Spent two nights here, 2/26/20 & 2/27/20. Had reserved a King Leisure room and they upgraded us to a two room suite at no extra charge. The rooms were spotless, spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfy with good linens. The bathroom had great lighting and the shower pressure was excellent. Towels were good and thick and plenty of them for the two of us. The breakfast area was nice and the usual HIE breakfast fare was very good. The staff at this HIE IS SO HELPFUL! We checked out at 3:00am and the lady on duty gave us excellent directions to the airport. They also recommended a really good restaurant on the 26th (Juicy Seafood). We would definitely recommend this wonderful HIE if you are going to be in the Nashville area!

I was traveling with some of my business friends into Nashville. We were going to be out the most of the day and just come in to sleep. We found this hotel on the internet and decided to give it a shot. We did read bad reviews but, every other hotel we looked at had high rates. We had only a little to spend per day. We were there for 5 nights. We needed a clean room with free Wi-Fi. This hotel had a small but, neatly organized breakfast, front desk clerk was very professional. The rooms was very clean and the maids were very helpful. The area is a bit busy but, lots of restaurants/fastfood places to eat at. We would like to recommend this hotel.

The hotel in itself is decent, rooms in the front of the building by the office are renovated and nice PLUS it’s quiet on this side. But if you’re a smoker or any type of non corporate/business like customer you’ll get a room on the other side, in the projects. Slight “renovations”, not so quiet back here but it’s laid back...Still Same 97$ though. Hahaha, cool place.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was big and clean, was cleaned inc towels changed on a daily basis. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good - waffles, cereal, fruit, donuts, toast. The coffee isn’t great but not a huge deal! Our room felt secure, no complaints there. One thing to flag is the lack of reusable/recyclable crockery/cutlery/cups at breakfast and recycling bins. Although this didn’t directly impact our stay I did feel a little guilty throwing all our plates, knives and forks into landfill every morning and throwing recyclable materials into our landfill bin in our room. Also as nice as it was to have our towels changed everyday, this again added to our eco-guilt. We’ve found this is an issue across most places we’ve visited in the US though rather than specifically for Somatel. It was easy enough to get in and out of downtown (using number 52B bus) with a bus top just down the road and there’s lots of fast food and petrol stations nearby for food and drinks. I’d recommend a stay here!

This is the Choice hotels entry into the booming extended stay segment of the accommodations industry. It is also run like a discount airline - they provide a roof over your head but everything else you have to pay extra. Cases in point: They provide a kitchenette with refrigerator, but without pots and pans or utensils. They have plentiful open kitchen cabinets, but no plates or bowls, cups or saucers or flatware. They have a spacious counter space but no coffeemaker. (Coffee is available in the lobby from a hospital style coffee machine) They have no ice machine in the entire hotel. No darkening room shades; no bedding to speak of, just a light blanket. Our room was ADA complliant - yes it had a roll or walkin shower and safety rails but no shampoo, just one bar of soap. One towel and washcloth each. All of the amenities one usually finds in an extended stay facility are available at extra cost. The free wi-fi, for example, allows for one device at a time unless you pay an additional fee. The buiilding was relatively new, built in the latest matchbox twig construction to allow fast completion but lacks any sound insulation to speak of. They select locations adjacent to interstate highways for convenience but also results in a generally unsatisfactory noise level. Staff was pleasant enough but unable to help. Just pray that they don't discover the concept of shared bathrooms like the old boarding houses of the 19th century. So, if you carry your own kitchen appliances, cooking pots and utensils, a white noise generator to mask out traffic and internal noiise, extra towels and blankets, soap and shampoo whenever you travel, look elsewhere. There's nothing to complain about because it is all part of the business model. This is what they intend so they're jut delivering what they deliver. It's just not much.

So, pictures are very deceptive. I booked this thinking it was a decent hotel at a low price. We pull up and there's sketchy people everywhere, a handful of police officers were in somebody's doorway right next to the front office... We go to check in and the lady at front is still new, and she was nice and I have no issue with how she handled anything. But we were checking in and we weren't told our room number, we had to ask for it. Room 300. So they tell us and we go up there and are APPALLED. Mold in the shower, dirty toilet, run down cabinets, fire alarm going out, everything is just really gross. We try to sit for 10 minutes to see if we can deal with it and it's just disgusting. So we go back down and let them know the state of that room and they had "accidentally" gave us that room. A room shouldn't even BE in that condition. SO they brought us to another room with our bed requirements and it STANK of smoke and weed and was absolutely horrifying. I could barely breathe in there. He told us- "That's all I can do". He told us to pick between a room with mold and safety issues or one drenched in weed. And remember this place has a no smoking policy. I just don't see how you as a manager can comfortably show these rooms to people who are paying you to stay there. We asked for our money back because we could barely stand to be there and he said sorry there's nothing we can do because you booked through a third party. So I got ahold of this third party and they have no record of me buying through them. Then I went through the site where I booked them- because it wasn't direct, but was not the place he said I did it through- and showed them pictures and they're trying to get ahold of them, but to no answer. Super sketch and super disgusting. Literally have never been to a place worse and you'd have to see it to believe it. I just can't believe they showed us those rooms and said sorry, you can leave but you don't get your money back. And we left! We went to a local Hilton that was MUCH better and up to health codes and standards. Unfortunately I did not catch this manager's name.

