0.11km from Les FauvesI’m putting a quick overview here then including some points worth mentioning. We arrived after a 16 hour flight/travel and checked in on time. We were given the first room on the first floor. It’s the wheelchair accessible room. I’d advise to never stay in this room unless you have to. We wanted to sleep when we got in there. Within five minutes someone tried opening our door. Then after falling asleep ten minutes later someone else tried opening our door. We felt unsafe and irritated. I went to reception and they said it wouldn’t happen again and that there was a conference going and people were confusing our door with the conference room, which is right next door. Bad location for a hotel room. After falling asleep, again and tired as heck someone ended up opening our door, it was a maid and she tried to give me a cushion because apparently they thought we demanded a cushion. I almost had a heart attack. The last thing I want is someone opening my door while I’m sleeping. We packed our things. The first woman we spoke to at the front desk told us there were no other rooms available to switch us to and they were all booked up. When her shift was over we spoke to another woman who was more helpful and got the manager and let us switch rooms. The frustrating thing is the first woman basically denied the fact that three people had tried to come into our room which goes without saying is not the way to treat guests at a hotel. Nevertheless, the new room was up higher and smaller but clean and was fine for our stay. Notes: Bathrooms are modern and clean. The place transmits noise everywhere, so it’s loud. The water is hot, the AC works well, the beds are comfortable and clean. The stairs are a spiral staircase and uneven so watch your step. Overall it’s a nice stay. We didn’t get breakfast as we didn’t hear good things and there’s so many good options in short walking distance from this location. And the metro is basically across the street. It’s a busy area and people riding on scooters are nuts. It’s right in the heart of the hustle and bustle. Not a touristy area so you won’t see a lot of tourists around. Would I stay there again? If I wanted that area, for the price yes, but I’d probably try something else if I’m ever in Paris again.
0.12km from Les FauvesThe place is quite cheap. And also is is very good location. We could see the Tower of Montparnasse from the window. It took us only 30min of walk from Notre Dame. There is a lot of Paris cafes and restaurants around. We booked a room with 2 double beds. Beds are ok, seemed to be cleaned. However the bathroom is quite small. The shower door was replaced with a curtain. Definitely bring you own shampoo and conditioner cause the one provided by the hotel is 2in1 shampoo/ shower gel and is not very good. Staff speaks English but very basic. Staff who met us when we arrived didn't have a change so he wrote me a note with which I should get it in the morning. In the morning the other guy still didn't have a change, so I got it only on the evening of the second day. The worst is that I had a coupon for 10% refund from booking and they have cancelled my booking 2h after I moved in the hotel!!! The guy from the reception couldn't understand the issue and kept saying that it was mistake. In general is ok for one stay, but I don't think I'd book it again.

0.12km from Les FauvesStaff were kind, location was awesome, plenty of shops, food, and the tower to get a great view Near metro and a short walk to Luxembourg gardens, which I loved running in...but the room design is not good. No space to hang anything, a small closet which is hard to get into...no hooks to be found in bathroom and no where to hang a towel etc. Massive desk, but no note paper etc or kettle (pretty standard but could add, as there is heaps of bench space) worst part is the shower, yeah, it's Europe, but it's like smaller than a broom closet. Hard to move at all.
0.15km from Les Fauvesgreat location near metro trains and excellent cafe's and shops. cool, hip neighborhood. within 30 minutes walking distance to catacombs, luxembourg gardens, louvre, musee d'orsay, etc. the walks are wonderful but the metro can take you anywhere if you prefer. great staff. friendly, helpful, very good with english. really nice room overlooking cool street. excellent (roomy) bathroom with toilet and shower. clean and comfortable. worked really well for an adult family of 4.

