|1.07km from city centerVery clean in the room ,incredibly friendly service ,I am delighted to stay in this place.Breakfasts are very delicious and in large quantities.The room is very well quiet, although the street is close to the street, nothing can be heard in the middle.In the elevator, which makes it easy to move Very close to the sea, entrance next to the famous bar Harbor 😁 For the service itself I will definitely return to this place 😉

Originally I never intended to stay in the area around Gdansk/Sopot, but due to bad weather, the ferry I rode on was delayed 6 hours and I could not find the energy to drive onward to Berlin. Therefore I booked a room at Radisson in Sopot as they seemed to have a parking. Well there, I got positively surprised by the hotel. It was so clean and on this Saturday evening, there was great live music in the lobby. The check-in was smooth and they quickly booked a table for me at the restaurant. However, they missed to notice my Premium Radisson Rewards membership, but it's fine anyhow. The food was delicious and well worth the price. The staff in the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and had very good recommendations in regards to drinks and food. The room was so clean I couldn't believe it - completely spotless. Super plus for that! The only con was guests in another room trying to ”refurnish” their room, with moving chairs being heard very loudly, apart from that the sound proofing was good. Then in the morning, the breakfast was amazing. Great quality cold cuts, fruits, great bread etc. Keep this good thing going! ^^ Overall, a great stay and I might return to try out the spa too.

Perfect location - very hear railway station (might be also a disadventage for some guests - some rooms have view straight on railway and from time to time it is loud …), next to the central walking street of Sopot, very close to many good breakfast places. Rooms are specious, also bathrooms are big with large showers. However still many improvements might be introduced - mattresses are not very comfortable, no king-size beds (2 single ones might be set together but just with bedsheet), no electric kettle, also cleaning of room might be better.

|1.5km from city centerFirst impression was very positive. Check-in was quick. Room although small was adequate and had everything that you needed ie. Comfy double bed and nice bed linen, desk and chair, I loved the comfy armchair which was a nice touch after a long days walk, bathroom was lovely and clean with a walk-in shower and fresh towels and bathrobe. An oversized bathrobe would however be nice:). Upon walking into the room there was a TV recording with a nice voice saying that „delektuje sie spokojem.. uspokoic oddech… „ itd. ( delecting in peace and quiet, and calmness) However this seemed to be an over promise:(. After entering the spa/pool area after 17:00 there seemed to be an aquapark for families and children:( . The atomosphere was very rowdy and not very relaxing:(. Also, the quiet zone „strefa ciszy” was not respected by guests. So overall the general „spa” feeling was not quite as expected. The rooftop terrace was nice. I decided to have the buffet dinner for 69zl and the food was very mediocre:(. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Overall, I would return however it would be appreciated if the management would define the hotel as an adult only spa or define specific hours for kids in the pool area.

However, the biggest plus was delicious food - both breakfast and dinner. If I had to get something attached, the bathroom in the room was a little bit small, and I could use to change the pillows for a little bigger. But overall stay was very successful, in addition quite affordable (we managed to buy a package with food and parking on the hotel website). Very recommended!!

As a high tier member of the All Accor loyalty program, my experiences at various properties have sculpted my expectations towards excellence. The Sofitel Grand Hotel in Sopot, a legendary landmark, unfortunately does not live up to its grandeur in several ways, and leaves room for improvement in others. Positives: - Prime Location: The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, offering easy access to the best of Sopot. Nestled conveniently, it stands as a gateway to the city's charms and fantastic views over the Baltic Sea. Exemplary Staff: True to the Sofitel brand, the staff here are the epitome of politeness and attentiveness. Their care and attention to detail made the stay significantly more comfortable. Sleep Like Royalty: The beds at Sofitel Grand Sopot are a dream. Offering fantastic sleep comfort, they ensured waling up refreshed every morning, ready to explore the city. Architectural and historical Marvel: The hotel itself is a legendary landmark, a piece of history that adds a certain prestige to one's stay. Its majestic facade is a sight to behold. Negatives or room for improvement: Ambiance Misses the Mark: The interior, though taking care in the best fashion possible clean, lacks the coziness and elegance one might expect from such a storied hotel. The decor feels somewhat out of step with the building's historic charm. Rooms Need a Touch-Up: While comfortable, the rooms are crying out for an upgrade. They don't quite match the luxurious standard set by other 5-star properties, particularly to mention the bathrooms. Spa with Potential: The spa, boasting a stunning sea view, unfortunately falls short in modernity. A revamp here could transform it into a truly world-class relaxation spot. Rethink Public Spaces: The lounge and other public areas of the hotel are in dire need of a conceptual overhaul. They should echo the grandeur and sophistication of the hotel’s exterior and prime location. In conclusion, while the Sofitel Grand Hotel Sopot excels in location, service, and sleep quality, it is somewhat let down by its interior aspects. As a loyal Accor traveler, I see great potential in this property and hope to see it reach its full, undeniable potential in the near future.

