The hotel is a short walk from the Phaya Thai Station, all you have to do is walk down one side street and you are at the main road where the train station is. A lot of older reviews mentioned noise from construction and the trains passing through and at this point that construction must be complete because I did not hear any, although I did hear the trains passing through (not surprised nor bothered given the close proximity). The room is nice for what you are paying for, the sink is a little awkward and small since you can't really place any toiletries on its counter. The bed was pretty rock solid in my opinion so if you are a light or sensitive sleeper I can't exactly recommend this place for you. The hotel does provide transportation to and from the train station for those with luggage, but apparently that only runs until 6:00 pm so be wary of that. I didn't try the breakfast and I wasn't even sure if it was offered as it didn't appear like it when I passed by each morning. Disappointed that the gym is no longer there although there is a pool still on the top floor. It's not going to wow you in any way but its acceptable for what it is and the good customer service from the front desk. Would I stay again? Probably not, but it did the job as acting as a place to crash each night after long days of exploring in the hot Bangkok sun.

Excellent experience here! Everything was tiptop, loved the spacious & comfy rooms, except the soundproofing especially during weekends - the guests could get loud. The breakfast had a lot of hot food items, changed everyday but only 1 type of white bread & no yogurt. Salads, fruits & dessert were great! Location was a bit further away from Pratunam market & the lane was very dark at night. but still walkable. It was fine for us as we preferred the quieter area & we used the free buggy to/back from the nearby drop off points - excellent service provided by the hotel! Our twin room has a nice view of Baiyoke Sky too! Overall, if the price is right, absolutely recommend this hotel!

I lived in the new building the toilet was smelly and the bath area without curtain the water was wetting around the floor . For the location is near to the BTS but u need to cross 3 road to arrive the BTS. There have s as garden next to the lobby the environment is pretty and relaxing .

The location is very good. There is a large 7-11 next to it, which has everything you need. The front desk service is also okay, but unfortunately the room supplies are not very sufficient. There are no slippers, toothbrushes, or even an extra pillow.

1. Excellent location 3 mins away from train. Lit up alley even at night /just grab bike is safe for females too cause its only like 1 min drive in. 2. Hot water is available throughout, you can load hot water during shower and bath tub at the same time. 3. Very safe for travellers, double locked doors, 24hr receptionist. Opposite another bigger hotel. Need card for lift access 4. Excellent Service and staff can speak simple English. Ford from front desk help me to make bookings/call and even tips that I didn't think of. 5 star! 5. There's no pool or gym but a pretty restaurant at the lobby. Next trip I'll try it out! Unique menu and the whole hotel is super insta worthy 6. Right outside is a public gym if you wish to go. 7. Clean and comfortable room Only con is liaise with front desk using line. So may face some issues as a foreigner/no line account. Would be good if a platform without a need to log in was used instead

The location is next to an interchange train station, so it is naturally excellent. Cleanliness is excellent too. Service by the front desk can be better. When I asked for bottled water, the front desk staff told me I am ONLY entitled to 2 bottles of water per day. Sounds so calculative, compared to many other hotels I have stayed before, where I will be given four bottles when I only asked for one. Facilities-wise also very basic. Breakfast is very basic and so don't expect much; it is just good to fill the stomach. The only good service comes from the afternoon-evening bell boy who speaks good English and help provide lots of useful information.

Room is spacious, have all the necessities, free flow mineral water and room slipper upon request. Sound proofing is bad, you can hear everyone walking, talking and even the lift sound when you stay at the last room. Avoid Room 402, water pressure is very low. There will be power tripped when you are using water heater in Room 608, we have to go to the “electrical switchboard” to switch it back ourselves at least 5 times per shower which is dangerous.

