OVERALL STAY: The staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Close to a lot of attractions. Only two issues the rooms: rooms are NOT very clean and COVID-19 precautions. ROOMS: The first room assigned looked as if no one had cleaned. The second room looked as if the bed was made, fridge clean, and bathroom was SPOT checked. The floor nasty. Didn't even take my socks off the entire stay. Shower, disgusting. I refused to shower there (thank goodness my house is an hour away). The safe was filled with trash. COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: With Covid they should take better cleaning measures to ensure the risk of spreading is cut. Even some staff members didn't wear masks, despite the multiple signs stating it was a requirement to enter the establishment. If guests are expected to follow this rule, staff members should also. I personally wouldn't not recommend but if you have no other choice at least you are ensured a bed.

I first want to say it got a 2/5 because the staff tried their best to make my stay decent but it still doesn't excuse the terrible state of things. First of all, the walls are PAPER THIN. You can hear conversations in the other room. I was kept up all night due to their incredibly loud heating system. When running it, it sounds like car engine revving up. When it's being run by the room next to mine, it sounded like a jet engine. The automated heat system would run for 20-30 minutes every 30 minutes and it would vibrate the entire room. It made it absolutely impossible for me to get any sleep. I asked the staff if I could relocate but the hotel had no vacancies. Even worse, there was another guest in the other room who arrived around midnight and started blasting music at full volume. I made a noise complaint and the staff told him to quiet down. Unfortunately he went back to blasting music an hour later. When the staff came back, he started banging on my door and threatened me before leaving for the rest of the night. And just as an extra "screw you" to me, he turned on his alarm clock to 5am. I learned the hard way these alarm clocks do not turn off on their own and I had to get staff to come shut it off. The staff was nice enough to let me check out 2 hours later because of this but honestly I should have been given a full refund for this godawful stay. Oh, and the bathroom was barely cleaned. I had to deep scrub off several stains on the toilet seat.

The service was very poor. He said that he had to change a house with a window. The front desk had a fake look for a long time, saying no, but he didn’t even look at it. I said no matter what, I put the key here, waiting for a house to call me. As a result, he is too troublesome. Look closely, saying that the house in the north has windows. I asked if the window in the north is not a window. I got the key to see the house, and there was a door open next to the door, and no one lived in the window. And a few steps away, a bunch of tramps on the ground, the temperature is still lying on the ground.

Obviously pre-paid room charges, the old beautiful hotel is a bit bad to brush consumption as soon as it arrives, no refund will be made immediately after leaving the shop, you have to bill her server said that it will send E-mail. Any hotel did not give me anyway Send an e-mail. When will there be a refund? I don't know! Let's go back to the country and talk about it, often inexplicably and deducted in the middle of the night! Lao Mei loves fast food and fast food. The waiter keeps knocking on the door before the check-out time to give you hygiene! I think it's urging to leave quickly, don't rely on waking up! I travel a lot and this hotel has one of the best customer service I have ever encountered for a small hotel. The entire staff is extremely accommodating and they will go above and beyond to make you comfortable. The property is ok, very clean and even though it is in Chinatown it was not noisy as one would expect. The room was very clean, housekeeping came daily and it was very quiet. Bed was great. And the location is unbeatable. I was there for the Philly marathon and was close to convention center and a short 10 minute run from the race's start and finish line. I feel this is a great option for the price and hope to visit again next year. No complaints at all !!!!

A hotel of a very good standard. I got my room in the morning, great and incomprehensible above it. I booked a King Suite and got a very large and spacious room with quality furniture, a large bed with a mattress and very comfortable pillows, a coffee and tea maker and a microwave and fridge. There were 2 TVs in the room and there was a variety of channels to watch while resting from the city tour. Relatively clean and modern bathroom and there was a bathroom which is nice, The downside was that the drain was pretty clogged and the water barely went down and the curtain was made of fabric. The breakfast was American and not varied but that was enough for me, the waiters were great and the view from the dining room on the 10th floor was nice. The entrance to the hotel from the street is not pleasant because it is located under the building and there is an entrance and exit from the parking lot right next door. The big advantage of this hotel is the location which is very close to the food market, public transport and walking distance to the city center.