|0.22km from city centerWell, few years ago I stayed in REZYDENT hotel, which at this time was an independent hotel, not being part of Accord group. I was dissatisfied and for next stays at Sopot, I was choosing other hotels. And now, I spotted that now REZYDENT became part of MGallery chain, which I like very much, as these are elegant, usually boutique hotels. This was the reason, why I have decided to come back to REZYDENT, thinking that probably a lot of things from the past, which I disliked, was changed for better. Unfortunately NOT AT ALL. The only change which I recognized is a new design of the hotel’s lobby. At this is it !!! My room (117) being a superior one with a separate (theoretically) living room and bedroom, was looking 1:1 like in the old REZYDENT. The room is dark, as windows are facing interior lobby, with a limited access of a daylight. So almost all day you have to keep lights switched on. You can’t separate in the bedroom from the living room, as there are no … doors in between. AC - another issue. Rather loud and it is impossible to decide the desired speed of fan. Last but not least, for such an unpleasant experience I had to pay much more than quality offered in reality. So whoever will be the owner of REZYDENT in the future, I will never come back there again

Le petit déjeuner est varié et satisfait toutes les envies. Le personnel est très sympa. Le restaurant offre une très jolie terrasse verdoyante et agréable. La carte n’est pas sans fin mais propose des plats vraiment très bons et un service très attentionné. Piscine intérieure et spa sont à disposition. Le bar de l’hôtel est top avec une très belle carte. A recommander pour une visite reposante et plaisante de la région de Sopot. Merci à toute l’équipe. À bientôt.

|1.75km from city centerFab hotel in terms of facilities, modernness and cleanliness. Rooms were very cosy and spacey, and the whole hotel area gives a nice vibe. The roof top was pool and bar was fab, great with the 16+ limit for us travelling as adults with no children (especially since the spa downstairs was filled with children and felt more like an aqua park). The gym was small, but ok for a quick work out. Very disappointing experience in the restaurant where they would not offer me gluten free pizza or pasta, in spite that I had called and checked about this before we ordered our stay. When I then commented I should get about lunch dish for the same price, the waiter used 15 minutes to come back with to us with the message that she would bring her manager. After another 15 minutes with nothing happening, we left and had lunch elsewhere. Also, there where no allergi markings at breakfast, very disappointing at such a big and modern hotel. Top location by the public beach and walk way along the beach, which is pleasant to use when walking into the centre for better restaurants than the hotel can offer.

|0.69km from city centerVery good hotel with good breakfast & great location very near the pier and the beach. We stayed during summer so there were lots of activities going on in the street. Pubs/discos/restaurants kept on with music till 02.00 at night which could be annoying if you are a light sleeper.. Howeever, the worst thing for us was the singer who used to start playing around 02.00 and kept it going till 05.00 in the morning. He had amplifier and microphone and could be heard far better than we could like. It ruined Friday and Saturday nights for us. It is strange that this much ”noice” is allowed during night time.

|0.34km from city centerAccommodation in a very good location. Near Monciak. A big convenience is access to an iron and a steam iron. The big and comfortable bed was a plus, but unfortunately it was a bit dirty, which spoiled the atmosphere. Of course, it wasn't terribly dirty, but dirty walls, skirting boards and cobwebs on the walls spoiled the overall experience. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the accommodation and if there is an opportunity to visit Sopot again, I will choose this hotel again
