Dreadful, dirty, dilapidated, rude staff in 2019. Avoid at all costs or regret you entered here. See my reviews above, and below. I have stayed here most years since 2006. My family lives close by. In 2006 I was impressed by the ambience, staff and antiques collected in the hotel, then named ”Metropolis” after the film. Then, I loved it. Each room was themed after ”Metropolis” and the hotel showed a magnificent collection of antique Philippine and Malaysian art works. I think Metropolis had new owners and named Crown Regency Residencies around 2008. Sine 2008 it has deteriorated. No restoration, same menu as 2006. Good staff have quit. Bed sheets torn, flooring decaying, old air conditioners decaying. Bathrooms filthy,

The Hotel smells, looks and feels clean. From the lobby all the way up to your room. They are also conscious with health protocols and provides mask and alcohol for all guests! Plus they have a UV robot whom they call Crystal (but I secretly call Gizmo) that cleans the room . I personally saw their UV robot so I can vouch for Crystal (Gizmo's) existence.

We went to Cebu for a few days and decided to stay here since the location is near almost everything that we need and the rate is cheaper compared to other hotels nearby. Here are my thoughts: 1. Originally, we booked a Deluxe Room (one queen bed and one single bed) via phone a week prior our arrival. The Receptionist told us that the room can hold three guests since they don't have a room with three beds. 2. When we arrived, I was surprised to see how small the room was. The beds can definitely fit three adults / persons but the room itself is quite cramped for three people with luggages. You can't even walk around the room without bumping to each other or bumping to the furniture. 3. I went to the Reception Area and requested if we can have three single beds instead. In my head, I imagined that with three single beds, we could have more space and navigate a little freely. 4. Arrived back the hotel around 8ish (after having dinner) and was disappointed that our room was not arranged how we requested several hours ago. 5. Went back to the Reception Area and explained what has transpired. It was a good thing that the staff there were polite that kept me from making a scene. 6. I explained (again) that the reason why we're requesting for three single beds because the size of the room doesn't suffice three adults. Receptionist apologized and ALSO agreed that the room was too tiny for us. I almost laughed because when we checked in, I explained to them that we were three guests. They even asked for a 500php fee for the additional person. Why didn't they tell us from the start that the room was not equipped to accommodate three guests? 7. I requested for a bigger room (Family Room) which only costs 100php more than our original room. Luckily, there was an available room the following day until we leave Cebu. 8. Family Room was definitely spacious. It has a one queen sized bed and a sofa bed. The room was adequately clean but there are some evidence of worn out furniture and old sheets (clean but minimal stains). Fortunately, the bathroom was clean and the towels were relatively new. 9. We requested to ”Make Up Room” the next day since will be out the whole day that time. When we got back, again, felt really frustrated because the room was still unkempt and the trash weren't taken out. Needed to call the Reception Area again. 10. They provide free WiFi but they will just give you a piece of paper with the code. And the code is only good for one gadget for two days. If you have like five gadets, you need to ask five vouchers. Since we were at the 4th floor, for some reason, the internet gets disconnected from time to time. 11. They don't offer free water daily. I suggest that you stock up your room with water. 12. Aircon is old. It can cool the room partially because it's just a window type zircon which I think is just less than 1 horsepower. It's manual. 13. No trash bin inside the room. You need to go to that bathro

Spent my required quarantine here for international arrivals. They are one of the approved quarantine hotels. And when I was searching for quarantine hotel before departure, they were the most responsive and flexible as travel covid protocols constantly changed; made my reservation via email. I opted for the package that included meals and airport transportation. Everything worked seamlessly -- from airport pickup to checkout. Hotel personnel were helpful and accommodating with our special requests, room was basic but clean and everything were in working order, beds were comfortable, AC noise acceptable, clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water, and really great wifi which was a life saver while on quarantine.

The mattress was low quality. You can feel the wires of the springs. We turned it over but the same. It really needs a good thick mattress topper. The air-conditioner was very noisy. There needs to be signs in the passage way that should instruct people to be quiet because people sleep here. Kids were noisy, slaming doors and talking loudly.

