0.06km from Le PoincareWe were forced to cancel our trip due to the pandemic and Hotel Longchamp was the only accommodation that would NOT work with us on obtaining a refund OR even letting us change our dates to one year later. They did offer us to pay a change fee to change our dates a few months later but didn't offer this until less then one week before our planned stay which was too late to coordinate with the rest of our already rescheduled trip. Hotel Longchamp had ignored all communication with us when trying to deal with this in a timely manner. Our experiences with all our other various flight and hotel reservations etc really worked with us to refund or move our dates to a later time that all syncs up all in the same trip. For this reason, I CANNOT recommend this hotel. They find any reason to KEEP your money and do not work with you to change it to reasonable future dates or offer any type of refund during a global pandemic. If you do plan to stay here I highly suggest you do not pay in full upfront.
0.09km from Le PoincareI booked two rooms for my parents, my son and I at this hotel, based solely on its location near the clinic where my six year old was to have surgery. It's a beautiful neighborhood, with everything you could need nearby (pharmacy across the street, little market at the corner, and restaurants). The front desk, Adel, was very welcoming and put us in rooms right next to each other. He knew us by name and always had a way of making my son feel special and encouraging him for the surgery. At breakfast (which was great and varied, with delicious bread, cheese, pastries, etc), they even turned on cartoons for him! The rooms are well appointed and quiet (we were street facing, but slept really well), very nicely done and comfortable. In the breakfast room, there is complementary hot drinks and small bites in the evening, which were put to good use by me after we came back from the clinic. I was sniffling a bit from the experience of my son's surgery, and Adel once again, very thoughtful and considerate, checked on me and asked about how the surgery went. It was all in all a very welcoming, very homey feeling which was so very appreciated given the circumstances of our stay. The Hotel Palais de Chaillot will be "our" place in Paris going forward, for sure. Thanks you again, Adel, for being so good to us.

0.15km from Le PoincareWe stayed at this hotel as we attended a seminar at the International Chamber of Commerce HQ, which was just about a 5-minute walk. The location was perfect and the Trocadero Metro stop was just across the street and the hotel had a good view of the Eiffel Tower. There were also a lot of good restaurants around that served a variety of cuisine, from Chinese/Thai, to Italian, to Irish and of course, French. Convenience stores were also nearby. The room was not too small considering other Paris hotels. The bathroom was also quite spacious and did not feel cramped. Wifi worked ok for the duration of our stay. It also had a place where luggage can be stored in case of early arrival or departure from the hotel after checkout. The hotel though might not be suited for light sleepers because of the busy traffic below but it was not really a problem for me. Overall, I really enjoyed staying at this Best Western and would consider this for future trips to Paris.

0.16km from Le PoincareCitadines Trocadero is one of the perfect places to stay....Just few steps from Trocadero place where you can enjoy the fabulous view of Eiffel Tower and have many restaurants and bars. I have booked a studio and arrived late at the hotel. Michel, the night receptionist was very kind and professional ! Thank you to all your team ! The check-out was very smooth and Genara was so nice. :) I would like to thank you to Silvia as well who had taken care of my reservation and for her kindness. I will definitely come back with friends ans family. Happy New Year !
0.16km from Le PoincareWill strongly recommend this hotel. Location is great, near Trocadero, easy walk to most relevant Parisian places like the Eiffel Tower, the Arc of Triomphe, and Champs Elysee. I have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times! Rooms are tiny, as everything in Paris, but really clean and nice. Staff is great and helpful. There is a Carrefour supermarket close to the hotel that is a plus for quick groceries.

0.17km from Le PoincareThe hotel is full of hotels, more than half a month in advance, the deluxe room does not include breakfast for more than 2,200 nights. Because of the bad evaluation before, I specially contacted Ctrip before the stay, emphasizing not to arrange a light block or drip room, Ctrip The customer service told me that the telephone hotel has been specially emphasized, so that I can stay at peace of mind. The result was still the worst room on the first floor, and the windows were all messy trees. I contacted Ctrip for the next day and changed to the 7th floor. I really feel tired. Guests are required to change rooms during the stay. In addition, the hotel window can not be opened, only air conditioning, these Ctrip are now not marked. When I left, I was smashed by the hotel. The hotel told me that they called the car to go to the Charles de Gaulle airport for a fixed price of 57 euros. If you were afraid of being pitted by someone else, let the hotel call the car. The hotel called a Mercedes Benz. As a result, the airport became 70 euros. The driver insisted that his car was big, and he had to go to 70 euros. It was nothing to go out of the house, but the hotel managed by Accor was also boring.