The stay was a bit tortuous. First of all, I didn't have my reservation information at the front desk after I arrived at the hotel. I contacted Ctrip butler and fortunately helped me to call to solve the problem. Secondly, when I arrived at the room, I found that the room type was inconsistent with my booking, and communicated with the Ctrip housekeeper for a long time, indicating that I booked a suite but the hotel gave me a one-room room, and finally said that I would make up the difference. It's really not easy to think about it. Ctrip's overseas hotels are obviously shortcomings. Many problems have been encountered in booking Ctrip's overseas hotels for so many years. Besides this hotel, the location is very good, it is close to the bus station, and there is a big market across from it. I booked breakfast at the hotel, but I didn't know it was over at 9:30, so I didn't have it late. Overall pretty good.

Beautiful property in an excellent location right next door to the Convention Center! The front desk staff is very polite and helpful - they make a great first impression of the experience to be expected there. Apparently there were some computer issues this past weekend that slowed down the check in process a bit, but the ladies at the desk were wonderful and handled it with grace. Our room in 1613 was very comfortable and very clean. The bed was a bit hard for our taste but it was still a good bed. Our view was spectacular and I was even able to catch a great sunrise. Our daughter and granddaughter were in Rm 1313 which was also nice and roomy, even with two beds. There is a nice bar in the lobby and even a pool table and chess board. We ordered food theough UberEats a couple of times and had a nice selection of nearby restaur to choose from that enabled us to have fast delivery. We will definitely return to the Aloft when visiting Philly again.

We worked with Le Meridien (Audrey specifically) for our wedding room block. We used a meeting room for the bridesmaids getting ready and had a suite for the groomsmen. Everyone there was so kind from us dropping off a carload worth of stuff, orchestrating the welcome bags, having a welcome party, buses arriving for pick-up and drop off, etc. Our photographer raved about the lighting in both the suite and getting ready room on the lobby level! The views from both of City Hall could not have been beat. Audrey herself was a saint to work with and took care of our every need. The people at the front desk constantly went above and beyond from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. We had about 45 rooms total booked there and every guest commented on how excellent their stay was. The hotel was VERY busy that weekend with a volleyball tournament in town but we still felt very doted on and accommodated despite their business. The bartender was also so wonderful. It was just him serving our welcome party of about 80 people and he was so kind, happy and efficient. He even asked us what time the wedding ended because he was going to go home early Saturday but wanted to be there when we got back to keep the party going and he did stay and serve all our guests after the wedding! Can't recommend using this hotel enough for wedding blocks and wedding prep!

I do n’t know how the breakfast is. Insufficient in the United States does not store luggage, let Ctrip help coordinate unsuccessful, can only take large luggage to take the bus

We have stayed in numerous Westins previously and we were looking forward to this in the heart of Philadelphia. It’s easy to find on a 1 way street and next to a mall with good shopping available. Checkin was quick and painless and smooth. The decor in the lobby looks new and bright. One of the reasons we went to the Westin was the reviews that rooms had recently been upgraded….. Our rooms on the 6th floor were not upgraded recently. The room was well furnished and relatively clean. The bathroom could have been a little bit better.. the marble around the commode was stained. The overflow holes in the sink, which you can see in the mirror reflection were pretty disgusting. You should get a bottle of bleach to spray in them and really scrub them with a brush… The breakfast on offer was good all round and we all enjoyed it and started a day full of walking. The hotel is well placed and looks okay. I am sure some folks will say that my negatives don’t mean much, but for a chain like Westin, who try hard to retain a good customer base, these little quirks make a difference. Just a little bit more attention to detail will make a huge difference. Would I stay here again? Yes I would.

