Great hotel and a very attentive staff. I enjoyed my stay.. I have a lot of travel to Bend this summer.. but…. There’s 2 things that stand out to me that I dropped the rating for. The first is how great the automated texts and messages are but it can be overwhelming. I received 5 email messages and 3 text messages within 24hrs of my arrival. One including the option to bid for an upgrade. The couple texts after my stay were fine. The upgrade bidding was a bit odd to me. As someone that stays in a lot of hotels, I get upgraded quite a bit. Usually they are offered at check in if it’s available. I’m ok paying a fee sometimes but for how hands on and attentive the staff is this felt very disconnected and odd. Ok so this last one and why I put 3 stars. This will actually keep me from coming back. My room was setup and stocked with single ply toilet paper. This hotel is so nice so to see them save costs here is unacceptable. It’s very uncomfortable and didn’t fit. I was by myself. If my partner was with me shoe would have bad me go to the store to buy decent toilet paper. For a $400+ a night room, put the double ply in. Otherwise everything was great. Including the valet. Great location as well.

This property and the Hilton in South Padre Island Tx., are the reason I will not stay in a Hilton again. This is the second bad experience in three months - not with staff - they are very friendly here - but with the poor conditions of the rooms. Outdated, worn, and torn furniture, strangely mounted tvs with wires hither and yon, and with no place at all to put a suitcase in the bedroom one is forced to put suitcases in the living room part of the suite. What the heck is going on here? The property is in downtown Bend and there are lots of eating and shopping options within walking distance. I’d say save your money and go elsewhere.

To start with the manager, Kevin, is abrasive and grumpy. I was bit by a bed bug and killed it during the night. Could hardly sleep the rest of the night. Left at 5:30 in the morning. I told the front desk person in the morning about it and she said that they did have a problem with the room just below us being infested. Then I do the review to their hotel and Kevin emails me basically calling me a liar. He said that bed bugs don’t travel from floor to floor. Well I did some research and yes they do. They travel on the cleaners carts with the dirty sheets etc. I absolutely do not want anything from them or asked them for anything. I was just making them aware that I had been bit. This is a Wyndham property and I have now emailed corporate office about it. I’m not asking for a refund or anything. Frankly I don’t care about that, but I do become incensed when he sent me that rude email. He should have just left it alone and I wouldn’t even be writing this review. Anyways I would definitely not recommend this hotel and I would ask you to read all the other complaints I now see on here, as I wish I had done that in the first place.

Location: The location of the hotel is good, the town of Bend is not big, it is very convenient to drive anywhere; but it is a bit far from the river, where the riverside is the most beautiful and the most visited. Service: The service is quite good, the people in the town are very polite and enthusiastic; Breakfast: The hotel breakfast is quite rich, especially the barbecue pieces are very good; Cost-effective: The price is quite high, whether it is a business trip or a trip, it is a good choice.

We spent two nights at this property. It's located north of the old downtown. A bit of a hike by foot. We had an executive King room which was oddly configured but comfortable enough. A hot buffet breakfast was offered which is odd during Covid times. The main reason I give this property 3 stars is that we discovered by accident that the refrigerator in the room has a two hour timer. Yes. You have to manually go in every two hours, bend down and press the button to keep it on. I have never stayed in a hotel with this. How much power do you save? What about mother's who need to store milk for infants? Or medication? This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable.

any crumbs or anything that was on the floors by hand and made the beds every morning. We were going to stay again we pre paid for another night I ask the maid for some new towels and gave her the towels that we had in the room for 5 days, about 30 minutes later I get a call with this man screaming at me at the top of his lungs I didn't even know what was going on and he says I'm coming up to your room right now. About 30 seconds later he shows up with the maid has the towels which he literally threw on the ground on the right in front of me and he's yelling that I destroyed his towels and kicks us out he would not refund my money I had to call the police, and keep in mind this is all over a few towels that weren't even that dirty, the room was in perfect condition when he looked at it so that should have been an indication to him that we were being responsible and respectful And to top it off he didn't even wash the towels before calling me and coming up to the room screaming at me I was on the phone with my girlfriend she's in the ICU at the Hospital listening to this guy treating us like that. So when the police arrived we came to an agreement that if ”I” wash the towels and if they came out to his expectations clean wise then he would refund the money. I checked into a Sleep Inn Choice Hotel which was actually closer to the hospital and was a lot nicer and after we got settled back in I ran to a laundromat and about 2 hours + $20 and a lot of extra unnecessary stress later I put them in a wash, folded them and return them he was not there the lady up front who was extremely cool the whole time and didn't even understand why we were treated like that especially after being awesome customers and keeping the room clean ourselves. He did not care that we had a serious family emergency. We chose to stay at his Motel he didn't even wash the towels before deciding to treat his customers like that. all the while he has a Cadillac Escalade suv on rims out front and wants to treat good-paying respectful customers like criminals over a couple towels that he didn't even clean before bringing it to our attention. DON'T STAY HERE because if you do and there's any type of situation this guy will kick you out disrespect you and not refund your money and he will belittle you he even threw religion in my face at one point and treated us like that in front of people and in front of the owner of a guitar place that's in the same parking lot, I was going to buy a keyboard later that day and he made me look bad and feel belittled and like someone who was a bad person and really embarrassed me from even wanting to go back into that music store to purchase the keyboard I will not be staying here ever again and neither will any of my family or friends. We got the refund but I should have charged him for a cleaning fee because he didn't even do his job or provide any of the services that we paid for, except the room itself. Not to mention towels are a business expen

I am tired of playing at Smith Rock. I am looking for a hotel nearby. Many of them are full on Saturday. Fortunately, this room has a room, maybe it is expensive. The rooms are large, there are some, and there is an activity area with a sofa, coffee table and desk. Refrigerators and microwaves are great. The room is soundproof and close to the lobby but I can't hear the sound outside. Breakfast is OK, hot scrambled eggs and bacon, now made of waffles, but only a small variety of fruits, only 4, and no vegetables.

Well received, well serviced. No bacon at breakfast? Two types of 'sausage' one shaped like a hamburger. Originally conceptualised as a long stay specialist, Residence Inn seems to have pivoted to transient. Used to be a small bedroom and a Living Room/Dining separate, it has morphed into a BR and a sofa with kitchen. For one night OK but not what I expected.
