Hotels Near Les Crocs In Paris
0.13km from Les CrocsAfter my nightmare the night before at Mercure Saint Ouen, I did not expect much as this Mercure was another one in the city centre of Paris. Nevertheless, I got there and they actually had parking available! It was a box that was really small and smelt bad but I managed to get my car inside and that is all that I needed. All of the ladies at reception were wonderful, helpful and nice. We could actually have a couple of laughs. I was given a Privilege room - on check out she said not related to my Accor card as they did not have the number on file (I need to have a serious chat with my Companys travel agency). The room was really nice, clean and perfect for one night. I arrived early so I worked, ordered food (no room service but you can either use Deliveroo or in my case, UBER eats). The location is near Bastille so fairly central. The AC did not work either. They sent a nice gentleman around to see if anyone turned actually the heating on (which may screw with the AC) but the issue was not fixed. But - listen and learn Mercure Saint-Ouen - they gave me a very big fan which did the trick. I could say that the elevator was slow, I could complain about no gym or "hotel" room service but I won't. Because the staff was really nice, helpful and fun so here you go Mercure Paris Bastille Saint Antoine: 5 points! Thank you very much!
0.23km from Les CrocsI visited the Color Design Hotel with work and stayed for two nights. Booked at the last minute, it was a lot further out from central Paris than we wanted, having to take two tubes and an Uber to get from the airport, which took us well over an hour. Inside, the reception of the hotel was very basic. It was trying to be modern but was just dated and battered. We arrived slightly earlier than check in time, but the hotel let us into the rooms early as they were ready. We used the elevator to get to the second floor - definitely not recommended for anyone suffering from claustrophobia!! The rooms were ok. Again, quite basic. There were no necessities like a kettle which would've been nice. The bathroom was fine, just standard. We booked to have the breakfast in the hotel. This was quite disappointing. We were expecting a larger choice but options were definitely limited and the breakfast wasn't worth the price in my opinion. There wasn't even any fresh fruit, which I and others thought was quite odd. Had we known the breakfast on offer, I don't think we'd have booked it. I would definitely recommend going to a local bakery for breakfast instead. Using the hotel as only a place to rest our head, this hotel was ok, but I wouldn't have wanted to spend any more time here. It was quite noisy at night with doors slamming and the walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbours TV and whenever they took a shower. My colleagues room was next to the elevator which was also very noisy. Randomly, I also never really felt that safe at night. No specific reason why, I just didn't. Overall, it was ok. But I wouldn't opt to ever stay here again. I'm pretty sure Paris has much better hotels on offer.
0.24km from Les CrocsYou get what you see in the hotel photos with this Ibis property and that's a good thing. Clean, reasonably well appointed room, comfortable, and most important of all, quiet overnight! I slept with my window open (hallelujah, a hotel with opening windows!) and was not disturbed at all, even with all the Halloween shenanigans going on around me. The room has a desk, a television with cable (although there are only news channels in English - common in Europe but disappointing nevertheless), and a place to hang clothes. Be warned, they are not large rooms, but that's to be expected in Paris. It was fine for me on my own but if two of us were trying to open our suitcases that would have been challenging. The bathroom has shampoo/bodywash, a fixed hairdryer (which gets very hot in the hand so had to be used in stages to dry my hair). The shower doesn't have a door so there can be some overflow onto the floor if you aren't careful and don't angle the showerhead properly. It also has two very flimsy plastic cups, one of which broke when I tried to open it (oops!) I didn't chose to have breakfast included in my room - why would you with Paris's plethora of excellent boulangeries and cafes at your doorstep? Don't even think twice, don't get the hotel breakfast - you will only be disappointed! Get out there and try some real Parisian culture. The reception staff were pleasant and were able to put a few items of mine into fridge overnight which wasn't a bother. They also looked after my bags for a few hours both before check-in and after check-out. NB Check-in is from 12noon but I was told best not to return before 1pm so don't bank on having access to your room bang on midday. There is a small bar area where you could wait reasonably comfortably though and from where you can access the hotel's wifi. The hotel is well situated near the Ledru-Rollin metro station, a large Monoprix, a Marks & Spencer foodhall, and lots and lots of all things Paris (cafes, brasseries, boulangeries, small grocers, churches, gardens, etc). A good place to be based from. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again if all I needed was a place to sleep. If I wanted a room to hang out in for any length of time I'd look for a hotel with bigger rooms (and a far heftier price tag!) NB at the moment there is work going on in the hotel during the day which was annoying but only because I was jetlagged and needed an afternoon nap. Also, when unthoughtful guests let their doors slam it can be heard easily through one's sleep! Otherwise it was very quiet.
