Hotels Near Le Pistou In Berlin
0.74km from Le PistouThe hotel is 10 minutes drive from Tegel Airport. The hotel is ratedc3 stars but I have some remarks about it. 1. Location is not good if you do not have a car you have to walk up to 15 minutes to buy some fruits or bread. 2. No Male workers that can help you with the luggage. Only 2 old ladies that were there. 3. Reception has no place to store your luggage so for example I was travelling with 2 big pieces of luggage and a handbag I requested to leave the luggage down with the reception and they refused as they do not have space. 4. Also I was allocated a room on the back yard where you have to move with your luggage to reach the elevator you have to climb 10 steps of stairs to reach the elevator. 5. The shower drainage was blocked and taking too much time to drain the water. 6. The room has no telephone so if you need anything you have to go down by yourself 7. There is no trash bin in the room 8. Light is old yellow type which is not good for the eyes 9. The bathroom is very tiny it was too narrow space between the sink and the wall to pass through to the shower. Not good for a fatty person. On the other side breakfast was good and fresh. The room was clean and staff was friendly.

0.92km from Le PistouI stayed here in room 343 for 2 nights while in Berlin. First of all, I couldn't believe how reasonable the price was. I got it through a Black Friday sale for around 41 Euros per night - a steal! The location, while not Central, was very convenient for getting around. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area, including a cheap grocery store just around the corner from the entrance of the hotel. The hotel was absolutely spotless, and the service was good. Although the mattresses seemed a little flimsy, they were comfortable enough. The shower had excellent pressure. Didn't try the bar or the breakfast. The only possible improvement would be the curtains in this particular room - they are in need of replacement given that the blackout coating on the curtains is starting to peel/flake off. I would definitely return!
0.93km from Le PistouWe booked this for 2 nights as were seeing pink in concert. Its 3 stops away on the underground and around 15 minutes from the city the other way. It’s a fab hotel 16 euros in a taxi from Teigel airport. We booked breakfast separately and were so pleased we did as it’s really Good value. We are in room 57 which has its own private balcony and amazing views of the city. The bathroom has a hairdryer shower gel and moisturiser all there for you to use, which is helpful to know when you are limited with liquids travelling with easy jet. There is a Fab bar and nice restaurants Close by. The receptionist was very helpful in giving information on where to visit in Berlin. You can buy your underground ticket there as well.
0.95km from Le PistouIt would have been perfect if not for the fact that I was given a smoker room which was so heavy with the smell of smoke that it made me nauseated. They said they can never promise to give a non smoker room even if requested- they do their best but can’t promise. They said they were fully booked so couldn’t change the room. I couldn’t get the smell out even after3 days of leaving the window open (in cold February). My colleague had a non smoker room and so for her it was perfect. If you are sensitive to smoke, take this into consideration.
0.96km from Le PistouAdvisory....images of foot injury included. We came to this hotel to visit the Christmas markets and the museums and to enjoy a romantic stay away. It was our first trip away together. But, thanks to the hotel's negligence my partner, injured her foot badly and thus our trip was ruined from the start. I must make a plea to those considering staying here despite their good reviews.... Don't, find a different hotel that is worthy of your money, and whom actually care about their guests. This hotel cares nothing about their guests, that is distressingly clear. How it happened.... My partner went to adjust the room thermostat and in doing so, trod on the innocuous conical metal doorstop that was in direct line of the switch and thus out of her peripheral vision. Crucially, it was missing the rubber insert that in effect turned it into a weapon or more accurately, an apple corer. It cut so deeply, she instantly lost a lot of blood and was in such intense pain she burst into tears and was shaking profusely. I went straight to the reception where they called an ambulance. The receptionists were helpful and showed some compassion to her. The ambulance came and bandaged her foot, then left. I had to go out and buy padded plasters and lignocaine cream to help reduce the pain locally. She could not walk without pain so we were stuck in the hotel with nowhere to go. During our forced stay, the hotel manager never once tried to contact us, see us, or offer any form of support either by phone or in person. That is the most shocking part. Nothing but apathy and clearly her attitude is most likely the reason this happened because she shows not interest in guest welfare.....which filters down to her staff One of the cleaning staff should have noticed the missing insert and realised it's potential to harm and replaced it. It took a significant injury to get it replaced. We have called and called, to try to talk to her...surely it should be the other way around? The manager should be the one putting things right...Right? In the end we resorted to contacting the Head office in Amsterdam, we provided them with the details and the photographs. We have placed our trust in them in the vain hope they will help. Yet we have had to chase and chase them as well, they have assured us many times that they are dealing with it...yet nearly 4 months on.....nothing. Absolutely disgraceful customer care. We even went to their hotel in Amsterdam when we stayed there (different hotel mind) in the hope we could get something resolved in person. Sadly not. The defining thing from them, is their silence. Lacklustre and lamentable apathy when all we asked for, was to be reimbursed for our travel costs of £952 nothing more. We haven't even claimed for damages. Four months in....I am now forced to post this reluctantly. Four months in, she is still in discomfort when she walks and complains about the keloid sca

