I tried to leave tips for the maids 3 times, but they didn't take it. The reception was open 2 times a day, and their English was very good and they were very helpful. I will definitely stay here again, if we visit Trapani again. 👍👍👍👍👍

|2.2km from city centerWe spent 2 weeks traveling around Sicily and this was our favorite B&B! The property is lovely with beautiful gardens. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. We liked the outside table and chairs and sat out there often. There was a distant sea view. We ate in their restaurant for breakfast and dinner. All was excellent. Everything is grown on the farm. The real stars of this B&B is the staff who were very helpful answering our requests, handling the laundry, cleaning our room and serving our meals. The location is off a main road and near other main roads but it is out in the country.

The replacement was worse: rude and completely not interested in the problems of the customers. - Overwhelming stink of cheap after-shave accompanies you everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, your room. I cannot help it but think that this is their way of covering some ugly aromas around... If at least the bugs were to run away from it, but they don’t: flying bugs, hopping bugs, crawling bugs, all kind of bugs - Pathetical bathroom and shower, fit for a motel, not for a four star hotel. - It’s in the middle of nowhere, so you are a captive audience. As such, you are charged ridiculous prices: €24 for a Johnny Walker black, NYC price, €3.50 for a miniature bag of chips - Pool is not heated - Towels on the grayish side and fading fast - The Prix fix dinner is ridiculous: a starter of eggplants, cheese & tomatoes and some pasta afterwards, accompanied by four glasses of wine, one smelling and tasting like gasoline ( to their credit, they replaced it when we complained). - Barking dog all night long - Noise from the near-by highway, nonstop. |0.32km from city centerHonestly there are not enough words to express what we feel about this place. It started as a lovely little 3 night trip planned for myself, husband, son and daughter in law. As promised the hotel had arranged our transfers .. bang on time and perfect. The hotel looked like a true diamond in the rough - stunning in every way, relaxing, great location, spotlessly clean and fabulous breakfast. Friendly staff at both reception and at breakfast….. however then the drama started… On our second day our flight was cancelled and the earliest flight home meant we would have to stay 3 extra nights (shame). Unfortunately the hotel had no room for us, but they did have a new apartment (20 minute walk away) by the beach for a great price.. perfect we thought! Then the next day I was struck with food poisoning (not from the hotel I might add)… I was very unwell.. spent the rest of our time in the hotel in bed. But it was then time to move to the apartment (no way I could walk) so they arranged a member of staff to drive us and show us in to the apartment. The apartment was stunning 5*. I ended up spending the rest of the holiday in bed and then in hospital for 24 hours, but the service didn’t stop. The hotel knew I was unwell, kept in touch with my family ensuring the continued to enjoy themselves, asking how I was, offering assistance etc. I was discharged from hospital the evening before we left for home.. the hotel arranged a taxi from the apartment back into the town for me to enjoy my last night without having to walk. That’s not to mention the beautiful couple who lived beneath the apartment who arranged hospital taxi etc. I haven’t even mentioned just how beautiful the area is, at first glance a little rough around the edges but such charm and by night the most magical and romantic of places… the people are stunning in every way. I know this is a long winded review but I wanted to express the next level service, compassion and pure perfection that is this hotel and their staff.

The hotel is lovely, very comfortable and easily accessible from Trapani centre. The staff are all very approachable and knowledgeable. |3.48km from city centerWe traveled to Sicily and spent four days in Favignana. It was a lovely island, and we rode bicycles all around and explored. When I chose Mangia's the comments in the reviews were a bit mixed. Overall, it seemed like a nice resort, so we booked a seafront suite. The suite location was beautiful. I will start with the positives of our trip: --Giusy who managed the bicycle rental was lovely. She was super helpful, and that made exploring perfect. --Aurora and a young man at the front desk were kind and helpful. --The General Manager, Maurizio Figuccio, was very kind. He listened to us, understood our complaints, and had a nice approach. He wasn't able to solve our issues, but I appreciate him spending time with us and listening. --The pool, bar, and restaurant team members were kind and customer-focused. And the pizza was good. Let me talk about where this property could improve. I will start by saying that I do not believe customers are always right, because they aren't. Sometimes they are just wrong. That wasn't the case here. --We stayed in the seafront suite - I believe it is one of their best rooms. The room needs a makeover, and that includes the shower. A horrible smell came from the shower drain when the water was on, and the bottom of the shower walls need work. --The walls in the room are paper thin. Paper. Thin. I was startled because I thought someone was in the room. That is how clearly I could hear the conversation. There was no privacy. I heard every word, sound, flush, and everything else. Everything. --The bedroom had curtains that could block the outside light. There were two windows (each window with two curtains to block light) and a door with one curtain. It blocked half of the light. We went to reception and asked them to install the other curtain, and they didn't. We went back the next day and my husband was told that 'they asked the housekeeping lady and she said the curtain should be able to cover that entire window and they believe her.' Wait, what? Now, we took a picture of all three windows (see attached), including the empty curtain rod that should hold the missing curtain, but they didn't believe the photo. We invited them to come to the room and close that curtain for us, and they declined - because they knew there was no way to cover that window. So, we woke up early for four days because of the light. The receptionists were rude and didn't care - at all. I am attaching two photos - decide for yourself. --Do not disturb. That sign had no meaning. They literally had to lift the Do Not Disturb sign to insert the key into the keyhole. And they kept coming in there. It's bizarre because, you know, we were asking not to be disturbed. My husband was awake when housekeeping entered the room (while I was sleeping) and asked the housekeeper why she entered when the sign was on the door. She responded that 'sometimes the signs fly away,' which is true, but he pointed to the sign on the door, and she walked away. We p

