St. Havel Residence is a fantastic option between renting an apartment and a hotel. Situated on a quiet street just 2 minutes from old Town Square and a few minutes from Wenceslas Square. Dining and shopping are all around. One could not ask for a better location in the centre. What sets St. Havel Residence apart is the service manager Katerina provides. She takes care of everything and is your concierge for the residence flats. On my checkout day, Katerina called a limo to take me to my destination, which was prompt and luxurious- a Mercedes. A breakfast option is available, with a fine selection of breads, eggs, sausages, juice, etc., at the restaurant downstairs. Other amenities include equipped kitchens, washing machines and fast internet. I was able to stream Youtube and upload videos without any lag. In the end, I would highly recommend a stay at St. Havel Residence. It provides the best of both worlds- between a private flat and hotel, at a very affordable price. Having been to Prague 14 times, I can say St. Havel Residence will be my home in Prague for my next trip.

Stayed for 2 nights and 2 days. This place is amazing. Right in the middle of city center (5 minutes walk to the square). Farmers market on same street and right out the gate you are in the middle of all action. Interior is amazing. Specially the design on roof, furniture and feel makes you feel you are in Prague 24/7. Very comfy and open. Breakfast was not too fancy but excellent enough to star the day. We had to checkout at 3:30 AM for the flight and there were tons of options (Local Taxi, Uber and Bolt). All were available right outside the hotel door. Next time we go to Prague, we are staying there again.

The hotel is just around the corner from Prague's Old Town Square and is only 5 minutes walk away. Most of the attractions are accessible on foot. The transportation in the city is also very convenient, and it is very sensible to get on the tram. It is worth recommending. I left my bracelet in the bathroom and hope to get it back.

Charming hotel, friendly and helpful staff and management, huge guest room with high ceilings lovingly furnished incl. four poster bed, good choice warm breakfast buffet, comfortable restaurant inside and outside with delicious local fare (loved the pulled pork), and all that literally less than a 100 yards off the Old Town Square with the famous Astronomical Clock, and all it's lovely coffee shops and restaurants. Though right in the middle of all the bustle it was absolutely quiet in our room. Last but not least being able to park right next to the hotel made checking in and out so very convenient. For my wife it was her first time in Prague and on her birthday a lovely bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket welcomed us back at our room, when we returned after brunch. We had short but truly memorable week in Prague and the team at the Dominican sure did their part to make it so. We'll be back soon I hope!

Stayed over Christmas for 4 nights Pro- - in old town, steps from main square, and Christmas Market - Very big apartment with good heater, kitchen (no oven, only microwave and toaster), washer, coffee maker, etc - Very nice view from Room 5 top floor - Though above all the crowds in main shopping street, cannot hear the noise as double windows unless you open the window - Comfy big bed in master room - Very friendly and responsive staff who handled us the keys giving clear instructions and tips on where to eat and buy food - Secured entrance to apartment building with 2 gates - secured luggage storage till evening on the day of check out - short Uber/taxi ride 5 -10 min from Prague main train station. (Caution - main station taxi stand has some taxis wanted Euro 30 for this ride which we refused. Took a Uber instead- cost us only 8 Euro). Uber driver dropped us at Hard Rock Cafe just less than 60m (a min walk) from apartment since apartment is on no car pedestrian road. Cons - nothing much except one of the 2 sofa bed was broken, so my 2 teens had to share one sofa bed in the hall, though is for 2 person but it sink in the center so was not comfortable for 4 nights stay. I believe they would have get it repaired by now. And Tv can be bigger since the apartment is so huge. But with so many places to visit in Prague or around Czech, you probably will not need a Tv that much. No elevator but the stairs are wide so going up 4 floor with luggage did not post much problem for us unless you are not fit. Overall, a very good stay. Will definitely recommend.

