We use the hotel for 60 years. Reasonable and good, but recently I was disgusted with Toyoko Inn. The reason is that the bed quality is not good and the service breakfast is not good. This hotel was chosen in the location. The front desk response and price are good, but the rooms also felt narrower than the general Toyoko Inn. I walked from the new Otsuka of Marunouchi line, so there was a little 々 distance.

This is a 4 days and 3 nights trip. I originally booked the same hotel for the first 2 days and had to change hotels on the third day. However, in order to save time when changing hotels, I temporarily booked an extra night. The change of rooms and check-in was also very smooth. Using trip is also very satisfying. Quite reassuring.

Both the location and service were great ☺️ It is about 5 minutes walk from the north exit of Otsuka Station. You can go to the central city immediately! I stayed in a single smoking room. Of course, there are residual cigarette incense, so if you are interested, we recommend a mask or non-smoking room indoors. Amenities are toothbrushes and toothpaste, shaver. There is also a toothpaste cup. I brought a cotton swab. I didn't have hand soap, but I washed my hands with shampoo and rinse, because I had body soap. I think it is perfect for staying without meals because the surrounding environment is good.

5F No smoking, 13 ㎡ with loft, so if you are one person, you will stay without any problems. It is always clean and the price is cheap. It's the same as usual, but the face towel smells like something. I felt every time I used it several times, so I thought there was something wrong with the cleaning shop about the towel on this day. Well, that's all, but I was very satisfied with sleeping well.

The room was relatively spacious and comfortable. The convenience of the bathroom was also good. I turned off the heating, but it was hot. The lights in the mirrors that turn on automatically are dazzling at night. The food was delicious. The staff were nice too. After 18:00, there is an additional charge for parking every 30 minutes.

The location is particularly good, stay at the exit of Otaru Station for one minute, the room is large, it is a very cost-effective kind in Japan, the facilities are complete, the sound is good, the window is a little stuffy, but after all, it is an adult hotel, the privacy is very good, especially the couple is especially recommended

I ended up staying here after taking a hard look at my itinerary for a recent solo trip and wondering if it would be possible to forego the nicer hotels I had stayed at in Tokyo last November (and which, as part of Japan’s excitement about welcoming tourists again, have since quadrupled in price) and instead experience a cheap, clean, cute place for the more budget-minded traveler. For the most part, I was right. The OMO hotels (the higher the number, the nicer it is) are owned by Hoshino, so it is still stylish and trendy, and even when corners are cut, it’s done in a way that feels modern and cool. For instance, the hotel lobby - on the fourth floor abutting a Sizzler - is decked out in a theme that references the old cable cars in Otsuka, and there are manga, vintage city pop albums and souvenirs for sale everywhere you look. Check-in is mostly automated, though staff are there to help guide you through the process. On the way to the elevators you can grab some amenities like toothbrushes/toothpaste, combs, etc and rent pajamas. In these ways - and many others, mentioned below - the hotel feels a bit like a hostel, albeit a super cute one. The rooms themselves are as quirky as the lobby, with a weird but hyper-designed layout: storage is along the walls to maximize the tiny space, the sink takes up half the hallway, and the majority of the room is built out like a large bunk bed: there’s a large futon style sofa on the bottom and a narrow set of steep stairs up to the loft with two small futons for sleeping, with signs urging you to be careful not to hit your head. Indeed I spent my four days there walking around bent over and trying not to accidentally die when I had to gingerly climb downstairs to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The layout may have contributed to the noise above me that I suffered throughout my stay. But the heavy stomping around felt explainable when I climbed up to my own bed and had to collapse down onto the bed from the stairs in the cramped space. There was unfortunately also a lot of yelling and running through the hallways but that’s likely attributable to just the kind of tourists looking for a cheap place to stay in Tokyo (of which I guess I was one). There doesn’t seem to be a cleaning crew. So if you need anything - from new towels to dumping the tiny trash can, which is likely to fill up in a couple days due to the absence of public trash cans in Tokyo - you’ll need to ask the front desk, who pull double duty here. In fact, when my heated Toto washlet wasn’t working, two separate front desk staff came up with tools to try and fix it. Unfortunately they never were able to. However they were very helpful when I accidentally forgot my room card and were able to provide a temporary one without needing to charge me. Breakfast is terrific, if simple. You get a choice of an American breakfast or a variety of hearty Japanese breakfasts like salmon ochazuke and you get a small onion soup and sal

If you leave the north exit of Otsuka Station, there is a hotel in front of you. It is close to the downtown area where restaurants are lined up, and the location is not the best. I'm glad to have a welcome drink coffee. Breakfast is free with bread and boiled *, soup 3 types, etc. I think it's enough if you don't ask for luxury. The room (single) feels a bit narrow and there is no closet, but if you don't ask for ”relax in the room” just by sleeping, there is no problem. However, it was inconvenient that there was no outlet on the pillow.

