Boutique hotel located walking distance from Canal St Martin, Place de la République and Belleville. Staff are polite and helpful, check in and check out was an easy process. The room is a little small for a couple but being on my own, I was not fussed. Rooms are well furnished and I liked the fact their was a USB socket in the room so I could charge my phone without needing a two pin plug. Bed was comfortable and warm. There is a bright light that comes from the TV when on standby but this can be corrected by unplugging it. Desk in room is just a slither of plastic and would not be sufficient if you had to do any work or wanted to put a plate on it. The lobby area is decorated in a retro style and looks great. Complimentary coffee, water (flat and sparkling) and pastries are a fantastic touch. Rue Parmentier can get a bit noisy at night but that may have been due to an increase in traffic due to the metro strikes.

I got a good deal on this room through Priceline. Checked into my room and unpacked. After being in my room for a bit, the bathroom door handle broke and I couldn’t get it back open. I alerted the staff, and they came in the room to try and fix it. It took quite some time, and eventually I had to switch rooms to another floor. I had to re pack and relocate. They offered me an upgraded room at an additional cost of €30 euro a night. I asked if there was anything the hotel could offer for the inconvenience, and they said no. When checking out, there was a nearly €30 euro room charge which was for the coffee I drank each morning in the cafeteria, which I specifically was told I wouldn’t be charged for. When I asked the front desk guy about this charge, he said I should have been told about the charge, but the two previous desk people did not tell me about this. I felt very disappointed with all of this. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t go out of their way to resolve any of this for me. The rooms are very small. Though they are clean. I would not recommend this hotel due to my experience. The location was not close to anything good, and they definitely didn’t go out of their way to make my unpleasant experience better. I’m not typically the type to try and get something for nothing, and I was very friendly when trying to resolve the issues, but the staff was inconsistent and unwilling to do anything extra to make up for their miscommunications.

We stayed here a while ago and there was a really rude effeminate receptionist who seemed annoyed that he had to greet guests. The rooms were so ugly and uninspired. You would think they would put some effort into beautiful linens as it is one of the fashion capitals of the world. I saw better rooms in the Hampton Inn in the States, sadly. Our room had a mustard yellow blanket, ugly carpeting and was just generally an unpleasant experience. I would not stay at Ibis hotels again. This was my first experience with them and I was turned off. There was no tasteful decoration, it felt like a budget motel in the states-and this is Paris-embarrassing for them! So many cities come before Paris in beauty and design in Europe. Paris does not make the top 5 and it is because so many hotels like this one fail miserably in creating ambience. Istanbul and Venice are the most beautiful cities in Europe.

My husband, my best friend and I stayed overnight at Le Citizen on our way back to London from Bordeaux. We wanted to stay near the Canal Saint Martin as it was an area we had not yet seen in Paris. Tripadvisor reviews lauded this little gem and we decided it was the place for us. The young staff couldn't have been more welcoming to us older and weary travellers. They were helpful, spoke excellent English, and made us feel at home. Yes the rooms and bathrooms are small, as you so often find in Paris, but we loved our room overlooking the Canal. The location allowed us to explore as much of the area as we could in the 24 hours, and we did manage to see quite a bit. We loved the little breakfast area and the coffee was great. Overall we were delighted with our stay and are happy to recommend Le Citizen to others.

