Room decor has seen its better days to be honest! Plastic tables and chairs in the room for a 4-star property are pure cheapskates!
Air conditioning still hasn’t been switched back on in late April when temperature already reaching low 20 Celsius! Had to stay and sleep in the room with window shut because of noisy disco noises nearby lasting beyond 2 am in the wee hours of Sunday morning ! Got ‘roasted and baked’ in the room with no ventilation as a result - not very ideal when covid is still raging!
Still couldn’t understand why the hotel still insists on ‘no self-service’ for buffet breakfast - apparently in the name of covid! ‘Accidentally’ tried to pick up some breakfast items by myself on arrival as there was no sign on display stating the not-so-obvious ‘no self-service’ policy but was told off by one of 2 staff members on duty with plate being ‘snatched’ from my hands! The paradox being this practice caused long queue with only 2 staff members available to pick and dish out items for guests! Long queue and mass gathering of guests would not spread covid but picking up your own food with disinfected hands would apparently! Few ironic observations made though! The two specific staff members on food picking duty didn’t wear gloves at all when picking food with thongs for guests - is that even covid-safe??? One of the two members on that specific food picking duty went on to pick food for guests after clearing and cleaning up table with bare hands and then went over to do their food picking duty for other guests without washing or disinfecting their hands - covid safe I fear not??? If insisting on ‘no self-service’ policy, make sure you have sufficient staff to handle constant stream of guests coming in for breakfast! I was certainly being put off by either long queue or absent staff to help pick the food I wanted!

Huge area with conference rooms and dozens of free parking spaces.
The sports room is a dream and huge, sauna and indoor pool are theoretically also available - unfortunately both are not open.
The breakfast had a lot of variety, but the presentation still had potential.
Nice staff, disinfectants were also available in the entrance area and sports room.
We asked for a quiet room and got one at the back, no noise from the street - gorgeous.
All in all a nice stay at a fair price, including breakfast and fitness room. Gladly again!

The staff are really friendly and helpful with knowledge on day-trips away from Bari and how to use the public transportation to get to a location. What I found really nice is that the would talk you through what each place was like, rather than refering to a QR code which other hostels now seem to prefer. Beds, bathroom and kitchen was clean - and there was also a lovely terrace outside. Good location to access public transport as well as getting into Old and New Town.

|0.77km from city centerWe’ve just returned from a fantastic four nights at Dilman. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel most welcome by the friendly staff on reception. They gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and bars and were happy to answer any questions we had. We had breakfast in the lounge next door each morning which was lovely, again with very friendly staff. It was my birthday when we visited and we were treated to a complimentary prosecco which was a nice touch. We’d most definitely return here.

And it is also very close to the bus stop to the airport. The rooms are comfortable and acceptable size. The bathroom offers fair services and is clean. Breakfast does not include a large buffet but the necessary thing to start the day: hot or cold drink (the worst thing is that the juices are not natural), yoghourts, some fruit, some sausages, bread, crepes, magnificent croissants and something of hot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 100% recommendable.

Starting from the fact that the location is excellent, right in the middle of the city, close to all the city's attractions. Restaurants, bars, cafes, all are a stone's throw from the location. The rooms, which have a vintage atmosphere, are very clean. The staff deals with this aspect on a daily basis. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, including a small kitchen where you can prepare a breakfast. There you will find an electric stove, a small electric oven, a refrigerator and everything else you need. I traveled with two families who had children aged 9 and 12. It was also very useful for them to be able to prepare a breakfast for them. Our host was very kind. She helped us with any information we requested. We will gladly return to Zodiacus Residence.

We were two couples in need of last minute accommodations due to a medical emergency, and I literally booked two rooms with Antonella an hour before arrival. I have no words to describe how accommodating and gracious a hostess Antonella is. She waited for us outside her B&B when we arrived, helped my husband with our luggage while her husband directed us to the parking garage. She has a beautiful apartment, a few minutes’ walk from the historical center, with several rooms to rent. The apartment is huge and beautifully decorated. Our room was a king size room. It was wonderful, large and airy, extremely clean, and the bed was very very comfortable. Antonella was always available on WhatsApp for any questions and advice. She recommended and booked a great fish restaurant (Giampolo) for my husband and myself and booked a taxi for our friends, who unexpectedly had to return home. She couldn’t have been nicer and more considerate. If ever in Bari again, I will definitely stay here. I highly recommend Mammadada for your stay in Bari.

