We enjoyed our stay 100% it’s very welcoming and cozy. Everyone there is very professional. We really enjoyed ourselves. The only down fall is that the resort is literally located in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go and eat somewhere nice or grab something fast to eat you will have to go to Austin which is 30 mins away. Just wish things were a little closer but other than that no complaints. Rooms are very clean and the balcony view is unbelievable. Would definitely book again.

Our room was clean and conveniently located, but we we very disappointed that there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby the 3 mornings we were there. We paid $3.25 per cup. Sweet rolls were $4.00 each, which I would not recommend. Mine tasted stale and dry. Coffee was good, however. I do not trust in room coffee makers for cleanliness and will never use one at any hotel. We had to ask for towels during our 3 night stay--no maid service. We will stay at the new Holiday Inn nearby the next time we are in Bee Cave--free breakfast advertised. I heard many guests complain about being charged for morning coffee in the lobby. Be careful Sonesta management--you can lose customers this way! Front desk staff were nice.

We were there only 1 night but our mom and daughter getaway was perfect! The girl checking us in was super friendly. No name tag but I remember she was wearing blue vans. She also checked us out the next day.. red vans this time but no name tag again. She gave us the top floor which is exactly what we wanted. Pool was clean and decent size. The bartender was also nice and he was fast although it was quite busy. My mom & I bought a couple beers and enjoyed the evening by the fireplace, more people joined the bar area later in the night and there was even people singing at some point with a guitar, in Spanish. I don’t think they had anything to do with they hotel, more like guests but we thoroughly ENJOYED it. Very nice stay, we will definitely be back at this location when we visit Austin.

This is the go-to hotel when I travel with my family to Austin. I love the suites as it was roomy enough for 4 people. Only thing is that we all had allergy symptoms in the hotel room probably due to dust and the double bed was a bit small for two people to comfortably sleep on, but we were able to look past that. Greg Olgine at the front desk checked us in and there were no issues with our room. Last year, we got checked into the wrong room, but everything went smoothly this time. Greg was extremely kind and struck conversation with us over the hotel's breakfast. I thought that it was very welcoming and he started our stay off great. We came back from the hotel late at night and he helped us with all our necessities. Again, he was very friendly so we always look forward to seeing him throughout our stay! We will probably come back next time due to great customer service from Greg, the spacious suites, and the yummy breakfast.

7th floor rooms were reserved for our two daughters and their husbands at this hotel close to our home. Everything was clean and well maintained. Their main suggestion was that there be umbrellas at those shallow pool area lounge chairs. It seemed a shame that the pool pavilions were made to look like no one should use them even when no one else is at the pool area. After all, if one is paying a resort fee for items like a pool and fitness room which are available at most non-resort hotels, one wonders what the resort fee is for.

This was a first staying at a Canopy by Hilton; what an amazing location! From the minute of walking in the front door, you are met with a "fresh breath of air" ambiance! The staff, especially Leonard, Heidi, and Jordyn, taking care of every detail of my stay was perfection...great attention to detail, professionalism, and personality!! Every detail from the cleanliness of the room, the bar, and Verbena (the restaurant) was fantastic! You MUST have dinner at Verbana. Highly recommended for a quick weekend stay or a stayation in downtown Austin.

After a long day we finally arrived in Austin about 10:30pm. We followed the GPS to the address only to be redirected several times due to closed roads and construction. This is obviously not the fault of the hotel but maybe there should be a disclaimer on how to locate them! After about 45 minutes we FINALLY figured out how to get to the hotel. It was Thursday night and the night clerk was so nice. She chatted with us about how long it took to locate the hotel. We laughed about how she must have this and conversation over and over with disgruntled out of towners. We inquired about local places to grab food and she recommended using Uber eats because of the road issues. Either way she was delightful to talk to after our experience! We checked into our room 437. The room was clean but certainly outdated. The wood was very dark which made the room dark. There were not plugs on both sides of the bed so you could not plug up 2 cpaps. The bed itself was comforting but the pillows were terrible! They are the kind that are flat when you last on them. You'd need 5 or 6 to be comfortable. The bathroom was fairly small and had great water pressure! Plus the water got hot quickly. The people in the room next to us were smoking in their room and we could smell it in our bathroom. But it was late so we shut the bathroom door and went to sleep. The food for breakfast was very carb driven. No fruit offered. We opted to eat elsewhere. On Friday evening we once again got lost returning to the hotel so we decided we were going to check out and go to another hotel. As we were talking to the Friday clerk (8pm) and explained that we were going to checkout in the mooring instead of Monday she looked at us and said ok. Got on her computer made a few comments and appeared irritated. I asked her if she wanted to know why we were leaving. She didn't! Then we found out the elevators are no longer working. I asked if she knew how long it would be before they are fixed. I am on the 4th floor and have issues walking fire to 2 ankle surgeries and vertigo. She said nope no clue. Have good night. Seriously a terrible response. On Saturday we walked down to the lovely clerk and asked her if she knew we were checking out early. She pulled up our account and said nothing was noted. Then she inquired about our stay. We expressed the difficulty of navigating to the hotel (apparently many people are having this issue and canceling their reservations) and the smoke wafting into our room via the air vents. She was so apologetic. I told her I tried to tell the Friday night clerk but she seemed bothered to have to deal with me. The morning clerk discounted out room rate as well due to the issues. Overall if the traffic route was fixed and I was visiting we would stay here again. 2 out of the 3 staff we interacted with super nice. The smoking was the biggest issue overall! Plus the elevator was fixed Friday evening.