When you arrive at the hotel you have to enter through a bar and restaurant and ring to get access to the hotel. There is no lift, so be aware if you have heavy suitcases. David on reception was very helpful and friendly. We checked into a very large room which was nice and clean, but our first night was very disturbed as there was a lot of noise from the street outside and also a bright light which was on all night. We asked if we could be moved and the lady on reception told us the noise was just the bin men, we are not stupid, there is a digger in the street and clearly a lot for work going on, hence the bright lights too. Anyway, she moved us to the front of the hotel, another very large room, which was clean and pleasant. The shower head only reached shoulder height and there was no way of moving it any higher so this was a bit difficult when taking a shower. We had a drink of tea in the room, and the teabags weren't refilled. The breakfast is ok, just a basic continental which is served in your room by a very friendly lady. All in all, the location is great, right on the square, but the hotel does not feel like 5 star, and there is just something that I can't quite put my finger on that makes me hesitant to give it a higher mark.

The Old Prague Hotel was lovely. We spent the first week in December 2019 there so that we could see Prague and the Christmas markets. Hotel is old fashioned but this just added to the experience of Prague and was a welcome change to the usual top named hotels where we normally stay that have no ambiance at all. It had character and was very clean and friendly. Just a small place with 3 floors. Our room did not have a view but was very comfortable and warm and wanted for nothing. The staircase with its red carpet and decorative handrails was like something from a stately home. Just a 5 minute walk to the Astronomical clock and other tourist places. In fact forget about using any transport go by foot anywhere in Prague and see things at a leisurely pace. Everything is in walking distance. The rooms did have secondary double glazing so we did not have an option to open a window so not sure if air circulation in the summer might be a problem. As we were there in December our only concern was the lift in the hotel which broke down whilst we were using it as it is very, very small but help came within a minute. We used the stairs after that which was not a problem. Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of food and a wide choice but get there early to get a good seat. Prague itself and The Old Prague Hotel made my Christmas this year.

We stayed here for 2 nights with one being New Year’s Eve. We had to walk a little way to the hotel from our taxi which is fine as the hotel is right in the middle of town, which is was excellent for location. Check in was great and the lady was very helpful and friendly. Our room was a good size and although we didn’t face the market square we could see it through our window. We had 2 windows although not technically double glazing, but it did reduce some of the noise from outside. We went for a walk and then came back to the hotel for dinner. We went downstairs to the restaurant and had dinner. I have reviewed restaurant seperately, but the issue was we tried to charge our meal back to the restaurant but were advised we couldn’t as the restaurant was not part of the hotel. That is fine but do not advertise it this way. I had to then go to our room and get more cash. We had breakfast the next morning and it was ok, but nothing special. The next night was a nightmare, but it was New Year’s Eve, so expected it to be noisey. But there was fire works from 5.00 in the afternoon until 4.00 am the next morning. This is no fault of the hotel but with not proper double glazing it was very noisy. Also in the hotel we could hear the lifts going up and down and then there were dogs barking which were obviously in one of the rooms. Also the lift did not seem to work most of the time, we asked reception and they said it works but we couldn’t get it to work. Again the last day the receptionist was excellent. The final point i wish to make that this hotel cost on average over $400 Australian which is the price of a 5 star hotel and this is not the case for this hotel.

Nové Město
We just got back from our 7-day trip to Prague and we had the best hotel experience staying at Park Inn Hotel. The whole staff was very kind and available for any request 24/7. Our room was gorgeous, extremely spacious and cozy, with two walls covered in large windows that faced the Moldava River and the streets of Prague. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very comfortable since I prefer long hot baths and my boyfriend takes quick showers. Moreover we had three different Dove hand-body wash/shampoo dispensers that were free to use. The cleaning service works everyday, but I noticed a few problems, like some dirt on the carpet in a corner behind the entrance door and two or three rose petals under our bed on our very first day (maybe because it was February 15th and we checked-in earlier than we were supposed to, so the cleaning lady didn't have enough time to and they also offer laundry service. There's a restaurant on the ground floor where we had breakfast everyday, and it serves a vast range of dishes and beverages (eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, cheese, potato pancakes, butter, bread, pastries, jams, cereal, milk, smoothies, all kinds of coffee and tea and so much more). The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, but the prices are a lot higher than in a local restaurant in the city, so we didn't try it. The hotel is 4 minutes away from two different tram stops (Vytón [where there's also a ticket machine with a card reader in case you don't have any change] and Albertov) and just 300mt away from a tiny supermarket named Tesco for any groceries necessity.