Upon arrival the lady at the reception seemed very uninterested to say the least, she spoke a maximum of 5 words to us despite me having said I speak French. We knew that the French could be a tad arrogant, but hotel staff? Really? Staff (including breakfast staff) was very rude and uninterested. When checking out on the last day, the lady just said “K. Bye.” Nothing like “I hope you enjoyed your stay!” or anything. She seemed more than happy we were leaving. Also, it seemed strange that this one reception clerk suddenly asked us to leave our key without explaining why (the other two didn’t ask). We knew Parisian hotels are tiny, but pictures of the room were obviously taken with a very wide angled lens. The bed was bit small for two adults, it was also quite short (boyfriends feet stuck out). The elevator was despicable, two adults didn’t fit in there, let alone any luggage! The matras itself however was comfortable. Pillows were extremely thin, as well as the “duvet”. Despite having turned the heater off completely and having a very thin duvet, it was extremely hot in the room. We weren’t comfortable opening the windows at night because of the noice and because of safety. We had booked a deal which included breakfast. We read that breakfast normally costs €12, that’s definitely way overpriced. There wasn’t enough food, the mini croissants and bread ran out quickly. The cake was very old, dry and there generally wasn’t much variety. The bathroom... My god! If you’re over 1.80m , you won’t be able to properly use the toilet. The shower was extremely cramped, you couldn’t shave your legs or use showergel without opening the doors (which would result in a very wet bathroom floor). We did however get clean towels (which were comfortably soft) and toilet paper every day. The room was fairly clean, I did however find a large pile of dust underneath the bed (which explains the constant sneezing). The walls were thin, we could hear the “neighbors” showering. The area around the hotel has got lots of bars and restaurants, metro stations are located conveniently and you can get anywhere pretty quickly (when the staff are not on strike). We felt bad for the homeless people sleeping out in the cold a couple meters from the hotel entrance. They weren’t bothering anyone though. We visit Paris every year, but we most likely won’t be returning to hotel Beaurepaire.

Hotel location in front of Republic Square, Paris 11th district, I think it is safe, there is a subway station at the entrance of the hotel, very convenient, there is a bus stop for sightseeing cars, it is also very convenient for free travel! 20 minutes walk from Galeries Lafayette shopping mall, about 100 o'clock by taxi! The hotel has breakfast, parking is not very convenient, the hotel can be short-term pause, but the hotel's sign is not very easy to find, but also a black house number, I got off the bus and asked the guests standing at the door to know. There is a Chinese restaurant near the hotel called Penglai, the owner of Hong Kong, very delicious, eating in the three days of Chinese food in Paris, walking in 5 minutes.

I have always had a good stay at an Ibis, though I do my research as some seem better than others. This one was excellent. Nice and clean room, friendly staff, excellent location near the Metro. I was there for a week, but I never had their breakfast as, well, it's Paris. There are plenty of excellent places nearby. If you are not used to city noises, you might find the place a bit loud. It is right off a major thoroughfare. However, I slept fantastic. The Wi-fi was good, and the shower terrific as well. I found a cheap place to do my laundry around the corner. Perhaps, most importantly, the A/C was terrific as I was there when the temperature was over 40 Celsius.

This was our first trip to Paris and it was amazing . We went to celebrate our 25 th anniversary!! The Hotel Gabriel was a wonderful place to stay - The hotel staff were delightful - so friendly and very accommodating to all our questions and concerns. We always felt like we were their number one priority. All of their advice and suggestions were always great ! We truly felt like they were there for us - language was never an issue and every day we had conversations with both the staff working the front desk and the staff at breakfast . We will me the cheerful bonjour and bon soir every day !!! Breakfast was perfect and so appreciated as it is included in the room cost - this is a great perk . The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel looked exactly like the pictures - the neighborhood was amazing with so many restaurants and friendly people too . Close to the metro and easy to navigate around the city from here . I would highly recommend and I would definitely go back !! Miss them already - it was truly like a home away from home .

I had the now rare experience of needing to find a room on the day of my stay, on foot, in a new city. In a world of hotel-chains and impersonal online-bookings, this task seems all the more unusual and difficult. And truly, on that day I walked out of multiple hotels having discovered (often with a harsh and unnecessary guffaw) that they were booked, over-priced, or had slipped into a state of decadence in the opportunity of a dispassionate functionalism. Yet! The moment I entered Albert's Hotel I discovered a place which demonstrated aesthetic and hygienic care; a space composed by a hand connected to a sympathetic and generous mind. And most substantially, the kind voices and welcoming eyes that can make any person feel at home, anywhere on Earth. As such, I would like to commend and thank immensely the hotel receptionist working the morning of my arrival. I believe her name is spelled 'Adja' and I hope that if I am incorrect the hotel will respond by correcting me. Adja treated me as if welcoming me to her home, as an equal, and with the attention, listening and reactions of someone who knows that each one of us deserves not only kindness, but to be encouraged and matched to the height of our potential as we make our journey. I will always go back to Albert's Hotel because of how I felt while I was there; connected, human. This was achieved by the hotel's care to keep the space clean, a constitution and design sympathetic to the guest and a reception worthy of the best.