It’s hard to decide whether to leave 2 stars or 3. In some aspects, I’d give 5 stars. In other ways, it’s zero. It was rather expensive, and that would’ve been ok if we had any breakfast, but there was nothing, not even coffee on our second day. We are in the midst of a pandemic and so I can understand that services may be limited, but to have nothing? There were three employees behind the desk while people were going downstairs looking for breakfast, these three were doing nothing to explain, apologize, or alleviate the situation. We had a partial breakfast the first day, and it was served with bad attitude. There was not a lot of food, and nothing to drink. Juice and soda machine dispensers were out of order, there was a little bit of old coffee in the bottom of the jug, but no creamers, no milk, nothing. When the nice lady came out from the kitchen, I asked if they had any milk. (Since I did have two small bowls of cereal). The lady asked me how many I wanted, I said four, she asked for how many people, I told her two people. She replied that I could only have one per person. That’s one half pint per person. I was speechless, having not been chastised for asking for milk, ever, but it felt like elementary school. The lady was very angry. I asked a guy at the front desk if they had more milk and he said he’d check on it and get back. He didn’t. In hindsight, that angry lady was probably upset with the situation there, being overwhelmed and without support from the management. She probably just didn’t show up for work the next day. I don’t blame her if that’s the case, since she obviously wasn’t receiving any support from the front desk people. Having been in management, if I had been caught standing around three deep, with absolutely no resolution to a problem, I’d have been given a decision making leave. They couldn’t have seen to it that coffee, juice, boxes of cereal were there? No signage? No breakfast vouchers? A donut crumb? A few loyalty points? We paid for breakfast, and usually, Staybridge is so good with the breakfast. In fact, that’s why we stayed here instead of the other IHG or other hotels that were near we needed to be. Of all the times I’ve stayed at IHG properties, this one stands out, for incompetent management. Also, there were 2 baby roaches on the kitchen counter, so we didn’t feel comfortable cooking or having food there. There were no signs of any bugs in any other part of our rooms. The rooms don’t appear to be newly renovated as advertised, but it was fine, and the pool was nice and clean. The gentleman that checked us in, he was very nice and helpful, he located a luggage cart for us that someone had abandoned upstairs. We’ve stayed in two other IHG properties since this unfortunate visit, and thankfully, they’ve restored my faith. This place needs to get it together. Our room was over $500 for two nights.

Very happy with the Hampton Inn. Hotel is located in Tbe Domain, suburb of Austin about 15 minutes away from downtown. Located right off tollroad. (You do need a car to get downdown). Many restaurants nearby..but most close around 9 pm. It is reasonably priced compared to downtown hotels. Worth the money. The Hotel was clean and well-kept. Rooms are nice size. We had a king bed and a sofa pullout. Had a nice size fridge, not full-size but not mini. Only wish the room had a microwave, as they only have one in the lobby. They have coffee, tea available anytime. They have a hot breakfast buffet with typical items of eggs, oatmeal, muffins, waffles, cereal, etc. Our room was on the first floor, across from the laundry..which I was initially worried about noise, but didn't hear anything. It was convenient to the back exit/entrance, which you needed keycard to access. They have parking all around the hotel. Pur second night, it was completely booked and we had to park at Hotel next door. They also have an outdoor pool and a fitness room. Definitely would recommend and if we travel back to Austin, we would use agai.

What a wonderful and clean hotel with excellent staff! How refreshing to go into a clean hotel after a really long day and be greeted by the kindest staff who not only got us quickly checked in, she also was kind enough to help us get booked at a local state park and searched up local shops that my kids wanted to go to. The room was comfortable and the pool was clean. Hotel was quiet. Only slight complaint was that the elevators can get backed up, which led us to take the stairs. Other than that, stay was perfect!

Great place if you need the space to spread out. Room has 2 queen beds plus a pull out sofa bed. Great for larger families or kids that don’t want to sleep with siblings. Room had small bar sink in area with microwave and large dorms size refrigerator. While no door to separate beds from “living room”, the overall room was set up with the feel of 2 different spaces. Hotel itself had a clean and fresh feel. On the north side of town about 10 min from UT campus. Great for family visits with UT students. Particularity liked that didn’t have to deal with the I-35 traffic across the bridge since we were north of campus.

