This is a cute little hotel in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The staff was wonderful; they were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the fashion theme as it was different from other hotels. They have a room to keep your luggage if you arrive before your room is ready. There was a young man at the front desk a couple of the days we were there who was extremely helpful with getting me my tickets for Versailles as I was having some trouble with the computer. I didn't get his name, but he went above and beyond to help me. There was one housekeeper who seemed annoyed that we were still there when she came to clean the room one day, and she asked me something in French that I didn't understand, but I just needed her to slow down. I asked her to slow down, but she assumed I didn't really know any French or only the basics. I was just about to tell her we were leaving in ten minutes, but I didn't get the chance. I will continue to work on my French so I understand better when I go back. The hotel is close to two metro stations on Metro 6 (and also Metro 7 at Place d'Italie). The Italie Deux shopping center is close by. There is an HSCB Bank in Place d'Italie, and not too far from the circle is a Franprix grocery store. There is an open air market two days a week (I think) that is just outside the hotel. It is not far from the Butte aux Cailles neighborhood, and there are a few restaurants and cafes nearby. We had some trouble figuring out the automatic dimmer for the light, but it makes for a funny story. My girls and I also enjoyed breakfast very much. I think the hotel could probably use a little updating and I might have liked the pillows to be a little fluffier, but overall it was nice. I appreciated everyone there very much, and I liked the neighborhood and would absolutely stay there again. We also felt very secure there.

The location is very good, the traffic is very convenient, the subway station is at the door, there is a big Carrefour next to it, it is very convenient to buy the ingredients, and it is very close to the Chinese restaurant. The waiter's attitude is very friendly, the apartment door is closed and managed, there is access control and access is required, and the card needs to be swiped. Free coffee and tea is available in the lobby on the first floor. The room is not big, the sparrow is small, well-organized, has full kitchen facilities, and there is no problem in starting a partnership. There is also a laundry room in the public area, which is very convenient for washing clothes.

Hotel location is very good. Opposite is the business center, supermarkets and Paris spring department stores. Transportation is very convenient. Health is also very good. We only stayed for one night. Just when I left in the morning, the elevator broke down. After waiting for half an hour, I didn’t run. I lifted the box and went downstairs...

Although managed by a supposedly reputable International Hotel / Service apartment group, this particular Citadines Apartment hotel was poorly managed. Some of the reception staff were not too familiar with the checking in procedures resulting in long delay in getting our keys to the rooms. Even the booking procedures were frustrating. I booked 2 studio rooms and paid online via my Visa card. One of the rooms were instantly confirmed and paid by Visa card while the other room was not processed eventhough I was using the same Visa card. Subsequently, I was asked to use another credit card to secure the room but again the card was declined. Finally, the room was only confirmed on the day when we arrived at the hotel and I had to pay cash for the room. We booked 2 studios and stayed 3 nights there. Will not stay there again. Very unhappy situation. Contrast it with the reservation of a nearby hotel which we stayed in upon our return to Paris from Italy. The other hotel's reservation was quick and without fuss and the rooms were new and well equipped.

I booked Hotel Verlaine by accident thinking it was Hotel Verlain - (with no “e” on the end) in another part of town. (Closed during August for vacation, too!) After two Uber rides and much embarrassment on my part we made it to this hotel where we were welcomed warmly by Elodie at the front desk. She was so friendly and gave us a brief overview of the hotel. We arrived way before check in but she had two available rooms to leave our luggage in. Both mornings when we came down she’d offer us coffee even though we weren’t eating breakfast there. In our rooms were bowls with apples! The price was great, the rooms clean, and the front desk (especially Eliodie) made you feel like you were staying at a friend’s house! She offered suggestions for a great local restaurant which we sadly weren’t able to take advantage of. The area around the hotel had great bakeries, restaurants, cafes and a grocery store and was close to the metro stop, Place D’Italy. *I think we found a new favorite hotel!!!!

We stayed for 3 nights with our two small children and their well travelled grandmother. The hotel is bare bones but provided essentials: very clean being the first priority, sparkling bathroom, and also a separate single bed or cot for each of our children in addition to our double bed. Could get to everywhere easily from the nearby Place D’Italie. There are many places nearby to grab breakfast for less than at the hotel, but it would be well priced for convenience and certainty, although we ate out.

I want to first start off by saying that this hotel is very close to the metro, the nearby shopping center, restaurants, bakeries, etc. You pretty much have everything you need within walking distance. The room was a bit small but very clean which we appreciated. The TV in the room was nice to watch the news in the morning during breakfast. Our booking price on the website included the breakfast, otherwise it is 12 euro per person. The first two mornings of our stay we ordered it to the room and on the final morning we ate downstairs. I was a little surprised to see how many more options were available downstairs, but weren't made available to us on the menu used to order to our room. We had no idea there was sliced meat, cheese, eggs, cereal, etc. I think it would be nice to add those items to the breakfast menu that is brought to the rooms. My only other complaint is the kitchen staff at the breakfast buffet were a bit rude to us. We sat in a booth that was located close to the kitchen and the young lady with the dark red colored hair complained directly to us for choosing to sit there. If the table isn't for guests, maybe put a sign indicating that? Towards the end of our meal, she stood there staring at us with a not so friendly look on her face, probably waiting for us to leave. We felt like a nuisance and couldn't really enjoy our breakfast. As someone who has worked several years prior in the hospitality industry, I was a bit shocked. I would definitely consider staying again if we can order the full menu to the room to avoid the hostile experience.