A lovely isolated venue to get away from it all and soak up the sounds of the sea. The studio rooms are good, although the beds could do with a headboard- a few times I woke up with the pillars on the floor behind the bed. The pool is small, but adequate and there are plenty of other spaces to chill out and bathe in solitude. The shoreline is very tidal and you don’t get to water above knee height until you get over 100 metres out, but, once you get to deep water there is a very impressive reef with lots of fish and even sharks- of the safe variety. The food is of a reasonable standard, but it’s a limited menu and after 3 days, I think I had covered everything I could possibly eat. I do recommend the shrimp curry. Breakfasts were very good. There is work to do in customer service here- although the staff are very cooperative and pleasant, there are not many smiles shown and they seem to be a bit stuck in their ways and timelines. Requesting to have dinner at 7.30pm seemed an issue, as they came knocking on our door at 7.20pm and the food was already out! Playing pool with another couple until 9pm seemed an irritation to them and a request to have breakfast at 7.30am instead of the usual 8am start fell on deaf ears as we sat there from 7.30am until 8am when breakfast was then served..,, no big deal, but this place could be amazing with some thought and planning on making the facilities and staff as well as the location fantastic too.

Very clean and everything is at the top level. The hotel area is tidy, everywhere clean and beautiful. We felt safe, rooms and territories under guard. Room cleaning every day, no request. I booked this hotel with my 11 year daughter to have my birthday staycation. The hotel was quite new and designs are modern. Check in was very smooth with very kind polite front desk officers. I was allowed to have an early check in as the hotel wasnt fully booked at that time and was kind to offer me a room upgrade. I politely declined the upgrade as the bed configuration wasnt suited for me and my daughter. We wanted a twin bed and the room upgrade was for one queen sized bed only. The size of our room was relatively small for a twin bed room. Its roughly 21sqm in size and it kinda tight when all your luggages and things have been all around the room. The Buffet breakfast was on the average side, Hot dishes werent kept warm and choices was kinda limited. But for the average kind of breakfast spread, I wouldnt complain more. The hotel is very near (I mean walking distance) to 7/11 convenience Stores, good quality restaurants nearby , Mcdonalds, Mactan Alfresco etc... I love the ambiance of the community ... its like a little city within a small community. Not that I really didnt like that much, but it was just something that I didnt appreciated much... its the hotel's pool that looks like blurry and wasnt kept clean by the time we went to visit the area. The prices at the bar was kinda pricey and wouldnt offer any happy hour during the day. The Surroundings of the pool area werent kept clean and aesthetically pleasing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Savoy.

So many errors with this hotel. First: The name is a sham! There is no beach at all connected to the hotel. To be honest there are no beaches nearby at all. They do have a maybe 50 meter connection to the sea squeezed in between two big concrete walls, but that should be more considered as a torned down harbour with a rocky coastline if anything. Often with lot of garbage floating close to shore. Secondly: The hotel tries to make money out of external events hiring their grounds, which happens to be all of the common areas left outside your own room like the pool area. We stayed there for eight nights (15-23/5 2022) and from 8am to 11pm there were about two to four events every day making noice and playing loud music constantly. Often at the same time. In a very limited area there could be a private birthday party playing live music, a private student celebration with a DJ and by ”the beach” a private fitness event playing loud bass music - all at the same time. So to try to relax was impossible. When that stopped around 11pm it was almost a relief just to hear the constant noice from the heavily trafficked road right outside the reception. Talk about reception, the third problem: Their wifi sucks big time! We were there working and it was impossible to do our jobs properly using the room wifi that was crashing most of the time. I know that the Philippines are not Europe, but since the wifi in the reception was always working, it depends more on poor equipment than the bandwidth. Maybe they could use some of the event money they earn and put in new equipment? Lastly: The service in the restaurant is terrible. To get food under an hour even if it is almost empty is impossible. And to get everyone served at the table at the same time never happened. But that seems to be a general Philippino thing. The room cleaning has also more to wish for. It is hard sometimes too se if they even has done anything more than just make the bed. But at least they filled up the toothbrushes. I think I had four untouched at the end... If they would put that efficacy in all they did, it would not make up for the constant sound pollution and the false name, but at least skip some irritation. With all this said, if you like to live in the middle of an amusement park - this is the place!

