We stayed at the Villa Madame for the final 2 nights of our 12 night vacation to Prague, Budapest, Krakow and then Paris. Unfortunately, this hotel was by far the "worst" we stayed in. Realizing "worst" is a strong word, I'll explain. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by the front desk person, Nathan. He's friendly and welcoming. When we were shown our room on the fourth floor we were just surprised by how small it was. Some might refer to it as "quaint", however......it was small. And for the price we paid, we didn't expect that small of a room. At the end of such a lengthy trip I asked Nathan if would be possible to have champagne glasses brought to our room (we were with another couple). Nathan did bring us 4 glasses of champagne, but each glass was half filled and luke warm. The next issue was the overbearing heat in our room. Yes, Paris was experiencing unusually warm weather for late October. I went downstairs to again speak with Nathan, this time about the air. He told me he would simply have to hit a few buttons on the computer and the issue would be taken care of. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. No air was ever circulated through our room, expect for the air from the window which we kept open all night. The next issue wasn't completely the hotel's fault, but they did nothing to help the situation. The room next to ours had their television on the entire night. And it was on loud. Our hope was that at some point the occupants would go to sleep and lower the sound. Finally, at 4:30am I called the front desk and again spoke with Nathan. He said he would make a call. I'm still not sure what that meant. The tv finally went off when the guest left the room around 5:30am. We know he left then because we could hear everything happening in his room. Next up - the bugs. We killed a bug on the wall (which was not cleaned off by housekeeping) and we shared our room with a few other bugs throughout our stay. Back to the air and noise issue. Next time we saw Nathan, there was another manager at the front desk. We again asked about the air, or lack there of. A different explanation came this time. We were told there was nothing they could do about it because the air is basically turned off for the season in early October, which actually makes some sense. Expect, Nathan had told us a couple times that the air would be fixed and turned back on. And then we asked about the noise from the television. In regards to the noise, there really wasn't much they could offer expect for an apology. Our point was that we called at 4:30am and nothing was done about it. We then told both Nathan and the other manager that their website clearly states: "adjustable heating and air conditioning in the rooms" and "double-glazed windows and sound proof walls". Their response more than surprised us. The other manager told us that the website has been up for many years and no one had ever pointed out these items like we were

3 of us went for 4 nights (aged 18-23) and had a lovely stay. Even though we speak very little French the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Nice friendly vibe as it is a family run hotel. Anything we needed they would help us with. The rooms are basic but when all you need is a shower, bathroom and somewhere to rest your head its perfect. Old Parisian decor and a view overlooking the nice quiet street at the front of the hotel, the rooms are clean and safe. Also we stayed out late most nights so the staff would give us a key to let ourselves into the hotel after 12am which was handy and meant we could take our time on nights out. The only thing I would have appreciated was some air conditioning as it can get quite warm at night. The location is amazing, supermarket right opposite the hotel which is convenient. You are a short walk away from some of the main streets around the area lined with lovely French bars, cafes, restaurants and some major shop outlets too. We walked to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower comfortably from the Hotel and found the surrounding area to be lovely and safe.

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!

We stayed here for a week and always received a warm welcome from the hotel staff. The women working the front desk were genuinely happy every time we passed and went out of their way to make our stay special. We arrived much earlier than check-in and were informed that our room type was updated, they would have our room cleaned within 30 minutes if we wanted to wait, and that we would receive free breakfast for our entire stay! What a wonderful way to begin our first visit to Paris! The hotel was clean, our room was spacious, altough we did have issues with our room being too warm. We turned off our heating unit, and then opened the window, which sufficed for us. The hotel is centrally located in Paris, close to the metro, otherwise within 3 miles of every major tourist site, which we appreciated being able to walk to and from. We will definitely stay here again on our return to Paris. Thank you for a memorable stay.

