The environment is good, the room is quite big, the bathroom is quite big, the facilities are good, the business is not, not luxury.

We came for 6 nights at the Junior suite with a baby. We travel abroad 4-5 times a year for long stays and this is our 4th trip to NL. We send an email to reception team twice and also through the booking.com system and no one bothered to reply. On the first day no one helped with the luggage and when we asked for help they directed us to use the cart to carry it ourself. Reception team don't smile or look at you. There is no concierge. There is no security system for going up to the room floors (the hotel has many guests from outside to restaurants and ******). Breakfast is OK but if something is finished at the buffet you need to wait a long time. Also it is the same every day. No one serves you coffee you need to stand in line. Asked for omelets made from fresh eggs and blamed for being liars for staying with a baby. Sorry but as paying costumers we prefer something fresh and reliable and not some egg batter from a dirty container. Housekeeping team is nice but could get better. We asked several times to put a larger sheet on the bed because it is too small but they don't do it. The worst thing happened to us now as we came back from a long day outside, showered and washed the baby and when we used the clean towels they had awful smell of cigarettes! What is that supposed to be? We never experienced anything like this. We had to shower again and wait for them to get more towels. No word or card mentioned regarding my birthday. Baby bed is in terrible condition. She sleeps with us. Location is convenient. Room is too dark. Bathroom is nice. Toilet is weird located far from the bathroom and there is no place to put soap near the sink. Also they put the extra toilet paper on the toilet brush instead of getting proper hanger. No where to put a towel. TV is slow. Wifi is slow. Not original nespresso coffee. We had to buy capsules in town. No room service menu. It's OK for a short visit for Efteling but don't expect 4* service. Stayed in much better hotels around Europe.

I was supposed to celebrate my birthday at Auberge du bonheur and booked a quiet room because I unfortunately suffer from severe migraines. I suffer from cluster migraines and brainstem aura migraines. Such a severe pain that paracetamol doesn’t help. I have to take heavy pain medication. The room was on the ground floor by the reception and anything was but quiet. I already missed my birthday dinner, which they could have offered in the room, especially for my friend who should eat too. But nothing was offered or suggested. We were on our own. The noise at night was so bad that on Christmas Day I missed my day at the fairytale park the Efteling. At 9:00 we were supposed to talk to the manager to discuss our horrible experience at the hotel and all the noice that kept me awake all night and vomiting from the migraine nausea. Not only my birthday was already ruined, now my day at the Efteling was gone too. I took my migraine medicine at 9:00, because it is of extreme importance to sleep ASAP. At 12:00 we still were waiting for the manager. My migraine grew out to a brainstem migraine where I get a transient TIA and lose consciousness. I fell 3 times as I was trying to walk to the reception to see the manager. I was bleeding by this time. Instead of showing compassion and empathy I was threatened to be thrown out of the hotel and have the police called. The manager was not even the manager but a chef. A very rude chef, the least to say, and what a horrible thing to pretend you are the manager of the hotel. The manager was apparently not there, or refused to come. On their website this room was advertised as a quiet and a peaceful room. It was quite the opposite, noisy all night with voices of quests walking by our room and slamming doors of other rooms. Because of this I had to take double medication, oxycodon and lorazepam to sleep and calm down. My whole Christmas experience was ruined by this. In return I got one night refunded. But I have not been able to verify that. We lost our tickets to the Efteling. And now we are at home, without a Christmas experience, no Christmas dinner, no Efteling Christmas experience. I would suggest this hotel refunds all my cost including the trauma this cost me. Please never go to this hotel if you expect peace, service, politeness and friendliness. Simply stay away!!!!!

Too bad, we did not even stay the second night. Where to start? Some staff was nice others not at all. Nobody cares, except if you come to gamble, then the best parking spaces are yours. Now the room. Ours was too small, too warm (one window could open a bit, the other not at all) beds are like camping beds, too soft and warm, synthetic mattress and or covers. The first night we found out the room was simply infested with mosquitoes we tried to sleep but that was impossible. The next morning we had bites all over our body and my wife found out they mostly nested in the curtains, We told the staff and they did try with a vacuum, which maybe helped a bit. But the next evening we could not face another night like that, we did not dare to open the window again, and it was very warm in our little room. Tea making set placed where the plug does not fit into the socket and those terrible beds... we decided to leave right away and not spend the night that we paid for. In my many years of travelling, this was a first!!! I expected the ill tempered lady to ask if they was anything wrong, but she did not care to ask. Maybe she knew the answer? "Alstublieft" I said polity and handed the keycard. "Dank je wel" was her answer. I must add the breakfast was very good (so two stars) and we will never, ever spend a night here again.

The Rotterdam Hilton is more than a thousand points a night. The room is very spacious and the decoration is very elegant. Although the facilities are not very new, I don’t understand it. Why don’t the Dutch use the domestic Philips TV set and use the LG of the Kimchi country? Hotel location is good, 10 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, behind the hotel is the shopping center, walking to the arched market box house is only 15 minutes. The scenery outside the window is good, although it faces the main road, it is not noisy. The breakfast is rich, but mainly based on Western food, the dining environment is comfortable. The downside is that if you don't pay attention, you will be connected to the VIP network. Of course, you have to pay.