0.17km from Le PoincareMeet the four-star, excellent location, not far from the subway station, walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, surrounding shops, restaurants, quiet, next to Carrefour community store, rich items; breakfast is rich, pure Western , Coffee, tea are available, the service is in place (the waiter helps you prepare coffee and related according to your requirements), honey, cheese, a variety of yogurt, etc.; the room is small, each room is furnished with a little art design coffee table or sofa, enough It’s not big enough. If there are too many boxes, it’s not easy to put. There is heating and no extra bed. We have children. We booked a few rooms. Each child has a bed. There is a small courtyard. It’s easy to park. In short, it is quite satisfactory. LP said that he will come to live next time, the price is relatively expensive, basically white.
0.26km from Le PoincareChoosing a hotel in Paris can be overwhelming. We selected this one due to its location and Marriott affiliation. Could not have been happier. We visited some of the huge hotels in other areas of the city, and we’re glad to be able to return to this small, peaceful hotel in a wonderful building (or buildings?). A short distance to Eiffel Tower, the Arc and other attractions. Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance, and even a few supermarkets to stock up on supplies. Staff was great...friendly and helpful. No complaints here.
0.26km from Le PoincareWe stayed at this hotel as Gold status Accor members staying in a junior suite which was upgraded at check in. We also received our welcome drink vouchers. Due to Covid this hotel has enhanced cleaning in place and I have to say it was spotless. Plenty of hand sanitiser and protocols in common areas. Breakfast is continental only at the moment but still very good. We had room service one night and the bar menu has a limited but tasty range of food available. All staff members were excellent, we loved the amenities including Hermes toiletries. After months of lock down we were glad to be treated to a luxurious stay at this hotel.
0.29km from Le PoincareThe Villas is what I consider “my home away from home.” I stayed here for 5 days in November, and the experience gets better every single time. We were greeted with a smile and speedy check-in by the receptionist Margaux, and welcomed to champagne with chocolates in our room to celebrate my mom’s birthday by Paula, the hotel manager. In our first visit to the Villas in September 2018, I mentioned in my TripAdvisor review that there weren’t any English channels, and during this visit there were! So, it’s nice to know the Villas takes their guests requests seriously. Not only that, but Paula was very helpful in providing valuable recommendations to restaurants, and exhibitions such as Atelier des Lumières (which was amazing and only 14 euros to experience Van Gogh’s amazing artwork in illumination.) I had the privilege of meeting the owner of The Villas, Mrs. Ingrid, and she knew that “I was the guest from Hawaii”, and that made my visit even more special. Our room was equipped with robes (which I’m a sucker for), mini fridge full of drinks, coffee maker, and a view of rue du Bouquet de Longchamp. We had breakfast added into our accommodations, and lucky for us we were able to enjoy croissants every day with fresh fruits, cold cuts, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The Villas itself is around the corner from a famous street called Kleber, where you’ll find pharmacies, Monoprix (small grocery store), restaurants, patisserie, the GAP, and so much more. The hotel is also a few minutes’ walk to several metro lines such as Iena (4 minutes), Trocadero (6 minutes), and Kleber (10 minutes). Trocadero offers amazing views of the Eiffel Tower, and makes for a great run in the morning! We have enjoyed our stay with the Villas, and will definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers! Merci Villas des Ambassedeurs!

0.31km from Le PoincareVisited this hotel as a birthday treat for my birthday on the 3/2/20 . on Arriving at Charles de Gaul airport, got a taxi to this hotel, tip, write your hotel address on a card and give this to your driver, took about 45 mins, the prices are preset for the area, cost us €55 . The hotel is in a residential area, we were treated at the door, and our bags were taken to the room, the hotel receptionists are all lovely so helpful, and spoke English ! Our room was on the 5th floor , the rooms are small , but it’s what I expected in a city . There is free WiFi throughout the hotel, there is a tv, but couldn’t find anything in English . Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, but you only get sachets on your first day, so bring your own or buy some! Must say I was a little surprised by this, most hotels replenish tea and coffee daily one small bottle of water is also provided. There is 24 hour room service, breakfast buffet for €22 which we didn’t use, as we thought a little expensive, for a continental breakfast. There is a small gym on the -1 floor, where the dining area is also located. The shower soaks the floor when it’s used, and is over a bath. The hotel is in an ideal location, easy walking distance to the trocodero area, the Eiffel Tower, boat trips on the Seine , hop on buses, and the metro. There are plenty of cafes, bars here. There is a wonderful cake/ bread shop next to the hotel, open mon/fri , cheap and delicious!! Thanks to the hotel staff , so helpful!
