Le Choiseul Hotel is well located just below the Royal chateau of Amboise. We parked our car and can go around everywhere ( Chateau Amboise, Clos Lucé, Chateau Gaillard) in foot. We had a very nice room, Room 4. There is a small terrace and we can go through the terrace directly to the swimming pool and garden. This is very convenient. In the restaurant for diner, there is a nice view of the river. Make your reservation early if you want to have the window seats. The breakfast is in another room with terrace in the garden, calm and peaceful atmosphere to start a new day! Last but not the least, we had a small surprise. That is visiting "Les Greniers de César". These are caves and galleries in the hill, just under the Chateau of Amboise. When you book or check in next time in Le Choiseul hotel, you may ask for that visit too.

We stayed here for two nights during our 8 day Loire Valley cycle tour. The hotel is located well for access to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. We found the breakfast provided was substantial, high quality with lots of choices. Our rooms were clean, updated and fairly quiet - even though our room looked out onto a fairly busy (for a small village in France) road we couldnt hear traffic at all. The staff were helpful and provided some good recommendations. We tried to book here again for our upcoming trip - but unfortunately they were already fully booked!

We booked this Hotel for a long weekend and our travel plans were disrupted due to F|light cancellations (Coronavirus). It was beyond the cancellation period but the Hotel decided to charge no fees. Instead they asked us if we would consider returning another time. I think this speaks of a host who is driven by client service, even at a difficult time for them. My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay 3 nights in this charming BnB. Annick the hostess is so welcoming and friendly , along with the master...great Dane Lulu, the lamas, goat, horses and cats. Annick speaks great English and is very interested in what you are visiting or visited and gladly gives recommendations, including the best boulangerie. Breakfast is french style with carefully chosen breads, brioche different each day. The best you will ever eat, along with fresh juice, tea/coffee/chocolate, cheese, yogurts and homemade jams. Extremely generous amounts. Our room was extremely large with separate large bathroom, toilet and kitchen (which we didn't use). Bed large and comfortable and quality linen on quilt cover. You do have access to a kitchen/dining area to heat up food etc in microwave, which also has a large fridge for use and kettle for hot drinks. The whole place is charming and inviting We brought our golden retriever Mia, who was welcomed by 'Lulu' and the rest of the animals. The grounds in which the property sits on is large and we took walks with Mia each morning to explore. Just stunning in Autumn. The location is perfect for visiting Château's and some wineries. Walking distance to town which have some lovely restaurants, recommended by Annick. We can't wait to come back! Thank you Annick. One of the loveliest host we've ever had.

It's a terrific little boutique hotel/restaurant run by a nice husband-and-wife team. The entry thru the restaurant room was a bit confusing as we tried to find a separate entrance to the hotel in vain. But that's it. You have to inquire a waiter who would take you to the reception desk then. We have arrived at lunch time so they served us lunch first which we liked so much that we opted for breakfast next morning. And it was a fabulous breakfast with a great choice of cold cuts, pates, breads, fruits, and fresh pastry all home made as the owner is also a chef. The room was rather small but cute and cozy and quiet. There's no elevator though. Ample parking. It's located some 3 miles away from the town center. Perfect if you ravel by car.

We recently stayed here for three nights. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The shower room was quite small, the shower doors didn't meet so the floor got very wet after using the shower. Breakfast was very expensive for what was available - it wasn't included in our rate. While we stayed, a cycling group were staying and breakfast was a problem as they all seemed to come at once and the hotel couldn't cope with the numbers. There is no evening restaurant but it was a pleasant walk into town to eat. Easy access to the town ring road to tour the area.

Fantastic and friendly people at the reception (especially Raya!). Beautiful infinity pool. Easy parking in front of the door. Free minigolf which was so much fun with the kids! Excellent breakfast! Maybe towels for the pool would make this hotel even better. Great location right next to the da Vinci castle and close to Amboise old village. We were supposed to stay one night but we stayed for 2 because we liked it so much. Platinum membership was recognised and I was upgraded to an executive room with free drinks in the room and a coffee machine.

I visited Amboise while on a cycling trip with a friend. We each had our own room and enjoyed the peacefulness of the hotel, yet the very central location. We also appreciated the secure bicycle parking room. The staff was all excellent and accommodating. The only thing the hotel was lacking was an outdoor patio but there are many parks around. . With all the pricey hotels in Amboise, this hotel is a terrific value. It met our needs in almost every area and surpassed in others. Everything was just a few steps away!

We stayed at Les Colonnes de Chanteloup en route to Provence as we wanted to visit the Chateau Amboise. It’s set a little way out of the town, a bit too far to walk in for dinner but only 5 minutes by car. It was during the 45 degree heatwave and although it didn’t have air conditioning, the owners had thoughtfully placed a chiller in the room so it was nice and cool. This is really like staying en famille - with children, laundry and pets - and they were all lovely and very welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had a spacious bathroom - plus lots of extras such as robes and slippers, tea and coffee making. Although the staircase up to it is quite steep and narrow, it wasn’t a problem. We made good use of the small swimming pool in the pretty garden which has chickens roaming around. Breakfast was served on the patio by the pool, and was mostly homemade and very fresh. Cherries, peaches, homemade yoghurt, delicious jams, fresh eggs, pot au chocolat (!), croissants and freshly squeezed orange juice. The owners told us some of the history of the house and the chateau de Chanteloup, which was fascinating. A really charming and relaxing place to stay in this beautiful area of the Loire - I’d certainly stay here again.

