Check-in was very easy and all of the front desk staff were knowledgable and kind. The hotel is clean and modern however rooms are small which is to be expected. A king sized bed in a "Superior Room", overlooking the street with 2 large windows. Recommend no more than two suitcases. We brought a sound machine which blocked out any noise from the bar downstairs on late nights. You are very close to two metro stations, and there's a ton of food in the area. The neighborhood is definitely young, and there's quite a bit of nightlife around the corner from the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again, and would recommend it if you plan to be out of your room most of the day and go to bed a little later at night. Also, a complementary breakfast was provided as a seasonal offer and we took advantage of that (variety of coffee, tea, juices, cereal, croissants, breads, cheeses, meats, and eggs).

You get what you see in the hotel photos with this Ibis property and that's a good thing. Clean, reasonably well appointed room, comfortable, and most important of all, quiet overnight! I slept with my window open (hallelujah, a hotel with opening windows!) and was not disturbed at all, even with all the Halloween shenanigans going on around me. The room has a desk, a television with cable (although there are only news channels in English - common in Europe but disappointing nevertheless), and a place to hang clothes. Be warned, they are not large rooms, but that's to be expected in Paris. It was fine for me on my own but if two of us were trying to open our suitcases that would have been challenging. The bathroom has shampoo/bodywash, a fixed hairdryer (which gets very hot in the hand so had to be used in stages to dry my hair). The shower doesn't have a door so there can be some overflow onto the floor if you aren't careful and don't angle the showerhead properly. It also has two very flimsy plastic cups, one of which broke when I tried to open it (oops!) I didn't chose to have breakfast included in my room - why would you with Paris's plethora of excellent boulangeries and cafes at your doorstep? Don't even think twice, don't get the hotel breakfast - you will only be disappointed! Get out there and try some real Parisian culture. The reception staff were pleasant and were able to put a few items of mine into fridge overnight which wasn't a bother. They also looked after my bags for a few hours both before check-in and after check-out. NB Check-in is from 12noon but I was told best not to return before 1pm so don't bank on having access to your room bang on midday. There is a small bar area where you could wait reasonably comfortably though and from where you can access the hotel's wifi. The hotel is well situated near the Ledru-Rollin metro station, a large Monoprix, a Marks & Spencer foodhall, and lots and lots of all things Paris (cafes, brasseries, boulangeries, small grocers, churches, gardens, etc). A good place to be based from. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again if all I needed was a place to sleep. If I wanted a room to hang out in for any length of time I'd look for a hotel with bigger rooms (and a far heftier price tag!) NB at the moment there is work going on in the hotel during the day which was annoying but only because I was jetlagged and needed an afternoon nap. Also, when unthoughtful guests let their doors slam it can be heard easily through one's sleep! Otherwise it was very quiet.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We chose to come back after a good experience last year when we chose it for its convenient location to Atelier des Lumieres where we have now seen both the Klimt and Van Gogh spectacles. This year our room was on the first floor - Room 101 - which looks onto the cafe opposite and is a great position for people watching. The bed was very comfortable and although the shower cubicle is pretty small the water pressure is good providing a great shower. There was not a lot of space for hanging up clothes but for a long weekend (3 nights) it was fine. The concierges at the front door were friendly and helpful - sorting out a very reasonably-priced transfer to CDG during the difficult transport strikes. We did not take breakfast but used the 1 EURO coffee service on offer at reception which was very welcome. The hotel is in a great location (even better when transport is running properly!) and there are lots of really good eateries nearby. The cafe opposite (La Belle Equipe) has a good atmosphere and has live music which we were happy to hear from our room when we left the window open. Closed, the street sounds were not intrusive.I would be happy to make this my go to hotel in Paris.

Good things : very well located ! Just next of Bastille metro station from when you can go everywhere .. clean bedroom, comfortable bed , good shower ! Rare for Paris :) . People from the front desk vey nice and helpful ! Located in a very animated street with a hundred of options you can go for a dinner or a drink just around the corner ! Negative things : cause the hotel is located Next to a very animated street with a lot bars and restaurant .. by night can be very noisy and Is not easy to sleep at least you close the window because they has double glass but I don't recommend it during the spring or summer 😅because the room doesn't have air conditioner . I recommend bringing earplugs with you. Quite expensive for what it offers: small room, claustrophobic elevator , without useful facilities , no breakfast included etc . but if you've been in Paris before you'll know this is nothing new at all ..