Hotel location is very good, the entrance is the subway entrance, the bus stop is no more than 100 meters, supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants are very convenient, are 10 minutes walk from the city hall, the Independence Palace can pass the bus. The room is quite large, the double bed is a 1.35-meter bed, can sleep 2 people, a family of three live, with four 28-inch large boxes for children to start school, no problem. I was worried that Hilton’s second-tier hotel would not be in place for health services. The renovation time of the hotel was quite long, but the facilities were well maintained.

We came from Wisconsin for the Brewers games against the Phillies with my in-laws. After a long drive, we were excited to arrive, but as we drove into the area it's a bit strange. There's nothing really near by and trash everywhere. I'll give them a little bit of a break as it was early Spring, but the seedy people outside didn't help either. We got into our room and initially we thought it looked nice, but after looking around, I was wondering if we were being punked. The bathroom looked nice, except for the askew vanity that looked like if you touched it, it would fall. Then add the fact you couldn't close the door all the way without it scratching on the marble piece underneath and making the most AWFUL noise. I seriously questioned for a minute if I would catch something from the couch it was so gross and filthy. While we were in my in-laws room I looked and said to my husband, "is their mattress thicker?" Sure enough, by 2.5" inches. Our mattress was old, you could feel the springs. And then there were the breakfasts. I'll just give you the worst, chunky milk. Between the nastiness, the crap mattress, the breakfasts and the people toking up down the hall, we actually considered moving hotels and asking for a full refund.

Had a cancelled flight at LGA and had to come to PHL to get out at an early enough time. This was not my first choice but i got rebooked, but was pleased. Front desk person was super nice and helpful. Parking is easy but sometimes you have to move the cones yourself. Rooms are large and quiet. Bed comfy. The cleaning of the shower was a little iffy but overall the room was quite impressive for what it was. Area doesn’t seem to have much around but maybe I just didn’t look.

Sonesta Philadelphia We stayed here for a week in December and was our first international trip since the Pandemic started. This hotel had so many Pros sprinkled with some terrible cons! The Pro’s location…literally a couple of minutes stroll to town hall which when we went had a lovely Christmas market going on, also near the shopping areas and on the big bus tour stops! We checked in at night time it was around 9pm, the guy who checked us in didn’t set the world on fire with his warmth, in fact he was miserable! We went up to our room, the public areas are decorated to a nice standard all looked very clean and modern and lovely decorations for the holidays. We entered the room which was a lovely size, we had a standard room size. The first thing is the bed…its HUGE! The bed was also quite possible one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in…only issue is the frame!!! It had some quite odd wooden frame which jetted out and didn’t leave much room when walking past the bed. Sadly a few times I caught my leg on the hard wooden frame and gained a fair few nasty bruises. I don’t know what the answer is maybe for the hotel to cover these with some foam or protection or something. I imagine young children would really injure themselves or if you were on anti-coagulants. The bathroom was a standard size with a toilet, sink, bath/shower combo. The next morning I woke up early due to jet lag so thought I’d crack on and have a shower….Awful. What started off as just your routine shower soon became an acoustic nightmare. I thought the shower was going to fall through to the floor below or blow up. The most God-awful noise…sadly this happened every time we used it, so no doubt the floor new when we were showering. The TV was nice size with normal selection of TV channels including HLN. Storage was also sufficient. Lighting was limited although I find this a common issue in USA hotels. Now…I emailed the hotel before I left the UK to enquire if there was a kettle. The advised me there was no kettle but a coffee machine that could be used without a coffee pod so it would simply be boiling water like a kettle. I purchased English breakfast teabags, milk and sugar excited for my traditional English cup of rosy lee. I went to use the coffee machine and it was grim. It looked like it had never been cleaned. Needless to say, no tea for me. When we got to the room, I also noticed there were crumbs in the bedside drawer so I really wasn’t convinced about how thorough the room cleaning was. This moves me on to room cleaning. I like my room cleaned daily. The hotel advised us that due to Covid they weren’t offering daily cleaning and if you wanted the room cleaned you had to give 24 hours’ notice. We told reception we wanted the room cleaned daily so can it just be marked that we’re giving notice for each day! Eventually they agreed and marked for the room to be cleaned. Two days this failed, one day we came home to find it not cleaned we went and spoke

