Normally I leave comments on my stay with Hilton Rewards, but this was BAD!!! Where to begin. The first night (Monday) was bad!! The bartender Kassey let me know immediately it was her Friday. (last day before being off). Her service really showed!! When I arrived to dining room she never acknowledge or came to my table. I waited for thirty minutes. It was ok because I still had paper work to finish from the day. Finally I got up an went to the bar to order. Lets say she was not happy. I had to basically bus my own table, go get my own refills, take food to bar, take empty bottles to the bar. This is very SAD!!! Here's a little history Monday-Friday I'm in a Hilton hotel every week. Day two I seat in the dinning room again. I waited 1 hour. Finally I called the hotel & got the front desk an was transferred. The bartender was HOT and told I should have got up and came to the bar. Needless to say the service was very bad kind of retaliation for calling the hotel. I was charged 1$ for a to-go box. I got food to go the first night NO CHARGE!!! The first two nights I ordered wings all drumettes no up charge. The third night the aggressive bartender charged me 2$ extra said I was doing to much. This was really sad because I always tip the FOOD SERVICE WELL. I TIPPED HER WELL AND THE SERVICE WAS JUST UNACCEPTABLE!!! I'M A REGIONAL CHEF AN THIS WAS JUST CRAZY. I HAVE WORKED IN FOOD SERVICE FOR 25+ YEARS AND NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. UNFORTUNATELY I REGET TIPPING SO MUCH.

We usually cabin in TN- but we decided to do a few days (4 ) here between our camping and cabin stays. Oh my, will we be back! The pool (outside) was just AMAZING for families. 1’-4.5’ with the beautiful (FAST!) slide- mushroom waterfall feature- and many tiny water features in shallow end for the littles or for us moms who don’t feel like going allll the way in lol! Towels provided- hotel was clean, pet friendly, and just perfect. We also visited the indoor pool one late night (pools are open until 11pm!) and I was also very clean and well kept…..Breakfast was very nice (served from 6-10am daily). My family was sad to leave and cannot wait to be back! Highly recommend.

On 9-11-22 at we contacted 865-429-8500 to schedule a room at Hilton Home2 Suites for our family and children, one child having special needs. We needed a kitchen, particularly a means to heat food and the ability to sleep at least one autisic child in a seperate bedroom that had a means to be seperated by a door. So we called specifically to make sure there were no surprises when we arrived as the website was confusing.... pertaining to us making sure we had the appropriate amenities and room layout. When we called the above phone number the male on the phone quickly advised all the rooms with a seperate bunk bed room were filled at the Home 2 suites, but he would check what was available at the Tru Hilton. We later learn that there is no such thing as seperate bunk bed rooms at the Home 2 Suites location and that these two hotels are right next to each other. The associate then advised that he did have a room meeting our needs at the Tru by Hilton and that it did indeed have a seperate room for sleeping and a door. We were also advised that we would have a kitchen in the room, which was reiterated throughout the call. We booked the room, for 9-12-22, with us departing the following morning, 9-13-22. On 9-12-22, while driving to the Hotel from several hours away we noted the confirmation email was incorrect stating we would arrive on the 11th and leave on the 12th and that we erroneously already had our stay. My wife called and the mistake was eventually able to be corrected allegedly for the same room and amenities. Upon arrival, we checed in and we went to our room to find that it was a single bedroom with a king bed and no seperate room, no kitchen at all. I went back down to the front desk an spoke with the staff who I will not name on here. I told them we do not have the amenities or room we were promised. I advised that it was frustrating as this was the 2nd mix up and I was concerned about being billed for the previous erroenous reservation. I was quickly lectured that this hotel is a franchise and that all the errors were the fault of ”central”. I then said if there is not a room available at this point how do we rectify this and I was advised again, this hotel was a franshise and I would have to essentially take up matters elsewhere, assumingly with this so-called ”central”. The associate then said they did find a room on another floor and issued me new room keys. I gathered our family, belongings and children all up and went from the 5th floor down to the 3rd floor to our new room. Upon entering the room we were relieved to see the additonal bunk bed room, but then quickly discovered there was no kitchen as we were promised explicitly on the phone when initially making the reservations. I immediately headed down to the front desk and stated this room does not have a kitchen, at which time, I was advised they do not have kitchens in the rooms, but they do have them at the Home 2 suites hotel. I was lectured ag