1.2km from Le PistouThe hotel booking was made in advance as it was the close to the conference venue. However, it was not a convenient walking distance. There is no parking at the hotel and all luggage has to be carried from the public parking lot opposite to the hotel. Here the parking lots are extremely narrow making it difficult to unload luggage. No assistance is offered by the hotel staff to unload the luggage despite three staff being present at the day of check in. The hotel does not have an in-house laundry service contrary to what is advertised on the website. The hotel rates provided were not competitive to conference delegates as booked by HRS. The hotel lifts are rundown and shabby. The carpets and rooms and curtains and toilets are unclean and unpleasant. For two days I had to complain of foul odour in the corridor and lifts. This after a tiring day at the conference was unpleasant. Some of the nice things about the hotel are the proximity to the CityCube for the conference. The staff at the kiosk in the hotel are friendly and serve a few hot snacks and drinks. The breakfast on level 8 is served well and the view is pleasant. Overall I had to check out a day earlier as the hotel staff were unable to resolve the foul odour issue. I was offered free breakfast, however, I refused the same as inadequate and inappropriate redressal of the issue. No suggestion was made to offer a change of rooms till the matter was resolved. This was most inappropriate to force a guest to stay for two days without adequate amenities. I hope that the management can deal with this issue appropriately. Betlin as a conference host needs to upgrade standards of respect to guest delegates.
1.28km from Le PistouThere is a parking space on the street, the apartment building on the stairs, you have to go to the hotel next to you, breakfast can also be eaten at the hotel next to it. On the morning of the departure, the front desk and the colleague say hello, so eat it. Breakfast, sincere thanks to them, really good!
1.3km from Le PistouI called in advance to reserve a parking space as I wanted to avoid looking for parking after a long day of driving. However, it was impossible to talk in English with the staff. Upon arrival, we met the same staff who could no communicate in the most basic form of English. This was so frustrating. Difficult and lengthy check-in's is the worst for me when we are exhausted from travelling with children. It was obvious the staff had no professional background in hospitality, nor training. Was this a Russian hotel catered to Russians only? Strange. When we finally managed to park the car, locate the room (and it's smell), we laid down on the bed only to jump out because of the smell of sweat. The bed had been used! There were stains, crumbs and hair. Disgusting! Other negatives are lack of maintenance, leaks, smells and the many ambulances outside due to some hospital/emergency service nearby. No air-conditioning, so the window had to stay open. If it was not for the bad reception, if they had a welcoming smile and common courtesy, and basic knowledge of English, I would recommend this place. The place is ok, the location is nice and the breakfast is above acceptable.
1.3km from Le PistouVery welcoming, ideally situated, clean, ideal for a short break, our family visited to watch rammstein at the olympiastadion which was easily reached due to a fantastic travel network, Jamal was a great host on our return despite the language barrier, Welsh /Scottish. 😊,and helped us plan our airport transfers in the morning, I highly recommend the happy go lucky, 👍
1.3km from Le PistouI stayed in room 24 which was tiny and basic, but adequate and cost a fair price. It seemed clean also. You get free wifi and you can check-in 24hrs which is great for late-arriving travellers. The hotel is diagonally opposite Charlottenburg S-Bahn Station so transport there is really easy. Berlin ZOB is about a 20 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel decor is quite dated but the staff I met were all friendly (most don’t know much English but we managed to communicate ok). I only really used the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast as I was busy elsewhere the rest of the time. I was given an extra set of clean towels during my 2 night stay. The breakfast was very good, a typical continental breakfast but there was always plenty of cereal, fruit, breads, meats and cheeses. My only criticism (and it’s really not the hotels fault) is that the area around the hotel does not feel totally safe. There was some guys (not hotel guests) hanging about at the entrance to the hotel smoking cannabis was on my first night and I seemed to attract the attention of creepy non-European men in the area. Ladies, please stay away from the shop within Charlottenburg S-Bahn Station close to the hotel; there was a really horrible guy working in there who said sexual things to me whilst I was just trying to buy water.