Our first impressions of this place were of an abandoned Soviet prison camp. Images of Northern Cyprus also came to mind. A very strange place, with unloved scruffy surrounds. Our first floor room/ studio was clean, of a good size and quiet however, there was no charm. The downstairs entrance and stairwell did not smell good, but the studio itself was okay. None of the balconies had furniture, which seemed odd. There was an exceptionally small swimming pool (un-charmingly fenced in). This also seemed odd, considering the sizeable amount of land available for development. It was not possible to walk into the centre of Amboise as the roads did not have pavements and were quite busy. On the positive side, checking in and out was quick and easy. The young ladies on reception spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. I can see how this place works okay as a conference centre but, its not great for holiday makers. We did not eat here so, cannot comment on the food. All in all, it was functional and okay for one night though, we wish had had stayed elsewhere! My husband found it depressing.

The hotel is located in the heart of Lyon, just a 5 minute walk from the central square and shopping streets. There are a variety of specialty shops in the shopping street, big-name luxury jewelry and ZARA, HM, etc., although not comparable to the Paris store, the goods are all, but the basic models are available to meet the basic shopping needs. The most acclaimed hotel is the breakfast, on the top floor of the hotel, with a view of the Rhone River through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast is extremely rich, because it is the holiday season, breakfast is delayed until 11 o'clock, you can rest assured that you can take a nap and slowly enjoy a fine brunch.

Italy was passing by the stop city back to Paris. It did n’t have much hope. The comments at night were good and bad, as long as they could live, but it was really good! Clean and spacious, booked a room with a living room, booking information is for three people, the sofa bed in the living room was opened and paved at the time of check-in, the balcony is also a large balcony connecting the living room to the bedroom, it is nice to have a kitchenette, walking near the hotel There is a slightly bigger Carrefour in 5 minutes. In the morning, my husband and the child did n’t get up to buy some juice, milk, bread, salad, etc. After all, it ’s not cheap to eat outside. We were looking for a good hotel which would serve as our stopover as we were driving to the South of France. We booked a night stay in this beautiful InterContinental Hotel. We arrived around noon and by accident drove directly to the hotel's garage. It was unclear if there was valet or if we could self park our car. As we did not get in to the garage, we were stuck there as the bell in the garage was rather complicated. We phoned the front desk and quickly someone helped park our car. The bellboy took our luggage and escorted us to the reception. We were quickly checked in and received a very nice upgrade to one of the beautiful Executive Duplex rooms with views over the river. The hotel itself is huge and is simply beautiful. There are many restaurants and shops in the premises and is located in the heart of Lyon, everything can be done by foot. Our room was very large and had a cosy seating area on the top level. Downstairs, there was a very comfortable bed and the bathroom with large walk in shower. The window in the room was floor to ceiling but probably hard to clean as there were some cobwebs on it. Staff were very helpful with a city map and recommending sights and restaurants nearby. Within walking distance, there are many good places to eat and shopping streets are very closeby.

It was learned that Lyon’s old town was very difficult to park, and it was specifically designed as a landmark hotel in the new city. This hotel can be seen from afar, but it is not easy to find the hotel entrance and parking lot by car. Because the nearby road is under construction, it took three laps to find the hotel's small entrance. The parking lot is large, 25 euros a day. The hotel lobby is on the 32nd floor and the room is above the 33rd floor. The view is good and has its own characteristics. The room is small, it is fan-shaped, and two adults with a child sleep very crowded. The sanitation is very good, quiet, carpeted, not ventilated, the shower floor is a bit slippery, there is no place to dry clothes. The hotel has a restaurant, dinner is good, service is good. There is no bustling old town nearby, and there is a large public car park next to the food city not far from the hotel.

Life is convenient, there is an Uexpress supermarket downstairs, you can buy fruits, yogurt, super delicious. Must be freshly squeezed juice, cheap and delicious! The room is not big, but each double bed is 1.5 meters wide. It is no problem for two people to sleep on the same bed. It is a good news for families with children. The room is very clean. The location of the hotel is really good. Downstairs is Sephora opposite Paris Spring, and then White Apple Square, but the hotel rooms are really too small, and then there is no bathtub. The hotel I booked was very expensive because at the time It ’s the Lyon Festival of Lights, so it ’s very expensive. It ’s usually not that expensive. If you judge this hotel by its value, it ’s not worth it. I think its value should be around 1,000 yuan. Simple is rude, because breakfast is not so good, but there are few juices that are not freshly squeezed for tea, and you have to make your own tea in bags. The hotel does not have any service at the front desk to check in, and it is not very fast, but it is generally okay. It is not worth 1,000 yuan or more for 1,000 yuan, thank you!

This is a five-star hotel in a classic style, converted from an old building. Definitely not the kind of hotel used in China. In the center of the old town of Lyon, there are various stores on the doorstep, and a stylish chocolate shop diagonally opposite, and the famous Rose Tower attractions across the alley next to the hotel. The interior decoration of the hotel is also old-fashioned, the door is opened with a key and no card is needed. The room was beautiful and welcoming, the toilet and shower room were separated. There is also a spa on the top floor. We went to live in Lyon on the day of the annual Lyon Festival of Lights, and on the weekend, the room price doubled several times than usual. It's easy to miss without paying attention. If the usual price to live is definitely possible. Holidays are definitely expensive. It is very convenient to visit and live in the old town.
