Though this hotel is a little dated, it was a great location in Olde Towne, reasonably priced with clean, comfortable accommodations. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant to talk with & went out of her way to help. A maintenance man (I believe his name was Tony) was called in to fix the safe in the room. He was there in 15 minutes and was so personable & nice to talk to. Would definitely stay here again.

This is great motel with wonderful caring staff. Whenever you saw the manager, he would ask if everything was okay. The room was very clean which is a credit to the domestic staff. The breakfast was a great selection, and was different each day. Only complaint we had was the smokers at the side entrance of the motel, which was near our room & you could hear them talking. A great motel, one that we would recommend & shall definitely stay at again when in Manassas.

Ive been staying at the Comfort Suites in Manassas, Va for quite a while now & I haven’t always had the best service but there’s about 4 employees that I absolutely love, Yackie , Khamra & Aurora. Excuse if my spelling if it’s not correct. But they have ALWAYS been good to me, they’ve helped me with any & everything. They always provide good conversation & on a bad day they definitely put a smile on my face. Also, the overnight employee Oscar has been good to me & made my stay wonderful. Please keep these employees. They’re great!

I was put up in this hotel for a month as part of being relocated for work. The staff was great at helping all of us in the hotel, and the get together's on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night were a wonderful chance to meet some of the other people in the hotel and be able to sample some good food and drinks. They made living out of suitcase waiting for all my stuff to be relocated as enjoyable as possible.

I had reservations for 15 days but left after the second night. The hotel was unbearable. I will echo other reviewers who said the hotel was dirty, and my experience matched theirs. Also, the review by the woman who liked the hotel because it was pet friendly should have been a warning because I saw a dried piece of dog crap on the carpet outside the elevator on the first floor after checking in. The room they gave me was on the 5th floor, which turned out to be the worst rooms. The 5th floor rooms were the smoking rooms of the hotel, and they have slapped no-smoking signs on the rooms but the stench remains. The rooms smell like a casino with the smell of cigarette smoke. Even worse was how dirty the room was. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses and hotels were doing extra cleaning to slow the spread of the virus. Not the Candlewood Suites hotel in Manassas. The room had some food scraps on the floor, which I had the bad luck of discovering when I stepped on it after taking my shoes off. The bed sheets and comforter had visible stains, which the hotel seems to ignore. There was dried toothpaste on the toilet tank lid, which was hard to miss unless the cleaning people just didn't bother to clean the bathroom. Of course, there was hair on the bathroom floors. The chairs in the room were worn and had tears on the arm rests. On the second day, I noticed blood stains the size of quarters on the bathroom cabinets, which explained the reddish smudges on the bathroom door that the hotel never bother to clean. If the hotel doesn't even clean blood stains in the rooms guests stay in, they're unlikely to be cleaning door handles, elevator buttons, or other often touched surfaces. This hotel is a good place to catch COVID-19 because it's filthy.

Chose this hotel because most of the reviews sited it as being very clean & price was just about as good as it gets that close to D.C. The room was very clean - except for the floor! It could use a good mopping once in a while, as the laminated wood flooring just collects the dirt in the grooves - feet were black when walked across the room. Would rather have had carpet - laminated flooring is hard on old feet after a day of walking in D.C.! Other than the floor - everything else seemed to be super clean. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and good shower. Lighting could be better and not very good selection of TV channels. WiFi was OK. Big, nice mini fridge, with a small freezer compartment. Nice little area outside of bathroom to hang clothes & with luggage rack. Lamps had receptacles where you could plug in and charge wireless devices. On several occasions during our stay - our key cards would not work & we had to make a trip down to the office to get them straightened out. Thought the breakfast was pretty good for this type hotel. Only two selections of cereal, but they did have egg patties, some days bacon & some days sausage, waffles, selection of muffins and pastries, juice, etc. The staff person for the breakfast area kept it well stocked and clean - always checking to see if area was running low on any item. Breakfast area never overly crowded when we were there - plenty of tables and chairs with big flat screen TV in area. Location pretty good, with close access to interstate, Manassas National Battlefield Park, and some decent restaurants. With a few improvements, this hotel would be a "very good" place to stay.