On a positive note the staff was friendly and efficient as they could be with what they had to work with....the price was great that should have been the first clue That was the only positive there was! The elevator had a toilet brush in the floor for two days and smelt like a dirty bathroom and looked like it had never been cleaned The room was twice as dirty from sink that had hair and bugs and gnats flying around to the bathtub that the drain stopper was broke and the floor that had tags from clothes from previous guest and floors in bedroom area were so dirty if you didn't wear shoes your feet were black, the bed was hard and worse of all ants were on floor and made it to bed The tv was a joke no reception on lower channels reception from channel 32 to 46 only complained to desk twice and was told that dish on top of hotel was broke and they were aware of problem Very noisey would not recommend for small children especially I have stayed at other Days Inns and they were not like this I feel that Wyndham should be ashamed to have this hotel affiliated with their name We will never go there again

I wouldn’t stay again, it was quite disappointing. When we got there, a man at the desk was having an asthma attack from the smoke smell in his room and was getting a refund. Then, a mom came out 10 minutes later stating that a group was smoking **** on the balcony around her children. When we got in our room, the comforters smelled like **** as well. Pillows were fine however, and the room itself smelled okay. The shower head was too short to wash hair, I could put my chin on it as a 5’7” female. Conveniently located with easy parking, but I would pay more and go somewhere else.

The hotel is very large, on the edge of the Pigeon Valley National Road, it is very convenient to come from the Great Smoky Mountain Forest Park. It feels that a whole lot of commercials belong to this hotel. The rooms are large and very beautiful. There are various commercial and amusement buildings downstairs. Facilities, parking is free. There is a Chinese reception at the front desk. Personally feel that the street view is better than the river view. The river view room arrived at night, a dark river. The hotel has a self-service laundry room. This is very important. At 11 o'clock in the evening, there are still many people playing outside, almost all families with children.

We had originally booked at a hotel next door, but was refused a room because we were considered local. I was booked for a musical performance, and didn't want to risk driving the 40-50 miles back home at that late hour. Arbors at Island Landing saved us from a dangerous drive back home. The room was affordable, and had a sense of luxury. From the towel critter on the bed, to the amazing ascetics of the room, We were very pleased with our experience.

This hotel has good customer service and friendly employees. The breakfast is good and they have a pancake machine. Unfortunately, the room itself, 418, and the cleaning service were not very good. The room was a 1 bedroom suite with a large spa tub. The tub was nice and shower worked well. The living room was disappointing, with no sofa but instead an uncomfortable chaise lounge. The carpet was very stained in several places. There is only one window in the three rooms so not much natural light. The bed was comfortable but the ceiling above the bed had noticeable stains. Our room was not cleaned the 7 nights we were there even though we requested service. No iron or ironing board in the room. I asked twice for one but never received it. I can not recommend this hotel and will not return.

I wouldn't pay to stay here again. Here is a list of Pros/Cons: Pros: ~Close to the Parkway ~The view of the mountains from our room was spectacular Cons: ~The hotel was dated, and tired looking including our room. Old fixtures, worn furniture in the lobby, etc ~Wifi did not work in our room on the 6th floor. ~The bed was INCREDIBLY noisy and mattress springs could be easily felt when lying down ~There were some stains on the comforter in between the sheets, looked like a bit of old blood. (looked like it had been laundered and dried on) ~The breakfast was supposed to be hot, but the heaters must not have been working since all the ”hot” items were about room temperature. There was no fresh fruit, bacon, toast, etc. Plates were styrofoam/plastic utensils. I expected better for what we paid to stay there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. It wasn't horrible, but there are definitely better options for the price point. I'm glad we only had to stay one night there.