0.15km from Les FauvesWe stayed here and booked two rooms, one double and one twin We really enjoyed the very good location near to the station and in a nice neighbourhood with a lovely little square opposite the hotel. The rooms were quite small, but very comfortable and impeccably clean with all that was necessary for a short stay. And despite the animated (in a nice way) street outside, the rooms were sound proof. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good (nice choice of baguette or delicious croissants, fresh fruit salad, yoghourt, cheese, butter, jam). Last but not least you can leave your luggage when you check out if you have a later train.
0.16km from Les FauvesThe biggest advantage of Celtic is its excellent location. There are subway stations to turn left and turn right, close to the popular attractions on the Seine River from Gare Montparnasse and the Eiffel Tower Louvre. The shortcoming is that the house facilities are old, the sound insulation is not good, and there is no hair dryer. Seeing that a friend is asking if there is an extra bed, this will vary from room to room... like the affordable single room I have set, I can't put a second bed.
0.17km from Les FauvesOur family (2 adults+2 children) booked Timhotel Odessa for our 3-day Paris visit and we were not disappointed. We required beforehand a room in the top floors to avoid street noise and were treated with the top floor (thank you!). The hotel is small but our family room was spacious enough for us. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The hotel is ideally located in a side-road of Montaparnasse Avenue with a 2-minute walk to the nearest Bus, Metro station which was superb. The Luxemburg gardens were a beautiful 15-minute walk away. The breakfast could be given a little bit more attention (i.e. scramble eggs were a bit off) other than we highly recommend the hotel!
0.17km from Les FauvesThe breakfast at the hotel is almost the same, and it is already very good. You can eat, bake bread, etc. are freshly baked, delicious. It is only 300 metres from Monaspas Railway Station and is convenient for taking the morning train to the train station. Take the train station to the opposite left and look at the hotel name (blue). Note: Be sure to walk from the bridge and walk across the bridge. If you walk under the bridge, you will go very far. The room is a bit small, the bathroom shower is small, the elevator can only accommodate one person + one piece of luggage (the smallest elevator encountered). The second is the elevator width and the fourth is the elevator length. The overall feeling of the room is similar to that of a hotel in Tokyo.

0.17km from Les FauvesGood Location! Great access to the Montparnasse Tower Building, Montparnasse Train station, Le Bus Direct #4 (CDG Airport shuttle), Le Bus Direct #1 (Orly Airport shuttle), and the Hop On Hop Off Tour bus route (It is in front of Pino Pizza). --From CDG, we paid for Le Bus Direct #4 and it has a drop off area at Gare Montparnasse. This hotel was across the street. -- When we were lost, the tallest building in Paris "Montparnasse Tower" was our guiding star! It is one of the best landmarks! When we were walking, we could see the building from a distance and we walked right towards it, to the hotel. --When we needed to take the RATP (public transit) back to the hotel, we asked a representative at Gare Lazare. "Which train to Gare Montparnasse?" and they googled to take bus #94, since the trains are not operating due to a strike/ social movement. We made it to our hotel! -- The hotel has super easy check in. We told them our names and we got our keys. We were going to arrive early, but our flight times changed. I sent an email about our NEW 7pm arrival time. -- The hotel rooms were ready for us, with tea at reception! -- Their elevator can accommodate 3 people. -- 2 rooms, clean, good views, good size, and remodeled interiors. I loved the crystal-sparkling wall designs. -- Amenities: Towels were there! Usually, I bring my own. Toiletries in every bathroom. -- The room keys are heavy and must be left at Reception when going out or returning.

0.18km from Les FauvesFriendly English speaking staff. Very close to the station (Montparnasse)bus stop outside. Good breakfast, the room was small but very clean and well kept. The hotel has a lift. There is a restaurant next door that is inexpensive and the food was good.
0.19km from Les FauvesGood location, very close to the train station and the subway station. From the Charles de Gaulle airport, you can take the No. 4 line of the Air France bus. It is the most in the hotel for 5 minutes. The bus has a tax of 18 euros, which is much more economical than changing to the subway. Eating around is also good, there are many restaurants, and there are supermarket bars. You can walk to the city and get to the Orsay Museum in about 40 minutes.