I stayed here for one night with my father due to its proximity to an interview location. The check in was smooth, and the personnel was friendly. We were given the option of a interstate-facing room or not. Based on reviews I had already read, we opted for non-interstate-facing and had no noise issues. Our room, although non-smoking, stunk of cigarettes. We did not make any complaint, but in hindsight, I would have asked to change rooms, as all of my clothes stunk of cigarettes upon check in at our next night’s location. Other than that, the room was acceptable for a motel. It was clean, had a table and chair, microwave and fridge. The bathroom is a little tight, as only toilet and tub/shower are enclosed. If you are sensitive to smoking, do note that many people stand on the balconies to smoke. Free parking and modest breakfast. Cracker Barrel is right next door and an easy walk. I would stay here again, if circumstances necessitated it.

Could use some TLC in the rooms we stayed. But book your room before hand and you will save at least 40 dollars. Me and my husband stayed here for 2 and a half weeks. We finally figured out that we could upgrade our room. Always book the premium room. They are alot cleaner and alot more space. All and all the bed slept wonderful and the office personal experience was a 7 out of 10. Being 1 the worst. We stayed the 1st few days in 125,which we had not a clue that they offered 3 different varieties of rooms. Then we booked a week in the premium room. Still the beds were exceptional. But the only thing I have to complain about is they dont offer breakfast. And the rooms could use some TLC. I have posted some pictures of the 125 room that we stayed in 1st.

Great location in downtown Nashville! We visited in July, so due to COVID there was not much going on in Nashville, but we were only staying for a night to break up a long road trip. The hotel was in walking distance to several local restaurants and places of interest. The kids LOVED the spacious outdoor pool area upstairs, as well as, the large hot tub. I used the gym and it was perfect for my daily bike ride and run.

My husband and I stayed here for our tenth anniversary, and it was definitely memorable! We had to change rooms twice, once because the AC didn't work, and once because the ceiling was leaking. However, the beds were super comfortable, and the atrium, pool, and fitness rooms were great. The restaurant has very good food and great atmosphere. Everyone, especially the lady that worked the front desk in the mornings, was very nice, and we got moved quickly and easily both times. I would recommend staying here to anyone, though it seems the hotel could really use some updating. We would stay here again.

We stayed here March 6 and March 7 2020 coincidentally right after the tornado. It was an excellent stay. The lady at desk was genuinely friendly. I wish I remembered her name. All staff we met were very professional and nice. The motel and our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Since there was the tornado and there was damage close by there were supplies that had been donated stacked neatly in the lobby to be distributed. That made me glad. In addition, when we were checking out there was a family who had been impacted by the tornado checking in. The desk clerk again was so kind. I heard her tell the lady that they would take good care of her family. I do believe they would!

Short walk to Broadway but if you are looking for great BBQ, look no further than across the street at Martin's. Valet is $40/day so if staying for a few days perhaps look for parking nearby. Our room's AC was not fully functioning, and we asked to have it looked at twice to no avail, but we are not squeaky wheels so we just dealt with it. The Staff at the front desk was super friendly and would have moved us if we asked, but we had unpacked everything and settled in before we noticed, so we didn't ask.

Great hotel. Very well kept, modern with nice beds. Breakfast and all but 1 worker were pleasant. The lady that cleans the food up after breakfast seemed to be having a bad day. We got down there just before they closed so I was putting some food on my plate. I left the lid open and went to grab another plate. As I do that she is grabbing the service utensils to clean them up. I asked her to hang on a sec and she just looks and me and turns away. Later on as I a was eating we got the pleasant "go away" stare. I get she has a job to do but at least let me finish getting my food before you try to take everything away. They close at 9:30, give me until then please.

