The booking and check-in was very smooth. The lobby is impressive with a 24-hour front desk service. We checked in late in the night and were very impressed with the generously size 3 bedroom apartment with four full bathrooms. Our family of four became six after two nights and five for the next few days. In the last four days we were only four people in this huge apartment. All was going well until the day… Our grandson came back from London Zoo with face paint which we later decided to remove before he went to bed. We used one of the towels (wetting it) and got the paint out. Agreed that 1/20th of the towel was stained which is typical but having done that several times back home, we knew it needed just one wash for the colour to get off the towels. My husband got a call a few hours later on the apartment phone, from one of the reception staff by the name of Mr. Krzysztof, telling him that there was blood on the towel and it was ruined. Several points to make here- when you assume something or go on heresay you always give the other accused party a chance to respond. My husband told him it was face paint but Mr. Krzysztof stood his ground also ignoring the black paint that was with the red paint (spider man theme ). Secondly, he did not ask how the guest was if he had seen “so much blood”. He could not be bothered and said we had to compensate for the towel! I went downstairs a little while later and had a conversation with him in a stern tone but never raising my voice. He refused to believe me so I asked to speak with the manager. He called the manager and told him that I was screaming in the lobby. The second staff at the front desk is proof to the fact that I did not raise my voice. Viola! The manager voiced the same words as Mr. Krzysztof and said it was blood! All based on what was told to them by housekeeping who did not speak a word of English. I told him that this was a insignificant cost to the company if at all the towel was ruined and he said it was not as they were “a small company” and could not absorb the cost. I didn’t know that there were many meanings to the term “small company”. It also meant that you had to go to front desk to get extra sheets, you are given only seven towels as that is the number of maximum guests allowed in the apartment of that size and no more (they actually made me go and check how many towels and hand towels I had and report back to them so they could decide if I could have more) and also, all the toiletries are just a starter kit as per the manager. You have to then use your own and nothing is replenished. There was one day that two towels were not replaced in one of the bathrooms and they refused to believe me that the towels were not replaced. What is it with these towels! The conversation ended with me asking them to wash the towel and see the outcome. A wet towel came back to me a little while later, with tiny smears of red still on them. I washed it in the apartment , completely back to its sh

The rooms look brand new and we couldn’t stop saying how spotlessly clean everything was. We love that the room description clearly stated a king bed instead of a double bed. The staff were always friendly, kind, and helpful. We love that they have a bar/restaurant downstairs where we could end our day with a cold pint. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night and everything was delicious. We opted for the hotel breakfast one morning but not the others. The hotel offers a simple cold breakfast, which was fine, we just prefer a hot and hearty breakfast. The hotel location is walkable to shops and public transportation. We would absolutely stay here again!

I chose this hotel for my family vacation based on the Comfort Inn name. We have always enjoyed the quality of Comfort Inn hotels in our previous travels. This particular hotel does NOT live up to the Comfort Inn name. It didn't feel structurally sound nor safe. The floor felt like it was crumbling under our feet in certain areas of the room. It sounded like people walking above us were going to come through the ceiling. The carpet was filthy. We could not see out or open the window -- it appeared to be nailed shut and there was something hanging over it on the outside. Breakfast options were extremely limited. So disappointed! BTW, we stayed in room 101.

The Edison is as good as ever and of such quality. Hotels in London are too expensive, so I booked the cheapest room type. On the downside, there is no view from the window. This hotel has a great feeling, the entrance is very beautiful, but there are many bars around at night, it would be scary to walk on foot. The toiletries are still specially customized by le labo. In the morning, the downstairs smells like coffee, and when you come back at night, it smells like le labo the noir, which is very comfortable. The room is fully equipped, the toilet is fully surrounded by rain, and there is mineral water. The light switch is also very delicate.

This time I came to London and stayed at the Magnificent, the Fragmented Shangri-La, the Horse Guards and the Bulgari. The rooms in this 1,500-pound hotel had no highlights at all. I really felt like I was paying an IQ tax! Moreover, the air conditioner was very noisy, there was dust on the table, and even the pens had no refills. Several others have their own characteristics. Bulgari is not recommended.

Stayed here last night with my son, we were at the stadium for a concert. This place is literally a walk down the hill to the stadium so perfect location. I couldn’t fault it really, it is a pub with rooms above- not a fancy hotel. I feel other reviews are very unfair… We paid 1/4 of the price to other places at Wembley. Our room was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds. would definitely book again!

We had to leave very unexpectedly, but did find the hotel a little run down looking from the outside. We had arrived early and the room was ready, but we could only check in early for an extra charge which we declined, as we were going out anyway so just left our bags in the car. The room was supposed to be an executive room however, it was like any other room we had ever stayed in so don’t know what was executive about it. Tea tray was a bit stingy with 1 packet of biscuits between 2 of us (1 biscuit each). Only 4 milk cartons, but plenty of tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom had nice shower gel and lotion supplied with plenty of towels but, also had blue insulation tape on the radiator and the ceiling above the bath was peeling it all looked a little tired. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable, but definitely lacked that added luxury that I thought we had upgraded to with executive. Maybe that was my own fault not checking exactly what the difference was between normal and executive aside from the price. Sadly, our trip was cut short with an emergency, so we never got to stay overnight or sample the breakfast.