The parking lot is a little inconvenient, but you can park your car in the hotel’s 200 public parking lot. The parking fee can be paid at the hotel information desk for 20 euros for 24 hours. The shower design is not suitable for children and can not be removed when fixed on the wall. The other is satisfied and the room is very spacious. The service is also very good. Originally we had the opposite of the premier suites plus, the flight was cancelled and the first day failed to check in. We were told that our room was cancelled and the prepayment hotel refused the refund. At that time, I contacted Ctrip to help us change Marriott. Marriott's service is obviously more. Give a look at the premier suites plus here, this hotel really resists people!

This is the first hotel we stayed on this business trip, and the only one with breakfast. Breakfast is buffet, relatively simple, almost the same choice every day. The buns are delicious, with some slices of ham and cheese, and a fruit salad. I like the milk cereal area. I make a bowl of chocolate milk cereal every morning, but the milk is not too hot. Breakfast is full. Check-in on the first day, because I arrived earlier, I waited until 6 o'clock until 11 o'clock, I couldn't check in because the rooms were not cleaned up. After leaving the Rotterdam Central Station, turn left and go through 2 small intersections. The facade is small. It rains in the dark. It is not easy to find. It is easy to find during the day. Close to the train station, the transportation is convenient, and there are many shopping malls around, but the same things are much more expensive than those in Germany. There is no wardrobe, it is open, and the hanger cannot be taken off. Bring your own toiletries and slippers, but have a kettle. The heating is good, neither cold nor hot, and the temperature is the most comfortable in the three homes.

First of all, I was completely attracted by the appearance of this hotel when I picked the hotel. I accidentally saw the work of OMA Design Office. I feel good and recommend staying. The design is relatively simple and has extremes. Some people say that "too transparent" feels can be seen outside every move, just pull the curtains, the room view is great, especially the sunrise and sunset, the staff is very polite and professional, and it is not ignored for the Chinese And other phenomena. There is Tram downstairs, which is convenient to go anywhere, originally Rotterdam is not big. There is a "Happy Italy" recommended downstairs, coffee and bread for breakfast and a few glasses of wine and beer for dinner. All in all a pleasant stay ~

It doesn't feel as good as it was written in the evaluation, the facilities are average, and the rooms are generally not too big. The location is remote and suitable for driving there, parking is free, this is rare. There are stains on the sheets, I don’t know if they have not been changed or washed, and the sofa is not clean, so the sanitary condition feels very average. The service was very good. Someone came to repair the refrigerator immediately. Because of the epidemic, there was no breakfast, so there was no way to comment.

The location is very good, go straight out from the train station and walk for about 15 minutes. All the way along the river, pulling the box in the past will not be too painful. It’s also very convenient to go to the downtown box house. You can walk (Rotterdam is too suitable for walking, there are surprises everywhere). The hotel reception is very polite. We have all the rooms in the past few days, and we have given a room on the first floor, but it would be better if we could live on a high floor. The room is not particularly new, but the comfort is very high, the room is large, the bed is comfortable, and there is a kettle~ Breakfast is plentiful, croissants and a variety of small breads are delicious. After visiting the city numerous times over the last couple of years, I genuinely consider the Thon Hotel Rotterdam the best hotel in order to trully enjoy a safe and convenient stay, at least from my point of view. The main reason for that is the location. Near enough to the center of the city so as to visit stores/shops or places to eat (mainly around Witte de With or Markthal - 10 minutes on foot), yet in a very quiet neighbourhood ideal for strolls or even long walks. Even when I have about half an hour to spare, I particularly enjoy walking to the gorgeous Het Park or crossing the bridge for an opposite view of the city. Moreover, most museums are near the hotel and it always feels very safe even after midnight/early morning. I have stayed in a variety of rooms at the Thon Hotel and they all share a spectacular view and I would recommend the Riverview suite in order to get the most of it, at a fair price, again in my opinion. In addition, the Hotel is clean and everyone at the reception is polite and helpful. What is more, there is a metro station nearby or a tram line (no7), connecting the hotel to Rotterdam Centraal station. I would definately recommend the Thon Hotel Rotterdam to those that seek a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We stayed in a family room. It was excellent-spacious, well-equipped and clean. A nice touch was a night-light which creates a kind of night sky on the ceiling of the room in varying colours and patterns. A lounge on the 2nd level exists where you can eat take away food or ordered food and also have breakfast (available from the 24h mini market on a pay-per-item basis). This was very convenient. The location is ideal if you need to be downtown Rotterdam. Parking is available on-site but you need to reserve in advance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little difficult to find, the building is quite narrow and unassuming from the outside and there is just a small sign on the side. For a hotel of its class it is excellent, we would stay here again without hesitation.