I stayed at Hotel Le Saint Gregoire for 6 days/5 nights. I highly recommend it. The hospitality of the management, the reception staff, and hotel employees is exemplary. They organized a tasting of Beaujolais Nouveau 2019 one evening, which was very pleasant and a great way to meet other guests. My bedroom was comfortable and very clean. It faced the street but with the windows closed, it was really quiet. No noisy and rude tourist groups here. The hotel is small and its sitting areas in the lobby are very cozy. A huge plus is that it is only 2 minutes away from Metro St Placide station and is within short walking distance to so many places you'd surely want to visit. If you like food, there's La Grande Epicerie, Maison Verot, and one after another of chocolate stores, pastry shops and bakeries. Also try the canned sardines and seafood of La Belle Illoise (and bring some home). If you like shopping, there's Au Bon Marché, Degrenne, Conrans, Lacoste, and countless small boutiques with unique products. If you like grandeur, there's the Jardin du Luxembourg and beyond that, the great pastry shop of Gerard Mulot. Within 20-30 minutes of walking is St. Germain des Pres, Notre Dame. Musée du Cluny, Sorbonne. There are enormous possibilities of filling your days with fascinating experiences, just radiating from this hotel as your base. And at the end of the day, and even when I was returning at 1 or 2 am (!), I was always welcomed warmly to a place that felt like home. I will surely keep returning to this hotel.

The hotel is right next to the Luxembourg Gardens, the environment is very good, about 500 meters away from the subway station, you can walk to the Orsay Museum, etc. The environment in District 6 is relatively safe, very quiet at night, not like Paris at all. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it is full. The room is fairly spacious. The disadvantage is that some of the lights in the room are a bit problematic, and there are no disposable toiletries such as toothbrushes.

Ok first off, the location is perfect . Abundance of shops and restaurants . There is even a mini grocery store nearby at the back street . If traveling as a couple, pls book a superior room because the standard room is super tiny . There is no way you can open your luggage because the space is just too tight to move . It’s a room for a single traveler with only a carry on. And this was on the 6th floor. The elevator only goes up to the 5th floor so you have to drag your luggage/s up the winding and narrow staircase . Bad enough the elevator is a size of a small refrigerator . It was so frustrating the night we arrived from the airport apart from being tired . Fortunately, the front desk staff were very understanding and patient with me since I was annoyed already. They were able to find us a superior room to our liking . So I commend them with excellent customer service.

The room of nearly 1800 nights can only be said to be general. I booked a room for 3 people, giving a double bed + a single small bed. The quality of the sheets, quilts and towels is good. The quality of the toilet paper is also good. The water in the bathtub and washbasin is not very smooth; the hotel house is marked with four stars, and there is still a gap! The lobby area is not very large. If you like to visit Le Peng Marse, you can consider it, the hotel is opposite the Le Peng Marse, far from the classic attractions! After the last day of our visit, we went back to the hotel and prepared to take the baggage. The waiter at the door asked enthusiastically whether we needed to drink water. We didn't want to say anything. After the drink, the old man took the bill and asked for 6 Euros.

We just finished up staying here for 6 days and could not be happier. The room was exactly as we expected, smaller than some but it was a decent size and not cramped, best of all it was very clean! The staff in the hotel are so lovely, very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and clean, new, and the public order is good. The hotel lobby is a glass sliding door. You need to swipe your room card to enter. The room was flat with 2 large boxes without pressure. The toilets are also very large. There are 2 sets of L'Occitane in a house, and a large bottle of mineral water is given away. Walk to the LV main store for 2 minutes, and make early purchase without pressure. It only takes 2 minutes to the Hermes George Avenue branch, and Bulgari is also nearby. If you want to buy luxury goods, you can put it back in the hotel before you continue. Do n’t worry about safety. 7-8 minutes walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. The only bad thing is that the front desk called me at 10 o'clock in the morning on the day of check-out. This is a bad experience ... The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport. The hotel said the price was basically the same. The cafeteria and gym are located in B1. There is a Royal Treasure in the hotel, not sure if it is the same as Shanghai.

Such a great experience to be here. Easy to get to from the train station. Actually all subways in Paris are easy to navigate. The hotel is really close to everything, Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triumph. And lots of Brasseries. Markets, bakeries and coffee shops. A safe neighbourhood. The room was great. Very comfortable beds. A breakfast is only $10EU each daily, far more cost effective than buying outside the hotel. Save your money for lunch or dinner. Lovely staff, so very friendly and helpful. This is a family owned and managed hotel. We'll go back here for sure.

I stayed at this hotel during my first trip to Paris in the 1990s. I continued to stay there every year until 2005, when I stopped traveling to Europe for a few years. In 2018 I returned to Paris and Hotel Emile under its new ownership. They had really done a lot to spruce up the hotel even before COVID 19. My husband and I love this hotel because of its great location. The metro is just across the street. There is a great cafe downstairs on the corner and a grocery store, pastry shop, boulangerie, fromagerie, librarie, etc. all within less than a 10 min walk. It is on the edge of the Marais, the best place in Paris for night time wanderings, in my opinion. And best of all, the hotel is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a real warmth and family feeling at the hotel. I wouldn't change Hotel Emile for the Hotel Charles V!