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and clean, new, and the public order is good. The hotel lobby is a glass sliding door. You need to swipe your room card to enter. The room was flat with 2 large boxes without pressure. The toilets are also very large. There are 2 sets of L'Occitane in a house, and a large bottle of mineral water is given away. Walk to the LV main store for 2 minutes, and make early purchase without pressure. It only takes 2 minutes to the Hermes George Avenue branch, and Bulgari is also nearby. If you want to buy luxury goods, you can put it back in the hotel before you continue. Do n’t worry about safety. 7-8 minutes walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. The only bad thing is that the front desk called me at 10 o'clock in the morning on the day of check-out. This is a bad experience ... The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport. The hotel said the price was basically the same. The cafeteria and gym are located in B1. There is a Royal Treasure in the hotel, not sure if it is the same as Shanghai.

Such a great experience to be here. Easy to get to from the train station. Actually all subways in Paris are easy to navigate. The hotel is really close to everything, Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triumph. And lots of Brasseries. Markets, bakeries and coffee shops. A safe neighbourhood. The room was great. Very comfortable beds. A breakfast is only $10EU each daily, far more cost effective than buying outside the hotel. Save your money for lunch or dinner. Lovely staff, so very friendly and helpful. This is a family owned and managed hotel. We'll go back here for sure.

I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Paris in the 1990s. I continued to stay there every year until 2005, when I stopped traveling to Europe for a few years. In 2018 I returned to Paris and Hotel Emile under its new ownership. They had really done a lot to spruce up the hotel even before COVID 19. My husband and I love this hotel because of its great location. The metro is just across the street. There is a great cafe downstairs on the corner and a grocery store, pastry shop, boulangerie, fromagerie, librarie, etc. all within less than a 10 min walk. It is on the edge of the Marais, the best place in Paris for night time wanderings, in my opinion. And best of all, the hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a real warmth and family feeling at the hotel. I wouldn't change Hotel Emile for the Hotel Charles V!

A very cute hotel. We were in the bottom room, with windows that opened to the street. It was a little loud first thing in the morning or when other guest were rowdy due to being located right next to the lobby, but overall that was only the most minor of things we noticed. The bathroom was fantastic- heat towel rack, quality products, wonderful hot water/high pressure. Lots of closet/storage space. Seperate WC. the room was larger than we expected as well. Front desk was so friendly- greeted us each time we arrived, and were able to provide us ice on request (I tore my acl just before the trip, so needed ice regularly after a day of touring). I loved the writing desk in the morning sun- although the view was of the sidewalk, the transparent curtains we perfect for allowing in light while softening the view. The windows both had shutters inside to block out light/sound, and enough still space you could sit and read a book. Location was ideal...the Montmartre area is wonderful. Very close to the Blanche metro line, a short walk to two others. Although just two blocks from Moulin Rouge, absolutely no issues with noise or crazy crowds at night- in fact, it meant some great street food places were open late! Very near to bakeries, fruit stands cheesemonger, easy to grab something quick if you needed. Several cafes a stone throw away with perfect breakfasts and coffee. Near to Van Gough's apartment. A beautiful stroll to the love wall, sacred heart, dali museum and artist square- and thays with me being hobbled with my completely torn ACL! There is a secret food tour that starts and ends in the same area as the hotel to give you an idea of how wonderful all the nearby choices are for eating. 12/10 stay, would definitely stay at this location again. Beautiful location, beautiful service, beautiful city.