0.25km from Les CrocsWe stayed at this hotel because we wanted to be close to the Gare de Lyon as we were going to Disneyland. The station is less than a 10 minute walk away which proved to be ideal with the train to disneyland going direct to this station. On our second day in Paris, we checked out at 12pm and decided to walk around instead of getting the metro. All of the main tourist attractions are easily accessible, we walked about 25 minutes to Notre Dame and made our way to the Arc de Triomphe all in all it took about 3 hours but we were able to see a lot more of Paris. The hotel itself was clean and provided a good base. We checked in around midnight and we were greeted by a man who didn’t seem pleased we were late. The lift is a maximum of four people and therefore it is very small and rickety. ‘The courtyard’ and ‘bar and lounge’ that are advertised are very small and breakfast was a extra charge we didn’t opt for. Our room was 106, this meant we looked out onto the street. The room itself was big enough, however there was some very strange decor. Bath was a little bit grubby and the bathroom itself was small but it did provide us with everything we needed. All in all, I would recommend this hotel as a base if you were wanting to be close to the station and if you didn’t mind travelling about 20-25 in to Paris. Special mention to Boulangerie versavelle petite classe which is a small bakery about 5 minutes away!
0.27km from Les CrocsIf you can, don’t live in the city center. At this price, you can’t live in a good hotel.
0.28km from Les CrocsGreat little hotel located in a quiet back street. Rooms can be a little compact (we had 3 adults and 3 under 4's in 2 rooms) but they were cleaned daily and very comfortable. The hotel has a lift which is very welcome. We had a double buggy that the staff let us store in Reception. In fact all the Reception staff were very friendly, very helpful and spoke better English than my French. Location is good for bistros, cafes and restaurants. And there's a little Asian supermarket that offers many supplies and wine. There's a good street market twice a week (Sundays?) that sells good fresh food and some good antiques (plus the usual tat). Access to the Metro is easy (5 mins walk) and Line 1 gets you to Notre Dame, The Louve and many other places quite easily. We felt safe walking the streets in the evening but had not been out late at night. Safe as any other major city, I suppose. To summarise, nice hotel worth your consideration.

0.28km from Les CrocsWe really enjoyed our three days at this good hotel. It is conveniently close to the Gare de Lyon - 5 minutes walk. Despite this fact it is quiet and right beside the lovely Viaduc des Arts (garden created on disused railway viaduct) where you can walk and picnic in complete calm above the city. We had Room 43 which was a recent refurb. It was surprisingly spacious for a Parisian hotel room. It had air conditioning which was just brilliant. The bathroom was integrated in the bedroom with a separate loo.We found this arrangment convenient and aesthetically pleasing - and it obviously makes the room seem larger. Geerally the desk staff were helpful and charming. It is only a 2 star hotel so do not expect luxury! But for a comfortable stay we cannot recommend it highly enough.
0.39km from Les CrocsI booked this hotel at the last minute and got a great deal! It is located within easy walking distance of the train station (Gare de Lyon). The man at the desk was extremely helpful with recommendations of restaurants bike rental and other transportation. The room was much larger than a typical hotel room in France. It had fabulously cold air conditioning which was needed during the July 2019 heat wave.
0.41km from Les CrocsLoved this little hotel. It was exactly what we wanted, small, clean, safe, great location. Since we knew we would pretty much only be sleeping there, we did not want a North American style chain hotel ( frankly, can’t understand why anyone would want to go to Paris if they wanted an American hotel- ugh) it was perfect. Private bath, ours even had a big tub. Comfortable bed, lovely big windows. Very nice staff. Amazing value, much less expensive than we had expected.
0.42km from Les CrocsThe hotel Ibis Diderot is my home from home in Paris. It is ideally situated when arriving in Paris at the Gare de Lyon, and has rapid transport connections wherever you want to travel in Paris. The team are friedly, helpful and efficient, the two little problems that I experienced were immediately dealt with.