This is a lovely hotel, very personal, very comfortable, very peaceful. How could it not be with its own garden, and right across the street from a park, Rene Le Gall? We have finally found our Paris hub. The13th arr. is quiet, but there are lots of restaurants and cafes within an easy walk from Le Vert-Galant (should you ever stray from the hotel's own delicious Basque restaurant, where even President Macron has eaten). It's close to the Metro, the Paris bus (a one-bus ride from the Gare de Lyon). The staff were invariably helpful, friendly, English-speaking, and part of the great charm of this delightful place. Our room had a tiny, discreet kitchenette, so if one had a baby, it would be perfect. (We just used it for luggage storage.) Wondeful, stylish, comfy modern showers in spacious bathrooms. Tables and chairs for soaking up the sun or having tea in the garden. Oh, it's the perfect Paris hotel! We'll be back for sure.

Me and my partner have recently returned from a 3 night stay at this budget Parisian hotel and staying here was an enjoyable & pleasant experience! Our room was small but had everything we needed with an extremely comfortable bed & modern bathroom. My only complaint regarding the room would be that it was a little dark and could do with more lighting. During our stay at this hotel all staff I encountered spoke very good English and were always happy to help. They made my trip more enjoyable. In terms of travel, the hotel is only a 15 minute metro journey away from many major tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre museum & Notre Dame cathedral whilst being around 40-45 minutes via Metro from CDG Aeroport. Hotel des Ecrivains is situated at Place d'Italie within the 13th arrondissement and is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets etc. This area however isn't touristy so can be daunting if your not willing to have a go at speaking basic French. If your looking for a budget hotel option in the inner city centre of Pairs with a non touristy feel then this is one you should certainly consider. I will be staying again on my next visit to Paris.

My first stay at Coypel and certainly not my last. The reception staff was VERY friendly at all times of the day !!!!. Room was clean and comfy. Toilets clean. My only issue was that the shower cubicle was far far too small and I could barely move in that space when showering. Ideal locality and very close to the Metro which was a bonus. The Hotel is next to the Police station and so safety +++ out there at any time of day. That was also another reason i selected this particular hotel. All in all a comfortable experience. Merci Hotel Coypel !!! Ayobowan de Sri Lanka

My sister and I have just returned home after a 3 night break at hotel kyriad and we were both impressed with the hotel from the moment we arrived. We arrived at the hotel much earlier than the check in time and luckily our room was ready which was amazing as it was a very hot day so we were eager to get changed and freshen up. It's easy to find from the airport. Take the REL and change onto the metro which has a stop 5 mins away from the hotel itself. The cost of a ticket from the airport is €10.30 and that covers your whole journey. Much cheaper than a taxi! The room itself was clean and comfy. Not overly massive but perfectly accessible. The lift works also! Shower room was a little small but again was perfectly adequate for our stay. Memory foam pillows and a comfy mattress was welcomed. We had double doors to open which allowed plenty of air flow and a fan was provided. There is aircon but we didnt need it. The hotel overlooks apartments which you can clearly see the neighbours but was fine as long as you didnt walk around naked in the room 😜 We had breakfast included which was worth it lots of beautiful fresh pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheeses etc etc. Which set us up for the day. We were able to access all the major attractions, Eiffel Tower, arc de triomphe etc via the metro. A single one way ticket takes you anywhere within paris for €1.90 or you can buy 10 tickets for €14.50 All in all we found our stay to be pleasant and would stay here again for the location. There is a supermarket about 1 min away which you can get snacks etc. Thank you for making our stay lovely.

Cons: Terrible WIFI! Really annoying in an Ibis. Had to use my phone data the whole weekend. Room (710) is tiny but not a big deal if you have a minor amount of luggage like we did. No hand towel in the bathroom. Also terrible shower design in that the glass partition is not long enough so floor tends to get wet. Pros: comfortable bed, sockets right by the bedside and curtains that blocked out the light pretty effectively. Great water pressure in the shower and a “save the towels for the environment” policy. Don’t mind the recycle toilet paper as part of that ethos. Quiet hotel as well. Neighborhood has great bakeries and small “sport” park nearby for a nice run- Kellerman. Easy access to local metros to get into centre in about 25 minutes.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

I regret the booking of this hotel. The gentleman at the service desk when I checked in was incredibly rude and condescending throughout the process. The room was as small as expected however the beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. The shower had minimal pressure. The AC whenever it was turned on left a gathering of dust over everything in my room. Whilst it is located quite a distance from the centre, there are several stations close by which is handy, unfortunately the food options close by the hotel are terrible. I left the hotel after three nights instead of the five I had booked and paid for.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.