Pleasant staff and fairly quick check in and out. The room was nothing like I expected , my fault. I looked at so many hotels I didn't pay attention to the room set up which we hated. The bed closest to the balcony doesn't get much of the air conditioning while those by the front door freeze. The water pressure is A LOT and the force splashes water everywhere from the sink that's in the middle of the room. The carpeted floor has dips and groves in the flooring underneath which is odd. The shower sprays SO HARD that even while in the shower and the curtain closed the water sprayed all over the door and floor. Barely any room in the bathroom to turn around in. Definitely not a room to share with others when you need to privately change clothes unless you want to stand in the tub. Exhaust fan in bathroom- really is pointless. Doesn't do squat. And the fear of the toilet over flowing with every flush was stressful. SO MUCH WATER per flush. WOW. ALSO if you're there for just a couple days and don't need housekeeping they places notice on your door saying they will inspect your room if housekeeping can't come in after 24 hours. Never experienced that before. We didn't use the safe so no opinion on that. We enjoyed the balcony and watching the ducks and geese. Went floating a little bit, WEAR swim shoes and be careful it's super slippery. Go down the little rapid forward facing or there's a risk you'll flip. We went down them twice and it was an exhausting activity. The curtains need replacing. One by the balcony doesn't block out the bright morning sun and the one by the door had small holes in it, it also needed to be bigger to properly cover the window. Breakfast: eggs were cooked ok with zero seasoning, sausage was good and had a little Peppery heat to it, potatoes were ok. Some were not done while others were soft. Biscuits - OH LORD- hard as a rock on the outside and really doughy in the center (HOW DOES ONE MANAGE THAT)?) gravy was thin and MEH. Of our 2 days we only got breakfast once so no idea if there are different items on other days. I think they had pancakes, I did see watery looking grits and oatmeal. But didn't look to see what else they had. elevator #1 always smelled amazing. Don't know what they put in there, but was really clean and smelled good. Housekeeping ladies were so nice and helpful even though there was a language barrier. The parking is so weird. Not full spaces and the lines were so weirdly places between the columns. My oversized conversion van had to take up an entire section between columns as I have a wheelchair lift on the right side and couldn't fit next to another car. We parked on very bottom for better parking. There are some brave pigeons outside if you're patient. Overall the place is pretty decent for the price and very clean. There are just some areas needing improvement.

Had stayed here once before and it was ok for the money. Was run down some but clean, but you can't expect great for that price. This time room was really run down, disheveled furniture, tape on bottom of tub, broke stopper for tub, nasty and run down heater which wouldn't heat the bathroom but heated the room.. first thing the jacuzzi tub would not run any water on the faucet for hot water. Maintenance came and fixed it. We first filled up tub with cold water and turned on jets to be sure they worked and no mold in jets. Then let water out and ran it again and took a bath. While in the tub my boyfriend noticed floor all the way to bed felt soft and squishy, when pressing on floor water was coming up around the interlocking sections of the flooring. And I was still in the tub and had not overfilled tub or got out of the tub.so no reason for floor to be leaking water. We were upset about it but a short time later we tried to run another bath and the hot water faucet would not cut off. He went to front desk and maintenance was called again he worked on the faucet and we made him aware of the water under the flooring. Then we requested to move rooms especially. We had to go back and forth with maintenance and the front desk , and both of them supposedly talked to manager on phone then was told they would not move us then my boyfriend asked for a refund and was told we would have to deal with booking.com if we wanted to get a refund.my boyfriend stated front desk was rude towards him when he turned the keys in and checked out. We did not get refunded for that night supposedly booking com is supposed to pay him money back for the second night. Have enclosed some pictures from the room. It's also in my opinion very shady that you can book this hotel under two separate names. Smokey view hotel is what is on the sign. But the two receipts have pin oak parkway and red carpet inn. Kind of makes you wonder why this property is operating apparently under 3 names

