Hotels Near Le Danton In Paris
0.09km from Le DantonWe were very well welcomed at the Odeon and definately recommend any travelers. Hotel staff are very welcoming and carefull on giving information, advices and tips on our stay. They all speak english (and other languages) and are happy to help on learning the French language. The location is perfect, very easy to acess with the subway, lot of nice places that you can go in a walking distance (such as the Louvre, and Notre Dame, the Pantheon), and if you like to walk, you can even walk to Champs Elysses and etc. Even tough we we're very well treated by the whole crew (an Italian young fellow, Stela - who speaks good portuguese, a very friendly middle aged Sir who I forgot the name), I do have to make a special compliment to TOMAS, a french young fellow who works at the reception, who was just above the average! Excelent on giving cool advices and information on Paris and French, He even helped us print our PSG tickets, just an example of how well treated we we're at Odeon. Not satisfyed on teaching us how to get to places, he would go outside on the street and point us exactaley the directions! Free snacks and juices on the lobby are also a plus. Para brasileiros, localização excepcional, equipe muito cordial e amigável. Excelente escolha a um preço justo em Paris.
0.09km from Le DantonOne of the key reasons I chose this hotel to stay at in the first place was it's convenient location to several of the sites I wished to visit. Easily within walking distance to the Louvre, the d'Orsay, Notre Dame, Shakespeare and Company bookstore and several Metro stops, I was won over by the wonderful staff, the quaint rooms and their continental breakfasts. I was greeted with a smile every time I returned from one of my excursions, and found the desk clerks extremely helpful. There are lots of wonderful restaurants in the area and it was a reasonably taxi ride to the Eiffel Tower. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel de Fleurie while in Paris, and I plan to stay there again whenever I get back to the city of lights.
0.13km from Le DantonJust had a 7 night stay at this lovely little hotel we had a fab stay was made to feel very welcome. All the staff were really friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were really cute comfy bed everything you need ,breakfast was included for us with a fantastic choice of meats ,cheeses pastries ,fruit and loads of extras we haven’t had before in our visits to other hotels in Paris. Hotel is in an excellent location in saint Germain central to loads of attractions within walking distance so all in all we had a fantastic 7 night stay thank you hotel tonic
0.13km from Le DantonStayed here for 2 nights as a group of 6 sharing 3 rooms to celebrate a special family birthday . Despite emailing them directly well ahead to not mention the other guests in the group at check-in ,who were arriving separately, they had not bothered reading the email and totally spoilt the surprise for my husband by immediately mentioning the group booking! I found this very unprofessional. The hotel is in an incredible location and that in itself gives it 3 points . The rooms are very small but we knew that on booking from previous reviews and was perfectly ok as we knew we’d spend little time in the rooms . The bathrooms on first look seemed modern if small but we soon realized the shower screen was filthy with black and green mould all along the bottom and up the hinge side plus a lot of black mould on the tiles and limescale. This is purely down to poor housekeeping . We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on this . One other point after we’d checked out we left the hotel only to be called back about when we were going to pay when in fact we’d paid in full in advance through Agoda , they should have checked all this When we handed back the keys. As a base for sightseeing it’s brilliant, friendly staff but very basic no frills hotel.

0.14km from Le DantonVery nice and cosy hotel in the heart of St. Germain. Staff was very suportive and nice before and during our stay in Paris. We had a nice and comfortable room for three, which was not large, but we enjoyed your time there. Both common space and room inlcuding bathroom (with tub) were clean and tidy. Although facing the street side of the hotel, the room was quiet thanks to noise protection windows. The breakfast, which was included in our tariff, was also very good.
0.2km from Le DantonShhh, don't tell too many people but the Hotel Esprit Saint Germain is one of the best places we've ever stayed. All of the reviews were spot on. The location is amazing, the rooms, although smaller than the us, are plenty big and if you get one on the 4th floor they were recently renovated. The staff are amazing and will do anything you need to ensure your stay is perfect. Plus the lounge areas with complementary wine, champagne, beer, coffee etc. was the icing on the cake. This is the exact type of hotel you close your eyes and dream about. Thank you to everyone who made our Valentines Day weekend stay so memorable.
0.2km from Le DantonWe had a very relaxing two-night stay in a charming, quiet and comfortable room facing Saint-Germain market. Breakfast was very nice, too, with a good choice of eggs, yogurts, jams, pastries, etc. If you like the Left Bank area, you can't beat this location - everything is within walking distance - Latin Quarter, Jardin de Luxembourg, Notre-Dame, Marais, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and many more!
