Hotels Near Lvs Srl In Province Of Catania Review
Alot of folk get hyped up and excited for holiday. Bags packed and everything sorted a while in advance. Well this was me! However, a week before going I found out that I was infact left with the decision of taking my baby and toddler with me by myself, or not go at all due to personal circumstances. I decided, heh, how hard could it be? The flight out was a disaster (not the flight itself thankfully), my hire car process was a disaster, having over £450 worth of euros going missing from my luggage was a disaster. Not to mention someone in catania trying to squeeze past me in a single lane with raised sides and resulting in me ripping my front wheel to shreds (it was the kids or the car, the car got it) and losing out financially because of that. Then nearly missing my flight out after arriving at the airport before check in because of my bad luck wasn't done with me just yet. Overall, the luck I had was awful and would destroy anyone's holiday, right? Well, this is where the hotel review comes in! From the stunning exterior, lovely interior of the junior suite, the staff, the food (oh wowww... The dinner), and all the other quirky bits, if it wasn't for the staff and the hotel, my holiday would have been the worst one ever for me. I seriously cannot fault really anything at all about the hotel and certainly cannot fault one thing about the staff. This isn't just a hotel, the staff work as a perfect team and practically like a family. I've been to many places across the world including the likes of dubai and Japan etc numerous times where standards are unbelievably high in places and this place was by far the most welcoming and enjoyable to be in. Would I say its children friendly? Not particularly for young kids in the sense of a long vacation (mine was 7 nights). That's just due to the remote location and lack of things to do as it's a hotel, not a resort afterall. So I can't even fault them on that. For adults and older kids, it's perfect. I'd love to return without the kids. The travel cot was perfectly done with a proper mattress and duvet inside. Huge bonus points here. So, for the ones being very picky giving bad reviews, I'm sorry, but, you massively overlooked so many outstanding points this beautiful place offers and the lengths they go to make your stay a wonderful one. Thank you so much to the team for really making my holiday completely worth while, and allowing me to make some magical memories on my children's first holiday. I truly will never be able to demonstrate how much that really means to me. Much love and well wishes from Scotland.
We stayed here 3 nights and used it as a base for visited the Villa Romana del Casale and the Villagio Bisantino, each about a 45-minute drive. Villa Tasca is a multi-generation family business. We met mom and two daughters. They do everything: the greeting, billing, cooking, serving and cleaning. And they do it well and with grace and charm. Lovely people. You enter through a formidable and well-designed gate (you eventually get the entry code) and come to the reception area to check in. There are 2-3 friendly dogs and a band of back kittens lounging about. There you will see the indoor and outdoor dining areas. We ate lunches al fresco, but dinners inside as it was a bit cool by 8PM. They typically serve a 4-course meal: antipasti (2-4 items and almost a meal unto itself), a pasta course (including some unusual ones), a meat course (usually pork-based) and desert. We did the “Full Monty” the first night (too much food!), but on the second and third nights we limited ourselves to just the first 2 courses and were totally sated. The wines are excellent, e.g., the local Nero d’Avola, at only $20€. The family does the cooking and everything was great. There is no place close by to eat . . . and no good reason to leave the Villa. We had a room that opened onto the pool area with a small sitting area in front. It had queen bed on the main level and a loft with 2 single beds and a minibar/refrigerator. The A/C worked well. We didn’t try the TV (who needs the news when you’re on vacation. The pool is very large and well designed with lots of umbrellas and lounges. They also offer horse rides.
It was the perfect setting in a historical villa from the 1800’s for a peaceful tranquil weekend away. Beautiful surroundings, lots of greenery, gorgeous wooden beam ceiling rooms with air conditioning and a large terrace, ocean and volcano views, horses, stunning vegetable patch, Sicilian ceramics, and a fabulous continental breakfast on the terrace which included local pastries, cakes, boiled eggs, salami and cheese, cereals, tea & coffee, juices etc. The rooms are spotlessly clean and large. The air conditioning worked very well. Upon arriving, Tony the very attentive owner came to greet us and show us to our room. He then welcomed us with an aperitivo of homemade limoncello and mandarin liquor. Tony was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He took us around the villa for an excellent historical summary about the villa, showed us the horses, even let us pick some vegetables from the patch. So genuine and we felt like friends not customers. Grazie mille Tony alla prossima!
