This hotel is really beautiful! Live in and feel like a princess. The hotel uses Le Labo's soap shampoo body lotion! Super fragrant! In addition, the gym room in the hotel is quite large, with many different machines. And the swimming pool is beautiful! It's a pity that I didn't bring a swimsuit. The Steam bath is also great!

Our first time visiting Quebec City and this wonderful hotel. We were so warmly greeted by Stephan who instantly helped us with everything from retrieving our bags, sight seeing recommendations and restaurants. He was a gem of a guy, and helped us with some local history too. He also made sure that we did not leave without a Cigar and Cadillac and Creme Brûlée in the restaurant. His recommendation did not disappoint! We did make it down to see Mixologist extraordinaire Jeremy for our delicious and unique drink (we ended up having two each). Another gem of a guy! So kind, patient and professional. Our room was so beautiful and decorated upon our arrival for our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved the view, the fresh air from the windows and the decor. The bed and abundance of pillows were extremely comfortable. We will be back again for sure, as the location could not have been better for everything you want to see in Quebec City. Most importantly, we loved the service we received from EVERY employee we encountered. Wow!

The pros, location and hotel room is good. You can walk to the tourist attractions as it is closeby such as hotel frontenac, the citadelle and the lower quarter via a funicular lift. I love that it is spacious and has good strong water pressure and the staff are polite and proffesional. The cons I was allocated a room which is not at lift level. More like in between floors. I did not find this info in their website when making booking. So when they mention they have lift I assumed it stops at every level. I tried to request to change but was told they are full as it was close to weekend. I stayed from wed to friday. So i have to walk up and down 2 flights of staircases daily for 3 days with knee joint pain. The staff offered to help with my luggage so that help solve the problem. Also the room will only be clean after you check out. I dislike seeing unmade beds and trash fill up. So ended up making own bed.

The location is very good. It is only a few minutes away from the scenic spot, so that you can ensure that you can avoid snatching shots with a large number of tourists in the morning and evening! The hotel has several small houses, each with only a few rooms. Maybe it's a long-standing relationship. There are more or less problems in the house. Just think about it and live for 2 days, and it will be overcome. The hotel has a parking lot. It should be in some lane next door. The waiter will help you park the car, and you will come over when you need it. Remember to tip! The parking fee is quite expensive. It costs 50.58 Canadian dollars for a two-day tax increase. The hotel does not provide breakfast, and you can eat Western-style meals just around the corner when you walk to the restaurant.

-Good indoor pool with a splash pad for little ones. My 9 year-old could touch the bottom on tiptoes so not too deep, which is great for families. You have to reserve 30-minute slots but it was so quiet we were usually there for well over an hour and they'll mix families up to 10 people in the pool. We were ok with that (during covid) but if you're not, I'd tell them in advance. -Breakfast included (usually a hot/cold buffet but during covid it's a boxed breakfast but still good: either 1) bacon & egg breakfast sandwich, yogurt, apple, cheese & orange juice, or 2) banana bread, granola bar, yogurt, apple & orange juice) -Quiet -Clean, comfortable beds -Big room & big bathroom (we were in a recently renovated room that was $9 more per night but I got a glimpse of some other rooms during housekeeping and they looked nice as well) -Laminate flooring which was a nice change from sketchy hotel carpeting -Mini fridge, microwave & keurig in the room -Unlimited juice, tea, coffee & hot chocolate in the lobby -Free wifi -Free parking -Friendly, polite, professional staff -15 minutes to Old Quebec -25 minutes to the Aquarium du Québec -Tons of restaurants nearby Booked thanks to a recommendation from my cousin so I'm passing along the favor! The kids loved it and we would definitely go back.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November. We actually a room which had 3 queen beds. This was the first time I had seen a room with 3 actual beds like that. Which worked our perfectly for our party. The room itself, was nice. The decor was modern enough. I will say that I found the bathroom to be a bit tight. The distance between the door and toilet was almost uncomfortable, but it worked. The breakfast that was offered at that time was via an order form. Your selection was fairly minimal. There were muffins, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and some fruit. The pool was decent. Not overly big though, so if you are staying during a busy time, it may be packed. Tips: Call ahead and confirm breakfast style if that is one of your deciding factors.

The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Hilton Hotel. The hotel is on a hillside and is a striking high-rise building in downtown Quebec. It is easy to find by car. Very close to the Old Town and within walking distance. The room is comfortable and spacious, the mattress is soft and moderate, it is suitable for personal taste, and the quilt is comfortable. On the day of the check-in, we just caught up with the summer solstice festival in Quebec. There was a concert and we looked down from the hotel window. We could see a large number of people coming in from all directions and concentrated in the direction of the old city. Staying at this hotel is easy to catch up with.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for this lovely hotel in the heart up upper town. My husband and I visited in Oct 2021 and our expectations of this hotel were surpassed. We had several different front desk staff and all were friendly and helpful. It has a great central location. A short walk to lower town and lots of restaurant options. We also greatly appreciated having parking close by. Our room (I believe it was 310) had windows in two directions and a gorgeous dormer. The free coffee and movies were icing on the gateau. We are planning on returning next month for our 25th anniversary. This is the only hotel for us in Quebec City.

