A luxurious, elegant, clean hotel. I thank all the hotel employees, in particular, Mr. Director Radwan for the good dealings with us, and the girl Iman at the reception for facilitating our requirements. I also thank the chef Boulbeba for preparing the most delicious meals for us ... and do not forget the massage at Mrs. Ghazaleh is more than wonderful ... Indeed. A hotel that deserves five stars and ten out of ten .... Najet om Rayen

When my husband and I first came here back in 2015 we loved it. Couldn't fault it. Fast forward 4 years and the hotel has went down hill. Our room view was facing parts of the hotel that had looked abandoned for years or burnt out (see pics) There was graffiti on the walls (see pics) in the halls carved in the wood. Now I know that can be tricky to remove but it just made the hotel look tacky. the carpets in the hallways were worn and smelly. The hotel just seemed to be lacking tlc. We were told on arrival they would bring us a cot for our daughter (11 months) which they left sitting in the hallway outside our room with no mattress in it. My husband had to ask reception for one which I thought was pretty poor on their part. The cot its self looked old and worn out. Don't get me wrong parts of the hotel are well maintained like the reception and the pool area (see pics) but for it being a 4 star we thought it just wasn't as good as what it used to be. The air con system in our room was loud and made screeching noises when we put it onto maximum. The balcony furniture was a mess and shabby had paint stains on them from the walls. The service however was fantastic. The maids came every day and made our beds looks lovely and the kitchen staff were amazing for us. One guy in particular (I've forgotten his name) would Always keep us a table and even decorated it with flowers and petals(see pics) Was really lovely and he was taken to our wee girl. Mini disco for kids was poor. We only took part 1 night. The female entertainer looked as though she was ready to fall asleep trying to dance along with the kids. I know they work long hours but there was lack of effort to bond with kids we found most parents were up dancing with their kids to keep them happy. The animation staff where great. They held daily pool games and interacted with all the guests. I also Had a 50 minute massage session in the hotel spa but the receptionist in the spa was moody, seemed fed up. Had a face like thunder and looked as though she would rather be elsewhere. The massage itself though was fab. Despite the dreary purchase I would recommend the spa. Overall I would recommend to stay as it is ok if your not fussy But me personally i won't return. I just didn't get the same feelings and enjoyment as I did the first time. I think it's just maybe noticing how it's less maintained in places and parts of the hotel looking poor.

According to Tunisia’s location, architecture, and friendliness, the room is one of the best hotels I have ever visited. The room is large and clean (I pay tribute to Faïza, the maid like a bee, and look at the cleanliness of the room And I thank her for the maintenance of the technicians, because they repaired the heating, they are very smiling and friendly, in addition to the Moorish cafe (I invited her as many as her colleagues), a group of young people also appeared in the animation. In the restaurant, the staff is the most helpful, and the dishes are varied, especially the "Lemlaoui" dishes made by ladies. On the other hand, the windows of the rooms are very windy due to the lack of seams.

We stayed at the Medina Solaria and Thalasso in Hammamet from March 6th to the 13th 2020 on 7 nights all-inclusive offer from Love Holidays. On arrival to the hotel, we were greeted warmly by Ines at the reception. Throughout our entire stay she provided insightful advice with warm and friendly customer service. We checked in to a lovely spacious clean well-maintained room with an ocean view. We like to express our deepest gratitude for the cleaning staff at the hotel for maintaining a very clean hotel. Each day we had a great selection of Mediterranean cuisine from the buffet. The hotel food is top notch and the service at the restaurant was very professional. The food makes this hotel a perfect all-inclusive destination. The bar service was generous. The hotel is ideally located to take several excursions. On foot we explored Yasmine Hammamet and its’ medina. We took a yellow cab to old Hammamet to buy spices and visit its’ medina. We hired a private driver to take us out to visit the following sites; the UNESCO World Heritage site - Dougga, Kairouan, El Djem Amphitheatre, El Djem Museum, Monasrtir Ribat, Sousse, the National Bardo Museum in Tunis, Cathage and Sidi Bou Said. These excursions with the private driver were taken on three separate day long trips. All in all, we had a fabulous holiday at the Medina Solaria and Thalasso and highly recommend it to anyone considering a holiday to Hammamet, Tunisia. Thank you very much Medina Solaria and Thalasso for making our holiday a very special memorable one.

Large hotel well located on the coast of Hammamet, the children took advantage of the heated swimming pool, great entertainment in the evening around the swimming pool and also inside, the food was good, however the staff were not very smiling, not very welcoming and not available, the rooms and bedding that makes you want to sleep, tv from the old millennium and the bathroom that has no have the category of a 4 * and they need to be renovated.

The hotel’s free parking is actually just parking on the side of the road without the police to copy the card. When I checked in, I sent local black tea and small snacks, and the breakfast was better than OK. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the seaside and the ancient city. The whole town is clean and beautiful, and it feels comfortable to walk along the beach. The rooms are large and clean, with tiffany blue interiors and suites. There are not many people staying, especially not many Chinese. Tunisians are too curious about the Chinese. They cast curious eyes and shy smiles along the way.