This hotel should be the standard that every single Marriott aspires to! We are Bonvoy Gold members and travel a lot. Through the years, our family of four has stayed at dozens of Marriotts up and down the entire east coast, and while some are better than others, this one sets the bar above and beyond. From the moment we pulled up, we were impressed. The facade of this hotel is beautiful. The grounds were pristine and the landscaping was really pretty. Parking was easy and convenient, something we really appreciated after a 12 hr car ride from New York. When we stepped inside, the lobby took our breath away. The decor is gorgeous. It is very modern with rustic touches and everything is immaculate. They pipe their citrusy signature scent throughout the entire hotel and it smells absolutely amazing! Check in was super easy and the front desk staff was really friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions. I was also equally impressed with our room. For anyone who has read some of my previous reviews, you know that I bring my own cleaning supplies with me to go over the room whenever we stay at a hotel, and a lot of times, the Clorox wipes and Swiffer pads come off the surfaces filthy. Not here. This place is CLEAN!! I am very particular about this, so if you are reading this review and you are a clean freak too, you can trust me that this hotel will totally meet your standards. The room furnishings are pretty new and the carpets are clean. We got a room with two queens and a sofa seating area, since my husband planned to work from the room each morning, and there was plenty of space for the 4 of us. There was a small fridge (my only complaint was that it was too small, it only fit a few bottles of water, no room for dinner leftovers which my teens enjoy having in the room in case they are hungry during off meal times). There is also a microwave. The bathroom was a good size and also very clean. What really sets this hotel apart from others is the amenities. This hotel was designed for families and for comfort. It really is like a home away from home. There are so many cozy seating areas all over the grounds, a huge stone fireplace in the lobby with the fire going at most times, two fire pit areas, lots of seating to eat, a courtyard with cornhole games, two pools (an indoor pool, as well as the amazing lazy river pool), a hot tub, an arcade game room, a bar and a lounge area in the lobby with a giant connect four game on the coffee table. Throughout our 4 day stay, there were cleaning people in every area of the hotel all day. I really cannot say enough how impressed I was by the level of care that goes into maintaining this hotel. Even the elevators and the water stations in the lobby were immaculate at all times. The location was great, right on the parkway, only minutes from all of the main attractions. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is interested in visiting the area. This was probably the

We enjoyed our stay we got in late on Wednesday night, there was a stain on the top blanket, notified housekeeping the next day and they took care of it right away, the rooms are very nice and clean except for the blanket but it was no big deal, I run a hotel in Lexington and I know this can happen, our door wouldn’t lock as we left the next day reported it to the front desk and it was taken care of right away, no big deal I know this can happen as well. The property it self was clean and that is a big plus after all as I say the outside of a hotel reflects the inside of the hotel. I would suggest instead of one chair outside the rooms maybe two chairs and ash trays around the area would help the smokers. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Another plus is that you couldn’t hear anything going on outside or the room next to you and that means a lot. Thank you for your great service Lisa

This quiet and cozy motel on the ***** in Pigeon Forge was very welcoming upon arrival and easy to navigate. We were hesitant in the beginning as it’s not a “name brand” motel but it was perfect for us. The room was very spacious and clean. The linens and the room we were in appeared to have been updated from other pictures we saw. Staff was super friendly and answered any questions we had. We would definitely start here again!

So I expected the basic hotel stay considering it was the cheapest hotel in the area? I had already stayed a week at one of the most expensive hotels on the strip and just decided to stay a couple days longer but save a few dollars! Everything was spotless clean compared to the more expensive hotel I stayed at the week before. I was truly shocked honestly it was such a pleasure the people were very nice and very helpful each time I needed something. The rooms sheets blankets were immaculate I mean the cleaning staff went above and beyond, the pool was stunning and it was open 24 hours which I had not seen at too many other hotels we stayed at. If you're looking for the cheapest place to stay and actually getting your money's worth especially nowadays this is the hotel for you & your family; it's everything you would expect in more for the price you pay... And it's right on the main strip 2 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and six minutes from downtown Gatlinburg! Tennesse was the BEST trip we ever went on as a family and we have been almost EVERYWHERE.

Stay for two nights as lay over from traveling between Michigan and Florida. Walking distance to the Island. Room was a great price and clean. They allow dogs which we always travel with our small dog. The only issue I had was the floor should be mopped. There is no carpeting which is great because of dogs and the floor was obviously swept but they need to mop it too. Five minutes with which socks and they were black on the bottom. Breakfast deal next door with hotel coupon is great too. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location. Our view from the 5th floor was beautiful. The hotel was clean and offered hand sanitizer at every door and elevator. The employees were all very friendly. The breakfast was well stocked and good. The app is great. I was able to check in, pick my room and get an electronic key all from my phone. When we arrived we were able to go straight to our room. Then I was able to check out from the app at the end of our trip. The bed was firm but comfortable. The sheets and mattress pad weren't large enough for the bed though and they kept coming off so we bought some sheet clips to remedy that situation.