1.3km from Le PistouLovely little hotel, clean and neat, the room was bigger than we expected with a little balcony. We thought we had booked a room with a hot-tub, but we got a room with an extremely tiny shower room. We were only there for one night so didn't mind. Lots of restaurants in the same street, we ate dinner on valentines night at Alberts on the corner which was amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There was a public transport strike in the morning which delayed our sightseeing a bit but allowed us to walk really far getting a good feel for this interesting city. There was wifi which was a bit slow but we could still communicate effectively. I regret not having breakfast which was only 11 euros - next time.
1.33km from Le PistouThe good: the place is conveniently located near the U7 line and has a supermarket next door open until 23h - which is REALLY handy. Frank B. from the front desk is AMAZING. He should get an award or some sort of recognition from the management, as he does anything to make sure the guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Other staff members were nice (with the exception of one young guy who was borderline rude). After a 15 day stay, you eventually meet everyone working there. Breakfast was good, but I found that for EUR$ you are better off eating somewhere else. However, it is handy to have it there in case you need/want to grab something before starting your day. The bed and bathroom were clean and the housekeeping service worked really well. The bad: The place could use some renovation. Stained carpets with mold/dust smell made me have a hard time staying there. I saw myself obligated to stay out until late hours most of the days, simply because my allergies wouldn't leave me alone there. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room. The wifi was a joke! It was available, but it was impossible to even do simple things such as texting or checking email. I was there to work, hoping to have skype calls afterhours (due to time difference), but unfortunately, it was impossible. The smelly carpets and lack of wifi just made my stay there much less pleasant than what t could have been. I regretted not paying maybe 10-20eur more and stayed in a slightly better place. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel is a good choice.

Breakfast is okay, but it is still more monotonous than the domestic hotel. The location is very good, the entrance is the Potsdamer Platz, there is also a subway station, the Brandenburg Gate, the Parliament Building, the Berlin Shopping Center are very close, and there is a Mobai at the door, very convenient. There are also other companies sharing bicycles with children's seats, but the QR code can't be scanned. I don't know how to use them, but the hotel has a bicycle with a child seat for rent, 30 euros a day, 15 euros a day. To the northwest of the hotel is a large Tiergarten park, which is in a good environment with trees, grass and water.
Our room on the 13th floor was standard category. Spartan in decor, purely functional in layout, the room was clean, the tv worked and it had a minibar plus good view . No tea or coffee making facilities but that might just be a Radisson feature. However, when I needed help in checking in on line for a flight home, the wonderful lady at the Customer Relations desk was just amazing. I never established her name, but think her surname was 'Williti'. She is absolutely a gem and patiently managed to get us check-in with EasyJet, and printed out our boarding cards. Thank you so much. My wife and I were then treated to a trip to the 37th floor to enjoy the magnificent views. It was a very kind gesture and one we won't forget. I hope Radisson Alexanderplatz management appreciate they have a star on their team.
The Riu Plaza is a 4-star place owned by the Spanish Riu chain, obviously aimed primarily at business and conference people. But it's a good place to stay for holidaymakers too. - Very well located in Schöneberg, 150 metres from Wittenbergplatz (and a little further to Nollendorfplatz in the other direction), so pretty easy access on the U-bahn to almost everywhere, and only 1 stop from Zoo Garden terminal for airport buses. - large, airy rooms, with good views (we were on 16th floor), comfortable bed, excellent and spacious shower and good bathroom in general, fast lifts - a good bar, with friendly bar and wait staff, and not overpriced, just off the reception desk area - generally friendly and efficient front desk staff (but see further on) - not expensive, at least in winter; we paid only just over 100 euros a night, which is good value Its flaws are minimal, but...: - Breakfast is too expensive. Sure, it has all the usual breakfast buffet stuff, but it significantly adds to the cost of the holiday to cough up 19 euros pp each day (we stayed 4 nights). Having just come from an excellent central hotel in Lisbon, where we had an excellent breakfast for 12 euros pp each morning, it seemed excessive, so we settled for a nearby cafe each day. - Make sure you put the 'do not disturb' sign on your door each day if you don't want to get up early. The first day we were there, Monday, having arrived in Berlin at half past midnight, we were woken up at 8.45 am by a cleaner banging on the door. Happened again at the same time a couple of days later when we forgot to put the sign out. Sorry, when you're staying for 4 days, there's no reason to clean the room that early - and I blame the management, not the cleaners, who just do what they're told. - Some of the staff are a little slapdash. E.g., the kettle in our room had been ruined by an idiot previous occupant trying to use it as a coffee perculator, so there was a baked-on layer of coffee on the bottom of it. On our way out the next morning, we took it down to the front desk - the guy there actually asked us to take it back up to our room on the 16th floor, and assured us it would be replaced by the cleaners. When we returned from sightseeing 6 hours later, guess what - the ruined kettle was still there in our room. Fail! I know this is a 1st-world problem, but the original front desk guy should have just taken the kettle and organised to get it replaced. When we took it down again, this time the woman on the front desk took it from us, and a short time later a new kettle was in our room. I don't want to criticise the place too much, as it was pretty good overall and we'd stay there again. But it felt a little impersonal, and while most of the staff were excellent, some were not well-trained or motivated enough to deal properly with issues, relatively minor though our's were. Thus, it gets 4 stars, not 5.