El problema fue que el anfitrión no me envió como suele ser habitual dos días antes, ningún enlace para hacer el check in. Únicamente días antes me envió un enlace para introducir mis datos y los de mi novia pero nada más.
Llegamos el día 1 de diciembre (festivo) y no nos había mandado nada, así que supusimos que nos abriría él mismo la puerta en el apartamento. No fue así, estuvimos en frente de la puerta llamándole sin parar ya que no teníamos los códigos para poder acceder a la vivienda (la cual ya habíamos pagado) y no obtuvimos respuesta hasta al menos 40 minutos más tarde.
Una vez conseguí hablar con él, nos abrió remotamente las puertas y me envió el enlace del check in y el del pago de la tasa turística, por lo que no obtuvimos hasta al menos otros 20 minutos las claves para poder irnos tranquilos.
Muy mal servicio, no lo recomiendo

The room is cultured, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is great although we only had breakfast. I don't give 5 points for one reason. The air conditioner in the room is very cold, it cannot be setup, we switched it to warmer and after a few seconds it returned to the original temperature. The location of the hotel is not in the best neighborhood. This massive city center with all its peculiarities. Like dirt, dog excrement on the street, graffiti and suspicious figures. However, the transport is very good from here to wherever you go.

|1km from city centerLet's say that for the feast of San Nicola in Bari the closets are also rented out at crazy prices. However, the room that was reserved for us in these B&Bs was really large, spacious and clean. There is no staff to welcome customers because the doors can be opened from the street via mobile phone and a link that is sent at the time of booking. The bathroom is very spacious and in any case fully equipped. The problem is that, probably lacking control, in our room there was a strong and acrid smell of smoke that leaving the windows wide open for hours was useless, thanks also to the favor of mild temperatures. Then the acoustic insulation of the windows is bad, you can't sleep. On the ground floor there are vending machines that are overrun by groups of kids, even in the middle of the night. Too bad, it could have deserved a higher rating.

|0.68km from city centerThis was a difficult review to write because the location was good, the room was decent size, and the bed was large and comfortable. The problem was all the things that were or went wrong throughout the stay the caused it not to be pleasant. Most importantly please note this hotel DOES NOT HAVE A BAR. One of the primary reasons for our booking was because there was a bar advertised on the listing. This is not the case. When prompted the host what time the bar closes we were informed there is now bar. When questioned we were told there was a mini fridge in the room. The host referred to it as a ”bar fridge.” The ”bar fridge” was not stocked, there were no drinks besides 2 waters in there. There was no cleaning service offered, and the host reminded me this is just a guest room rental and not a hotel. Last but not least it's very loud, you can heat the neighbors and anyone in the hallway. Unfortunately i cannot recommend this booking. I suggest looking at alternative listings. Remember it is the whole package that makes taking a holiday somewhere a pleasant stay: from a truthful listing, t a pleasant check in, comfortable room and amenities. Here many points were missed. PROS: - Location was good. - Bed was big and comfy. - Climate control with air conditioning. - Quick wifi and internet. - Able to chat with the host via WhatsApp. CONS: - False advertising alert: there is no bar even though one is advertised in the listing. When we asked what time the bar closes and where is it, the host informed us there is no hotel. They mentioned there is a mini fridge in the room. There are no drinks in the fridge. There is no bar. - The shower is a disaster to use. Not sure who the architect was but you cannot open the shower door all the way, it his the toilet. You have to squeeze between the door (against the toilet) and the wall. The water temperature was never constant. It would go warmer and colder randomly. Sometimes very cold mid-shower. The water pressure was very bad too, and would get worse throughout the shower. Not enough water pressure to wash my wife's hair. - Coffee machine didn't work properly, we had to use the kettle and instant coffee instead. - On the 5th floor with an elevator for 1 person. Traveling with someone else or a group makes for a long time to get to the room or you are using the stairs. - Loud, can hear neighbors and hallway. - Not enough power plugs or outlets. There is a desk but if you wanted to setup your laptop and plug in they were all full.

This hotel is a B&B, not far from the railway station. It takes only 10 minutes to walk from the railway station. It is not far from the beautiful and quaint old town and the brightly lit modern shopping street.
Although the location is good, it took a little twists and turns to find the hotel. The destinations of Google navigation and Apple's own map navigation were both about 100 meters away from the hotel, and asked me to find it. The hotel is at a crossroad, about 10 meters away from the intersection. There is a white Italian sign at the entrance of the glass door. It says the name of the hotel and the hotel is on the 8th floor. In fact, just press the doorbell on the 8th floor, but I didn’t understand this. For the sign, I had to call the hotel, and then the door was opened. The corridor was a bit old and a little dusty. I couldn't see people. I felt like I was staying at home. At that time, I still didn't realize that the hotel was on the 8th floor, and then I searched it twice from the 1st floor to the 8th floor until I saw a small iron sign on the 8th floor with the name of the hotel and the white cat on it. As long as you turn on the bathroom light, the exhaust fan will automatically run, and the exhaust fan will automatically turn off about 2 minutes after turning off the light. The bedside is equipped with a USB charging port, which is much more convenient than using a conversion head everywhere.
When checking in, a girl came from outside to check-in, and detailed instructions. She speaks good English. If you have any questions, try to ask at check-in. She will not be seen again later. She is responsible for cleaning and making breakfast. Neither of the two girls speak English well, so they only need to leave the key on the table in the room when they leave the shop.
Although looking for a hotel was a bit of a twist at the beginning, I worried a bit, but the feeling after moving in was pretty good.