My husband and I just returned from a weekend at Muses with our 17-month-old son, and everyone had the most wonderful time! Our toddler had space to run and explore around the beautiful property (all immaculately kept, just as pictured). And during the evening my husband and I could enjoy a delicious, romantic dinner alone since the baby monitor easily reached our room. The staff, Ashraf and Asma, could not have been more wonderful! They made us feel right at home the minute we arrived, offering anything and everything we needed. And the kitchen, which prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request, honestly offers the best food we've had at a B&B in Tunisia. Our favorites were potatoes and dorade filet. Order them, you won't regret it! Least I forget to mention where the home is located, nestled right up against gorgeous rustic mountains in the countryside outside Hammamet. From the front of home, you can see the sea. And behind the home are the mountains. It's truly breathtaking. And much, much more peaceful than Hammamet. It's an easy day trip for hiking in Zaghouan, and the drive around this part of the country is stunning in and of itself. We hope to come again soon, it was the perfect getaway from busy life in Tunis! Next time we hope to enjoy the pool and sauna :)

I booked at “Hotel Residence Romane” from friday 7 to monday 17 June 2019 (10 days) and I spent 304 € (30,4 €/day) with half board (breakfast and dinner) but I stayed only 3 days (until monday 10 june 2019). I paid when arrived, but she did not give me the receipt. On Sunday 9 June 2019 I said to receptionist that I leave the day after for a unexpected (I explain the really reason below), but she said me that she can not repay. During my journey there were only a few tourist in the Hotel (mainly from Tunisia). You can pay in Euro and change Euro to tunisian dinar (at Hotel Romane 1 € = 3,25 dinar tunisian, at airport 3,315 dinar tunisian). Receptionist and waiters are very nice. There is the lifter. In your room there are Wifi, phone, television, fridge and safe (safe not in every room). There is no hairdryer. In the hotel there is a market. There is also the air dresser (I cut hair for 4/5 € but I don’t advice to do that). The swimming pool is in the hotel. The gym is closed about 50 meters but it’s not included in the price. The beach is closed about 5/10 minutes walking (when I arrived cot and umbrella were not ready). Music in the swimming pool is playing all day (it’s difficult rest). I said this to the receptionist and she changed my room to an other room, but in this second room I could not sleep because the rooster sang in the night. Breakfast is not very good and dinner is strange for me that I come from Italy. I chose this hotel for the reviews on Google and Booking.com and for the price, but when I arrived here, it was not like I imagined. I booked on “Booking.com”. Taxi offers from Hotel Romane from Tunis Carthage to Hotel Romane costs 40 €. I got a shuttle with other people and I spent 20 € going and the taxi returning (you spend about one hour without traffic so pay attention to the days and hours with traffic). You can also get bus and train (I don’t have experience about). If you come from Europe remember that hygiene level is usually lower in Tunisia. I share a bad experience (that does not matter with the Hotel Residence Romane) because I hope it will not happen in the future. One afternoon I went to South Hammamet (also called “Yasmine Hammamet”). I socialised at the bus stop with a local guy. He took me to see the port. He looked like a nice guy. But at the end he met a friend and they invited me in a souvenir market. I refused and the friend looked like angry. So I went with them in the market and “I had to buy” a souvenir. They wanted selling me a lot of things so I came out with a sorry. They were saying “Don’t worry we are friend” but at the same time they sold me forced. It was very unpleasant and I was afraid. I should not enter in that market. I also speak with other people and they were honest. So I don’t think all people are like the wrong that took me at the souvenir market, but pay attention. About Hammamet city. Weather was always sunny, warm and dry. Mainly stranger tourist are from Russia and France. In gener

Visit - 3nd week of October 2019, good weather but I would recommend going at the beginning of October for good weather everyday. But it was not busy or packed there was about 20 of us and I ended up having the pools to myself most days it was so nice. Hotel Has two parts to it, one part a bit old and dated, then the other part is all modern and up to date. Has three pools adult and adjoined kids pool out side and one inside. This hotel also has a private beach area. Room We had a deluxe beach view room with balcony, and deluxe it was. Brand new loads of space, comfortable space, very clean, the house keeper left flowers in our room. Bedding changed every day. Bathroom was amazing with a high pressure shower. Clean towels everyday. Food Breakfast, lunch and dinner. No snacks in between so don't go all inclusive. The food wasn't at a 5* quality but it was OK and what expected for 3*! Entertainment This made mine and my girls holiday!!!!!!! A well deserved 5* There was one person that I will never forget who made our stay very very enjoyable her name was Sana, she always made sure me and the girls was ok included us in all activitys, would even come and look for us around the complex to see if we wanted to join in and tell us about the entertainment in the evening. Even at night when she was willing to stay and up to entertain all the guests. Overall would I go back again, yes I would.

Ok we was here back in January this year for only 1 week and loved everything about it, this time we are here for 15 days and we absolutely love it here the hotel is our place to relax and unwind, Sonia and the other reception staff are always on hand if you ever require anything, Chadi and the rest of the bar staff can never do enough for you, the restaurant staff from the 2 mangers, waiters and to all the chefs well done we have never had such great food in a all Inclusive hotel before. The pool areas are extremely nice to relax around and the grounds are always immaculately kept the gardeners are always doing something, the last time we was here I only rated as a 4 star as so.erhings required tweeking and updating well now I feel so happy to be able to rate it a 5 star as these are well on there way, alot of rooms have been or are being refurbished. When you are here please book some trips from Chorki and ask him to have Frouze do your tour I can not rate Frouze high enough he goes up and beyond for you! more people have got to see this country. Dont forget to pop outside the hotel and jump into a cab to Yasmin hammamet or Hammamet medina there great places to grab bargains, yes be prepared to be asked to look into there shops etc but this is a huge part of there culture we found it very intimidating our first trip but I love it now you have to haggle for everything and be prepared to walk away they generally will go to your last price never pay more than 1/3rd of what they are asking for the item. Also a small but very handy tip before you get out of the cab turn your wrist bands over so they can not see what hotel you are staying in as it will stop the "im a waiter / chef from your hotel" con trick to get you into their brothers shop. But definitely come and enjoy this great hotel its fantastic value.
