Picked hotel based on location to the arena, but taxi ride through the neighborhood and then up to the front made me very uncomfortable because the area is rough. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, the decor, and the demeanor of the staff. Someone was being trained to check us in, and I appreciated how the manager (owner?) was patient with her while also making sure we didn't wait too long. Room had good wifi connection, cable TV with actual movies, fridge, and microwave. Front desk staff (owner?) came up to personally check if we were satisfied with our room. That was a first! Maid service was punctual and thorough, so leave her a nice tip. The hotel breakfast was better than expected--choice of meat, biscuits & gravy, eggs, waffles, etc. Very quiet in spite of being next to the freeway.

I stopped off here without expecting much from the pictures but was blown away by the place In person. So much attention to detail went into this amazing bed and breakfast. Maria was so hospitable, she even gave us a better room on the very top floor as it was free. The breakfast was amazing and Maria was lots of fun to talk too. Really nice to meet a done to earth person in these crazy times. Would highly recommend this place. Everything was better than expected.

This hotel is really cool. The lobby and common areas were so unique and interesting - lots of space for gathering and fun times - they have a pool table, a really cool bar and lots of couches and seating near a cafe w/ snacks - all in a huge open area with unique and fun decor. Shame COVID restrictions are causing it all to go to waste for the time being cause I bet it would be a really fun place during "normal" times. The rooms were really nice too and the bed comfortable. Extremely clean. This will definitely be my first choice hotel to stay at if my daughter chooses UC and I visit her...

There is a supermarket not far from the door, walking is easy, taxi is also very convenient. I took my child to the university for an interview and stayed for ten days. I will stay here next time.

We were staying here this past weekend for our niece's wedding. Very nice rooms, very clean and friendly staff. Unfortunately the rooms do not have microwaves, only the one in the lobby market. Due to covid, they did not do housekeeping in our rooms during our stay, which was fine. Unfortunately, the pool was closed also due to covid. Wish they had a regular restaurant in the lobby instead of the fancy Starbucks place... that never seemed to be open and only had high end food. The mobile check in was awesome and quick, we just had to stop at front desk to get our room keys. Checkout was via email and we just dropped the keys at front desk. Staff was very helpful when we ordered from door dash and the pizza place didn't include plates or napkins. They were able to get us some from the Starbucks place. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

My family stays here A LOT. We visit family several times a year and this is our hotel of choice because of the fridge/kitchenette and suite-like rooms that allow us to have kids asleep in one room and we can be awake in the other. Yes, the valet-only is annoying but they are quick so just call ahead to have the car ready and have a lot of singles on you - the front desk is always nice about cashing bills for us. ONE THING I will say is do not book elsewhere and expect to get a request honored. I fell for the AMEX Platinum offer to book for 5x's points one time and when I checked in I was a stranger to them - no proof on their end that I'd booked a corner room and no urgency to put me in one. Turns out AMEX actually uses another site like Expedia to do the booking. That was a bad stay but I learned to only book direct at this property and haven't had an issue since. Every other stay has gone very smoothly, we often get our requested room/floor and the staff is always incredibly nice. It's a great location with tons of restaurants in walking distance, like the Seasons 52 across the street, and there's a Whole Foods right around the corner. The pool and gym look great but I've never had the opportunity to use either!

I recently stayed at this location to visit my adult children who live nearby. I was concerned because of the current pandemic. The young lady who greeting me upon check-in the evening of 11/24, was warm and friendly and answered all of my questions. She asked if I would like housekeeping during my stay, due to Covid. Some people opt out, which I did. The entire hotel is spotless, and I didn't see anyone without masks. I recently stayed at a different hotel chain which had limited services and stopped breakfast because of Covid. However, this property was able to safely distribute breakfast. They has guests fill out a form with breakfast requests, packed them up individually, and guests could carry the breakfast to the room. I will be returning for future visits, and will certainly make this property my home in Cincinnati.

Stayed here one night on a road trip. Used the self park garage on Walnut a half block south of the hotel on the left. Walnut is one way. $18. Was fine except when I paid at the machine my validated ticket didn't come out. Fortunately there was a gentleman in the office next to the machine who aided me by digging the ticket out of the machine with a steak knife he had so presumably this happens regularly. If he hadn't been there I would have been screwed. Our room wasn't quite ready so we looked at the contemporary art in the galleries on the first and second floors. Room was fine. Didn't hear any street noise. Staff was very friendly and all I saw wore masks, not all the guests did however. Walked about a half block to Sotto for dinner. Italian trattoria type restaurant. Great food and service. Would consider booking it (you'll need a reservation} if you enjoy that cuisine. Prices fair. Had breakfast at the Sleepy Bee a few blocks away. Food fine but service marginal. Two waiters for total 4-6 tables and had to ask for a coffee refills. An overall impression from my limited travels during Covid is there are a lot of inexperienced workers in the hospitality industry. Multiple individuals shared with us it was their first week or even day. There is a mini bar frig in the room but it isn't stocked or turned on so we didn't take any doggy bags.

