1.93km from Lej da StazHard to get better than this.... after a dozen stays in St Moritz I found a favorite place to stay and it is just next door in Celerina...The Historic Railway Hotel maintains its old world charm but “completely” updated inside. With a great restaurant and “SUPER” wine selection, especially by the glass and their open stock 50cl Amarone and local “Sforzato “ Epic first class Spa with all the bells and whistles, epitomized 1st class apres ski pampering, and the ski rooms amazing “pop open” doors and elaborate ski lockers( truly the best I have ever seen!). But the real stars were the staff and their impeccable service with a smile in 5 separate languages... hated to leave! In Italy this four star would be six stars, if they could ever have the attention to details that this property has! You will love your stay, and this is one of the top ten I have experienced in over 5,000+ “comped” stays in hotels in my capacity as a Travel Director, including stays in St Moritz with groups.
1.97km from Lej da StazWe have been coming here for many years - which really says it all. Many guests are regulars. In winter, it is very well located for both cross country skiers (the course starts round the corner from the hotel) and for downhill. There are three restaurants: one has fantastic cuts of meat, the second Swiss specialities which are well cooked. Sadly the third restaurant which used to be gourmet has now been ‘dumbed down’ to resemble a cheap diner with tacky decor and serves amongst other non-delights southern fried chicken, chicken burgers and pulled chicken tacos. With ‘frickin hot sauce’. The Manageress does not introduce herself to guests, though I saw her several times. Hopefully the place is not going downhill - that would be a great shame, because the hotel really is charming and homely. Staff at reception, in the rustic bar, and in the restaurants could not be more efficient and friendly. Rooms are very well appointed, spotlessly clean, bathrooms modern. Highly recommended but avoid the Hühnerei restaurant unless you are with small children or teenagers.

2.07km from Lej da StazThe overall condition is pretty good and very clean. The two-person room has bunk beds, the bathroom and toilet are shared outside, and there is a wash basin inside. It is a bit away from the train station, but there is a direct bus to it, which is still very convenient. If you need to buy something, it is best to go to the coop not far from the train station to buy it. There seems to be no supermarket nearby.
2.1km from Lej da StazStayed for three nights in a female dorm (but had the room to myself the entire time). Comfortable bed, clean room and bathrooms, very good shower, decent breakfast spread and the option to dine there in the evenings for a reasonable price (very nice not to have to go out looking for a place for dinner after a long day of hiking). Location is perfect (less than one minute from the train station) and there’s a parking lot where you can park your car for 7 francs per day. Most of all, staff were very helpful and knowledgable about the area (and the area itself is spectacular). One thing I wish I had known in advance: the front desk is unmanned from 10 am to 4 pm. I assumed (wrongly) that when I arrived at 1 pm there’d be someone there who could tell me where to park my car and to give me the pass for the trains and cable carts so that I could go about my day, then do the check-in thing sometime after 4 pm. This was not the case, however, and by the time I was checked in, my car was parked and I had the pass, all the cableways were closed for the day. This was a bit of a letdown on my first day, but I more than made up for it on the three days that followed.
2.32km from Lej da StazGood location, good reception, perfect rooms and bathrooms, but it is not easy to enter the hotel.
The pizzeria is also great.
It will be interesting to indicate the number of buses (and stations) from the station to the hotel.

2.44km from Lej da StazWe came back to Saratz after 7 years. This time as a family with 2 kids. Maria from reception was wonderful and helped us to find the best rooms and solution, and she made sure that our holiday will be perfect. I would gentle recommend to the manager of hotel to make sure that they keep hotel Saratz at a high standard as used to be! Tips for room: choose always Ella Tuff rooms as they are in the new building are really 4 star superior! Also as a recommendation: all the wonderful amenities are gone and replaced by more eco friendly things, however the conditioner for hair it is a need. We return to this hotel because we loved the atmosphere and the service. Maria, thank you for being so supportive and efficient!

2.49km from Lej da StazHauser Hotel St. Moritz is in the heart of St. Moritz. The hotel has been run by the Hauser family since 1955, and became famous through its fine homemade confectionary and desserts, and not least through its Engadine Nusstorte (nut and caramel pie), available from the hotel shop. To add to the culinary delights, the Hauser Hotel has a restaurant with terrace on the ground floor, where Australian cuisine is one of the many specialities served alongside regional and national dishes.Stay minimum 2 nights in our hotel in summer and you will get the ticket to all cable cars in the Engadine for free.