Myself and my husband stayed here for three nights as part of BA package. The hotel was only a short transfer from the hotel and is right next to Metro and Tram transport links. The hotel is very modern, clean, and quiet - at times we felt like we were the only people staying there! The reception staff were always very polite. We were able to get into our room as soon as we arrived and they were able to always help us - we bought transport tickets from them at reception, changed money from notes to coins and also used the luggage storage service upon checking out. The only slight disappointment is that there were a range of items provided in the fridge in the room (water, beer, pepsi and cholocate) and we were only aware that these were chargeable upon checkout when we were billed for them! We have stayed in many hotels around the world were obviously items in the mini bar are chargable, however this has always been made clear on a sign in the room, but we have also stayed in hotels were the items are complimentary. Also don't forget you will get billed a nightly tax at the end of your stay. We did however have a lovely stay at the Diplomat and nothing was too much trouble. We would return here if ever returning to Prague.

My husband booked this as a surprise 18th Wedding Anniversary get away. The hotel is beautiful. Comfortable and immaculately clean. A stone's throw from the metro which was so easy to navigate. We went all over. The Architecture is just stunning. We were lucky with the weather....not too cold, but all courtyard bars have blankets to snuggle under with heaters. Be prepared to walk alot if sightseeing is your thing. And no high heels. All the streets and roads are cobbled. Food and drink are so cheap and the beer is crazy cheap. We lived our time away. The breakfast was a huge selection. And although there isn't tea or coffee making in the rooms, it's available all around the hotel complimentary. We loved the little linen bag you hang out every day for a little surprise. Easy check in and out. Definately recommend.

This hotel is located on the edge of Prague's Old Town. It takes 20 minutes to walk to Prague Square, which is a long way. Uber is recommended (Uber in Czech is very convenient and cheap). The hotel facilities are a bit old and had to be renovated about 5-8 years ago. The lobby downstairs is very bright, the afternoon tea in the lobby bar is delicious, and there is a small casino on the ground floor (Prague has many such small casinos, this is considered regular). There is a small shopping mall downstairs and a supermarket inside (not 24 hours, it closes at about 20:00)

I am a frequent traveler to the Czech Republic, so I am frequently coming and going through Prague. I have stayed at many hotels in Prague ... and The Emblem is absolutely the best. I stay nowhere else now. #1 ... is the SERVICE. Absolutely stellar staff ... Erika, Teresa, et. al. have gone over the top many times to make my visit the best. #2 ... LOCATION. Right near Old Town Square ... near Charles Bridge ... near the trams. Perfect location. #3 ... SPA ... massage ... fitness .... #4 ... FOOD ... the attached Michelin-star'd dining restaraunt is spectacular. I recommend The Emblem ...without reservation. It is the best.

Thanks to BA cancelling my flight, i ended up with a night here at the Grandior. Centrally located for the Metro, trams and only a one stop metro ride from the Main railway station. I have stayed in Na Porici before and there are loads of good bars & restaurants close by. The hotel public areas and rooms are immaculate. Service was some of the best that i have had in the Czech republic, that can sometimes be a little surly at other locations. At breakfast time, guests are asked to wear masks to the buffet breakfast, however once at the table these can obviously be removed. On the subject of the breakfast it was more than adequate. If i was a little picky, i would like to see the selection of cold meat and fresh fruit expanded. The only pain for me at the hotel was that the lifts are operated by the room cards and these could be a little temperamental. Thought being so close to the road would be noisy but shouldn't have worried. Would definitely stay here again.