Some hiccups during checkin. We specified in our booking that we have 2 kids. We even stated their ages. When we arrived, they said booking is only made for 2 adults. I showed them everything I have to prove my booking. They said we used a 3rd party agent to book (ie trip.com). The agent made a mistake and we should talk to them. (What???? ) But they will do me a favour and do the talking… ?? (Doing me a favour like I did sth wromg??). In the end they upgrade us to a family suite, adding that it could be for 1 night only, they may require us to move and bla bla bla….. Yes you upgraded me but so what! Your staff’s attitude is the whole problem. I used a 3rd party agent, but it’s a company you approved of. When problems arise you blame it on customer?! I gave a 2/5 for service simply bcoz of the upgrade.

I lived in this hotel for the first time in the UK. The experience was very good at the time, the hotel is in a good location and cost-effective, so I thought I would choose to stay here afterwards. I wanted to book a room in advance for the second time this time, but chose a lot of dates without a room. Later only accessible rooms were available. Think about staying alive for two nights. Because one of them happens to be a New Year's Eve, it goes without saying that the price is not cost-effective. The room I gave was facing the street, and I didn't sleep well after a night of noisy. And this time the service attitude was very average. Retaining luggage is also reluctant. The front desk was also lazy. In short, I won't come next time. In the end, a penny is a penny, and a willingness to spend money on Mayfair's Marriott.

Lady on the desk I unfortunately can not remember her name, but she was an Italian woman, and she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great. Usually when I go to London I get a different hotel every time but I think from now on I will be breaking this trend.

Travelled to London for a course. Stayed one night. Comfy bed, great breakfast, convenient location, tidy and clean, quiet. Beatriz on reception was very nice. Air con was a bit weak but kicked in eventually. Door looked like it had been kicked in at some point and door frame damage still visible (room 108). Might be a bit worrying for some customers. I would stay again. It was good value for money. Felt light on staff. Like very few people trying to run quite a large hotel. All were polite and friendly.

Really good hotel with friendly staff and nice amenities! Everything looks nicely furnished and there were no issue with the cleanliness. Food was good too were decent variety. The only issues were the missing table as shown in the photos for Family Room and the hotel only use bathroom curtains instead of glass, which was weird aesthetically given how nicely furnished the rest of the room is. Everything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

Where to start...first impressions were not good at all. We stayed on Wednesday 11th November. We were locked out, despite staff knowing we would be arriving late (we arrived at 23:15). We tried for 15 minutes, in the pouring rain to get in, we called and called and called..no answer and then the door miraculously opened as if by magic. We got to reception to be greeted by the most miserable person we have ever met. No apology, no hello, no nothing just ”gotta reservation?”..as someone who runs a 4 star hotel this guy wouldn't have a job, how he (Asian, 5ft 10ish, black jumper) actually HAS a job I'll never know all I can think is nepotism. I realise we are in London, the land of no manners but we expected more from a 4 star hotel. Anyway, our room was ok, no toiletries, only 1 set of towels (Covid? Who knows), poor tv channels and a non working remote due to our 'Mr. Miserable' host we didn't want to complain incase we made him cry. Nice pillows in the room, I like firm pillows. Breakfast was nice considering and the server Faruk/Faruq was lovely. An asset and a saving grace to our trip, helpful, friendly, welcoming, couldn't do enough for us maybe he could train Mr. Miserable in how to be nice. Our check out was smooth our receptionist asked how our stay was honestly we couldn't be bothered to tell her about our check in and bet she wouldn't have done anything anyway. All in all we wouldn't stay in a holiday Inn again, we have had better service in an Ibis.

Just an average hotel convenient for the area. Closed for 3 months from 1st November 2020. A few problems with the room but can be put down to the closure of the hotel for a few months. Double check when booking about breakfast being included in your rate and be aware it is a simple boxed 'continental' breakfast; Parking, though advertised is not free - from £10 per night, again check when booking and spaces are limited. At weekends, on street, free parking is available. if you need t be in this area and just need a place to rest your head, this hotel would do.

What a great find in the heart of Twickenham next to the river Thames and walking distance to shops and restaurants, and also discovering that there's over 30 of the same type as part of the pub group. Unlike many of the larger sterile hotels, this pub/hotel had a homely look and feel, and the atmosphere and restaurant and bar was just what you'd find if it were your local pub. The room was fantastically supplied with a fridge, with snacks and alcohol, satellite TV, big comfy beds, great modern shower. Having stayed in over 175 rooms this year alone on business, the Alexander Pope ranks up there in my top 5 and the price was excellent. will definitely stay again when in the area

I have spent 40 years traveling the world and I have stayed in the smallest hotels that Japan has to offer including capsule hotels. Hotel Mimi beats them all - the room I stayed in was small, really small with no window. But it was great! - I knew what I was letting myself in for but I knew all I wanted was a comfortable bed and somewhere to wash and the room excelled at both of these things. Beautiful marble bathroom with Molton Brown soaps and shampoos. Now, if you ask if it was worth the nearly £200 I paid the answer is no - but this is London and thats what you have to pay. Stay at Mimi's - but make sure you know what you could experience.

I stay with the IHG group every week and one hotel stay rolls into another. However tonight's stay deserves a positive review thanks to young man on reception called Joshua. I arrived at the hotel extremely early, just after 14:00 and understandly my room was not yet ready. Joshua gave me a drinks voucher and set me up in the downstairs bar / restaurant. It's comfy and quiet down there and I was able to get on with some work. Once my room was ready I discovered that I had been upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Then later in the evening Joshua was kind enough to bring me up a fan along with a key that allowed him to open the windows. So often you're just another number, but not tonight.
