I stayed here for four nights on a work trip. It’s a cute little hotel in a charming neighbourhood but a bit dated. The metro station is literally one minute away and there are lots of patisseries, cheese and specialty food shops, brasseries and a supermarket around the corner. The reception staff was incredibly friendly and is there 24/7. My room was rather small but cosy, in old-school Parisian design (red leather chair, rose bathroom, plush dark red curtains...), with a big French window out on the street, a desk and a small closet. They have black out curtains and the noise from the street wasn’t bad at all. There’s a water kettle but no fridge in the room. Bed was comfy, bathroom functional with a bathtub shower but no curtain. The main issues for me were that a) the internet was terrible, at one point it didn’t work at all and it disconnected all the time, b) the blow dryer (fixed to the wall and seemingly a model from the 50ies) was super weak and cold 3) there were not enough sockets and one of them didn’t work and 4) it wasn’t possible to print a larger document at the reception and there were no copy shops closeby. You can also hear every noise from the adjacent rooms and the lift. That said, the staff were really super helpful - brought a better blow dryer, tried to fix the internet and gave directions to copy shops. All in all, if you’re travelling for work it might not be the best option but for a holiday it’s a nice base.

My First visit to the new Philippe Starck hotel in the 16th arrondissement of Paris took my breath away and gives me yet another reason to head back next year. With just 59 rooms and suites, the hotel feels quite intimate. Compared to other parts of Paris, the 16th tends to be quiet and residential. It's a bit unexpected that this fashionable hotel popped up in a somewhat staid neighborhood. Let me assure you, there is nothing stuffy or stale about this new hotel. In partnership with Evok, Stark has created a space that is a haven for artists, businessfolks and tourists. It's a foodie paradise and the aesthetics make me swoon. Plus, there's the location, the Brach is a few minutes' walk from the closest metro station, and nearby both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. From the designer Phillipe Stark: "Anyone can build a building that protects people from heat, sun and cold. What I am determined to do is to make a stage where people can be sexier and more brilliant, a place where they can awake smarter." Philippe Starck is known for his quirky, cool partnerships. From furniture to flip flops he's known for bringing playful, joyous design to both spaces and things. Stark got a ton of public attention in 1983 when President Mitterrand picked him to renovate the Elysées Palace. From there, he's gone on to develop a number of restaurants and hotels. This latest adventure has turned a sleepy Parisian street into a vibrant artists hub. The hotel is a celebration of connections. It's full of spaces that draw the guests out of the their rooms into common areas. While the rooms are full of charm thanks to layers of art collected from Africa, Asia and Brazil, they pale in comparison with the lounges, gym and terraces. Service is a big part of the luxury hotel experience. The stay was in a word, gorgeous. Clearly looks count when the Brach hires. And it should be noted, there is always a trade off in efficiency when a hotel hires with such limiting requirements. To be fair, the staff was friendly, but there was no crispness to the service. Our favorite staff were the friendly bellman who helped us get cars to the airport. For more details check out our post on the Momtrends (dot) com website

it was like a movie set, the building. the entire feel, as we entered, the reception was so casual and relax. lady cleaning , some guests were leaving. it felt you walked into a home, a friend s house. the host is just so friendly and cool you think you must have known her from somewhere. the room was spotless, tastefully decorated. the location was perfect. the area everything. the living room and the stair case leading to the roof top . and yes the roof top ..stunning. and breakfast was fresh and perfect. I think our paris short visit would have not felt so magical if we had not stayed in this b&b. and I think I will not stay anywhere else if I ever go back to paris. thank you

Traveling solo, I wanted a secure facility that was in a well traveled area. I loved the location and price. I literally was able to walk in a direct line down one street to Eiffel Tower! And there is a restaurant attached and nearby shops for groceries, wine, bread, coffee, etc. I loved my little single room. It looked out on the street which I lvoed. Some people may find it too loud late at night or early in the morning but I didn't have an issue. I liked having the sounds. It does not have a 24 hour desk or regular desk hours that I could tell but the hotel was secure and I was able to get what I needed from staff.

The second stay, the location is very good, the surrounding restaurants and supermarkets are very convenient, the price of the prime location of the Passy Tower is generally good. I am very satisfied for the first time. On the 0th floor, there is a small built-in garden to rest. The black Madama reception is very warm. This time on the fourth floor, the mattress was a bit collapsed in the middle. I want to change to another one.

