Inauspicious from the outside, but what the hell! We were only looking for a place to be together en famille for one night before Christmas. On entering the hotel (slightly slithery in the snow on the way down to the entrance, be careful), I was immediately struck be the warmth and friendliness of the welcome. It was casual, easy-going and friendly - all smiles and cheer. The rooms were perfectly adequate: spacious and tapestried with a sort of funky medieval battenening, designed to feel like a 3* suit (could have slept three); and beds comfortable. I didn't check to see if there was a mini-bar, but there was a TV (which I didn't switch on). There was was a little balcony which made me wish I still smoked and a small kitchen - in case you wanted to prepare your own food (I didn't). The restaurant offered only the one dish, the special: vegetarians and non-pork eaters beware, although also proposed t-bone steak. We had the roast pork and it was very good, excellent recommendations for Swiss wine (la Petite Arvine) and the Johannisberger was also very good. All in all, an address I wouldn't hesitate to return to.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly, especially the waiter and the receptionist, a big thank you to both of them. It seemed to us that the staff would work 14 hours since we always saw the same faces. We can highly recommend the restaurant, the price/performance ratio was very good. The rooms didn't look like the pictures. Some things didn't work, such as the toilet fan or the missing lamp. The wellness area has a small sauna, the Roman bath looked like a construction site and the brine bath wasn't heated enough for me. In addition, there was only a massage table in the relaxation room, which was controlled by a robot/AI. If you like machines more than people... Breakfast was a little disappointing, fruit wasn't cut, no veggies, pancakes were just left out until cold. Anyone who values a delicious breakfast will not be happy there.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple nights to unwind after a stressful winter season. The hotel itself felt quite dated, as did the rest of leukerbad, but it’s still pleasant... the spa was really nice and relaxing, although the sauna is supposed to be open from 11am, they didn’t turn it on until 10:45, so it wasn’t up to temperature until after midday... the mattress was abit too firm for our liking. We ate dinner at a restaurant in the village on the first night, the second we chose to have dinner in the hotel restaurant, when we arrived they hadn’t put a table up for us, so we were put on a free one, our main course arrived pretty quickly and was lovely, a massive lamb shank with risotto, the desert took an hour to arrive after finishing, we don’t mind waiting and could see the waiters were really busy, and we completely understand as we work in hospitality, but some acknowledgment would’ve been nice, they just walked past our empty plates about 5 times and didn’t bother to ask if we’d like another drink, how the meal was etc. Overall, a nice stay, and not a bad price!

The hotel waldhaus has the most gorgeous views from my balcony, I love looking out at the mountain peaks and waterfalls right outside the doors that open to the balcony. My friends and I also had dinner twice at their beautiful restaurant and has the most delicious food. I love the foie gras and chateau briand entre 😋 Joshua our host and the lady of the house were very attentive to our needs and made us feel welcome! So happy Macs Adventure booked us in this wonderful hotel! It deserves 5 stars ⭐️

The hotel waldhaus has the most gorgeous views from my balcony, I love looking out at the mountain peaks and waterfalls right outside the doors that open to the balcony. Temporarily change the itinerary and take a hot spring by car. The hotel has a hot spring experience, do not need to go out, the old five-star hotel, the service is very good, the bedding is also comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable, the room is relatively large, there is a bathtub, and the balcony room is casually large. The hotel has its own indoor hot spring, comfortable and not cold, watching the snow-capped mountains hot springs can be achieved. The only downside is that the location is a bit biased. It takes to the bus stop Diana to have a place to eat and close at 5 o'clock. The hotel can also order food, about 45 Swiss francs per person. Hotel breakfast is OK. Remember to book a hotel car. The hotel must make an appointment one day in advance for the bus terminal. If it is not a self-driving car, I want to push my luggage directly from the station Diana to the hotel. Several large slopes 😂