We were greeted by Claudia who was super friendly and helpful. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartments are large, clean and modern. The rooftop area is also great to relax. The morning breakfast was also excellent. It's approx a 10 min walk to Bari Vecchia. We recommend this to families and anyone wanting an apartment stay.

Dont even think about it because you will be spending a huge amount of time finding a parking space in the center...and you probably wont. Taxi is 10 euro to the old city and by the way...taxifare from airport is fixed....25 euro. Now about the Nicolaus Hotel. Top class service and smiling people everywhere and in every department, from professional and fast check in, really funny guys serving in the bar and proff behaviour in the spa,- which by the way is really nice. Breakfirst is in a totally different leaugue than you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Waiters everywhere to take your order (included) on everything you may not find in the buffet. Breakfirst is a real 6 star experience. We even asked to check out 2 hours later just to make it comply with our taxi to the airport and of course no problem. Thank you very much to everyone at The Niclaus Hotel....there are places 1-2 hours away from Bari that we didnt make this time around so I expect us to be back shortly.

Extremely spacious room is very clean. Super breakfast made in the bar under Jerome with cappuccino and scream flirts 😋. Also very comfortable because the conventional parking 2 minutes walk is perfect. It will be our first choice when we come back to Bari. Check in works via a link and requires a mobile internet connection for the first check in. That works well if you have a SIM card with internet access if not, then you should plan for it. We had a two room apartment for three people. The smaller room was a walk through to get to the bathroom. The bathroom looks newly renovated and was clean. The door is foldable though and very thin. The kitchen us shared with others and has some basic utensils (not for big cooking). The location is quite and rather central. So you get to the old part of town in ca 10 minutes and the central train station in 15 minutes.

|0.89km from city centerConcept sympa mais décevant... car il n'y a pas de service immediat en cas de probleme de climatisation ! Apres 1500 km sous une chaleur caniculaire, on nous installe dans un appartement d'apparence parfait, sauf que la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas, elle etait en erreur.... le personnel présent a tenté d'y remedier mais le proprietaire n'étant pas présent, le personnel n'avait pas de solution. C'était une condition primondiale au moment de notre reservation 2 mois avant notre arrivee...nous l'avions bien précisé par téléphone lors de la reservation. Malheureusement, ils n'ont pas etaient vigilant sur ça donc tres contrariant... Après notre promenade en soirée nous sommes rentrés. La montée d'escalier etait dans l'obscurité et l'appartement aussi. Nous n'avions plus d'électricité, ni de quoi se rafraichir en eau puisque les frigos ne fonctionnaient plus (periode caniculaire) . Coupure generale d'électricité jusqu'à 3h30 du matin. Apres notre voyage de 1500 km nous avons vecu une experience tres inconfortable sans climatisation et sans electricite la nuit a etait longue et pas reposante du tout. Le concept du petit déjeuner est pas mal mais mal exploité, cest dommage... les biscottes brisée en mille morceaux on ne peut pas en faire grand chose... pas de jus de fruit, la bouteille etait vide... bref, beaucoup de déception surtout que cette ville est la ville natale de mes parents... j'y venais étant petite...j'ai eu l'impression de vivre les mêmes restrictions qu'à l'époque.... Aussi, nous attendont un geste commercial du proprietaire sur ce problème de climatisation car il s'agissait d'un critère essentiel de réservation. Et elle ne fonctionnait pas à notre arrivee. Concernant la coupure generale nous comprenons qu'il ne puisse rien faire mais bon.... s'il veut garder une clientèle et avoir des avis positifs il faut etre un bon commerçant. They were about 27 minutes late on thier 2p check-in. I had to ask to at least leave my bags so I don’t waste the day in the city. After I return, the AC breaks after 30 minutes of use at 20C. After resetting the breaker myself, it started to work again. A few hours later I notice that the air was now blowing just on fan mode; no cold air. This was at 2040 so I called the office without an answer. I message them and they respond twenty minutes later saying there was nothing they can do until the morning. They couldn’t change my room or change my location to one of thier other housing units. It’s summer in Bari, it was 30C (86F). I am from the north and am not accustomed to sleeping through hot weather. Two issues within a 5 hour stay - I asked for a refund for the stay as I found somewhere else for the weekend. They ignore my request telling me there’s nothing to do. They stall for about an hour as to not to respond to me after “closing time” - 22:00. The location is on a very busy street, with cars zooming through even at 3a. The next morning I had to contact them again at 10:00 to remind them to send a technician. I continued to request to speak with management and was ignored multiple times with multiple ignored calls. I was kept there against my wishes so they can keep thier money. They obviously do not care about thier guests. After persisting to speak with someone they gave me a 25% refund for the entire stay for my inconvenience. I would definitely not stay there for the management. Poor communication and bad service. Good luck to whoever decides to stay there.