0.47km from Les CrocsI’m writing this review on my last night here because I feel the other reviews have not done justice to the hotel. First and foremost we chose this hotel because we wanted a hotel at an affordable cost near Gare De Lyon station. We knew beforehand that rooms were going to be tiny and there’s no lift. Yes rooms are tiny and if you’re are a family of 3 it would be difficult but not impossible to fit into the bed. But then if you check the pictures it’s very clear. We knew that beds were not going to fit us very well and room was tiny but still we chose this hotel because it was at an affordable price and very near to Gare De Lyon. You really can’t expect to pay a cheap price and get a XXL room in Paris. There were other hotels nearby with bigger room size but they were charging a baby as an adult person. Pissed me off. Increase you charges but don’t bloody charge for a baby. Even cheap airlines don’t do that. Anyway back to the hotel: The receptionist lady was super friendly during our check in and she helped us a lot with all of our tourist questions. The receptionist changes in shift and all of them were good to interact and answered all our questions. We got our room on the 2nd floor so had to carry up our luggage but we were mentally prepared for it. The weather was pleasant during our stay so we kept the window open and it really got chilly by early morning. Had a pleasant sleep especially because we were so tired after the days activity that even trumpets couldn’t wake us up. The rooms were clean. Bedsheet and towers were clean and tidy. Room was cleaned every morning. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Breakfast is simple and this is one thing you can skip if you want to try something else. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We stuck to the hotel breakfast because our mornings were busy preparing baby food for the day so we didn’t had any time to go and explore for breakfast. I was really concerned after reading a review that said there was cigarette smell in the corridors. Fortunately we didn’t experience anything of that sort. There was no unpleasant smell anywhere inside. Overall it’s a basic hotel for a max 2-3 nights stay. And I would recommend it to couples/singles who have managed expectations. Cheers CK

0.47km from Les CrocsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay - our room was ready (early) when we arrived, check in was smooth, the room, although typically small, was well-equipped, immaculate, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable with quality linens. Each staff person was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We loved the neighborhood - it's been decades since we've explored the Viaduct des Arts, or strolled the Promenade Plantée and we really enjoyed doing so again. There are also many good restaurants, bakeries, cafes nearby. Breakfast was abundant and excellent, with lots of inviting and comfortable seating available. Wifi was fast and complimentary.
Hotels Near Les Crocs In Paris Review
The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.
Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!
We recently stayed 3 nights at Le General Hotel (Mar 9-12, 2020). We were warmly greeted by Gaëlle as soon as the doors opened and we’re very impressed by the hospitality through the check in process (take a seat, would you like tea or coffee, enjoy some baked goods). It was the most pleasant experience after a very long day of travel & so nice compared to the typical wait in line at a cold desk waiting for your room key! Gaëlle who welcomed us, also took some time to answer some questions my husband and I had, including giving us some maps (of the local area, and of the Paris city centre/transit map) and offered some suggestions on where to eat and what to visit. She spoke English well, made us laugh & was a great first impression for the hotel (she also didn’t make us feel like were were putting her out)! Our room was very clean, comfortable and well styled for such a small room (which seems common in Paris) - we even had a balcony which was a very nice surprise! I’m not easily pleased at hotels - typically because of the bathrooms, but everything was clean, and no visible Mold in the shower/tub combo and in the corners of the bathroom floors. Great shower pressure & hot hot water, and the (Skinjay) essential oil shower pods were a very nice touch. We slept great - nice comfortable bed & pillows. We had 1 large suitcase, and 2 small wheeled carry on suitcases. The space was tight (we managed to get our large suitcase opened on the floor between the door, bathroom and bed when we needed to access it) but it was enough space for 2 people. Complements to your cleaning staff, the level of clean remained consistent on each day we stayed (fresh bedding/towels), the coffee station (Nespresso!) & complementary bottled water was restocked every day. We were thankful for the small safe in the room (something that wasn’t offered in other hotels I considered). As first time visitors in Paris, we were unsure of the location, but having the Metro station so close (Republique) we were able to take the train in time to see the sunset at the Eiffel Tower on our 1st night, during our sightseeing & took it back to Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) instead of a taxi to save ourselves (30€) on our way home. We were impressed how easy and clear the metro was to use (we never got lost or confused) and bought t+ tickets (carnet de 10 - 16,90€) for travelling around Paris sightseeing. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, as there were many places we wanted to eat at on our short trip, so we cannot comment on that aspect of our stay. We used the free wifi in the evenings and didn’t have any issues with it, fast & no interruptions in service. On our last day Rachelle, upon checked out, offered to keep our luggage so we could enjoy our last hour in the city before heading to the airport. We had asked about where we could go to buy macarons as we had forgot & ran out of time. Rachelle & Morgane saved the day and offered us a complementary box - talk
For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