Marriott Lifetime Platinum and currently here in the hotel on a work trip. The location is the best imaginable and the service is good and consistent with the W brand (though some hiccups at check-in with the team not offering the Platinum perk options). The room is nice and overlooks the water making it super attractive and nice to wake up to. The WET Deck is also great - and while drinks are overpriced, it is a fun destination for both partying over the weekend and relaxation during mid-week sunset times. The problem was really at the Trace restaurant. I was having a breakfast with a collegaue ordering their Chorizo Omelette priced at $17 + tax and tip and not including coffee. the dish showed up with 2 clearly paced and horrifically visible pubic hairs in the dish, curling their way through the sauce. The kind waitress was called, apologized and took the dish - returning after 10 minutes with the dish and a kind quick apology. Clearly, not all the dish has been remade as the chorizo at this point was overcooked and the potatoes cold. No compensation, no offer for additional items, no attempt to cover the meal after trying to feed us hair from the chef's intimate parts for breakfast. Disgusting, unacceptable, and unprofessional from a hotel at this level.

A bit dated but clean facility nonetheless. Staff is helpful and friendly. After landing from flight out of CA and was looking forward to some real openness after COVID, this place reminds me of being stuck in SIP. I don’t mind the takeout breakfast, but the selection can definitely improved for what they charge. Banana, store bought muffins and breakfast bar, oatmeal packages, yogurt...how about so,e hard boiled eggs, more yogurt selection than just orange flavor? Maybe bagels and donuts? Even just milk and cereal would be welcomed by the kids...

After years of traveling, I have never stayed at a La Quinta and had such a poor experience. Typically, La Quinta is an easy “go to” when it’s late at night and you are looking for a quality place to stay. This hotel is very run down. The breakfast was nothing more than a couple of a small muffins, yogurt and pretty awful tasting coffee. The rooms were as clean as they could be, I suppose. The bed was decent. The shower pressure was good, although the knobs were messed up and I felt like I might fall through the tub. Make sure you bring shampoo, conditioner and other such items, as you won’t find any here. I have nothing bad to say about a hotel offering a budget experience that may look like this hotel, however, La Quinta should think hard about having this property as part of their brand.

Well this hotel has floored me in so many ways good and bad. Arrival/Reception After two cancelled flights and a hell of a journey from UK I couldn’t not face any bad customer service. The chap on Saturday evening (think called Jake) probably have me the best welcome I have had in any hotel globally. What an amazing young man. He made me feel happy to be here and I must say this chap talent with people needs to be recognised. Room The suite was spacious and very clean. Only downside no safe to store valuables. Pool Surprised to see holiday inn express with a pool a lovely add on. It is fine for what I wanted. Breakfast It’s free so I shouldn’t criticise. The amount of single use plastic made me sad and very disappointed that this hotel shows lack of care about the environment. Value for money Amazing value for money Now I will be back and back if only dealt with the plastic situation.

First off, this hotel is a bit dated and looks much better on the website than in reality. This was my first business trip since Feb 2020 and I was excited and nervous to be back on the road again. I had high expectations for this hotel and was disappointed. The club lounge was not open due to renovations so I got breakfast vouchers good for only up to $12. On my second of four nights there, the experience went from not great to worse. The hotel is set-up where an atrium is surrounded by the guest rooms. As a Marriott Titanium member, I was placed in a room where the front door was facing the atrium, more like a punishment rather than a gift for being a loyal Marriott customer. There was a loud, rambunctious group partying in the hotel bar. I contacted the front desk at around 10:15 PM about the noise and was told that quiet hours don’t begin until 11:00 PM. I had to call again at 11:20 PM as the quiet hour did not begin at 11:00 PM. It wasn’t until close to midnight that the group finally dissipated. The same thing happened on the third night and didn’t end until after midnight this time. The staff’s lack of attention and total disrespect to other paying guests by not addressing this matter is so unprofessional to me. I don’t plan to stay here again the next time I’m in town.

For a "4 star" hotel it was just average. Nothing major to complain about, but nothing exciting either. The main reason I chose this hotel was the location and also the advantage of having free parking. Location was nice and safe. It was also within walks to shopping malls and restaurants. There's also whole foods within half a mile if you want to grab some food and/ beverages to keep in the mini fridge in your room. There's no microwave in the room, but I think they have one available outside the rooms. The parking area can be pretty full after 6:00 pm so if you arrive late you may have difficulties finding a good spot. The rooms were clean and bedding was nice and comfortable. My unit was freezing cold when I arrived and I was not able to get it to warm up (this was in the middle of October). Once I notified the front desk, they sent maintenance guy and he had to get in the room to have it fixed. I thought maintenance was a bit unprofessional, he never bothered to wipe the desk he was using to place his tools on. He also ended up leaving one of his tool kit inside my room. I wiped the desk he was using with Lysol, and notified the front desk to come up and grab the tool kit. They never did. I ended up dropping it off on my way out shopping. These are very minor details that I wouldn't have bothered to write about if this place was not a "4 star" hotel. Over all it was just an "ok" stay.

