Stayed here with my husband & my parents in January 2020 for 2 nights. The hotel is beautiful and in such a fantastic location. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were lovely. Breakfast in the morning was lovely & lots to offer. Was in the basement room downstairs and is a wonderful room. When we checked in we was given a box of chocolates for a email that we had from the hotel which were lovely - this was a nice little touch. Tea & coffee facilities in the room, shampoo & soaps. (& slippers!) The only issue was we checked in around 1.30pm and was told to come back at 2.00pm - I asked if our rooms were ready and I was told no. After being up at 3.00am and with my elderly dad with us going straight up to the room would have been perfect but wasn't the end of the world. Thank you for a lovely stay & would 100% stay again!

This was our second visit to these apartments as they were really lovely last year so booked again. It’s always best to confirm which apartments your staying in as they are dotted around the old town and they may change your location when you arrive. This time we were moved to apartments on the same street as the US and German Embassy. No cars allowed in the street and police patrolling outside. Breakfast is included but I i new from last time that the restaurant is small and always too full, so as agreed to could pick up breakfast or have it delivered. On the second day we didn’t receive the breakfast as pre-arranged but when I contacted reception to question the manager called me straight away to apologise and he brought over the breakfast that night as we were leaving 5 am the next morning and would miss it. He was very accommodating. The apartments themselves were lovely and clean and really spacious with 2 double beds and sofa bed, table and chairs in the huge living area and separate kitchen with dining table. The only issue was that the boiler was rather loud and but luckily it never happened late in the night. The apartments are located just around the corner to the main square and a 5 min walk to Wawel Castle. All in all another beautiful apartment in an excellent location and after the initial issue staff were very helpful.

Booked via Lastminute.com for a short city break for a birthday treat. Allocated Apt; Huckleberry sleeps 2. My title reflects our experience. The apartment was perfectly adequate for the price. There were pros and cons. Just be aware before making your choice. You get what you pay for. I can now appreciate what some of the previous negative reviews were were referring to but I can only speak as I found. We arrived late on, around 8pm. As promised someone had stayed on to greet us and hand over the keys. Remember folks Polish people tend to come over as gruff, they’re not actually rude unless you are. Relax you’re on holiday! Our elderly hostess had about 6 words of English and I had 6 of Polish which we found pretty amusing. With much smiling and hand gestures we managed to pay our balance get our keys and were shown to our room. The first thing that happened as she left us was the door handle coming off in my hand….yep, it was going to be a comedy of errors! (don’t worry the handle slotted back on) First impression: Fairly recent renovation. Still smelled of plaster. Student type digs furnished completely from Ikea. Not as slick as their website photos, looking a bit tired and some poor finishes here and there, but still perfectly functional. A good clean and some small attention to detail would improve it no end. Pros: Cheap. Considering you’re a few steps from the city centre the price is amazing. There’s McD’s almost opposite and a couple of 24Hr Carrefour Express shops in your street so you can grab any provisions you need. Flat screen TV, no English channels but does have a USB port so take your own shows on a pen drive if you want to watch anything in bed. Comfy bed – it may not be a king size but it’s a perfectly comfortable mattress. Spotless fridge. Hairdryer – considering it’s travel size – worked well. There’s a covered 2 pin socket in the bathroom to connect it to (Remember your euro socket converters if you take your own or your hair straighteners) Free Wifi worked well. Cons: Stairwells outside your door carry noise a lot. Especially when your neighbours go clip clopping out at 5am! Ear plugs are useful. Never felt the radiator get warm once during our stay. It was around 2°c during our stay, but if we did get cold we put the electric heater on. The shower in our apartment was one of those cabinet affairs that was utterly useless. Nowhere to hang or place your toiletries. It’s not that easy to bend down and grab your shampoo in one of those things. The rainfall head sprayed water all over the top into the air and on the floor. The body Jets sprayed water through the doors, the normal shower hose worked fine but you couldn’t angle it on the bracket, so pretty rubbish overall. Nowhere to hang towels. Please put up a towel rail or some hooks. 2 rather hard, worn looking towels provided. A hand towel and decent floor mat wouldn’t go amiss. Watch out for the dual toilet flush, the button likes to stick down

The location is very good. In the Old Town Square, it is a five-minute walk from the Textile Hall. There is a restaurant with rice and fish in the vicinity. The environment is excellent. The hotel is small and fully equipped. The breakfast is very rich. Traveling will also help to book a car. There is a convenience store opposite. Low-key but warm hotel.