I made my reservation by calling the hotel’s designated phone number. Selected the prompt for reservations. I made a reservation for 2 ADJOINING rooms. I waited on the line for over an hour to ensure I could get adjoining rooms. The customer service representative guaranteed me the reservation were correct. Fast forward three weeks later we arrive and the reservation is WRONG! They cant accommodate my request so now my family is forced to separate. The room was old and way too small. This caused alot of undue stress for us. First and last time using Wyndham. Only chose this hotel because of the location. If you have a special request… RUN! They wont honor it. The rooms are too expensive to put up with this! Note: The parking is $36/day.

We stayed in the Homewood Suites City Ave when we attended Accepted Student Day at SJU. The hotel was in the perfect location for our needs. The room was roomy and well appointed. There were enough places for the three of us to charge all of our devices. The TV was in an odd place and could not be seen by the person on the couch, but other than that, the room was great. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The front desk staff were all very kind and personable. We went out a few times and they quickly validated the parking ticket for us. The breakfast was sufficient- there were scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereals, breads, and a bowl of apples. The food was tasty and there was an attendant making sure that the area was clean. We would definitely come back and stay here the next time we come to SJU.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, that was a huge part of why the rating wasn't somewhat lower for this stay. One night, we ordered pizza for our team but the lobby was full, so they let us use an empty banquet hall, which was definitely above and beyond. The location is also great, as it was just a short walk from most of the touristy things we wanted to do, and we could walk to the Convention Center in less than 30 minutes, which was fine. The lower score comes from the room itself. Noise was a significant problem, to the point that it was hard to sleep, and for an athlete that had to compete in an early morning competition, that is something to consider for future visits. Inside the room, the air conditioning was very noise, actually sounding like it had a popcorn popper inside it. Our room was on the highway side, and the noise of cars racing on the road at night was extremely loud. There was also a wedding on Saturday night, and even though it was three floors below, it sounded like we were in the room with them. Others from our group who stayed on the other side of the hotel said that the noise from the bar kept them up, so complaining about the placement of the room didn't appear to make a difference, which is why we didn't. We also had to prompt multiple times every day to get towels, which was a bit annoying. On the day of our check-out, I had to go down to the desk to ask again, which made a hectic morning a little crazier. I might consider staying again if it was for the tourist attractions, but for a tournament, I think the inability to get a good night's sleep would drive me to another location.

Let me say it again - this is the second perfect stay I have had in over 10 years with Marriott; the only other one being the Delta in Toronto. In both cases what made it perfect was not the Room. Not the Food. Not the Drinks. Not the location. It's the Staff. If you decide stay here get ready for your expectations to be exceeded. Just to echo many sentiments before this review. The staff here is infinitely exceptional. I have to say the check in is actually the main thing that stood out the most. I really wish I remember her name but I imagine it was Tracey based on all other reviews. Not only was she extremely friendly, attentive, recognized my status but she took extreme care to train a staff member as well. It was literally the most thoughtful check in I have ever seen. I cannot sing her praises loud enough. Amy who took care of me at breakfast every morning was an absolutely lovely person. She bounced btw my to go order, seating people and serving the tables in a truly seamless manner. Top Marks. Tim who was my server on Wednesday and Thursday was a stand up dude. Might be imagining this but I am pretty sure Tim actively checked on people if they needed a drink repeatedly in the order they appeared at the bar. He actively made sure my friend and I didn't have empty glasses. I rarely do over 20% but he was working his butt off that night because it was pretty packed in there and he was by himself. The only time I ever felt this was at the Delta Toronto where the aura and vibe of the staff strongly resonated that they really loved what they were doing. It's hard to describe but it really emanates to the guests as many others can attest to. I come to Philly a lot so I try new hotels every time. While the Westin was my favorite I think Renaissance just booted them out of the number one slot. I'll definitely be back. Oh and the location is perfect as well. Don't want to forget that. Thanks so much for a great stay in Philly - I really appreciate it.