0.21km from Le DantonWe had single rooms. They are small, as others have said, but fine for a short stay. The rooms could do with an update, but they were clean and comfortable. We had rooms at the back so they were quiet too. Staff were friendly and helpful. We decided to have the breakfasts as there was a good range of options - fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, cold spread (cheese, pate, meats) as well as a hot option (eggs, sausage etc) as well as good bread & croissants/pain chocolat with wide choice of teas, coffee, juice. Only issue was the rooms were quite hot and we couldnt figure out how we could turn the heating down, so had to open the windows - not a great solution given how important it is these days not to waste energy!
0.24km from Le DantonI loved staying at Hotel de Buci in Paris. My mom and I went to Paris for a fun trip and we stayed at the hotel. I speak French but my mom doesn't speak a lick of French whatsoever. The staff at the hotel speak English perfectly, so it made our jet-lagged, brain dead check in run smoothly. I know this hotel is a little bit on the pricier side; after all, there is a lot of competition in Paris for great hotels, but I love the vibe of a boutique hotel. I cannot express how incredibly wonderful the staff was the entire time. Sanjay is the concierge and he is wonderfully knowledgeable about great eats, attractions and other accommodations in the city. what I liked most about this hotel is that they also offered a portal wifi router (for lack of a better word) that I could carry in my purse so I wasn't using all of my data trying to access my emails, locations, or text messages. The rooms are sizeable. Enough for a double bed or queen and some extra space for luggage. The closets in our room were immensely helpful for storing and hanging our coats and clothes. I absolutely loved the location of the hotel too. It is in a great neighborhood in Paris and I never felt uncomfortable walking around. In fact, it was a fairly lively neighborhood even at midnight when people are sitting outside brasseries and having a drink. Even with all of the hustle and bustle on the streets below, once we turned in for the night and closed our blackout curtains, it was as if you were in the countryside part of France--very very quiet.
0.24km from Le DantonThis review is not about our vacation experience at the Hotel Baume, but about the exemplary reservations staff. We have been to Paris over a dozen times, and are very familiar with the location of the Hotel Baume - close to the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens and several of our favorite restaurants and museums. The hotel itself looked lovely, and the reviews of prior visitors were glowing. When Covid unfortunately made it impossible for us to travel, I contacted the hotel staff via email to see how we could deal with our trip. Over a few days, I had several correspondences with Nathalie in Resevations. She always replied promptly and with great courtesy. She was SO patient. In the end, we came to an amiable conclusion. We have found that a hotel may be beautiful to look at, but the staff will make all the difference in your stay. When we find it safe to travel again (which we hope will be next summer!), the Hotel Baume will be the first place we book. Thank you so much, Nathalie! We very much appreciate your help.
0.24km from Le DantonThe hotel itself is lovely and most of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Those at the front desk speak and understand English very well. They will not let you check in early, but they will hold your bags until check-in time. The breakfast is mostly redundant but nice. Every day, you can expect croissants, French baguette, butter, strawberry jam, and an assortment of cheeses (the only thing that may change), as well as coffee, tea or hot chocolate and orange juice. The elevator is tiny and suitable for 2 people at a time who are not obese. If you are weight challenged, the stairs are spiral. There's also a step right near the front desk that you must stay aware of. It seems that the carpeting on the stairs has been updated but the carpeting on the 3rd floor is in serious need of replacement and the same for our room #15. Our room was very small; luckily we are not large people but I'm sorry we didn't ask if something larger was available even if we had to pay extra. Blame the sleepless flight and the cold I arrived with. There was no shower curtain and the wallpaper was hideous. The rug was a disgrace and I believe they need to invest in a new vacuum cleaner. There was a small closet with a small safe above, a shelf and a small desk. I would book directly through the hotel to have a better room experience and not AirBNB. The housekeeper was very nice, and the hotel is in a good location.
0.25km from Le DantonWe stayed here for 4 nights at the end of February. The first two nights were on the 3rd floor facing the street. It was significantly loud with traffic and street noise. On the third night we switched to a 4th floor room that faces the courtyard and alley. MUCH quieter. Both rooms were executive sized (larger than standard.) It was nice to have the extra room, however, there were at least two too-many pieces of furniture in each room that ate up a lot of the space! We could have done without the extra side chair and occasional table. (Or keep those two and get rid of the love seat!) It didn't help that my wife and I each had two large pieces of luggage each. The furniture is a little dated but not unsettling. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. (although the shower had a very slow drain and the pan backed up with a pool of water, yuck.) One more thing about the first bathroom: The faucets were a design of smooth chrome; so smooth that it was impossible to turn them off with wet hands! Design fail! The executive room we moved to on the 4th floor was a bit bigger, and better laid out. This one had a tub shower and workable faucets! FTW! The roof deck is NOT TO BE MISSED! One of the best views in Paris! All front desk and cleaning staff were gracious and very helpful. I would possibly stay here again if only for the location and roof top view!