It only takes 10 minutes from the B&B to Shinjuku in Wang District, which is a good choice! Our family of 5 people (2 large and 3 small), the room was very clean, as the photo introduced on Trip.com; There is a large room with 2 double beds and the other room with a double bed, which is just enough to sleep in the larger room than 3 children. The homestay provides toothbrushes, shaving cream, shower gel, shampoo, moisturizer and basic tea bags and coffee. And the same good thing is that he can cook there, and I will book this one next time! Also make a Shabu Shabu!

Not far from Takadanobaba Station, about 200 meters away, it is relatively easy to find. There are many delicious shops around the downstairs, as well as many *****tores, small supermarkets, and several small shops specializing in Chinese products. The hotel is clean and tidy , the disadvantage is that the room is very small, it is estimated to be only about ten square meters including the bathroom, but this is normal in Japan, and overall the price/performance ratio is relatively good.

Great location, great hotel, and wonderful service! Family of four, we booked a double and it was a nice room with two double beds. Although a bit small, it was fine for us and we were happy to have a microwave, etc that made it feel homey. The hotel was quiet, the a/c good, and the water pressure strong. The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from the Hachioji Eki and all the various conveniences there. Staff was very nice, check-in was smooth and quick, and check-out was as simple as dropping off our card key. We mistakenly left a pair of pajamas in the room and the wonderful staff was able to locate it and send it to us, already in another prefecture, the next day. Thank you so much!! This kindness will not be forgotten and we would love to return to this hotel the next time we visit the area.

With any brand new hotel you expect a few hiccups, but my layover stay at the Metropolitan Haneda didn’t have a single one. Easy access from Haneda via the monorail (one stop away) and a short walk from the station to the hotel front door. Helpful staff, easy check in, efficient room with a comfy bed and one of the best hotel showers I’ve experienced. This was a great way to spend my 16 hour layover in Tokyo. Breakfast was included in my very economical room charge and included Western and Asian fare. Scrambled eggs were not as hard-cooked as most Americans like them, and much of the hot food needed to be kept warmed a little more than it was, but all in all a good buffet.

This is my first time renting a residential hotel🫣🫣so I thought the code sent by Trip.com was the password to get the key. From daylight to dark😓We spent several hours but couldn’t get the key, and we couldn’t contact anyone Relevant people help 😞 When I went there, I wanted to give up at 11:00 in the evening, but I was so embarrassed that I found the customer service agent of Trip.com. Luckily, the customer service staff responded to my phone very quickly, although I finally had to get the password for me at midnight , but at least I don’t want to live on the street 🥲🥲🥲But after this experience, I will definitely not rent these hotels again. I don’t feel at ease because no one has handed over them. In the end, the hotel replied that there is a send password for me, but what I received is exactly It was only sent to me at 11:17 on the night of 2/4, and I have not received it before. On the contrary, the hotel sent to fill in all the information of the owner and the insurance related information, and I received it😞😞😞 Really disappointed, but I am used to good reviews It’s just that I feel uncomfortable when I find a problem and I don’t want to solve it immediately and I want to continue to push the problem on the other party😓

This is really about a 3-4 minute walk once you leave Tokyo Station, take Yaesu Central Exit. Once you cross the big street outside the station, it is only one block to a set of lights, left a very short ways, then right 2 or 3 doors, check in is on the 2nd floor (2F). There are signs in English high up and near the entrance. We stayed twice this trip. Check in was prompt. We had a twin room, 2 single beds. The rooms were very clean small as expected, so 2 beds worked better, nobody sleeping against the wall. Everything we needed, fridge, two pillows each (soft and hard), kettle, tea, coffee, TV, good lights, wifi, hangers, pants press, great soaps, shampoo and nice towels. Also, pajamas. There was a microwave and ice near the front desk area. We stayed a second time and the both rooms were identical except for the view. The first one had a view of building construction underway next to our hotel with a small bit open to see the weather. The second was higher up and overlooked the new building next to it. Not sure if that view will stay like that. A hotel view of a building next to it is common in Japan. We only slept and showered there so no view was no issue for us. There are 2 Family Marts and a 7-11 about 3-4 minute walk away also, plus other restos, more for the afternoon or night but there is a nice soba restaurant (Komoro Soba) that is open for breakfast which we enjoyed. The front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful and the next time in Tokyo, we'll plan on staying there again.