I would give it a 3/5 for my 3 nights stay! The rooms were clean and quiet. It is away from the loud music or noise from elsewhere. The rooms are new as well. It is cheap so you get what you've paid for. Staffs at the Front Desk can be a little more welcoming to be honest. They will just look at you when you pass by the Reception especially during the afternoon time shift girl and guy and the 2 guys in the Morning are the coldest person ever. I think that what is lacking! They find it hard to greet you even a hi or hello! They should learn from the staffs in the 3 star Hotels in Bohol or Palawan. Despite their Hotel is not new they even out the experience with a sincere and welcoming smile. Could have also been better if they provide a minibar or a water kettle to have some coffee or something. If you are on a budget and no issues with unwelcoming staffs in the Hotel, This Hotel is recommended!

We tried out this little place because of the location near the airport and Cebu port. The rooms were small, but comfortable, and most importantly, clean. We visited multiple islands and we were there mainly to sleep or to get more items to visit another location. During the times we were out for multiple days, we paid for storage instead of paying for the whole room. The owners were incredibly nice and super helpful. After explaining our plans to them, they recommended transport options and locations. Only downside for most people, is that there is a 10 pm curfew. If you’re looking for more of a nightlife, this one might not be the one for you.

The Hotel is quite central, 10min by foot to mango square where are restaurants, bars and clubs. A 7/11 also is quite close. The security guards are very nice, the rest of the staff was not so much. Avoiding eye contact and even no hello/goodbye. There was an air conditioning converter running all night and that was very noisy the whole night. difficult to have a good sleep.

I sent all the receipts and booking confirmation to validate our claim that we paid a triple room. Fantasy is a good name for the resort because everything about redefines paradise. The bungalow suite had a working jacuzzi which made a very comfortable bath and steam sauna which was ideal for me to relax in. The kawa baths were my favorite as we watched the sunset while in such relaxing and hot water. The messages were nice and hope someday they will make a dedicated room just for that feature instead of it being in the rooms. The staff were all very friendly and worked with me online when though my schedule kept changing even ending transportation for me and all of my Filipino family that joined. I would highly recommend staying at this resort and it made my family bonding time absolutely magical.

My and my friend decided to spend a night at Cebu City before heading off to Bohol. We came across this cozy hotel located at the very heart of the city. We didn’t expect much since room rate is very affordable, perfect for backpackers like us. Much to our surprise this hotel exceeds our expectations. From our arrival time until our departure we are being assisted by their friendly staff. They made sure our needs are being met. The room is very clean from the floor to the sink, to the bathroom (which is my favorite by the way, because of its chic design). Bed is super comfortable, and they provide complete amenities as well (soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste). At the ground floor, you can find your basic needs since there is a 24-hour convenience store, restaurant and pharmacy for your immediate medical attention while on travel. There is also café, milk tea shop, massage spa, hair & nail salon, dental clinic and study center within the hotel building (at the 3rd floor). This hotel is worth every single peso we spent. It was late and my relatives called me up if i can book them whatever is available so i booked them to the first place that pop up after clicking on search. The place is near establishments. The guard was friendly but he receptionist was plain. If only there was an ample of time for the booking i wouldn't choose this but it's late so they're thankful for this place for people who weren't able to book ahead and just needed a place to stay ans and rest before traveling.

The Plaza is a good place for people on a budget. The rooms are cozy and well decorated with good AC. You are just across from Robinson's Mall and Jollibees restaurant. The food is great and the price is nice. Only 45 minutes to airport or Pier 1
