We were very happy at this hotel. Our room was modern, large, comfortable beds and extremely clean. Staff were great too, very helpful. We would certainly consider staying here again. The location is great, right in centre of old town and close to lake. Only negative is that mid-summer Annecy is very busy, and the crowds seem to gather right outside the hotel! Our room was quiet, however - 4th floor and great double glazing worked perfectly.

We enjoyed the convenience of a kitchenette in our apartment so we could store food in the fridge and cook a few simple meals. The “apartment” was well laid out with a door separating the kitchenette and bathroom from the bedroom. The bedroom was small but had a beautiful view of a park and large stained glass window of the church. The bed had USB charging ports in the bed head which was very convenient. There was a working lift. The hotel is located within the old town with all it’s attractions. My only complaint is the laundry room. You have to buy tokens from the front desk, which is fine. My problem is with the dryer. With my limited French, I couldn’t figure out the settings. Each time I opened the dryer to check if my clothes were dry, it wouldn’t restart without paying more tokens. This involved going back to the front desk and spending more euros. I had to do this twice, making it three times expensive than it should have been. I used many laundromats “laveries” in France and never had this problem with any of the dryers.

Happy to have chosen this hotel for a short stay in Annecy. Easy booking and communicating with the hotel from the beginning! The Good: - very friendly and approachable staffs. easy breezy check in/out - top central location near old town, close to cafes, restaurants, shops and the lake! - great deco at the lobby, modern and filled with fun activities - parking garage right next to it - room with balcony and riverside view, also come with kettle. Nice air-conditioned. - reasonably priced Less Good: - extremely old parking garage - filthy dirty, small tight spaces, can be pricey for long hours parking - room and upper floors are very dated, old furnishing, quite basic. Not the same as the standard modern Ibis style - small, old and not-smart tv (not big issue but again it makes the room sad) Overall good for short stay but can be better for sure to suit the modern Ibis image!

Hard to add heat in the room as only AC is provided in the room and not many thick blankets. Toilet and shower are separate rooms in the room for the room I stayed in but all in the suite. Nice front desk staff.

The location is very good, just a 5-minute walk from the station, there is a temporary parking space at the door (only for in-house guests), the front desk is very welcoming, but the check-in time is relatively late. The room is super small, the door is the bed, and the suitcase can only be placed on both sides of the bed. It is very hygienic, and it is dry and wet. The breakfast is also good, but for the first time, I didn’t pay attention to the reminder and looked at the eggs that were cooked. As a result, I had to cook them myself, which was shameful~~

We spent 4 nights here recently and enjoyed our stay. Staff were all friendly and most spoke some English. They served a nice breakfast. The hotel was convenient to many restaurants and was walking distance from the train station. Annecy itself is well worth the visit.

The hotel is not in the old town of Annecy, in the other direction of the bus station, more biased. However, it’s not bad to stroll along the river from the back of the hotel. At check-in, the front desk will be a great place to introduce the famous sights of Annecy and provide a variety of promotional brochures. The early mail greeted the hotel and reserved a room with a balcony. The room was small, but the balcony felt very spacious. The room facilities are too simple and not suitable for families. In addition, the quality of the hotel's breakfast is too general, not delicious, the child is considered to be the worst of all hotels in Europe. However, this American hotel chain can be understood.

Excellent location, calm rooms, very aesthetically designed rooms with nice sunroof in both bathroom and above bed. Checkin and check out process was smooth. They have breakfast option inside the hotel, but we have not trued as we overslept both days:).. Highly recommended for couples/ 2 adults stay. They don’t have third cot provision and request only 2 adults per room.Me and my daughter stayed and we enjoyed every bit of it. Only thing i would suggest for hotel, please offer your that free coffee which you set up in the evenings from 1-9pm, in the mornings at-least for an hour. They provide coffee, tea and some biscuits for their guests every evening. Its a nice gesture. It could be extended in the morning too. For few those who skip breakfast, only coffee would be of great help.

The hotel is overlooking Annecy's lake. At it's front door, it seems like we are way deep in the forest and yet we were barely 10 minutes away from the city. The staff is very sweet and professional. We are travelling with our 1 year old he got cute attention from the team at breakfast. Feeling that the hole family is included is priceless. These 2 nights were welcomed rest and relaxation. Thank you to all the staff members that made this gateway a pleasurable one for us!