Hotel location is very good, the surrounding environment is clean. 10 minutes from the old town. On the left is the plain of Abraham, the environment is beautiful, through the plains to the star castle, 10 minutes away. A few minutes on the right side of the door is a snack street. In the evening, many tourists are here to eat and drink, lively but not chaotic. The room we booked does not include breakfast, but there is a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, you can buy coffee bread, go out and turn right and go to Starbucks in 5 minutes. There is a parking lot, warm service, very nice hotel. The bed was a little smaller. This hotel is on the edge of the Old City. Very comfortable room with 2 queen beds and sitting area. From our room 'Panoramic City View #14, we had a great view of the city. The pool and gym was very nice. The pool is inside with views looking down on the pool from different spots around the floors. You can have a balcony view pool room if you choose. We had room no.1 with a balcony overlooking the water. It’s a big room with 2 beds, a fireplace, a sofa and chair, a desk/chair, fridg and full bathroom, all beautifully decorated with the 180 year old period feeling. It is comfortable, warm and homey, in addition to being super clean. The Terrasse Dufferin, of course is right on the famous Terrasse Dufferin boardwalk that it shares with the Chateau Frontenac. It even has an stand-alone A/C unit which is fabulous as it is 31 Celsius outside with a “feels like” 40 Celsius. The fridg is stocked with muffins, granola bars and coffee creamers. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Overall, it doesn’t get better if you are looking for authentic century old accommodations.

We've stayed at Quality Inns many times over the years and have always been happy with our stay. That's why we were a bit disappointed with this location. We were given a 3rd floor room that the end of the hall which meant that we could take our bags up the elevator. However our room was one of about 10 rooms that were down 6-7 steps so we had to lug our bags down those stairs to our room and then back up again when we left. We also weren't happy with the air conditioning as it would cool for about an hour and then cut out. We had to shut if off and then after several minutes, turn it on again so that it would cool for another hour. As a result, our room got warm and stuffy through the night. The breakfast was advertised as a hot buffet but really was nothing special although they did serve egg patties, sausage patties and you could make your own waffle. This stay was average at best - certainly not the quality stay we've come to know from Quality Inns.

Charming hotel and is perfectly located near many restaurants in Old Quebec. The staff was amazing, super welcoming and friendly. Stanley was outstanding and so helping. We had booked 2 Junior Suites in the building across the reception. We were 4 adults with 2 young children. The rooms were beautiful with a separate bedroom, living area, with a desk and small table and chairs and a kitchenette. The bathrooms were also beautiful with heated floors and a floating toilet even the doors are of solid wood. They really put top quality in their renovations. We loved our stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a charming, clean and well located hotel with character. Not just a standard chain hotel. I highly recommend reserving your restaurants ahead of time. We had lots of difficulty finding a table anywhere the night we arrived. We called over 20 restaurants which were all booked or had only a 9:30 availability. With 2 young children we and ended up ordering lasagna for the kids and sushi for us and ate in the room. Next morning we had brunch at Tavern Lucille adjacent to the hotel. Again we couldn’t find anywhere else to eat without prior reservations. The restaurant was charming and the food was excellent but the service was very long. It was almost an hour before we got our food. They apologized and gave us a small cup of yogourt with honey and granola topping it was very nice. Restaurants are all understaffed and they were going their best. In all it was a great little getaway.

My family of 4 stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Yes, it's an old and dated hotel, but the room was OK, sheets were clean, free parking, free breakfast with plenty of choices (buffet with items served on demand by the hotel staff), warm pool to dip into after a long day in the City - all in all, it met our expectations. 15 min direct bus ride to downtown Quebec, direct bus to Montmorency Falls, easy access to major roads for out-of-town travellers. Very few TV channels in English, most are in French, but we did not come to Quebec City to watch TV. The only real complaint is that WiFi was unreliable - fast at one point, complete out the next. But overall, it is a pretty solid offering for price-conscious travellers.

We rented a loft at the last minute by calling directly down. We told them that we were going to arrive late because we had a reservation in a late restaurant. We arrived at 1:30 a.m., we never had access to our loft. No indication, no good code left there. The emergency service line has no idea how to help us. It was not able to reach anyone from 1:30 to 3:30 AM on Friday night Saturday. We had no other indication than waiting for someone to call us by making us waiting for the corridors. We never had a return of call, never had any excuses, never offered to pay back. I had to insist by calling and I was told that 3 people were too foolish to get back a code and they didn't believe us ... as if we had just done this for 2 hours 30 in the night. And that we had time to get stubborn with them. The supervisor refused to identify, doesn't want to leave his name after we've been hanging on our nose. We refuse to pay our differences and we have not even paid the price in advance. We intend to prosecute these owners in court so insulting.