After a week’s stay in Bangkok, I had to check out at 1 pm from my hotel, and as I had a late evening departure from BKK, I wanted an inexpensive place for a few hours where I could keep my bags, change clothes, take a shower and lie down a bit. So I booked the Florida for a one-night stay at the bargain price of 28 EUR (and actually didn’t even spend the night). The hotel might look dire from the outside, and it sure is a remnant of the 1970s, but it is still a solid choice for anyone who needs a place to stay the night before an early flight. The hotel is located right next to Phaya Thai station, and you’ll be on the airport train platform within three minutes. I checked in at 1:25 pm. The hotel seemed quiet, the lobby was empty and a bit dark – as if the hustle and bustle of Bangkok had suddenly vanished. The receptionist was friendly and spoke some English – not much, but we got by. I got my room immediately. No key deposit was required. The room was of good size. While it was definitely outdated, everything was clean and tidy and nothing was broken. There were two single beds, a bit hard, a desk & chair as well as a coffe table & chair. There was efficient and quiet A/C, and two hotel-branded 0.5 L water bottles were provided. There was a fridge, but no safe. Charging your devices was easy, there were sockets behind the bedside table was well as next to the desk (both at floor level). Wifi was free and fast, but limited to one decive only. I didn’t ask for a second wifi code, perhaps they would have provided that on request. The bathroom came with a bathtub and a handheld shower, but the hose was short so showering was a bit difficult. The water was lukewarm at best – okay for showering, but don’t plan on taking a hot bath. Water pressure was adequate. Soap bars and a minibottle of hotel-branded shampoo were provided. I was happy to find a swimming pool in the small backyard. While the pool wasn’t huge, it was quite adequate and the water temperature was pleasant. Bring a towel from your room. There is a restaurant, too, but I didn’t try it. By European standards, I would rate this hotel at 2.5 stars. For the price I paid, I definitely got value for money so in its own category, I would say the hotel did really well. Just don’t expect the Ritz. I wouldn’t hesitate to book the Florida again if I need a place to stay before my flight. I would happily spend the night here, too, but for a longer stay, I would look for a hotel that offers more amenities.

Pros: 1) good breakfast with a wide range of choices: Western and Chinese. Booked breakfast for 7 nights and enjoyed it every day. 2) attentive staff and reception. We had an early flight and reception kindly allowed us to check in at 10 am. 3) The nearby Duty-free shopping center is a pleasant bonus 4) the gym is well equipt Cons: the bed mattress is not high and is a little squeezable, so I did not like it.

Great stay with awesome location for me. It’s my usual area in Bangkapi where I have always stayed. Lat Phrao 101 BTS station is 8 mins walking distance about but taxi and motorbike all there as well so for my travel and business events it’s perfect location This is the newer hotel with convenient shops like 7-11, lotus supermarket, and many restaurant options within the area. Free parking if you drive or get dropped off, the parking lot has plenty of space. I’ll be staying there again for sure.

Excellent -Islamic- hotel at a 20 minutes distance from Suvarnabhumi Airport and at 5 minutes walk from Hua Mak railway station. Very quiet airconditioning in the room, no ( working) airco in the corridors. Decent breakfast. The hotel consists of two towers. Only one elevator per tower is not handy, with 9 floors. Marvelous swimming pool at the 9th floor of tower 1 with view over Bangkok. Would definitely stay here again.

I am not expecting super clean nor super complete rooms in Pratunam area considering this area is very crowded with stores and market activities. This hotel has provide exactly everything we need for the area. Clean bed and bathroom, sufficient towels, free flow mineral water and very reliable fast WiFi access. This could be the most suitable hotel to choose in this area. We saw there are a lot more more 'fancy and luxurious' hotel nearby, however most of them located above very busy and noisy market with knock down stall which may cause unnecessary noisy for your sleep. This area is almost open 24 hours. Cloud 9 just the right choice which located on a quiet corner. This hotel could be hard to find even if you use online map. Try to look for Benz hotel. This cloud 9 is next to it. we will definitely choose this hotel again when we had a chance to visit the area. We do not hesitate to recommend this place to our colleagues and families.

Our stay at Shan villas was excellent! This is a new hotel in the heart of Bangkok and it did not disappoint! Great location, a short trip from the On Nut Station. The villas are spacious with a great open air concept, beautiful interior and really beautiful pool! We highly recommend booking the jacuzzi villa as you can spend time with your friends in a villa that is very reasonably priced! We had the warmest welcome from all Staff members and we treated exceptionally well, they made us feel at home instantly and assisted us at all times for anything we might have needed, our stay was truly made by the incredible service we received, the food was the highlight of the stay! We opted for the floating breakfast and it was amazing, and a night at the rooftop dome dining experience, the food was delicious and top quality seafood too! Very fresh and both options of Thai and Western food! We would definitely stay at Shan villas when we are back in Bangkok! A huge thank you to all the staff who made our stay so memorable! We will be back and would highly recommend this stay!