The hotel is located on the bustling pedestrian street of the Old Town, about 500 meters from the Grand Bazaar and less than 100 meters from the city. There is a bus stop there and the traffic is very convenient. But it was a bit noisy at night, and there was a bar 50 meters across the street. The waiter was very polite and stood up and greeted the guests every time they walked through the front desk. Krakow is beautiful and well worth a visit. Unfortunately, breakfast is more monotonous.

First about the rooms. They have been recently renovated, adequately furnished and very clean. There is a small kitchen in a common area outside the rooms. The building is quite secure. This is a self check -in, you will get a code for initial entry then a key fob in a lock box at the main entry to the rooms. We booked the shuttle service they provide at an additional charge of $99 PLN. Our driver was waiting at the airport, brought us to the apartment and helped us with our bags. Other nearby conveniences include a Milk Bar just a few doors down from the apartment. This Milk Bar is a must do if you have time. Milk Bars have been around Krakow for about 100 years and originally were places for workers to eat. Quite ethnic and reasonably priced. There is also a convenience store past the Milk Bar and just right around the corner. This apartment is conveniently located about 2 1/2 blocks from the main square and about the same from the Barbakan Krakowski and about a 29 minute walk to the train or bus station. Our hosts (who we never met in person) were quick to respond to our emails and very accommodating in receiving and delivering tickets we have pre-bought online beforehand or anything else we needed. The downside. There is no working elevator in this building and the apartments are on the 5th floor. We are in decent shape seniors and the one or two trips a day up and down didn’t bother us. Our initial impression on entering this apartment building made us question our choice but once we got to our room, those doubts were put to rest. No problem staying here again if we were to return.

Me and 15 of my colleagues were traveling on our annual fun trip and this time Krakow was our destination. I arranged the flights and accommodations so 3 apartments from District17 seemed like a really good fit for our needs, and they were but there was some mishaps in the beginning.. They arranged us some trips and transportation from the airport to the apartments but soon as we landed and tried to look for our ride, there was no-one there. We waited around 30min and i kept constant connection with our host. There was honest mistake and they forgot to order our ride in time. Of course i was bit mad cause 15 people were relying on me to handle things and straight from the beginning things went bit south. People from Loft Affair handled situation really good. Apologized, did not make any excuses and they took care of whole transportation bill so in my opinion, if mistake is made, you cannot handle it better than that. Other mishap happened with our apartments. Because of the booking system had some problem and made double booking for one of our rooms. So it had to be changed to a smaller one. They called me 2 days before the trip so i was aware of that. Good that they let us know but it was so close to our flight date that i did not have time to arrange new apartments for 16 people so we decided to just go for it and sleep bit tighter than we originally planned. They compensated that with some wine and vouchers for massage parlor close by and later sign out from the rooms cause our flight was late in the evening. Again, very well handled situation when mistakes were made, even thou this time it was not their fault, system just bugged. (at least i hope) Anyway they were really professionals and rest of the trip went beautifully. Trips to salt mines and auschwitz worked like a charm and prices were reasonable. Apartments were really clean and decor was really well thought. Location was amazing and everything interesting was on walking distance. Restaurant downstairs had good breakfast and there were couple nice small pubs just around the corner. Toilets and showers were clean and easy to use even for bit bigger fella. Not really fan of those "glassboxshowers" so gladly they did not have them and you could actually move your arms without hitting your elbows all the time. Could not hear any street noises or voices from other apartments. Balcony had nice view to inner yard and sun shined there at least a bit so it was nice. Overall with that price/location/quality i would definitely go there again. And even thou there were some mishaps, they could not have handled those any better so i have to give 5/5.

We were guests at the Hotel between 19th -22nd March. We were appointed very nice rooms catering for the needs of our students. The staff were exceptional, helpful and were quick to resolve any issues we had during our stay. The Breakfasts were substantial and well organised to cater for two large school parties. the 2 Lane bowling Alley with the pool table and table football provided a great spot for students to relax and the staff to unwind. We will run the trip to Krakow again next year and we shall be back at Hotel Wilga in greater numbers. Its quiet and a fair walk from the Centre of town, but that was also an attractive feature of the hotel