|1.97km from city centerUPDATE - following my below review on my initial experience the manager sought me out to apologise and to resolve the issue regarding my room. I was shown the bungalow and an alternative hotel room. The bungalow was cute and if I was travelling as a couple it probably would have been my preferred option. As a solo traveler the hotel room seemed more appealing. It was also very much appreciated to get a heartfelt apology. An additional note regarding breakfast; if you are looking to avoid carbs (not easy in Italy anyway) then fruit and yogurt are really your options (they had a bowl of boiled eggs but that didn’t appeal) I wouldn’t want an English breakfast (I don’t have those in England!) but it really was just rolls and pastries (which did look delicious) My first night here was a disappointment. I was given a box room with a fold out bed (see pics) when I had actually booked a deluxe bungalow. I was told in a very nonchalant way that they were fully booked and there was plumbing issues with the bungalow. It’s a beautiful place for a wedding and wouldn’t begrudge anyone getting married but the music and party was very close to my room and very loud. Dinner was challenging as I don’t eat seafood so had limited options and as mentioned before; trying not to overload on carbs. The menu is heavily seafood based, which I assume is normal for the area, so ordered a salad and was given a bowl of chopped iceberg lettuce

I usually stay in my families home but it is in the middle of renovations so I chose to stay at Marina di Petrolo for my stay and it was the best decision I could have ever made. the location is perfect, you're walking distance from lots of great restaurants and attractions, amazing views from your room and the staff and hospitality were fantastic. On my last day I decided to splurge and booked a Relax massage; great way to wind down before taking my long flight back home to New York. Giuseppe my massage therapist was great he set a very relaxing zen atmosphere. The massage lasted an hour and I was so relaxed I fell asleep midway through. Will for sure be booking another massage next time I am in town!

The little cafe just down the street made fresh food and lovely coffee. The staff were so friendly and helped with booking trips to the islands from the port which is a few minutes walk away. They also recommended restaurants to eat, how to get to the beach and the cable car to Erice all within easy reach. The staff also organised our transfer to the airport. |2.42km from city centerWow. From the moment we arrived this place was excellent. After a harassed airport experience (London), we hadn't properly eaten and had been up since 2am. The reception when we checked in asked us if we would like them to call the restaurant to stay open for us as it was about to close. They weren't aware of our starvation so this was such a welcome offer we were very grateful. So we got our late lunch. It was fabulous food. Much appreciated. We were upgraded to a sea room view and no steps (godsend with a 2 year old). The resort was very quiet I think early May is not peak season. Which we loved. Pool days were maybe us and one or 2 other guest parties. No fighting for sun beds or all that malarkey. Pool freezing but stunning. Once you're in its actually quite lovely but initially takes your breath away. Maybe in peak summer it's warmer. The room was lovely, cleaned every day, to an excellent standard. I would prefer 2 pillows to the 1 each provided. Kitchenette fully equipped, no salt and pepper and no kettle but we used a saucepan for hot drinks. No bother. There's a great supermarket called Deco not too far which you can stock your fridge with lovely Italian fayre. You need a car here as the roads aren't walkable, I saw few taxis and public transport appeared a bit of a lengthy process. Breakfast! What can I say. I've been home a week and still miss it. Fresh fruit, cereal - your usual, then eggs, sausage,bacon (OH says delicious). Pastries, cakes, olives. You name it. The waiter takes your coffee order and brings it to your table with a stunning view out to sea. Impeccable friendly service from all staff. The play park a welcome area when you have a toddler. Overall a stunning location, excellent, clean and fabulous service. Would visit again without a doubt. Thank you!