0.2km from Les FauvesI like this house very much. I have a surprise when I enter the door to see the environment. The decoration is very modern, and the home contrast is very good! There are few Chinese tourists, all of them are French tourists or business trips. I have not seen other Chinese people except me. Breakfast is a very good home-style French breakfast, more delicious than most five-star hotels, the restaurant environment is very similar to the Net Red Hotel, each chair is a designer! The location of the hotel is very good. There are restaurants on the street. All kinds of dishes can be found in the country. There are several French restaurants that are delicious and not expensive. They are frequented by locals. I am very happy that tourists are less. There is a subway less than 10 minutes. There is a morning market on the street next to the weekend. I really want to eat it again and bring it back, but I don’t have time to go shopping. I have been to Paris many times, I have lived in many hotels, and I am very happy to live in such a hotel at this price.
Hotels Near Les Fauves In Paris Review
Stayed 9 nights. Got a room in the 5' floor with balcony. Small but very nice. Superb location, some 20 m. from the Rue Rivoli on a quiet small street. No noise at all. Meters from St. Jaques Tour and the Hotel de Ville (Municipality). Exit from the Hotel de Ville Metro station, exit Rue Coutellierie, has mechanic stairs till the street which is not so common. For elderly people, or with baby trolleys, etc. is perfect. Walking distance from Forum des Halles, Louvre, Pompidou Center, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, etc. Everyone speaks english. Stephan speaks Spanish as well. Very nice and helpful good looking and cooperative guy. Completely refrubrished. Insulated walls prevent from any noise from other rooms or street which is anyway very quiet. Beautiful, small bathroom. Small but has everything. New furniture. Wooden floor. New and very good quality of towels. Very good heating. Kettle and coffe machine in the room. Now cons: not everything is bright: The room is perfect but very very small. Has very little shelves and room for clothes. Beautiful but extremely small. Need to improve exterior entrance which is brown, dark, and old, leaving a not nice impression. Nice and clean lobby but outside look, needs improvement. Same with the corridors rugs. I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends, those who don't mind to stay in a very small room - but very nice and pleasant.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
In Christmas 2019 in France, I ordered a Superior King Room (with sofa bed). The size of the room is already relatively large in Paris. The two 24-inch boxes can be spread out and can be used at the same time.
Hotel location: In the 1st district, about 10 minutes from the Louvre if not. The entrance of the hotel is Line 1 and Line 14 subway stations, which is very convenient (although we happened to strike in France when we went there, the subway stopped ... But it is very convenient to live here if you come here to play). There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel downstairs, from McDonald's to Italian French and Japanese. There is also a 10-minute walk from St. Eustache Church. The church will have an organ show around 5pm on Sunday, which is worth a look.
Room facilities: There is a kettle (I originally brought a portable kettle, but the boiled water has white foam. In the end, I can only use the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel's kettle is quite clean. The shampoo and bath are two in one. Washing hands and washing face in one. The smell is very comfortable. It doesn't dry out after washing.
Breakfast: Special! do not! it is good! We stayed in Paris for 5 nights. One of the most anticipated daily is the hotel breakfast. There are various types of bread such as ham, bacon, cheese, and baguettes. The best thing is their croissant and small square chocolate filling. The bag has a particularly crispy outer skin, and the inside is very soft. The fruits are also cut. The oranges, kiwis, pineapples, grapefruits, bananas, and watermelons are also available. You can also squeeze the juice directly (but the grapefruit is a bit bitter and is not recommended ), The coffee machine is also self-service, there are latte, fast coffee, cappuccino, etc., hot dishes are omelet, tomato sauce, bean sauce, boiled potatoes, etc. Others are oatmeal, raspberry juice, grapefruit juice and orange juice ( Of course it's ice). If you want to eat fried eggs, you can tell the waiter that the kitchen is fried and delivered to the location.
Overall the hotel experience is very good.
Booked based on location before reading reviews so was a little nervous about what to expect. Have to say I saw no evidence of the poor maintenance shown in some photos, the public areas of the hotel and our room were in perfect order and very clean. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the front desk is manned 24x7. We arrived far too early for check-in hoping we could just leave our bags but the room was ready so they let us have it right away. They kept hold of our bags for us until an evening flight on check-out day too. The room was quite small but that's normal for the old buildings in the area. Shower was over the bath but decent pressure. Location is ideal, at the quieter end of one of the less busy streets in the Marais, so only two minutes walk from all the cafes, bars and restaurants but not too noisy. I will happily book again next time I'm working in Paris.
I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions in the past, and after a 10 year gap I returned to Paris for a few days and booked again. I was not disappointed! The location is just excellent...Pompidou is a block away, BHV literally opposite. Le Marais, Notre Dame etc. are a short stroll, and everywhere else a quick metro ride away. I was in town for work but even being tired at the end of the day, getting out to eat and sightsee in the evenings was effortless. The hotel has a contemporary boutique feel - stylish but subtle and nicely updated since my previous visits. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and my room was modern and comfortable. I opted for the express breakfast each morning, which offers juice, coffee and a selection of wonderful fresh breads and pastries. A perfect start to my day and again served by a welcoming and friendly member of staff. I can't recommend this place enough, and I will be returning on my next Paris visit!
We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of February. The first two nights were on the 3rd floor facing the street. It was significantly loud with traffic and street noise. On the third night we switched to a 4th floor room that faces the courtyard and alley. MUCH quieter. Both rooms were executive sized (larger than standard.) It was nice to have the extra room, however, there were at least two too-many pieces of furniture in each room that ate up a lot of the space! We could have done without the extra side chair and occasional table. (Or keep those two and get rid of the love seat!) It didn't help that my wife and I each had two large pieces of luggage each. The furniture is a little dated but not unsettling. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. (although the shower had a very slow drain and the pan backed up with a pool of water, yuck.) One more thing about the first bathroom: The faucets were a design of smooth chrome; so smooth that it was impossible to turn them off with wet hands! Design fail! The executive room we moved to on the 4th floor was a bit bigger, and better laid out. This one had a tub shower and workable faucets! FTW! The roof deck is NOT TO BE MISSED! One of the best views in Paris! All front desk and cleaning staff were gracious and very helpful. I would possibly stay here again if only for the location and roof top view!