I recently stayed in Hotel Bogoria for three nights in January. The hotel is off of a quiet alley/side street in the middle of old town, so the location is exceptionally central while still maintaining some solitude/privacy. The lobby is small but purposeful and nicely laid out - with two rooms on either side of it, which have couches and one room has a television. Staff were always smiling and willing to go above and beyond for any assistance I needed, while still remaining extremely pleasant and professional. That being said - the room types here (at least the one I stayed in - Superior Double Room) are a little bizarre. I understand that it's a very old building, but the way they have arranged the rooms is a little peculiar - in particular, the bathroom in my room (204?) had a strange layout for the shower. When you walk into the room itself you enter a small "foyer" with a small with a toilet + sink, a separate room with just the shower. The room with the shower is MASSIVE and could have easily been the whole bathroom, but instead, they opted to place a TINY plastic shower enclosure in this space and it's relatively disappointing and uncomfortable. I can completely understand it being done if space was at a premium, but again, the room the shower in is very large and I don't understand why they made this poor design decision. Beyond that, the room itself and the bed are very comfortable and the decor has a bit of an older "feel" to it, while also being very clean/new (in my room, the "room" with the bed was actually separated from the foyer area, but for some reason didn't have a door in between the foyer and the sleeping area). The sleeping area was actually generously sized, though. The rooftop patio of the hotel offers some amazing (but slightly limited) views of the city and is certainly worth checking out if the weather permits. Overall I did enjoy my stay here, and would likely stay here again - but would prefer a room with a better shower configuration as the one I received was disappointing and frustrating.

Travelled with grown up daughters for a 3 day Xmas break. Angel House organised taxi to key pick up, directions to property where a bit confusing but once found we were all very impressed. Everywhere was spotless, with a nice little balcony to sit out on. There was everything would need, in kitchen a fridge, microwave, dishwasher ect., and bathroom with enough towels, power shower lots of hot water. Very spacious for 3 adults, lovely comfy beds 1 double and 1 double bed setee with crisp white bed linen. Excellent location a few minutes walk to main square, lots of bars and shops and about 15/20 mins to Jewish quarter. A word of warning the property is above one of the cheapest and popular bars in Krakow which is open to 6am so it's quite noisy but that didn't bother us. Would definately reccomend and would stay here again.

A great hotel in the Jewish Quarter which is around 1 mile from Krakow Old Town. Spacious rooms which are well heated, complimentary tea/coffee/water on arrival and a breakfast spread which is quite amazing! The curtains didn't quite fit the window but this is a minor issue as we were up early each day to explore the city. Tram stop almost outside the front door with regular trams into the city centre. Lots of bars and restaurants in the Jewish Quarter but if you want to eat an evening meal don't leave it too late as they start closing at 10pm. Bars all open much later.

Stayed for 5 nights in February, very pleased with our accommodation. We were staying on the top floor of the Town House and as i was completing check in our luggage was taken up for us (no lift but stairs no problem for us). The living room was very large which included a double bed, living area and a well equipped kitchen. Upper floor landing had a single bed, a separate large double bedroom and x 2 bathrooms. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well furnished, modern mixed with old style charm and character. Location could not have been better, very central for square, restaurants, pubs and sightseeing. Booking and transfer was arranged with ease through their website. If we came back to Krakow again, which is most likely, we would definitely look to book here. Maybe one of their other rooms which we were shown, again fitted to a very high standard.

The apartments belong to Agnieszka Radwanska - the best tennis player from Poland, which was the number 2 in the WTA ranking and won 20 tournaments, including WTA Finals in 2015. All apartments are inspired by Agnieszka's career and you can find there souvenirs from tournaments and cities in which Radwanska won tournaments. The names of the apartments are Miami, Singapore, Wimbledon, Tokyo, Tianjin, Montreal, Sydney, Istanbul, Dubai and Beijing. In the apartments you can see Agnieszka's tennis dresses and her original tennis rackets, which she played at tournaments. Very good location of the apartments. Only 8 minutes from the Market Square in Krakow and 7 minutes to the train station. In the area, cafes, shops, restaurants, hotels, an old market with vegetables and fruits. Luxury apartments, well-equipped with the best equipment. The guest can use a free safe, air conditioning, fridge, dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, pay bar, as well as a free salt cave and a mini fitness room. Purely throughout the facility. Booked this place online after reading the excellent reviews and i have to say that they were fully justified. Its in a beautiful part of the city, the jewish quarter, and stands on a road containing plenty of bars and restaurants. No big flash frontage, just a doorway and a small ground floor reception area but once inside you cannot help to be charmed by its quaintness and quirkiness. Staff are polite, respectful and very helpful, providing maps and information about the city with a smile. Rooms are spotless clean and differ in size but all (we were a party of 6 couples) are adequate with modern bath/shower rooms. My partner booked a surprise 3 night trip to Krakow for my 30th Birthday as it is a place I have always wanted to visit and I have to say it definitely did not disappoint. The Metropolis Design Hotel was in such a perfect spot - out of the way of the hustle and bustle but only a short walk to the centre, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfy bed, amazing bathroom, there was a store nearby with all you would need however we had breakfast included and this was also delicious with plenty of variety. Our only complaint is that we were not there long enough to do all we wanted to - our main reason to visit was to attend Auschwitz, which is definitely recommended, but we would have loved to have had time to venture further afield as there was so much to do. We were also a week too early for the Christmas market, which was being set up and I would have loved to have seen. That said, we loved the country, area and hotel so much we will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. When you first arrive it is abit of messing about to get into the apartment, it has a keypad on the outside which you need to txt the owner of the apartments for the code. When you get through the door you are greeted by a grim hallway and stairs, at this point we thought what the hell have we done. Once we got in the apartment it was very clean and very modern, it just looks the same as the pictures advertised. Our room was situated at the back which was not on the main road, I can imagine it would be abit noisier on that side as there are cars and trams running but we had a nice quiet sleep both nights. The breakfast is in the cafe next door, you get a code sent through WhatsApp from the owner and you then use that in the cafe. it is very nice and cheap you get about £5 each to spend we ordered 2 salami bagels, 2 cakes, 2 orange juice and a coffee, we only had to pay about £1 extra. There is a good choice of bagels, sandwiches, cakes pastries all made fresh and very tasty. The main square is only 10 minutes walk Overall we enjoyed our visit and would defo return here