Lovely and clean hotel conveniently located just below Montmartre. The staff is very nice and helpful and managed to resolve all questions I might have had. The decor is quite nice, it has a cozy feeling. The breakfast is quite lovely, nice selection of french goodies, so definitely a plus. The only downside is reflected in the location: if you go to central Paris, you often go small for this price. So a single room gets the fun part of not being able to properly unpack my small hand luggage and the elevator is definitely designed for slender crowd. Would recommend and would stay again.

Excellent location, with 5, 6, 7 subways crossing. The room is small and basically adequate. For Chinese guests, the biggest benefit is that it is close to the Chinese community, Chinese restaurants and supermarkets have more choices, and apartment hotels with kitchens can also cook their own meals. The disadvantage is that the front desk of the hotel is slightly rigid. The air conditioner in my room does not heat, and the warranty for 2 days has not been resolved. The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway station. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, take the RER line B to Denfert-Rochereau, change line 6 to Cambrinne, exit the station and walk past the traffic lights. The road on the left can see the Ibis hotel sign. There is no elevator or escalator on this section of the subway line 6 of Denfert-Rochereau. You have to carry your luggage up and down. Do not take Line 6 when returning. From the hotel, take a taxi to Denfert-Rochereau (approximately 7 minutes, 19 euros, 20 yuan). Denfert-Rochereau has an elevator to the airport RER line, so you do n’t have to carry your luggage up and down Off! Taxi in Paris is expensive, if the locals are at the airport-hotel, take a taxi to and from it * o * Next to the subway station there is a bakery and a small shop selling Kebab (Kebab, Middle Eastern food), which are all delicious! (Put a few photos of Kabab Kebab). The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is spacious with Cafe and bar. If you can't sleep at night, you can go downstairs for a cup of coffee or a small wine, which is very comfortable. The room is small, 12 square meters. The Ibis conditions are quite good, but the surrounding environment is too bad. When we heated the food at the front desk, because of the large amount of luggage, we managed poorly. We didn’t know when someone had taken a bag and was stolen some cash. One person ran back sweating and said that he saw someone taking our bag and he was chasing it back. Then we checked that the cash was gone. But the two of us were too stupid, and thanked each other. Later, the people around me should be the thief... Then we contacted the hotel right away, the hotel expressed anger, but we finally had no right to monitor even the monitoring, who did not know who to take How to get it, can't recover it. Advantages. - Situated on Rue de Lyon near railway station. Close to Ledru Rollin metro station. Not far from Bastille square. - Hotel is very fresh because of its transformation from Adriatic Hotel to Locomo Hotel. Disadvantages - I payed for my stay a week before and had confirmation. But when I came to hotel, I needed to pay extra costs (taxes) - plus 5,64 euro. It could be more convenient to pay once, not two times. - Sound insulation could be better – you hear what your neighbor doing. Two nights I often was awake because of sounds of conditioner which switched on and off. - The outlet in the bathroom was poorly mounted. It was obvious after finishing drying hair. Also cabin walls were not convenient. - Not convenient elevator due to extra ladder steps on ground floor and upper floors Also I could not immediately find hangers but there were in the room. So I found them a little bit later. But I was satisfied with the hotel despite these disadvantages

I picked this hotel because I was flying into Paris one evening and needed to put my daughter on an early morning train the following day at the Gare de Lyon. We didn't want to be far from the Gare so I chose this hotel because it was right next to the station. As you leave from the station's main exit, it is about 1 and 1/2 city blocks to the left. I requested a standard room with two beds and our room had separate beds, was spacious, exactingly clean and was on the fifteenth floor which meant that we had an incredible view of Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the distance to the right. The Seine was right in front of us. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I've lived in New York for many years and I couldn't imagine in my wildest dreams having similarly nice lodgings one block from NYC's Penn Station. The staff was courteous and helpful. The nightly rate was very reasonable. If I ever need a hotel for a one night stay in Paris I would definitely return here.