Very good, cheap, clean, very convenient to live, very good, cheap, clean, very convenient, very convenient, very good, cheap, clean, very convenient to live.
We wanted a quiet relaxing time in the sun and got exactly what we wanted. It's in the middle of nowhere so if you want to be able to get around car hire is recommended. We stayed in the hotel mostly where drink prices are reasonable. If you don't intend going out the 18 euro upgrade to half board is recommended. Three courses with no extra sides would otherwise be 25 euros or more. Staff were great, always happy to help. The pool is clean and quiet. The rooms spacious and clean with a mini fridge, aircon and good bathroom. We took a wine tasting tour and when we got collected the others on the tour were very impressed with the hotel. As always the big question is would we return. The answer is a definite yes.
Our stay at Mugnos Charme Living was a highlight of our trip to Sicily. The town is small, clean, authentically Sicilian, without tourists. Some churches and castle ruins with a great view make nice points of interest for strolls around town. Or do like the locals, grab a bench and watch the sun set. Licodia Eubea makes a great base for exploring some nearby sights, like Caltagirone and Piazza Amerina to the north and Ragusa to the south, to name just a few possibilities. We were bicycle touring and thought the country roads through the hills made for some great riding, and we only sampled a small bit. The countryside is beautiful – the wildflowers in May were stunning. The bedrooms at Mugnos are refinished with high quality materials, and we were in want of nothing. We slept through the church bells most mornings, they add local color through the day! But Francesco and Piero are the reason that Mugnos Charme Living is such a standout. The dining experience in their home, with an opportunity to get to know the hosts a little makes for lasting memories. Francesco is the chef, and the food was delicious from first to last bite (bring a very big appetite!). Ingredients are local, seasonal, and fresh. Piero is the singing sous-chef, and the man behind the mirto liqueur that is not to be missed at meal’s end! Both of them clearly delight in extending hospitality to their guests, and memories of their warm, kind smiles will stay with us. We recommend you plan a few nights at Mugnos Charme Living. Get up early, go take in some sights, and then come home and be coddled and cared for in an authentic Sicilian home!
We stayed here to visit family for a week. I can honestly say Ignazio and his family were the most welcoming and friendly BnB owners! We were welcomed every morning with a traditional Sicilian breakfast and coffee, and were always asked if we wanted anything different,or any English breakfasts. The room was really clean and freshly decorated. We always had clean towels and our room was cleaned daily. The views from the dining room were stunning, rolling hills down into a valley, so it was lovely to wake up to this every morning. It’s just a short 1 minute drive to Caltagirone and about 40 minutes to Catania. So easy for us to get to anything we needed. We especially loved the BnB cats and Leo the dog who lived outside on the grounds :) Definitely staying again when we go over to see family again!
First of all the setting is beautiful. Our room was small, but had a lovely terrace overlooking the vineyards. There was no wine tasting available, not sure if it was the time of year or not. Dinner served with wine was pork on pork on pork. The pasta course was very good although also pork The pork cutlet was rather chewy. Would have benefited from some fresh greens. Our server was very good. There is no air conditioning and no screens on the windows, so you cannot open window without mosquitoes coming in. There is a ceiling fan. This was the end of September, but still warm in the room. Their wine are very good, We did buy a few bottles to take. Owner was very nice.
3of us found ourselves in this beautiful quiet place at the foot of the majestic Mt. Etna. It’s spacious and self contained there is a but ,if your Italian is non existent ,communication can be interesting. Being Aussie we found a good barbie and made the best of things. Rooms were very clean and spacious and the staff are friendly.
