2.75km from Lodygina StI was in Perm for few days for the wedding of my friends and this hotel was assigned to me by my travel agency. It was a very pleasant surprise to find out that it was in the same building where some of my friends live! It is not the fanciest place that I have been to, but it proved to be better than expected and the staff was extremely friendly! Not to mention that I was lucky to get a room with the city view 😊

4.24km from Lodygina StFor a research exchange I got the opportunity to stay one month in Perm. I am very glad that I picked this hotel, with its two very welcoming owners. I had a big room with a comfortable bed, a desk, and bathroom with bathtub for myself - always clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen is shared, you may bring your own food or order breakfast or the house-made pelmeni. But really the best thing about this hotel, as other visitors already described, is the welcoming atmosphere, the hospitality of the owners which helped me with any kind of the problems that you face when you come to a new country where you don't know the language. The owners are mother and daughter, both very cheerful, funny, and mindful persons, and especially with the daughter I chatted if four languages: English, Russian, German, and Spanish. There is a guitar in the kitchen which add up to the feeling of being at home. And you have to try the homemade Sirniki, they are so delicious! Perfect place for my work trip, where I on the one hand had wifi/silence for working and on the other hand enjoyed all the happy time with the owners and staff. Not to forget how close it is to the city and how spacious the rooms are!
Hotels Near Lodygina St In Perm Review
We stayed at the hotel July 7 to 10th, came to visit my mother's grave and meet with the relatives. Our checkin was handled unprofessionally as we were made to feel unwelcome in our own motherland. At all other times the staff were fine. I had chosen this hotel because of it's location and it delivered on that: slightly off the centre, close to everything and much quieter at the same time. There are plenty of restaurants around to have a nice meal. Quite unexpectedly for the largest country in the world, we found ourselves in one of the tiniest hotel rooms we've ever been. But it was clean and the cleaning staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfasts were more than adequate (at least for our Russian tastes) with plenty of choices. The mood was slightly dampened by the horrible music played on TV in the restaurant.
Very clean hotel central located good restaurant. Very kind people that fell yourself at home. Courtesy is their must Excellent breakfast and top food presentation Rooms with nice view and very quiet Air conditioning system and eating sistem very effective and easy to manage

I vacillated between 3 and 4 stars for this hotel but came out at 4 because of the really lovely reception staff who couldn't have been more helpful. The first impression of this hotel is almost scary because it is just one of many businesses and domestic accommodations within a single, scruffy, USSR-era building. The Gallery Hotel occupies just part of one floor and the common parts of the building are not reflective of the quality of the hotel. The tiny lift is reached via a few stairs and is one of the fastest that I have used. The door slams shut almost before you are inside and the lift sets off rapidly almost before the door is fully shut. No waiting around! The Gallery Hotel is on the 7th floor according to a sign but you have to take the lift to the 8th floor and then walk down a short flight of steps to the hotel's front door. The door is locked and only opened after you press the bell. Entering is a slightly Tardis-like experience from the scruffy stairway into a fairly standard if small hotel reception area. I arrived late from a somewhat delayed train and the receptionist on duty spoke no English - but she tried really hard and used a Google translate computer program when we got into difficulty. My room was a standard and fairly high quality hotel room. It was in very good repair without a single obvious scuff mark anywhere. Clean carpet, queen size bed, desk with a fridge under it to one side and 2 closets. The fridge had a small selection of drinks. The individual A/C unit worked well. The password protected wifi seemed to be room specific and was fast and stable. The bathroom was modern, clean and bigger than others that I have had in similar hotels. Although the building is on a main street I heard no street noise with the windows closed and no noise from the hallway either over the 3 nights that I stayed. There is no restaurant but an in-room breakfast is provided with choices that are well prepared and filling. The hotel is very central, within a few minutes walk of the river and easy walking distance of all the downtown attractions such as the museums and the old train station. A tip to travelers - the Perm Tourist Information is very willing and helpful with English speaking staff and only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel on a street with good coffee from a place opposite and a couple of quirky upstairs cafes (Sister's Bar and Staff Only) near by. All the hotel reception staff went out of their way to be helpful, even calling a taxi for me using a personal telephone app with the night receptionist hanging around some extra time to walk me to the cab. If you can disregard the building the Gallery Hotel is a good place to stay in Perm.
We wanted to stay in one old soviet style hotel on our Trans-Siberian journey, and with limited hotel options in Perm, we chose the Ural, A clean, comfortable, well priced, and quiet stop, it's in a good location and included a varied breakfast and wifi. Access to wifi required a code texted to a phone, daily, which we were unable to secure; however, helpful staff were always available and obtained and passed along the code. We booked transfers and a tour in advance through Permturist travel, located on the 2nd floor of the Ural. From correspondence to pickup, Taissia efficiently handled all arrangements affording us a brilliant tour with an exceptionally knowledgeable guide and outstanding driver, to Perm-36 Gulag - Tour highly recommended!
I was on a business trip and it was the hotel I put up for a short stay. Despite the first impression, I found myself in the room which met all my needs after having been to Finland and Cyprus several days before. I liked the cleanness and the style of the room, the space I had, the bathroom. Definitly location is its obvious advantage as the hotel is easy to reach from the center and the bank of the river.