Hotels Near Le Poincare In Paris Review
Stayed 9 nights. Got a room in the 5' floor with balcony. Small but very nice. Superb location, some 20 m. from the Rue Rivoli on a quiet small street. No noise at all. Meters from St. Jaques Tour and the Hotel de Ville (Municipality). Exit from the Hotel de Ville Metro station, exit Rue Coutellierie, has mechanic stairs till the street which is not so common. For elderly people, or with baby trolleys, etc. is perfect. Walking distance from Forum des Halles, Louvre, Pompidou Center, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, etc. Everyone speaks english. Stephan speaks Spanish as well. Very nice and helpful good looking and cooperative guy. Completely refrubrished. Insulated walls prevent from any noise from other rooms or street which is anyway very quiet. Beautiful, small bathroom. Small but has everything. New furniture. Wooden floor. New and very good quality of towels. Very good heating. Kettle and coffe machine in the room. Now cons: not everything is bright: The room is perfect but very very small. Has very little shelves and room for clothes. Beautiful but extremely small. Need to improve exterior entrance which is brown, dark, and old, leaving a not nice impression. Nice and clean lobby but outside look, needs improvement. Same with the corridors rugs. I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends, those who don't mind to stay in a very small room - but very nice and pleasant.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
In Christmas 2019 in France, I ordered a Superior King Room (with sofa bed). The size of the room is already relatively large in Paris. The two 24-inch boxes can be spread out and can be used at the same time.
Hotel location: In the 1st district, about 10 minutes from the Louvre if not. The entrance of the hotel is Line 1 and Line 14 subway stations, which is very convenient (although we happened to strike in France when we went there, the subway stopped ... But it is very convenient to live here if you come here to play). There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel downstairs, from McDonald's to Italian French and Japanese. There is also a 10-minute walk from St. Eustache Church. The church will have an organ show around 5pm on Sunday, which is worth a look.
Room facilities: There is a kettle (I originally brought a portable kettle, but the boiled water has white foam. In the end, I can only use the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel's kettle is quite clean. The shampoo and bath are two in one. Washing hands and washing face in one. The smell is very comfortable. It doesn't dry out after washing.
Breakfast: Special! do not! it is good! We stayed in Paris for 5 nights. One of the most anticipated daily is the hotel breakfast. There are various types of bread such as ham, bacon, cheese, and baguettes. The best thing is their croissant and small square chocolate filling. The bag has a particularly crispy outer skin, and the inside is very soft. The fruits are also cut. The oranges, kiwis, pineapples, grapefruits, bananas, and watermelons are also available. You can also squeeze the juice directly (but the grapefruit is a bit bitter and is not recommended ), The coffee machine is also self-service, there are latte, fast coffee, cappuccino, etc., hot dishes are omelet, tomato sauce, bean sauce, boiled potatoes, etc. Others are oatmeal, raspberry juice, grapefruit juice and orange juice ( Of course it's ice). If you want to eat fried eggs, you can tell the waiter that the kitchen is fried and delivered to the location.
Overall the hotel experience is very good.
Booked based on location before reading reviews so was a little nervous about what to expect. Have to say I saw no evidence of the poor maintenance shown in some photos, the public areas of the hotel and our room were in perfect order and very clean. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the front desk is manned 24x7. We arrived far too early for check-in hoping we could just leave our bags but the room was ready so they let us have it right away. They kept hold of our bags for us until an evening flight on check-out day too. The room was quite small but that's normal for the old buildings in the area. Shower was over the bath but decent pressure. Location is ideal, at the quieter end of one of the less busy streets in the Marais, so only two minutes walk from all the cafes, bars and restaurants but not too noisy. I will happily book again next time I'm working in Paris.
I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions in the past, and after a 10 year gap I returned to Paris for a few days and booked again. I was not disappointed! The location is just excellent...Pompidou is a block away, BHV literally opposite. Le Marais, Notre Dame etc. are a short stroll, and everywhere else a quick metro ride away. I was in town for work but even being tired at the end of the day, getting out to eat and sightsee in the evenings was effortless. The hotel has a contemporary boutique feel - stylish but subtle and nicely updated since my previous visits. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and my room was modern and comfortable. I opted for the express breakfast each morning, which offers juice, coffee and a selection of wonderful fresh breads and pastries. A perfect start to my day and again served by a welcoming and friendly member of staff. I can't recommend this place enough, and I will be returning on my next Paris visit!
We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of February. The first two nights were on the 3rd floor facing the street. It was significantly loud with traffic and street noise. On the third night we switched to a 4th floor room that faces the courtyard and alley. MUCH quieter. Both rooms were executive sized (larger than standard.) It was nice to have the extra room, however, there were at least two too-many pieces of furniture in each room that ate up a lot of the space! We could have done without the extra side chair and occasional table. (Or keep those two and get rid of the love seat!) It didn't help that my wife and I each had two large pieces of luggage each. The furniture is a little dated but not unsettling. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. (although the shower had a very slow drain and the pan backed up with a pool of water, yuck.) One more thing about the first bathroom: The faucets were a design of smooth chrome; so smooth that it was impossible to turn them off with wet hands! Design fail! The executive room we moved to on the 4th floor was a bit bigger, and better laid out. This one had a tub shower and workable faucets! FTW! The roof deck is NOT TO BE MISSED! One of the best views in Paris! All front desk and cleaning staff were gracious and very helpful. I would possibly stay here again if only for the location and roof top view!
