was small but the bed was very comfortable and there was a nice little balcony that was very comfortable. Very good location, walking to the home of Barth and Mila, Passeig Avenue is half an hour away. There are many restaurants downstairs and the supermarket is very convenient.
The breakfast is very rich and has local specialties. I live in this hotel every time I come. I like it very much. The transportation is also very convenient. It is close to the Gaudí building and there are many network popular Spanish tapas bars around.
The hotel is next to Plaza de Espana. From Barcelona T1 Airport, follow the signs to find the A1 airport bus stop 1 to Plaza Espana, then walk for 5 minutes to reach the hotel! Downstairs is a celebrity restaurant, not bad! There are also shopping malls and supermarkets around! The subway L1 and L3 lines are also 5 minutes walk to the attractions, which is very convenient! The environment and service of the hotel is also very good, the rooms are cleaned every day! The hotel provides shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, electric kettle, but no teeth and slippers! Therefore, it is recommended to bring your own toiletries when traveling!
Convenient transportation very close to the subway
Everything we needed for a whirlwind break in Barcelona. Very central location close to the metro and near many attraction and good restaurants. Hotel amenities were fine and everything was very clean.
Hotel location is good, walk to the Sacred Heart Cathedral! Breakfast is average, the room is fairly spacious, the upper level can see the Sacred Heart Cathedral! The hotel does not have a parking lot, the recommended parking lot is particularly far and expensive! It is not as convenient as the underground parking lot of a large supermarket more than 100 meters away. It is estimated that the price will not be more expensive than that!
Very nice, beautiful and good service. I would like to thank Ctrip in particular for the service attitude. The apartment was originally scheduled. As a result, the apartment has been unreachable. Then it was written to help me book this place and help me make up the difference. Although it wasted 2 hours of waiting, it was good to deal with it, and the attitude was good
The location is very good, very close to the Sagrada Familia, and the Casa Mila and Casa Batllo are also within walking distance. The room is a bit small but clean. Breakfast was good too, the two of us adults and the two children charged three. One problem was that the check-in was too slow, no one lined up, and it took at least half an hour for our family. I hope the front desk can improve efficiency.
