      I traveled to Titisee and the Martim TitiseeHotel with my partner at the end of October, before the second COVID lockdown in Germany. The staff was absolutely a dream: accommodating, polite, competent, professional. The rest...a disaster. This hotel has a 4 star rating. This is NOT a four star hotel. The beds are AWFUL, the rooms are old and basic, the pool is tiny, the restaurant is dark. Breakfast was very good, though the translations of food items were pathetic. As a translator and interpreter, I expect better from a "4 star" hotel. The evening meals were awful. The soups were the same boring creme of something soup, too salty and the food was just a disappointment. Bland, over salted...it seemed like the cooks had no idea what they were doing. The traditional to Baden Württemberg Käsespätzle were the biggest culinary disappointment of my life. While the view was just stunning, the rooms were uncomfortable, cold, old. The bathrooms are clearly new, but don't fit with the rest of the decor. The foam mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable, very used and not conducive to a good night's sleep. While the staff was wonderful, I will never return to this hotel. At 4 stars, I expect better beds and definitely better food. The disappointment was felt deeply by us as we spent nearly €800 and were disappointed at every turn. A huge plus, however, was the wonderful massage therapist in the spa. She was hugely competent and very sweet.

      very strange place beautiful view !! nice flat .... i got a apartment instead a room , but nothing to say really nice great the morning surprise of a little breakfast But now we go on the strange things place is good but have price of 9 star hotel in flat there is not internet ? when you stay in this apartment actually you have to take the car to drive to main hotel and restaurant ....... restaurant i take a little snack 3 slice of ham 3 of cheese half cherry tomato a bottle of water and a coffe ...... 21 euro , now if i'm in a 7star hotel i can take it because i pay where i'm ...... sorry there is just expensive no worth ..... reception a guy helpful a girl really bad attitude plus when i ask for the recipe she say she will not give me because i pay this this organise me the stay , i have note from who organise that recipe i will get in hotel ..... i i wish a big improvement for future because you stay in a 5 star location but you give a cheap class service ...... sometime invest in good staff is a big plus in this business

      Very good and luxerious rooms, especially the bthrooms were very complete and top, but also the beds and all faciltities in the rooms. Free minibar usage, but will be included in the price I assume. Overall quite expensive and there was no option to book half board or anything less that full board. This must also be included in the price so overall there's a lot included that you may not use. But very nice location, top hotel good facilities and certainly recommended several days, both during summer times but I presume also during the winter time. The surroundings will definitely look different from what we experienced during the summer.