The hotel is in the middle, a little away from the center, which is easily reachable in car in a few minutes. The availability of parking in the area is not always immediate, but at the end I always found a place. The first impression was not very favourable, as the hall was full of dry leaves, but the lady at the reception was very pleased to welcome us: extremely gentle, a good Italian speaking and, In the absence of hiss (a true big sin of the structure) assigning us a room to the third floor, he also offered to bring our baggage: what has never been seen in any hotel except those of great luxury with staff dedicated to this. If you are cycling in the Alps and want to base out of Annecy (you should) this place is really great. They have a studio apartment on the 5th floor (502 for us) that can in theory sleep 4 (bed + sofa bed) and honestly it wouldn’t;t be too bad if you are students on a budget, My girlfriend and I who were not on a budget stayed here because it has a little kitchen and a balcony. The Balcony is great for bike assembly and storage (see photo) - if you are a cyclist you know what I mean. If you have a tough morning ride and want to chill the little kitchen table and kitchenette is great - you can do French thing and get Bread, Cheese and Charcuterie and chill with a bottle of wine (especially if it’s dumping rain which it did one day) It has a fridge, coffee machine and a microwave, even a bathtub. Additionally, the staff are totally cool. I don’t ascribe the the French are rude maxim, it’s rarely happened to me but these people are super nice and helpful. I bumble about in bad French but they speak English here and are nice about it when Google Translate fails. It has a work area downstairs and breakfast if you want it (we didn’t try it) It has Laundry Machines on site!! You have to pay but they are here without a walk. Take your bibs and kit and wash them in comfort while you drink wine on your balcony. If you aren’t cycling but want a little hotel apartment there isn’t really any reason not to. Final Push: It’s 5 minute walk max from the train station and 10 minutes to anything you want to see in Annecy proper. 5 stars

Very friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast time. The hotel is very clean, rooms are clean and very nice, and breakfast buffet was very yummy. The location is convenient and a short walk from the Old town. Some things to be aware of: Be careful of the room that you may be given if it is on a lower floor and right over the railway under the hotel. When I first checked in, I was given one of these rooms (might have been 306?), However, before even setting my luggage down, the train rolled through and shook the whole room. I asked the very friendly front desk person (Lucile) if there was another room and she accommodated, by switching me to a room at the end of the hotel. The room was quiet, and was a very nice room. Next, be aware that if you are driving to the hotel for the 1st time, there is no temporary parking area in front of the main entrance, for unloading and check in, as you find at 99 percent of all hotels. You must drive down into the underground garage, go up to the card swipe station, press the intercom button, and they will let you into the garage. Lastly, the parking garage was a bit tight to navigate. My coworker actually scrapped the side of her rental car the first time she pulled in. There is a fee for the hotel parking. An alternative parking is available right next to the garage doors, on the right, which is for the train station. Another coworker of mine used this parking and it is easier to navigate.

I really enjoyed the very friendly staff and being warmly welcomed. It was so refreshing to see happy faces! The room was cleaned every morning, I loved that. The breakfast was tasty with local savoie items. The location couldn’t have been more perfect either. I was shocked to see it was right next to the train station and a couple minutes walk from town. The only thing I would change about this location was the small rooms upstairs and the limited amount of products in the room. We got the 4th floor room, which had a slanted roof. I was fine standing in it, but my husband could only stand in half the room because he was so tall. As far as the products, it would have been nice to have a couple tea bags or cups to go with the tea kettle. Maybe even shampoo or tissues too. Other than that, everything was great! I would definitely book with them again. Very happy with my stay.

This is an excellent hotel at the high end of 4 star. Breakfast is the best I have had in Europe. Rooms are good. Beds super comfy and a variety of pillows to suit your taste. Resaurant is top end. It has an indoor or out door choice. To sit outside with breakfast in the morning looking at the lake is beautiful. The Pool is lovely with plenty of sun beds and a great place to chill. Parking is in an underground garage and very safe. So safe most days our room key wouldn’t open it. Reception needs to sort that. Otherwise excellent stay over 6 days