Hotels Near Le Danton In Paris Review
Stayed 9 nights. Got a room in the 5' floor with balcony. Small but very nice. Superb location, some 20 m. from the Rue Rivoli on a quiet small street. No noise at all. Meters from St. Jaques Tour and the Hotel de Ville (Municipality). Exit from the Hotel de Ville Metro station, exit Rue Coutellierie, has mechanic stairs till the street which is not so common. For elderly people, or with baby trolleys, etc. is perfect. Walking distance from Forum des Halles, Louvre, Pompidou Center, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, etc. Everyone speaks english. Stephan speaks Spanish as well. Very nice and helpful good looking and cooperative guy. Completely refrubrished. Insulated walls prevent from any noise from other rooms or street which is anyway very quiet. Beautiful, small bathroom. Small but has everything. New furniture. Wooden floor. New and very good quality of towels. Very good heating. Kettle and coffe machine in the room. Now cons: not everything is bright: The room is perfect but very very small. Has very little shelves and room for clothes. Beautiful but extremely small. Need to improve exterior entrance which is brown, dark, and old, leaving a not nice impression. Nice and clean lobby but outside look, needs improvement. Same with the corridors rugs. I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends, those who don't mind to stay in a very small room - but very nice and pleasant.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
In Christmas 2019 in France, I ordered a Superior King Room (with sofa bed). The size of the room is already relatively large in Paris. The two 24-inch boxes can be spread out and can be used at the same time.
Hotel location: In the 1st district, about 10 minutes from the Louvre if not. The entrance of the hotel is Line 1 and Line 14 subway stations, which is very convenient (although we happened to strike in France when we went there, the subway stopped ... But it is very convenient to live here if you come here to play). There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel downstairs, from McDonald's to Italian French and Japanese. There is also a 10-minute walk from St. Eustache Church. The church will have an organ show around 5pm on Sunday, which is worth a look.
Room facilities: There is a kettle (I originally brought a portable kettle, but the boiled water has white foam. In the end, I can only use the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel's kettle is quite clean. The shampoo and bath are two in one. Washing hands and washing face in one. The smell is very comfortable. It doesn't dry out after washing.
Breakfast: Special! do not! it is good! We stayed in Paris for 5 nights. One of the most anticipated daily is the hotel breakfast. There are various types of bread such as ham, bacon, cheese, and baguettes. The best thing is their croissant and small square chocolate filling. The bag has a particularly crispy outer skin, and the inside is very soft. The fruits are also cut. The oranges, kiwis, pineapples, grapefruits, bananas, and watermelons are also available. You can also squeeze the juice directly (but the grapefruit is a bit bitter and is not recommended ), The coffee machine is also self-service, there are latte, fast coffee, cappuccino, etc., hot dishes are omelet, tomato sauce, bean sauce, boiled potatoes, etc. Others are oatmeal, raspberry juice, grapefruit juice and orange juice ( Of course it's ice). If you want to eat fried eggs, you can tell the waiter that the kitchen is fried and delivered to the location.
Overall the hotel experience is very good.
Booked based on location before reading reviews so was a little nervous about what to expect. Have to say I saw no evidence of the poor maintenance shown in some photos, the public areas of the hotel and our room were in perfect order and very clean. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the front desk is manned 24x7. We arrived far too early for check-in hoping we could just leave our bags but the room was ready so they let us have it right away. They kept hold of our bags for us until an evening flight on check-out day too. The room was quite small but that's normal for the old buildings in the area. Shower was over the bath but decent pressure. Location is ideal, at the quieter end of one of the less busy streets in the Marais, so only two minutes walk from all the cafes, bars and restaurants but not too noisy. I will happily book again next time I'm working in Paris.
I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions in the past, and after a 10 year gap I returned to Paris for a few days and booked again. I was not disappointed! The location is just excellent...Pompidou is a block away, BHV literally opposite. Le Marais, Notre Dame etc. are a short stroll, and everywhere else a quick metro ride away. I was in town for work but even being tired at the end of the day, getting out to eat and sightsee in the evenings was effortless. The hotel has a contemporary boutique feel - stylish but subtle and nicely updated since my previous visits. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and my room was modern and comfortable. I opted for the express breakfast each morning, which offers juice, coffee and a selection of wonderful fresh breads and pastries. A perfect start to my day and again served by a welcoming and friendly member of staff. I can't recommend this place enough, and I will be returning on my next Paris visit!