I travel a ton and have stayed in all types of hotels across the IHG and Hilton portfolios. There's a huge spectrum of designs and experiences for hotels and I think each has its merits, but I don't think any is as purposeful and well designed as this Staybridge. It's not a fancy-shmancy place, but when I'm traveling with family and just want to relax, I'll take this over a Ritz any day. We stayed for the weekend for a family event: us and our 2 young kids, plus another 11 people across 4 other rooms. Check-in was easy enough, even though we showed up a couple hours early with a very cranky infant. Shantelle helped us get situated in another room that was ready before ours, which was a huge help. She was great throughout our entire stay. Simon Barnes was also very helpful before our stay with making sure we had the rooms that we needed and taking care of a helpful Spire upgrade. The suite design at Staybridge, and especially the use of 2-bedroom suites, is perfect. We were able to put our young kids in one bedroom (crib and bed), us sleep in another, and still have a living room available for socializing with family. Very functional, very nice. This location is perfect: an easy drive to 183 or Mopac, and within a mile of tons of great shopping and restaurants. Very convenient. The breakfast is good. Again, not fancy -- it's your basic cold stuff, plus some roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, yogurts, cereals, etc. -- but is everything you really need. Again, when you're 15 people, just having a place to chill out in the morning and start your day is good. And the service from Marcos was on par with any that I've experienced at higher end properties: he was on point asking us if we needed things, helping out where he could, etc. Just a very overall welcoming vibe from him. Everything was nicely set up for us to be able to enjoy our time there. Lots of space in the breakfast area for us to congregate, and it made a nice area for socializing later at night with a few beers. We were probably a little loud / annoying at times but I assume nobody complained about us so the staff never gave us a hard time. The back patio area, BBQ area, and fire pit are also great. We had an awesome time around the fire pit for a couple hours. The pool is nicely heated -- sufficiently warm that we'd actually have used it if we'd thought to bring swimsuits. This was just a stellar experience all around, a phenomenal value, and really made everyone feel at home for our few days there. We look forward to visiting again.

I’d never used this brand before and I picked it based on price and the fact it’s under the umbrella of Holiday Inn’s rewards system. Typically all-suite hotels don’t impress me because they cost more for services I don’t care about. Candlewood was a unique experience for they have tried to get rid of that cost and give the customer a small suit-like room. Personal choice leaves me happier with a smaller room and less cost cutting. I thought virtually everyone was serving a continental breakfast by now, but I found out this property certainly isn’t. They do have some microwave foods for sale but they are not doing free breakfast, and they don’t have many guest amenities ether for sale or complimentary either one. This property should be bought by the State of Texas and operated as a dormitory from the number of state cars that overnight there. The single biggest shortcoming for me over the whole stay was taking out the bathtub and putting back only a stand up shower. They have used an acrylic shower floor with sliding glass doors at floor level that don’t seal at all. Just one shower left me with enough water on the floor to start a swimming pool. Many hotels are trying to keep costs down by providing liquid rather than bar soaps and I just don’t like that. There was a facial bar on the vanity but virtually nothing else – bring your own. All suite hotels feel a need to put a couple range top burners in and I’ve seen many in my travels and never used even one. It’s my guess that keeping up with the Jones’ is the only reason for installing them. This property had put timers on the wall that had to be set before the burners will come on. I commend that fire safety effort as it prevents someone from doing something dangerous then walking out of the room leaving it to catch fire. There’s nothing anyone needs to heat on a range top that should take more than 1 hour, and this is a stroke of genius. They offer the guest a real refrigerator big enough to store enough food for a lengthy stay. They had an over the range microwave and range hood. I can’t tell you if the exhaust goes outside but most all-suite hotels don’t. The appliances were much better grade than I expect in an all suite hotel. In the cabinet are real salt and pepper shakers stuffed with those little salt and pepper packets given away by to-go eateries, which is very amusing. Why buy shakers if you’re going to do THAT with them? The bedding was just perfect, and there were a generous amount of towels in the room. The television was hung on the wall and they offer the guest a huge space to either serve a meal, or conduct business if needed. I did not check it but there were 4 ports in the room for wired internet (a dying breed) and they had Wi-Fi with very generous speeds. The room was clean clean clean, and all furniture and fixtures were new new new. I can’t say much bad about this place if you know what you’re buying before going in. As a matter of choice I’d rather
