I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews for this hotel. I only saw them after I booked as my usual hotel in Leuven was full. I was a little concerned based on the reviews I read but the experience I had was very pleasant. On check-in I was told they had upgraded me. The room was large and clean if a little dated. Location is very central so although there is no restaurant for evening meals there was a restaurant downstairs and plenty more close by. The breakfast the next morning was very good and super fresh. Well worth a visit.

I read a few reviews about this place before staying here so I knew the rooms were small. I had a nice stay, the room was fine, comfortable bed, nice shower, double glazed and reasonably quiet. I was woken a couple of tume by outside noise but nothing major. Breakfast was also nice, continental. The location was good, 5 mins walk from station and town centre. I was visiting for football and this was perfect for just one night. Would stay here again.

We stopped here with an hour to spare before our train, we speak little Dutch but do try, our menu was in English which was a good start, but the manager’s approach to insisting that, as we only ordered one main and a side (the main was for my husband and the side for me as I wasn’t too hungry) we would be charged a sharing fee. I later clarified we wouldn’t be sharing and the fee was revoked but it made us awfully uncomfortable. It was also a very very hot day and we asked for tap water, we were told there was none available and to pay for (expensive) bottled water - we’re both students travelling on a budget so we ended up waiting until after leaving to drink. We got our (oily) food to take out but weren’t offered a bag or cutlery, the food’s oil leaked over everything in our bag as oil does. Overall we would never return. It is a nice building from the outside though!

We booked a couple of rooms for a weekend break - there was a summer festival on so Leuven was packed. The staff were really helpful from the start, and we were impressed with the way they managed to remain friendly and calm, even when they were busy. Our rooms were spotless, well laid out and had pretty much everything you could need (although the addition of a kettle would have been nice). We slept well on the comfortable beds, and made good used of the air con as it was pretty hot outside. The soundproofing was very effective and we didn't get disturbed although the hotel was full. The breakfast choices were great, particularly the waffle machine, and we also enjoyed a few beers in the reception area bar. We can fully recommend Ibis Beer, a specially brewed bottled beer created by Ibis staff members. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay - the hotel is in a good location, close to the city centre, and we thought it provided good value - it's much better than many of the budget hotels we've stayed in before, and also exceeded some of the more expensive hotels we've experienced in the past!

Worst experience ever. Booked it for 2 nights. Dropped our bags and had to leave directly for another appointment. When we came back at the end of the evening we saw the poor maintenance and cleaning. Packed our bags and moved to a hotel which could help us out (after 23h). Next morning shot some photos of the appartments which are certaintly not fit to be rented out. After calling the assistance we handed in the Keys before check in time. Ultimately, only received back our rent for 1 night, not even stayed there. Explanation was that it could not be rented out for that Day (ofcourse not true because keys were handed in before check in time). Conclusion: zero understanding and in short they just scam people with renting out these dangerous ruins. Be warned and do not book with BE.housing.

This hotel is simple in facilities, just like our Chinese university guest house, just in meeting in Leuven, this hotel is expensive, the hotel has no door, you have to swipe to enter, ask where the card is not checked in, go for a long time It was still the card that a student helped to check in. inconvenient.

When we checked in the guy at the front desk said, " breakfast is over there from 7-11." Great, we thought. We went for breakfast the 2 nights we were here. No one made us sign in for breakfast. It was good, but we didn't eat much, just a pastry and a coffee, becasue we had lunch plans both days. On checkout, they were like 4 breakfast at 20 EUR each, so 80EUR for 4 coffees and 4 pastries. We were floored. No one ever mentioned it wasn't included which is typical in Europe, we'd just come from another hotel in Belgium that had free breakfast. If breakfast costs money you have to inform your guests. You can't just tell them to go to breakfast without saying it cost's money and not just a little bit of money. For 20 EUR we'd have had a hard pass. So from now on we're going to give this hotel a hard pass and I urge you to do the same.

Located next to the train station, the room I was in was from the train, but the cars and motorcycles passing by on the street were sometimes noisy. The hotel is very clean, there are no disposable toothbrushes and no electric kettle. The front desk service was very good.

I stayed at the Park Inn Leuven for four nights in April 2022. I was able to request an early check-in since I arrived to Belgium in the morning, and the process was seamless. It is a nice hotel that has everything you need and it is only a few steps away from the Leuven train station. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had many different options. I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Leuven!

We stayed here just for one night and I was impressed for the money, it’s not a massively expensive place to stay and it’s all very modern looking, we stayed in room 2 which was a good size and a nice layout the bathroom was good but the shower wasn’t great and the head attachment didn’t work well, not a big deal really. We grabbed dinner at the restaurant (pic below) and I have to say the food was great, lovely fillet steak!!! Food came quickly and they even had an English menu 😉 would defo stay again but the only downside is the train, it’s noise and travels past the back of the hotel within 30meters... you’ve been warned