Due to the epidemic and other reasons, the hotel reservation has been modified three times. Since it is a free cancellation before the deadline of the reservation, the refund of the Ctrip credit card is fast for each cancellation. Need a thumbs up! 🍃Environment:

The hotel is not bad, check in and check out are met with a special nice front desk, Xavier, must mention it. The location is very good, on the edge of the downtown area, it is very convenient to go shopping and drinking. It is not far from walking to the Barnes Foundation Museum. Of course, a little more is the Art Palace and the Rodin Sculpture Museum. There is a Chinese restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which is better than the chain fast food. The Chinese stomach is OK. The rooms are large with kitchen, free coffee and mineral water, and the kitchen is stocked with a small bottle of detergent. There is a cloakroom, not a cabinet, a big box spread out no problem. The interior of the room is relatively dull, the hotel is very old, but the competition is spacious and the experience is quite good.

This hotel is very good value. Location is very central, next to the business center area, shopping and eating are convenient. Facilities in the hotel are also very good, there are free water purifiers that can be used at will. The rooms are not spacious but not overcrowded. The only problem with the toilet design in the room is almost meaning. . .

This was my first time staying in a hostel. I joined Hostelling International (HI) in order to get access to other hostels. Because I am disabled, I needed to ensure that I would not need to “climb” into, or off a bed; Marc was kind enough to ensure that I would have a bottom bunk before my arrival. Check-in was a breeze; I displayed my HI card, my driver’s license (for address confirmation), and verbally gave the receptionist my name. Immediately, I visited the room, and looked for the hallway showers, and the bathroom (separate rooms). A sign was placed on the bed, confirming which one would be my place to sleep. Access to Wifi was very easy, the kitchen was extremely clean (professionally done each night), and the bathroom/showers were clean. Friendly people, from several countries were staying there, so there was an international vibe in this hostel. My undeserved, negative feelings about hostels was erased. Apple Hostels-Philadelphia is just as good, if not better, than many mainstream hotel chains. I’ll stay here again, in a heartbeat. Guests can prepare food in the kitchen, or visit a nearby café, or a full service restaurant, all were with a 5-minute walk from the hostel. I’ll add that Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell were about a 3-minute walk from the hostel. Warning: If wheelchair bound, the entrance does not have a ramp; I’d advise solo travelers, in wheelchairs, to arrive with assistance; if without, you may still get the needed assistance to enter, exit, or move around in this hostel.

The hotel room was so comfortable, clean, stylish and quiet. I had no issues at all, and the front desk was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again, without a doubt. The bathroom was also clean & had all the amenities I needed. The only weird thing I noticed was the bedding - they used a top sheet on top of the mattress, not a bottom sheet. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

I was unimpressed and underwhelmed. To me, what denotes a five star stay is the details and our room just felt very outdated and dilapidated. We had a cabinet that was broken with a door skewed and ajar, the clock wasn't set to the correct time, the iron had rusted spots. Though we had a double room, there was one mediocre robe and the same toilet paper you might find in a gas station bathroom. The lobby was beautiful and I enjoyed the drinks we ordered in the hotel restaurant. However, I also ordered the Bone In Filet Mignon and felt it was a waste. TBH- I have had better steaks for half the price at chain restaurants and this one was nothing to write home about. I just didn't feel the quality was where it needed to be for the price point. We had additional friends joining us and asked if we could move to the couch (this was at like 4:30 so the restaurant was still empty) and were told it was only for large parties. However, throughout the night we saw multiple parties the same size as ours, get seated there which we found interesting... We got room service the following morning and it was adequate, but not exceptional. There was no one there to open the doors or help us bring our bags in. We kept joking that we must be staying at a Ritz-Carlton Outlet Store the whole time. If you're looking for a five star experience, I would advise you to look elsewhere.