The water is warm and clean. At the pool there is a beautiful garden for aperitif services and a restaurant (food and meals). Be sure to try Gambere and a sandwich with tuna, salad and a special tomato. A white wine that smells like fresh lemon perfume, it's great. The service inside the hotel goes to the signature for the room. So everything is made easy for you. You don't have to carry personal documents and money, or bank cards and wonder if you'll ever lose them. Room are amazing and luxury. We will come back to this wonderful hotel again. Marsala is a historical place that you will enjoy to the maximum. You can visit the Marakaibo beach with an agreement at the hotel reception, which will organize a transfer for you within 15 minutes from and to the hotel with a 30% discount on sunbeds and umbrellas. |2.18km from city centerWe have just returned from the Seawater Hotel. It is a lovely hotel kept spotlessly clean and with really friendly staff. The rooms are a good size with air con and very large comfy beds. Breakfast is great a mix of fresh fruit, cheese, hams and bread and an array of pastries and local treats. In the evening there is a good restaurant that when the weather is good food is served by the stunning pool. There are a few options for each course. If you have the trio of cheese starter which is lovely you can share between 2 as its a big portion. Location wise its in a quiet area on the main road into town. We didnt have a car and I would recommend you have one but you can walk into town in about 30 mins. Be warned some of the pavements are quite slim or none existent but it wasn't too much trouble. You can book the hotels shuttle into town for €5 per person each way and they will also help organise trips for you. We didnt use the spa but the 3 pools are great and a real asset to the hotel. Our only slight problem was they don't do lunch at the hotel so we went to the local supermarket a 5 minute walk and got some things for the room. There is also a local cafe probably 10 mins in the other direction, Cafe Caramel which was great but a bit of a limited choice. The staff are so lovely and helpful it was a great holiday and would definately recommend it.

The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and it is very good to find a large swimming pool and seawater, the sea downside is not easy to find in Pantelleria, the room is very large and its view is very good. The hotel is a large room but is close to the locks to be made. Free breakfast with undermark products ( nutilla cream instead of classic nutella ) , save the part of the cakes ( of course not made on the site ) and cornets ( but also the cornets of the day before are delivered !!! ) A buffet dinner just enough but with poorly exposed foods, small containers so they end soon. One night the grape is finished because not enough for you. Slight cleaning. Very similar to a business meal. Restaurant room untreated as cleaning and very sad. I paid 2.50 a pot of mineral water as a bottle. Staff unstable. The day of departure in the room where you had a fast breakfast given the hour ....formic. Externally some scarfs seen . Ascensor more than once not working. It is an extraordinary location and 2 beautiful swimming pools but I repeat in a sparkly environment. I don't know how some visitors may have given positive opinions for breakfast and dinner. The resorts have many other features. A recommendation ...se you can only sleep and use the swimming pools and the sea.

The whole resort, including the room, is very clear and well kept. They really take pride in what they do and offer to their customers. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was sumptuous, especially the croissants with Pistachio cream (very delicious). We managed to also use the pool. It was spotless clean and we had a lovely time relaxing swimming and staying by the pool. They also gave us very good tips what to see and experience in the area. Thanks to their advice, we maximised on our Marsala experience and learnt more about this beautiful wine region. The service is very friendly yet professional. Obligé de demander un yaourt car le serveur sortait le strict minimum. On a voulu un chocolat chaud...et bien seulement le café était compris dans le maigre petit-déjeuner. J'ai trouvé cela mesquin. |1.54km from city centerWe arrived at this hotel after driving from Cosenza 8 hours. Both my husband and I had colds. We also made this reservation 8 months ago. The young attendant at the check in counter wanted us to sign a bar stipend and write our visa number down. I refused to do that and she gave me a roll of her eyes and was indignant as if I had insulted her! She then proceeded to want to give us ”information” about the hotel--insensitive to the weary, sick travellers in front of her. I said ”no” and she took offense again and gave me one of those indignant shrugs of her shoulders and roll of her eyes as if I had just insulted her yet again. She then put us up in a lower level floor which we weren't happy about. We stayed in the lower level floor for one night. We were not happy about this and asked to stay in a higher level floor for all the other nights. The next morning two tired, weary travellers had to move all our stuff to a higher level floor. We had made this reservation 8 months ago. No consideration for that fact. Because we decided to stay in Trapani for an extra week and changed our plans of going to Pantelleria--due to our colds, we asked to stay in the same room at this hotel for the rest of the two weeks. At first they wouldn't let us stay in the same room. After much talking to the Director and the check in staff, which took a lot out of us as we both had colds still, they let us stay in the same room. The disrespect of their young staff, when we first arrived toward seniors and for putting us on the first floor instead of the higher floors, I asked for a discount on our hotel bill which they refused to do. The staff a this hotel is not accommodating, moreover they are rude, entitled, and treat foreigners with disdain.

|10.65km from city centerWe stayed 4 nights at this hotel at a great price compared to the average in the surroundings. Breakfast is excellent but the great added value is family-run property, the lady, her husband and her parents are very available people, able to do their job well. It was a good relationship from now on, and we were in the evening to talk to other guests until late, really almost a feeling of home. The hotel is a three-star hotel that is not for those who have great demands but if you want to stay in a comfortable area between Marsala and Mazara del Valle, live a human experience of heat and comparison, I recommend it very much.