Location was great, not to far from old town, you can cut through the shopping centre and get lunch one the way there to old town or/and a meal on the way back. Ubur from the old town to the apartment was only 10-15zl (£2.05-£3.10) and an Ubur to the Airport was only 35zl (£7.19). There is also fuelling stations near by to get any late night goods (sweets, food, fruit, etc..) Due to recently staying in Croatia 10 days before I planned to visit Poland and forced to self-isolate back home, I had to change my dates, I had informed the property before visiting and contacted them while I was in Croatia. I had selected the "non-refund" option on booking, the apartment was not obligated to change my dates, but and they did - thank you. If you find yourself in a similar position, keep the property updated as and when you have it. I was staying for one week, first time visit. I asked if they could spare any laundry tablets for my clothes and they did (Ariel laundry tablets) - no extra charge. During the week the Internet connection was constantly dropping for upwards of 10 minutes before reconnecting. The WIFI was fine, this would be the service provider issue. Towards thee end of the week the service was fully restored. I won't leave a negative on this as they worked to restore the service. The last few days I was there, the connection was much faster and more stable.

Although at first the accommodation seemed to be in the middle of nowhere we quickly realised that it was actually about 10-15mins walking distance to all of the main restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit. The main square is about 12 mins away! The accommodation itself is pretty standard it is kept immaculately clean, there is full use of the kitchen, they provide towels and baggage storage free of charge and most of all the owners are the most wonderful friendly, helpful people. The owner's wife doesn't even speak English but she still used google translate to recommend good places for us to go! The owner himself was so accommodating and friendly, I really can't recommend the place enough! Would go back in the future!

We stayed at the Angel House B&B on a 3 night trip to Krakow. We were greeted at the airport by a really helpful driver who talked us through the history & best places to visit whilst staying in the city. We stopped at the hotels main office to collect our keys where we were met by Eliza who accompanied us to the Blich Street address where we were staying. At first we were a little apprehensive at staying in an apartment style hotel which was based on the third floor of a traditional residential apartment building with no on site reception. Once inside we were really impressed by the quaint quirkiness of the hotel. Our room was stylishly furnished with a compact but well equipped bathroom. As we were the only guests on the day we arrived we had a choice of rooms, - We chose room 2, which although looking out over a railway track was a great size, & we were not bothered by any train noise at all. Plentiful Breakfast was provided in the kitchen/dining area & tea, coffee & juice were available by self service any time of the day or night. Location of the B&B was perfect for accessing city centre, with just a short walk up hill to the main shopping area & access to the old town. If we had one critisism of the location it would be, - this hotel may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with walking difficulties, this is due to the fact that it is located on the third floor, there are no lifts so you need to carry your luggage up a lot of concrete steps. Other than this we loved the Angel B&B & would definitely stay there again. Eliza & all the staff associated with the hotel were lovely.

A typical Polish-style hotel, if it is not on the top of the building, it is hard to believe that the small door at the intersection of the street is the hotel entrance, which can be understood as a winter-proof design. The waiters are very handsome, warm and patient. The room is large, with a hot water bottle, good ventilation and ventilation, very comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast is exactly the same for two days. Bread, sausage, coffee, fruit, yogurt, etc. are very rich, convenient transportation, 10 minutes from the central square of Krakow, the other direction to the bus station is 6 or 7 minutes, there is a large on the way Shopping mall is convenient for shopping, very good once-in-store experience