There had been mix up over the dates of my booking, which was entirely my fault. The receptionist could not have been more helpful to resolve the situation. Although my booking had been fully pre-paid and was not in theory refundable, he could not have have been more helpful. I was very impressed; the room was fine as was the bathroom, although the facilities were a little basic. There is a funny lift which starts just above the first floor and goes almost to the top floor - which does not make luggage transfers too easy. However, as I have already stated service at the reception was second to none. Breakfast was included in the double room rate (large) of €129.00, which is a real bargain for a hotel in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. We enjoyed our stay here for a week - located just off the Jardin des Tuilleries.

A very cute hotel. We were in the bottom room, with windows that opened to the street. It was a little loud first thing in the morning or when other guest were rowdy due to being located right next to the lobby, but overall that was only the most minor of things we noticed. The bathroom was fantastic- heat towel rack, quality products, wonderful hot water/high pressure. Lots of closet/storage space. Seperate WC. the room was larger than we expected as well. Front desk was so friendly- greeted us each time we arrived, and were able to provide us ice on request (I tore my acl just before the trip, so needed ice regularly after a day of touring). I loved the writing desk in the morning sun- although the view was of the sidewalk, the transparent curtains we perfect for allowing in light while softening the view. The windows both had shutters inside to block out light/sound, and enough still space you could sit and read a book. Location was ideal...the Montmartre area is wonderful. Very close to the Blanche metro line, a short walk to two others. Although just two blocks from Moulin Rouge, absolutely no issues with noise or crazy crowds at night- in fact, it meant some great street food places were open late! Very near to bakeries, fruit stands cheesemonger, easy to grab something quick if you needed. Several cafes a stone throw away with perfect breakfasts and coffee. Near to Van Gough's apartment. A beautiful stroll to the love wall, sacred heart, dali museum and artist square- and thays with me being hobbled with my completely torn ACL! There is a secret food tour that starts and ends in the same area as the hotel to give you an idea of how wonderful all the nearby choices are for eating. 12/10 stay, would definitely stay at this location again. The decor is quite nice, it has a cozy feeling. The breakfast is quite lovely, nice selection of french goodies, so definitely a plus. The only downside is reflected in the location: if you go to central Paris, you often go small for this price. Excellent location, with 5, 6, 7 subways crossing. The room is small and basically adequate. For Chinese guests, the biggest benefit is that it is close to the Chinese community, Chinese restaurants and supermarkets have more choices, and apartment hotels with kitchens can also cook their own meals. The disadvantage is that the front desk of the hotel is slightly rigid. The air conditioner in my room does not heat, and the warranty for 2 days has not been resolved. The Ibis conditions are quite good, but the surrounding environment is too bad. When we heated the food at the front desk, because of the large amount of luggage, we managed poorly. We didn’t know when someone had taken a bag and was stolen some cash. One person ran back sweating and said that he saw someone taking our bag and he was chasing it back. Then we checked that the cash was gone. But the two of us were too stupid, and thanked each other. Later, the people around me should be the thief... Then we contacted the hotel right away, the hotel expressed anger, but we finally had no right to monitor even the monitoring, who did not know who to take How to get it, can't recover it. Although there are a lot of French policemen around the market looking at the market, everyone said it was useless. . Advantages. - Situated on Rue de Lyon near railway station. Close to Ledru Rollin metro station. Not far from Bastille square. - Hotel is very fresh because of its transformation from Adriatic Hotel to Locomo Hotel. Disadvantages - I payed for my stay a week before and had confirmation. But when I came to hotel, I needed to pay extra costs (taxes) - plus 5,64 euro. It could be more convenient to pay once, not two times. - Sound insulation could be better – you hear what your neighbor doing. Two nights I often was awake because of sounds of conditioner which switched on and off. - The outlet in the bathroom was poorly mounted. It was obvious after finishing drying hair. Also cabin walls were not convenient. - Not convenient elevator due to extra ladder steps on ground floor and upper floors Also I could not immediately find hangers but there were in the room. So I found them a little bit later. But I was satisfied with the hotel despite these disadvantages