A particularly good hotel is a German hotel chain. It didn't have breakfast. It seemed very expensive. The hotel location is very good. It is just 5 minutes walk from the Berlin train station, and there are many subways and buses nearby. The hotel rooms are particularly large and clean, with a domestic 4-star feel. Front desk service is average, English needs to be improved, check-in time cannot be advanced, and luggage can be stored for free. The hotel also offers a free German bus day card, which can save a few euros a day. Especially affordable. Highly recommended. The pictures were taken by me in real life, I hope they can help everyone.
We had our honeymoon at Siam Kempinski Bangkok and we really love it. We booked that hotel because our fave restaurant is situated there, sra bua by kiin kiin. So for our first Yr anniversary, we decided last minute to have weekend in Eastern Germany and try 1 night in Aldlon kempinski and decide later on if we will extend 1 more night or drive somewhere again. My husband was so excited for this stay because of what we experienced in Bangkok. So we checked in today and was given room 302.sadly it was facing the back part of the hotel, with scaffoldings/construction site and smoking area for staff. Wanted to let it pass and just close the curtain but I'm sad thinking how excited my hubby was for this stay. I checked our agoda booking and it stated executive room with street view. So gathered my courage and called reception while hubby was parking the car. As soon as I asked if they have a better view room, I was told that the rate is higher as it is a different room type. When I mentiond about the street view stated by agoda, was then told to wait and he will call back if there is an availability. Male staff called back, I think aryan, saying a staff is on the way to assist. We waited 10 mins not touching anything, to be considerate. Moved to 338.okay Street View indeed. But nothing special. But at least no scaffolding. Not complaining coz that was the booked room. But still dreaminh how beautiful Siam was. Lol. Just wondering if this time of pandemic all the rooms are booked out? If not maybe give the best rooms to guests who takes the risk to travel? Just an opinion (of course to guest's advantage) :D So anyway, even though we are a couple, 338 has 2 single beds joined together but weren't stabilised. When my husband sat on one bed, it kinda moved or rolled. We stared at each other and just laughed it out. We couldn't be bothered calling again to ask for a room change nor someone to fix it. We just want to sleep in tonight and check out tomorrow. Thanks to aryan for calling back to check if we are happy with the 2nd room. He offered to send someone to check on the bed issue but hubby was really tired of the long drive, we couldn't be bothered. Still love kempinski. Maybe not to stay here again, but, next time we come back once sra bua is operating again. Lesson learned, don't expect too much.
We went over to Berlin to celebrate our anniversary as a family. Stayed for 3 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is very good as you have restaurants and cafes all around the hotel within walking distance and right downstairs you have a huge supermarket to buy all your daily needs or like me shopping for great items to bring back home to try. The staff at the hotel are very nice and friendly. I want to say thank you to Guest Relation Manager Rika Hundrack for helping me arrange a special surprise for my husband to make our stay a little bit more special! We also went to the gym it is well equip. Rooms are a good size the kids (ages 14 and 11) enjoyed their privacy in the bunk beds room and us too. Just a tip will be nice to have a few more english channels or maybe have the option to change languages in some of the programs. Other than that i cannot think of anything else. As for those who are drive to Berlin there is hotel parking but also free parking outside the hotel just double check with staff which area its on the street where there is a fish cafe is located. Thanks again Mercure MOA Berlin.
