After traveling across from Mole Creek, we stopped here to view the Bay of Fires sights before traveling down to Marion Bay. The accommodation here was excellent with a large roomy bedroom, king Bed, great kitchen, large bathroom for just the 2 of us. Room was very clean. View from our wall to ceiling window of the room out across the low level bush (probably saltmarsh) to George river was relaxing and quiet. We had a small pond / lake just outside the room which had some ducks and other water birds enjoying the serenity also.

On the way from Wineglass Bay to Launceston, we chose this hotel to stay for one night. Just after waking up, we could go to Flaming Bay to check in. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Flaming Bay. The overall environment of this hotel is similar to that of a domestic Samsung guest house, but the facilities and hygiene inside are still OK. The aunt at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. I remember that breakfast is 10 Australian dollars per person, and you can choose different brunch sets, which taste good The only bad thing about the hotel is that because the location is a bit off, vodafone cannot receive the signal. My mobile phone is from the Optus operator, so out of the 4 people in the same group, only my mobile phone has the signal. WiFi is also useless. Our room is not well located, and WiFi is not received at all.

We stayed here for 3 nights over new years and loved the rooms. The bedrooms are small but beautifully appointed and the beds are comfortable. Kitchen and lounge is large and has everything you need The location is out on the edge of town but only a couple of minutes drive to the IGA so you can stock up on supplies. Great rooms to stay with a BBQ area and green grass plus a laundry and washing line We really enjoyed our stay here We did find the removal of rubbish sign very confusing as we had no idea where to put our rubbish

Bottom line: Stay well clear of this untrustworthy place. We booked via booking.com a ”queen room with sea view” at the Queechy Motel because of the many good reviews. When we arrived, the room we were given (room 25) had only a view of the car park. To see the water you had to come outside and stand in the car park. We raised this to the property manager who said firstly ”That's not the sea”. And then the outright shamelessly absurd ”It doesn’t say that you can see the sea from the room”. When we pressed the matter that we had clearly booked a room with a water view. He became very aggressive and accused us of being abusive. We had simply asked for what we had paid for as advertised. He stated that he had taken people to court ”for this” (for what they were promised and paid for but did not recieve?). He the said that he was calling the police. He did better. He went to his car and drove to the police station returning with four policemen in 2 cars. He told them that we were not welcome to stay. Since they had just been called, we did not want to stay. The police told us that we had to leave even though we have done nothing wrong. We asked for a refund as the owner refused to provide the room as advertised. The owner stated to all that he could not refund because booking.com were the agent. This was lie. When we contacted booking.com they stated that the motel initiates the payment. Following our request for a refund, they stated that the owner had refused. Even though the owner told us to leave their property and denied service. So this motel owner misrepresented the room and called the police, asking for us to be removed because we asked for what we had paid for. He then charged us for the room anyway and refused to refund. 288 dollars taken from us for nothing. But much much worse than the money is the feeling of being lied to and robbed. To anybody reading this we would suggest you stay as far away from this untrustworthy place as possible. We managed to get last minute accomodation at the Panorama St Helens hotel. Staff are helpful and the room is really nice with 180 degree sea views, a jacuzzi and a good price at the end.

A lovely, modern, waterside park, seems quite new and everything is in first class condition. We have an ensuite facility that is spacious and well appointed. There is an on-site restaurant/bar that is excellent for happy hour taking in the wonderful water views. It surely must be one of the best camp kitchens I have seen, as it has everything you need, fridges, freezers, elec hotplates, BBQ grill plates, microwaves and more. A lovely find for us and we wish we had longer to really enjoy the place better.

Feel the best hotel in the whole journey, the room is not big, but it is special enough, clean and convenient. There is a big bed and two bunk beds in the triple room. It should be prepared for families with many children from foreigners. It is a waste of three or four for China. There is a sofa bed for two people and three people. There is an electric blanket on the big bed. Although it is not necessary for the summer night at the seaside, it is enough enough. There are cooking facilities in the multi-person room, and the facilities in the common kitchen are also very complete. There are also tents without separate toilets in the camp. The public bathroom is very clean and convenient. There is a large white beach next to the camp. The scenery is very beautiful. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. The children spend a few hours there. The fathers rented the fishing rods and actually caught them. They will catch more from the bridge not far from the camp. . Another surprise is the starry sky at night, the Milky Way is clearly visible.

Positives were that it had a lovely beach view and on-site restaurant that served dinner. That is where any positives about this property ends! It is extremely outdated and felt unclean. We booked a family room and it had a queen bed with a set of bunks. It was incredibly cramped and was not suitable for a family of 4. The bathroom is small and old, hard to see if it was was clean with stains and aged marks and the bath/shower had an unhygienic shower curtain, which has no place in a hotel. The stairs to the second floor was outside and filthy. The lift was tiny and did not fit four of us with our luggage and felt like it was going to stop halfway. The hallway to rooms had carpet which was disgustingly filthy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Plenty of other lovely properties in the area.