The hotel staff is wellcoming and helpful .The hotel is located close to the night market and many massage parlors. There is also 7-11 next to hotel. We have booked room Club-10，This room offers many complimentary services including free laundry, free minibar and access to the club lounge, The room is very spacious ，the bed is huge and comfortable ，the bathtub is right next to the window with a spectacular view. The housekeeping is great, ready to help with anything. We were disappointed with the fridge as it was not cold enough, our ice cream melted over night. The breakfast offers a variety of dishes, but the egg station gets quite busy, they also make fresh juice with a fruit of your choice. The swimming pool is on the roof with an amazing view. It’s not big but doesn’t get crowded. The only disappointing thing is that it’s quite cold especially early morning and at night. I would definitely come back to this hotel again with my boyfriend .😎

The three people stayed in a room with two bunk beds for 4 people. The room was clean and hygienic. Convenient transit, 15 minutes walk to the airport. I stayed in two hotels in this location, this and the Tangman Hotel. This cleaner sanitation facilities are better. Tangman has 3 buildings, the air in the first floor room is almost, there is an airport transfer but you have to pay. They are all in the village next to the airport, and it is very convenient to eat.

The hotel is situated not far from BKK airport and good for early flight or late arrival. Lat Krabang is the nearest station on the airport express. For longer stays the twin bed rooms are not very large. There is a fridge and kettle in the room and the rooms are clean with a work space. Outside is a lot of green and in the back there is a small pool with relaxing area. There is also a massage facility and a restaurant but both seemed closed. Friendly staff and nice coffee shop/ restaurant down stairs in reception with reasonable prices. Most of the shops, malls and restaurants are across the very busy road (do use the pedestrian crossings for your safety) with your back to the hotel Paseo Mall is about 12 min walk to the right and to the left in the direction of the airport you will find a market, shops and restaurants. Both are across the main road. Good value for money.

Stayed here for three nights on a quick “weekend” getaway trip, and wasn’t disappointed. The room was very big, with a bedroom and en-suite seperate from the living area and kitchenette. Bed was a king size and very clean and comfortable. En-suite was big, clean with a bathtub/shower. Toiletries and clean towels supplied everyday, but there wasn’t a hairdryer just FYI. Chaise lounge in the living area along with flat screen tv and DVD player. Dining table and full size fridge, with bottled water supplied daily. We bought our own coffee and milk, but complimentary coffee is offered every morning down in The Sip cafe. There’s a nice rooftop respite too, and the washing machine is up there if you need to do laundry. Staff are very friendly, accommodating and polite. We really enjoyed our stay here! There are also a couple of Michelin Star restaurants down the street, along with a very good suit tailor just around the corner. Highly recommend if you want clean, quiet, self contained accommodation not smack bang in the city. For us, it was central and an easy walk to wherever we wanted to go, but there are plenty of taxis and tuk tuk’s available in the street if you’re not a walker (like us). SBS...clean, safe, comfortable and affordable, we like it!!

It's great. The location is super convenient. It's just next to Pixel Building. Two roads and two subway stations are not far away. There's an elevator and it's very convenient to go upstairs with luggage. The smell of herbal tea in the elevator is very nostalgic and the air conditioner is very strong. Downstairs is 711. Every night Wang Jia Er standing guard for you makes me happy just thinking about it hahaha I want to eat supper 711 is downstairs! Every morning, I go to the fruit stand downstairs to buy fruit. The owner of the stall is very cute, but he can speak Chinese but not English. When checking in, it may be that there is something wrong with the Ctrip platform. The aunt at the front desk inquired for a long time and charged a deposit of 300 baht. At that time, I thought there was still a deposit. The page for booking was not written. I was a little unhappy, but I still cooperated with the payment. Returning the deposit is very reassuring and it must not affect the staff I like very much afterwards. The hotel provides a simple breakfast, including coffee, milk, toast, eggs, etc., but the Ctrip page states that there is no breakfast. After arriving at the store, the clerk offered to provide breakfast. Wow, it was an unexpected surprise and it was very convenient. The auntie who baked bread for us at breakfast is also super nice and warm. I came back late to borrow a hair dryer. My son wanted to have a pod hotel experience on our Thailand trip, so we choose this hotel for our last night before flying out early in the morning. I would say it was a great option for a younger backpacker/traveler on a budget. We bought out an entire room so had private showers. The lockers were small, but we didn't need them. Not the best option for a family with a lot of luggage, but pretty clean. We did have a few people knock on our door in the middle of the night and try to get in for some reason.

Location - nearby Phra Khanong BTS station (approx 5mins walking distance). But hotel do provide free transportation to this station, but u have to liaise with the receptionist. There is one 7-11 store nearby (approx 1mins walk). Mostly local street foods nearby this hotel. Transportation - I took DMK airport taxi to this hotel (40mins drive) and cost me THB370 (inclusive of THB50 airport surcharge and THB50 toll fee). It’s very convenient to take BTS to siam, pratunam or chilom area (about 20mins train ride. You may buy a one day BTS pass which offer unlimited ride in a day. Breakfast - good variety come with various fruits, drinks and dishes. Overall - highly recommended.