Overall we had a very nice stay. I booked the room at the last minute (about 30 minutes before we arrived)…a standard king room for $101. When we checked in the gal at the desk said they didn’t have any standard kings, and so she upgraded us (which was nice since it was our 35th anniversary). I’m not sure if the room we got was a suite, but it was absolutely huge! The bed was comfortable and, with the exception of dried muck on the side of one of the night stands, it seemed pretty clean. There was a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, separate living area, a huge shower, and a pretty good view. Aside from the aforementioned muck, the only other issue was with the breakfast. They had a sign saying that because of the covid situation their usual hot breakfast service had been suspended (which we completely understood), and instead they were offering grab and go options at the coffee station. Problem was the only thing on the coffee station was one apple and one granola bar….that’s it. And they only had hot water and regular coffee…no decaf. Grant it none of this was earth-shattering, and we made it out alive. Just seemed they could have put out a little more effort. Despite the few issues we really did have a positive experience. Considering the room we were given, the price made it a real bargain.

In the city centre, parking is charged. It can be seen that the hotel has been positioned high-end in the past, but as time goes by, the facilities are old and no longer the style of the year. The service is OK, there are a lot of people downstairs.

This is by far the best hotel you can find in Cincinnati! From the decor, to the food, the design, to the staff. Everything is above and beyond expectations. I brought my girlfriend here for a birthday night and was absolutely blown away every step of the way. I want to especially shout out Larry Mosier in concierge for putting the extra touches on a surpise gift we had arranged and personally being available to welcome us upon out arrival. The rooftop bar is gorgeous, with excellent appetizers and cocktails. The restaurant located in the back of the lobby is also a 10/10. Our server Frank was very excellent and helped us navigate the menu and made great recommendations! We had the Terran room which has to be experienced because nothing I write could really do it justice. Thank you so much for making our time a unique and pleasurable experience! P.S In regards to Covid, this place really felt safe and all safety measures really alleviated any concerns my gf had. They are doing everything right here!

This hotel was fine to stay in but I did have some issues with it. First off, I booked it because it said it had an indoor swimming pool. It doesn’t. The pool is outside. The room and actually the whole hotel smelled like smoke. The smoke smell did go away in our room after a while. The people were really nice. The breakfast wasn’t that great. We couldn’t find an ice machine so we didn’t have ice the whole entire time. The hotel was close to all of the attractions we wanted to see. Unfortunately it wasn’t walking distance to any good restaurants.

This hotel was more than great. Upgraded to a one bedroom suite for our anniversary. The room was amazing. So many drawers to put your clothes in. The employees at the front desk (Josh & Kyle) were more than helpful on what to do. Always greeted you with a smile. Valet guys (Joe & Dan) we’re faster than fast. We left something in the car that we wanted to take up. When he got back to the lobby, we told him & he ran back down to the car.

The room is clean and nice. You have to obtain a bag of toiletries when you check in or you will have no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Room is nice and cold - the AC runs superbly. Couple of minor issues - 1) the room is next to the road so we could hear road noises and loud exhaust. (We are on the 7th floor). That is somewhat to be expected when staying at a hotel downtown. 2) we had no toilet paper in the room (and I didn’t look before I leapt - my bad). I’m not sure if it also because of COVID that they do not provide toilet paper like the toiletries (??). Anyway, we went to the front desk to ask for TP and told her there is none in the room at all. The front desk lady said “yes, we do not provide extra toilet paper.” I again repeated that there is NO toilet paper at all. She looked confused and then asked if we want TP now or later 0_o Guess maybe there’s TP rationing going on here?

This was our honest experience. First, finding the place. Signage could be better. We had to circle around to find this place, not knowing it was in the old Cincinnati Enquirer building. Having worked for a newspaper and a person who loves history, this was fascinating. The front of the building is pretty neat. The valet service we received was exceptional. Bruce, our valet, went above and beyond helping us with our luggage, questions, and check in. He really made our experience here pleasant, and always remembered our name. I'll admit - the lobby here needs some help, and to add a bit of confusion, there are two hotels here, not one. The lobby is too dark, and should be showpiece. Check in went fine, though remember that you'll need your key to get to your floor in the elevator. Staff was pleasant and wore masks appropriately. Rooms were large, well designed, and comfortable. We walked to Nicholson's Tavern which was nearby. Not sure of the area, I'd keep any walking to daylight hours. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. We're familiar with restaurants and their restrictions during Covid, but a few breakfast bars, prepackaged muffins, coffee and a few bananas didn't cut it. No juice for my son. In fact, not much food was out. We made the best of it and brought it to our room. We only stayed a night so I can't say much else other than Bruce, our favorite valet, was there again to help us pack up our truck when we checked out. Our stay was ok, though I might try another place next time.

The Swiss Hotel Chicago was booked mainly for the marathon, and this time it was the right choice. I have to say that it is true that Ctrip is free to go abroad and it is really easy to use. I bought air tickets, booked accommodation, and Ctrip made it all. In the United States for so many days, I stayed at the Swiss Hotel in Chicago for the longest time. The Chicago River was just a few steps away, and I took a few steps to the shore of Lake Michigan. It was a runner's paradise. A large number of cruise ships parked in the port. Swim in turquoise lakes in a team. In the distance are the planetarium and the Field Museum, if you don't hurry, you can walk over to visit. The world is beautiful and beautiful.