Hotels Near Lej Da Staz In Saint Moritz Review
Fantastic food at the hotel. Service is really good at the restaurant. Make sure you go for the half board deal as there are not many food options in the vicinity. The sister hotel San Gian across the road have two other restaurants that you may want to try if you ever become bored with dining at the house restaurant. The hotel is ski in via a red run leading to a short, ungroomed slope back into the hotel. On the way out, however, you will have to walk to Signal gondola station across the bridge. The spa at the sister hotel is pleasant but really tiny and not worth going in my opinion. We love the hotel for its reasonable price, gorgeous food and location - not many hotels in the area are ski in or so near a gondola. If you are arriving on a train, take bus 1 or 9. The hotel is a 150 walk from the bus stop. Finally, rooms are teeny weeny, so be prepared for this. But for the price We paid, there is really no reason to complain.
My family and I visit this nice hotel and restaurant each year, we like it alot, it is cosy and the food is good. Best salad bar ever! And they have local food to that is also very nice. You feel very confortable in this place, since it has its own style and feels like you are really in Switzerland.
The room has a small balcony, you can see the lake, and the night view is beautiful in bed! Take the 9N(E) bus from St. Moritz Railway Station and get off at the stop. Go to the turntable and go straight out from the second port on the right hand side of the turntable. It will be very convenient if you are on the left side of the train station. The pedestrian bridge walks to the third floor of the parking lot. The left side of the parking lot is the observation deck leading to the lake. Please take the escalator on the right side. It is the main street of St. Moritz all the way up. Go left and turn left. Go straight to the turntable, and then go straight out from the second port on the right hand side of the turntable for 100 meters. The hotel seems to be antique, especially the elevator.
I loved the location of the hotel as it is out of the noisy city of St. Moritz. It is in a nice green, quiet place. The hotel has free shuttle every hour and a bus station is also near if you like walking it takes only 20 minutes. I enjoyed Restaurant Stüvette very much. At breakfast home made and local cheese selection was my favorite but breads, fruits yoghurts and much more were great too. Almost every evening I had dinner In Stüvette Restaurant in the hotel and each meal was delicious. In Switzerland I often eat Rösti, the Rösti in Stuvetta Restaurant was one of the best I have ever tasted, and other local specialities were fantastic too I got very good advice of the best hiking trails and any information I needed the staff was really helpfull and knowing.
The location of hostel is a bit far from city center, but in very beautiful green area with views of mountains around. The hostel provide free shuttle service by schedule from/to city center and train station, but you have to reserve it in advance. To go by foot to city center might take around an hour or so. It was special offer of free pass to all transports and lifts in St Moritz and its area , if you stayed for more than 2 nights. And I took advantage of it, I made Piz Nair, Bernina Diavolezza and Muottas Muragl. It is all very beautiful, you can do some hiking there and its really good saving for the money. I wish I could go to Signal lift as well and from there made my way to the hotel by foot, but unfortunately it was heavy down pour and also bloody cold, even though it was August. the room was very bright and clean, but there wasnt any wardrobe and mattress was too soft for my back. the bathrooms and room were very clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful in explaining me about the local area.
We spent the first week of February, 2019 at the wonderful Chesa Spuondas hotel/pension, just outside St. Moritz. This former private mansion now houses 17 rooms, comfortably furnished. The public areas - entrance hall, lounge and library are tastefully furnished in old-style furniture, "inviting" the guests to spend some time there, especially before and after dinner. The dining room and veranda, where the meals are served, are surrounded with panoramic windows, enabling the guests to enjoy the tasty meals, while admiring the snow-covered panorama of a good portion of the Engadin. Every morning, upon arriving at our breakfast table, we found a freshly printed, folded folio page which included the area's weather forecast, the evening's menu and some interesting information about one of the Engadin's tourist attractions. Bothe the reception staff and the dining room staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with any request for information and assistance. They made us feel "at home" from the moment of our arrival and throughout our stay, the kind of attention you can expect to get only in a relatively small hotel like the Chesa Spuondas. We had a visit plan throughout the Engadin for every day of our stay, relying on the efficient and comfortable Swiss bus and rail transportation system. The walk from the hotel to the bus stop takes about 10-12 minutes, then 2 bus stops to the center of St. Moritz town. We highly recommend the Chesa Spuondas for a relaxed, friendly, comfortable and family style atmosphere and would certainly be glad to return there in the future.
We only spent a few nights here, but could've enjoyed a whole week! The hotel itself is lovely and the decor is astonishing, yet most comfortable. Everything in our room was done well and most accommodating to our needs. Staff was pleasant and welcoming. Everyone was willing to lend a hand, answer questions, and do whatever they could to make our time valuable. The morning breakfast buffet was terrific and I really appreciated the offering of an entire table with GF selections. I had plenty of wonderful options to choose from and did not lack for food to eat. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We rented skis and used the in/out chair lift ~ a real treat to the location. We also took the shuttle into town for shopping/entertainment ~ most advantageous and appreciated. The views of the lake and mountains are spectacular. We also were thankful for the shuttle to and from the train station. Overall, a marvelous hotel and visit to St. Moritz. I would highly recommend staying at this location if you travel to the area.
First time to St Moritz, I don’t recall how we selected Hotel Cervus but we pulled one out the bag. A little way out of the town centre but the bus system easily took care anything more than a short walk. On arrival we were treated by Simone, awesome girl, great help. Recommend things to see and the best way to get around and value for money eats. Breakfast is included in the room rate and was all we needed, not huge but quality. Apparently there was confusion with our booking (our travel agent?) so we received complimentary pass up the mountain. Awesome spot, especially when it’s -12, blue shy and not a breath of wind. Also helped there was no crowd. All thanks to Simone.