The nearest subway station is Mori****a Station. There are 2 lines, Oedo Line (1) and Shinjuku Line (2). Very strategic to go anywhere. At Exit 3 Mori****a Station, there is an elevator, but the location is a bit hidden (just follow the elevator picture instructions). So, no worries if you bring a big suitcase. From Exit 1, stay on the road about 100 meters. Anyway close. . Check-in time starts at 15:00, check-out maximum 10:00. When we arrived from Osaka at 9:00, we were allowed to use the bathroom and toilet and rest in the 3rd floor lounge until waiting for check-in time. . There are many 24-hour mini-mart around the hotel such as Familymart, 1, and Lawson. Less than 100 meters, there is also a friendly Muslim restaurant called Edo-men Kumahachi, a chain with OAK HOTEL EDO. But, it feels less suitable in our tongue. The sauce is too spicy and too thick. Please try it for yourself, wonder if it fits. . OAK HOTEL EDO is a hostel but a hotel. There is only one mixed dorm room or mix dormitory containing 5 bunk beds for 10 people. The rest are all private rooms from the 1st floor to the 10th floor (of course there is an elevator). If you are more suitable for private rooms and have budget, please check yourselves on Agoda's website. The private room is various. We are eight (6 adults, 1 teenager 16 years old, 1 9 year old child) occupied a mix dorm on the 2nd floor (room 205). At that time, there were 2 other guests joining. Yes, they allow children to stay, as long as under parents' supervision so they don't bother other guests and have to pay a normal fee. . The bed and pillows were clean and soft. The sheets and blankets are clean. Can be replaced every day but must be opened by yourself. Inside the room, there are lamp lamps, one power outlet, and two USB ports. In the mix dorm room there is a window facing the street. So there is air circulation and entering the sunlight. Facilities in the room: locker, powder room alias dressing room, complete with hair dryer even polish (must borrow to the reception), hanger, slipper, and refrigerator. There is AC and heater as well. Oh yes, the Wi-Fi is very good, the room lights are off at 23:00, the between the bunk beds are very tight if you want to throw the luggage out, but we can use the corners of the hallway. The alley can also be used for a shrine spot for shaving. Shower room there are 3, complete with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Towels are provided for rent. WC has 2, clean. . On the 3rd floor there is a kitchen, lounge, and terrace. The cooking equipment is complete. There are 3 microwaves, 2 electric stoves, complete with a bucket, a variety of pots, a soda, dkk. We cooked garlic eggs and a boil Indomie there. There is rice cooker (we tried rice), there are 2 water heaters complete with coffee, tea and sugar. There are dishes, bowls, spoons, cutlery, and cups. When the weather is bright and the wind is not too strong and the air is not too cold

We booked the large king room which provided an extremely comfortable stay for two in Tokyo! The hostel is well situated, within a five minute walk from three different metro lines, as well as various convenience and grocery stores and restaurants. The room itself was large and comfortable, although in the winter, the floor hall remained very cold. The space is modern and clean and we only once saw anyone else on our floor. There is noise from outside the building (most notably a bell that chimed at 4:30 pm), but we were able to get excellent sleep. We stayed on the seventh floor, which only had female showers, but it was not a problem to go down one flight for the male showers. The cafe provides delicious breakfast options, from a full breakfast plate to granola or a pastry. They also have decaf, which can be more difficult to find in Tokyo. The downstairs lounge is stylish and comfortable with wonderful drink and snack items (we did not have a full dinner) as well as an excellently curated playlist. Finally, the staff was always polite, helpful, welcoming, and warm! Citan is highly recommended if you do not mind sharing a shower and bathroom with others.

It is 10 minutes from the insane part of SHINJUKU station, so it's really wonderful to be close but not besieged with all that hyperstimulation. The walk is easy as it is on a main street, so you can’t get lost. Like the other MIMARUs we stayed at, this was fairly new and wonderfully clean. The lay-out is really nice as all 4 of us had some privacy. It was roomy for a sitting area, dining set, and a small kitchen (well-stocked, although we didn’t use). No view but we were on the second floor. The beds were comfy, and the kids each had a large bunk berth (probably bigger than a capsule hotel, yet had lighting and USB inside). Any family who prizes having a good bed (you are going to need it after all the walking in Tokyo) would have a really good stay.