The Hotel and cleanliness was fine. Toilets were clean and towels replaced daily. We had a family room with plenty of space available and large TV in the room. Shower pressure was excellent, toilet was also equipped with a hair dryer. Very good and fast Wifi was also provided free of charge. Reception and breakfast needs major improvement as it was very hard to communicate in English, wifi and google translate did help though. Breakfast was a nightmare. Cold restaurant, no hot water, cutlery, milk, tea or coffee unless you asked for it. We had to ask for everything every single day during our 1 week stay. Food was very limited and repetitive. Made you want to have a coffee and leave. Hotel is based in very rural area so a car is a must have. Closest restaurants are within walking distance however if you're looking to have a bigger choice you must go to nearby towns like Giarro or Mascali. Lovely views and close to Mt. Etna. If you're going in Winter season be prepared that there is no heating in the rooms (just an aircon unit which sort of does to job), also no kettle to make hot drinks in the room.

__LW_NL__ ›
The hotel is a bit old and the breakfast is good. The seafood restaurant on the side is good.
Hotel facilities are very good, very close to the Four Corners factory and major attractions. A little distance from the train station and the airport bus stop. The front desk staff was very helpful in solving the problem. More than 810 yuan is worth living.
The room is super big, and the boxes are just spread out. Because Palermo is not big, it is convenient to go anywhere. The front desk provides a map, but the Italian cannot be read, so I still rely on Google.
One thing to complain about is that the door of the room is a bit loose. As long as someone opens and closes the door, it will ping-pong. The first night we thought someone was opening our door, which scared us to death. Later, when the problem was discovered, the cabinet with the luggage was completely dead and quiet. Personally, this is still a big problem.
Just came back from a 16-day trip to Sicily and we loved every bit of it! Palermo was the last stop of our trip and we spent 4 nights at the Quattro Canti B&B. Location is excellent, just right opposite the Fontana Pretoria (fountain of shame) and few steps away from the beautiful Quattro Canti junction. Teatro Massimo is a convenient 10mins walk away and the airport bus is round the corner in front of Rinascente. We felt very safe in this area and there are many restaurant options within 5 mins walk. We had a room on the second floor facing the next building hence not much of a view. Room is okay overall and bed is firm and comfy. The restaurant on the top floor has a good view. Special thanks to Bernadetta at the front desk who was extremely helpful with all our needs.
The hotel has an excellent location, adjacent to the famous Sijiaochang, in the most prosperous street in the city center, close to the railway station, airport buses, and main attractions. Within 15 minutes’ walk, the breakfast is rich, the service is very good, and the hotel has a courtyard. The room we stayed in, the bathroom is also big, it is the best choice for traveling to Palermo
Very good value for money, very suitable for travel. Not far from the attractions, sleeping quiet at night, walking more than 20 minutes from the train station. The beds and bathrooms are just fine, and I will live next time.
For the hotel set by cruise ship, the location is just opposite the pier, and there is also its own free parking lot, which is super convenient. The room is a budget hotel, which is quite satisfactory. The most unexpected thing was the hotel's breakfast, which was hearty, and overlooked the harbour. It's not far from the scenic area, if you can, you can walk along the beach to Sijiaochang and the Royal Palace. We walked slowly for about 45 minutes. Overall very satisfied.
Buona struttura, ottimo servizio, posizione un po decentrata ma con tranquillo spazio interno
The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good. It is recommended to have a balcony room facing the sea and watching the sunrise. 1 km from the train station, you can walk to attractions such as Sijiaochang. From the airport to the hotel in the evening, I took a VAN and bargained 60 Euros.
The room is quite big and the breakfast is great! Just missing a kettle
Very nice and warm hotel! The front desk and restaurant are very welcoming and the breakfast is delicious.
Because it is the last stop of the journey, and considering the hotel chain, our vigilance is reduced. When I went to breakfast, I didn't lock the suitcase. When I returned to China, I found that one thousand yuan in the suitcase was gone. I suspect it was stolen in this hotel, because there are lock boxes in other places, and staying here. The RMB in front of the hotel has always been there. I have seen the experience of other people before I traveled. I know that Italy has such a theft incident. I didn’t expect it to happen to myself. I can only blame myself for being too big.
The hotel is located in the center of Palermo Old Town, close to the main attractions. The hotel was originally the Sicilian Stock Exchange. excellent service.
The rooms are okay, the restaurant in the hotel is recommended, the scenery 8 is particularly beautiful