It is a very pleasant accommodation in Paris. It consists of several separate rooms with each two sharing one bathroom. There’re two levels where the rooms are located. They all are very nice “parisienic” decorated - it’s not just simple rooms with crawling sand walls but with french-motifs trims. It all creates harmonic paris atmosphere of home. There’s one more big dining room for a big number of people (at least 13) for common dinners gathering around one big table. To take a comfortable rest you can either in your own room or in a tiny sitting room next to the dining room. It has TV, audio system etc.The Apartments are great not in common but in its small features. Some old furniture adds some charm to the place where you stay. The operator of the accommodation Sophie is very helpful and nice - she even helped with the visa issue for the members of our group. Thank you so much! The apartments are situated next right to Bastile, one of the central and historical regions of Paris. Even at the time of long strikes it was easy to take a short walk to the metro and to reach main sightseeings by it, because the 1st metro line is autonomous. The rooms are made up every day except Sundays. Everything is done in time and very carefully. The rooms are always clean.I would recommend Madison Chanzy to all people who wants to enjoy Parisian way of living while the stay in this beautiful royals city.

It´s close to the Bastille square and the Metro, one that was running in spite of the strike that put most of the communications on hold for weeks. We didn´t get to use our carnet - Metro tickets as planned, most annoying. Anyway the hotel was clean with tiny rooms and helpful staff. We didn´t try the breakfast that was 9 Euro each. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, convenient stores and such in the area. I would choose the Marais area again for sure.

If you can, don’t live in the city center. At this price, you can’t live in a good hotel.

After my nightmare the night before at Mercure Saint Ouen, I did not expect much as this Mercure was another one in the city centre of Paris. Nevertheless, I got there and they actually had parking available! It was a box that was really small and smelt bad but I managed to get my car inside and that is all that I needed. All of the ladies at reception were wonderful, helpful and nice. We could actually have a couple of laughs. I was given a Privilege room - on check out she said not related to my Accor card as they did not have the number on file (I need to have a serious chat with my Companys travel agency). The room was really nice, clean and perfect for one night. I arrived early so I worked, ordered food (no room service but you can either use Deliveroo or in my case, UBER eats). The location is near Bastille so fairly central. The AC did not work either. They sent a nice gentleman around to see if anyone turned actually the heating on (which may screw with the AC) but the issue was not fixed. But - listen and learn Mercure Saint-Ouen - they gave me a very big fan which did the trick. I could say that the elevator was slow, I could complain about no gym or "hotel" room service but I won't. Because the staff was really nice, helpful and fun so here you go Mercure Paris Bastille Saint Antoine: 5 points! Thank you very much!

We stayed at this hotel because we wanted to be close to the Gare de Lyon as we were going to Disneyland. The station is less than a 10 minute walk away which proved to be ideal with the train to disneyland going direct to this station. On our second day in Paris, we checked out at 12pm and decided to walk around instead of getting the metro. All of the main tourist attractions are easily accessible, we walked about 25 minutes to Notre Dame and made our way to the Arc de Triomphe all in all it took about 3 hours but we were able to see a lot more of Paris. The hotel itself was clean and provided a good base. We checked in around midnight and we were greeted by a man who didn’t seem pleased we were late. The lift is a maximum of four people and therefore it is very small and rickety. ‘The courtyard’ and ‘bar and lounge’ that are advertised are very small and breakfast was a extra charge we didn’t opt for. Our room was 106, this meant we looked out onto the street. The room itself was big enough, however there was some very strange decor. Bath was a little bit grubby and the bathroom itself was small but it did provide us with everything we needed. All in all, I would recommend this hotel as a base if you were wanting to be close to the station and if you didn’t mind travelling about 20-25 in to Paris. Special mention to Boulangerie versavelle petite classe which is a small bakery about 5 minutes away!

It was a great experience. The entire staff are so nice. They made me truly feel as a family guest. They were knowledgeable and helpful. The location is perfect where many attractions and services are within walking distance, including a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores. A metro station is just a few feet away where you can be connected anywhere in Paris. The room is very nice. It was always kept clean with all the necessary amenities. Wi-Fi connection was easy and reliable for the entire visit.

My husband and I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the Metro and also because we wanted to stay in the 11th. We booked the privilege Room and while we couldn't get the exact Room number we wanted, the room provided was clean and nicely sized. We had a king size bed, in-room safe and a refrigerator to store our booze. If there is one complaint I would have it is that because we were so close to the elevator we could hear the incessant clicking as we tried to sleep. It wasn't a deal breaker but I would certainly choose a room that was not directly next to the elevator in the future. I would not mind staying at this property again. It was very close to plenty of bistros and boulangeries so we had no problems getting an early morning or late night meal. The DIRECT access to the Metro (Voltaire) made it easy to get around Paris. With so many hotels to pick from it can be overwhelming to try to find a place to stay. Especially if this is your 1st time visiting Paris like it was for us. This hotel had the basics covered. It was clean, comfortable and accessible. Charly at the front desk was very kind and helpful. All in all, this is a decent, reliable hotel. The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