It had air conditioning, a mini fridge and a nice bathroom. The hotel has a laundry area with washing machines and dryers. No laundry detergent needed as the machine automatically dispenses it. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I recommend going to the breakfast area on the earlier side as it gets very busy from 8-9:30. Convenience stores, cafes, and a grocery store are all nearby, along with 3 train/subway stations that allow you to easily get around Tokyo. We stayed 4 nights at the Mimaru Tokyo Hatchoburi when we travelled to Tokyo for a holiday in June 2023. The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us, and the bunk beds were an absolute delight for our two children who are aged 7yo and 5yo. There was a small dining area which I really appreciated because it provided a nice space for us to have meals at, and for the kids to be at when they colour/draw/play. As we have young children, the little kitchenette was a great plus. Location wise, the apartment hotel is a mere 3-5 mins walk to Hatchoburi Station which provided direct lines to Tokyo Station, Tsukiji Outer Market and Ginza. There are also a few convenience stores (including 7-Eleven) and eateries very nearby. There is a soba shop just at Exit 5B of the train station and I found their soba really delicious and not expensive at all. All in all, we had a super pleasant and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend if you are travelling as a family and need the extra beds. Will be staying again when we holiday next in Tokyo!

I admit, I was nervous about staying here, having read a lot of negative reviews, but I needn't have worried. The hostel was clean and quiet, in a great location (close to Shinjuku, with other stations nearby). As an introvert, I loved the self-service concept - I could check in, check out and get breakfast without having to wait for staff. Speaking of breakfast, for a free breakfast I was impressed - coffee, juice, toast, eggs and yoghurt. I found the bed really comfortable and spacious - I also appreciated having a shelf for smaller items. I found the other guests were generally quiet and respected quiet hours. I've noticed some reviews mentioning the rooms are untidy - there isn't really anywhere to store larger luggage, so it tends to get piled in any available space. Smaller luggage will fit in the bunk with you. Showers and toilets were far cleaner than I'd been led to expect from the reviews, and there were plenty of them. I liked how there were common areas for being social (kitchen and reception) and for when you wanted some quiet (coworking space and outside dorms). However, I found that sometimes the coworking would ”close” (staff would ask you to leave) without warning, so it was difficult to plan around when you could use the space and when you couldn't. If the coworking space is not going to be available during the stated hours, it would be nice to have some warning. But all in all, I would happily stay here again.

The body was narrow when standing on the washbasin (the toilet bowl (seat) immediately on the right hand of the bathtub)...So it was hard to wash the face. I stayed here alone on a trip. The room was also very beautiful and had a feeling of cleanliness. There are also necessary amenities in the lobby, As soon as you leave the hotel, there is a 24-hour supermarket and convenience store, which is very convenient. Even when I used it on a Saturday, it was a good value for money. It's a little far from Tokyo Station, but if I have the chance, I would definitely use it again, so I highly recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this room. The room was excellent with its cleanliness and the staff members were incredibly friendly. The location was also perfect, offering convenience and accessibility. However, we must mention that there was a minor issue with the hot water pot as it had a water leakage problem. Despite reporting the issue, it unfortunately remained unresolved. Nevertheless, apart from this small inconvenience, the overall experience was fantastic, thanks to the wonderful room and ideal location.

Pro - Good location. Less than a 3 mins walk from Otorri Station on the Keikyu Line if you are coming from the airport. From the hotel it is about 30mins to Yokohama on the same line southwards. Airport shuttle in the morning makes it convenient for visitors who are flying off in the morning. Cons - While we appreciate that breakfast was provided in a bento box, drinks were not included. And while it did not affect us as we were flying off in the morning, those catching a afternoon or evening flight would have to find their own way to the airport.

The very convenient self-service allowed me, who arrived in Japan in the early morning, to find a place to stay very close to me immediately. Although it was a youth hostel, the compartments were highly concealed, and earplugs and other supplies were thoughtfully prepared. You can see the care!

It's a little far from the downtown area, so you have to change from Nakano Fujimicho Station to Taya Shibuya Ginza Tokyo Station two or three times, but it was quiet and there was a pretty Gaecheon-gil in front of the station, so it was nice to take a walk. The hostel was spacious and clean, but the bathroom was narrow and it was too cold at night to be in February with one air conditioner ㅜㅜ Convenience stores, moss burgers, bakery (really delicious) are crowded around the station, so you have to walk for about 5 minutes. I am willing to visit again in the season, not in winter ^^

Located a few minutes walk from Takashima Fudo Station. It is a retro atmosphere, and the lobby makes you feel the age in the room as a swamp, but the water is renovated and beautiful. Auto lock and electric system is key inserted type. Wi-fi complete. There is also a wired LAN. I went to the telework plan, but I was able to spend it firmly.