We arrived late on a Friday night only to discover that the water had been cut for the building. Although I appreciate this is not the hotel's fault, simple measures to ensure our stay was a pleasant one could have been implemented, such as leaving some large bottles of water in the room for each guest, getting in touch with guests in advance to apologies and warn you that you may need to bring extra water. Instead, after a long trip through public transport, we were faced with no water to wash our hands which is a basic level of hygiene you expect when booking a hotel. We were only able to flush the toilet once which is again not very hygienic. We complained to the night watchman and he had no solution to offer. He did show us a drinks cabinet from which we took two small cans of Perrier, and we were asked to sign for these so they could be added to our bill. The next morning, I asked for a discount to account for our inconvenience and he called a director who wasn't interested in our welfare or providing us with any assistance. We did get the two cans of Perrier for free but it's an insult to have had to ask for that. I have written to complain and no one has responded with an apology. If you're thinking of staying here then have it in the back of your mind that if something goes slightly wrong, you will get no assistance. Otherwise, the hotel was basic, clean and well located. I just feel that a hotel should take small steps to ensure the welfare of its guests.

Booked with my sister as part of a Christmas present for my mother as we are so glad we chose this hotel, it was beautifully furnished and cosy, we all loved it! We stayed in room 105 which had a nice view of the street and Radio France, but the noise cancelling windows meant it was lovely and peaceful. Down the street were a range of beautiful restaurants, such as Dacoro 16 and Les Ondes, which were fabulous. Walkable distance from both the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph, around 20 minutes or so, top of the tower could bee seen from our room too. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent. 24 hour reception was perfect for us due to our early flight back to Dublin. Would love to go back!

Excellent hotel, outstanding staff, wonderful stay. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about the hotel and staff. The room was elaborately done, and made our stay extremely comfortable while we popped in and out and around Paris. Highly recommend to stay here. minutes walk away from the Eiffel tower.

The location was perfect, near with Jasmin Metro Station. Old but well-managed. Room was comfortable with fully equipped kitchen tools. Sofa bed was provided in living area. Toiletries (Shampoo and Bath Soap) provided 1 time during your visit. Please consider if you need elevator, because they don't provide it. The elevator especially for special suite room. Other than that, using stairs. However, overall was good

The good point is that the staff is very nice and the rooms are clean. However, do not expect to have comfort. The first night I could barely sleep as the heating was extremely noisy. Plus the shower was not working properly (you have to hold it as it was not possible to attach it to the wall as it was broken. In the next day I complained and I got another room which was ok in terms if noisy but same problem with the shower. I do not recommend it.

We arrived by train in Paris, Gare de Lyon and took the Metro to the Hotel. It takes approximately 30 Minutes with one change. You reach the Hotel from the Metro station in about 5 Minutes by foot. Tip: Buy a Metro “Billet-Carnet” with 10 single trips at the station. A single Metro ride costs you about EUR 1.50. The reception is small, staffed with friendly and helpful people though. “Small” meets you everywhere in the Garvani: The breakfast room, stairs, lift, room, toilet anything is kind of “small”. As we are not the tallest and for 2-3 days only traveled with one big luggage it was fine for us. A tall person might not feel comfortable to do “the business.” as the restroom is relatively narrow. And speaking about business: The walls are everything else then soundproof, so you might witness noises of “other businesses” too. The room is proper, kind of cozy, great bed, pillows, blankets, towels, Mini Bar & safe basically all you need is available. And what is always important to me: A shower with really HOT water! Maybe interesting for travellers with families our room had a door to the next room. The breakfast is basic, basic, the coffee tastes good. If you have special wishes (omelette or so) ask the staff, they will cook-it for you. The best thought is the proximity to the Trocadero and Eiffel Tower: To have a last glimpse to the illuminated tower before you go to bed is priceless. Tip: You will find common shops like Zara, Kooples, UNIQLO, Benetton and much more in rue the Passy, the main street the Hotel is located. It is less crowded, and easy to carry home your new treasures.

We stayed in Paris for 4 nights - the first 2 in Disneyland Hotel for the children (and us too being honest), then over to central Paris for 2 city nights. We were looking forward to the Square, having booked one of the best rooms. The area the hotel was in wasn’t very pretty but can live with that. The entrance to the hotel was small and the reception very small and quiet. We noticed how hot it was but thought nothing of it initially. On getting to the room it felt so hot - the a/c was apparently on max but we couldn’t see anywhere it could possibly be coming out and no noise. Thermometer on the wall was 29.2 Celsius. The same man came back to check (he seemed to be doing concierge luggage and maintenance) fiddled with the controls and nothing happened over 30 mins. Temperature was now rising. Shown another room and just as hot. After 1.5 hours decided we couldn’t stay and went to another hotel despite travelling with 2 autistic children (it takes a lot to suddenly change in those circumstances). Such a disappointment as the room was lovely in terms of size and decor. However we are sure there isn’t actually any air conditioning and were very surprised how few people were working. 1 receptionist and 1 person doing everything else isn’t ok for a supposed 5* Hotel.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!

Front staff speaks good English and when I had small problem in the room the reception staff fixed it swiftly and changed my room. The maintenance man who helped fixing was also super helpful and friendly. Thanks very much !