Noelle is the kind of hotel that feels like home with a staff that feels like family. From the grandiose lobby to the cozy archives, from a surprise "anti-Valentine's" party at the Hidden Bar to sunsets by the fire at the RareBird rooftop bar, there is an adventure or a comfort around every turn. The hotel has become my ritual: in the morning, Sump coffee at Drug Store Cafe and in the evening, a visit to the luxurious gym or Netflix via screenshare in my bed. After dozens of stays, I have yet to see Noelle's gold accents lose their lustre nor its historical homages lose their charm. I fear that I won't know how much my time at Noelle has meant to me until I no longer walk feel the sense of calm and delight wash over me upon entering the lobby and being greeted by genuine hospitality. Which brings me to the hardest goodbye of all: Noelle's staff. When I first arrived late on a Sunday night, anxious for a work week ahead, it was Tye and Denise who soothed me, treating me like the friends we would soon become. Upstairs, a fresh cheese plate and a card with a personal note awaited me as if they knew exactly what I needed to feel supported on my first night in a new city. I never imagined that my offhand comment to Denise and Tye about doing a girls' night with my best friend a month later would be remembered, and that a chilled bottle of champagne would await us she we arrived. A few weeks later, Tye beckoned me behind the front desk to watch a video of a marriage proposal during Nashville's tornado. I watch, moved and transfixed, while Tye moves effortlessly between checking in guests and filling me in on details. It wasn't until later that I found out the woman in the video was a recent guest at the hotel, and that not only did Tye open her welcoming arms in the midst of the city's trauma, but she has been organizing care packages and donation support for her family ever since. I will never forget on the morning of the Nashville Tornado when I came downstairs, in barely sound enough state to rise from bed, to find that each and every staff member had driven miles to be there serving hot breakfast and checking on their guests. Isaac at Drug Store Café, who had been up all night only a few hundred feet from the twister, not only remembered my order by heart but offered to give it to me on the house when I dazedly couldn't find my card. Over the weeks, I've seen the staff look after one another with just as genuine a care as the guests. Seeing Tye and Denise expertly coach Alexandria, Hayley and other new staff, or the whole team work together when I mistakenly sent a tub of ice cream to the hotel instead of to my office (I can't imagine their self-restraint!) has been an unexpected joy. I never imagined that as a business traveller, I could find such a home away from home and a family in this talented, professional, and deeply committed team. Hotel is in a great location, with good quality rooms. The one bed suite has a full kitchen and separate living area. The only slightly strange thing is that there is no AC in the bedroom, just the living area, so it was 2-3 degrees warmer in the bedroom. Breakfast range was good, and actually served with real cutlery and plates instead of plastic like most hotels - kudos for looking after the environment Residence Inn. Jeanna Cacciatore on reception was really helpful with everything we needed, as were all other staff we met. And when we had to leave early to fly home, the hotel were incredibly accommodating. Nice hotel, good location, big comfortable rooms, nice staff. What could go wrong? As I walked into the lobby I was overwhelmed by an awful Air Freshener of some sort. I don't necessarily have a sensitivity to fragrances and chemicals but this was so strong I could taste it. I literally was trying to hold my breath so I wouldn't inhale as much. In the morning I came down for breakfast and once again was overwhelmed by the intensity of the lobby air freshener. Needless to say, eating in that atmosphere was out of the question. Likewise, while waiting for my car service I could not stay in the lobby and had to wait outside. I cannot imagine how bad this could be for someone with asthma or other auto immune issues. Made my eyes sting it was so heavy in the air!

Liked · The location was great and easily walkable to the main downtown attractions, yet far enough removed to be quiet. The beds were comfortable. A kind gentleman working in the lobby noticed we were lost and pointed my husband and I in the direction of Bakersfield (a nearby restaurant/bar), which had wonderful appetizers and drinks. Disliked · I rarely ever leave a bad review but this Hampton disappointed me on numerous levels. Upon check in the desk clerk had the nightly charge at about $100 more than we expected to pay. He had already assigned us a room and had keys layed out with our 6th floor room clearly marked. When I mentioned that the room rate was incorrect and not what I was expecting he had no idea that our reservation was even booked through Booking.com. He fixed the rate error but then assigned us a new room on the 2nd floor. For a hotel that went through the effort to add stickers claiming that the room had been sanitized, our room was gross. There was a tissue and a pill wrapper in the bathroom trash from the previous guest as well as easily cleaned up makeup all over the side table next to the sofa. The "desk lamp" was non existent, but the base was there with exposed wires hanging out of the top. We aren't sure what was smeared and dripped down the ottomans but were afraid to touch it. The business center had 2 computers. One was unplugged and inoperable. The other was unable to get online and gave error messages. When I asked at the front desk about it, I was told that they were aware and could print boarding passes or tickets for me, which was kind of them, but I was hoping to log in to complete some work that didn't require printing. Upon checkout, we were told that the valet employee was unable to bring our car down from the garage because he hadn't shown up to work and we'd have to go get it ourselves. Not a huge issue, just inconvenient and at $39 a night to park, I'd think they would have more than 1 valet employee working on the weekend.

This property is not as nice as most Country Inn and Suites. It's a bit worn and tired. Our bathroom had a section that hadn't even been painted! The commode seat wiggled enough to make you think it might fall off. Be prepared to have your credit or debit card charged a damage deposit. If you live in Tennessee it's $75; out of state it's $50. Also, if you're going to need a hairdryer be sure and pick one up at the front desk. There aren't any in the rooms! I've never had to do this at any other CI&S, and I have stayed at many. If I return to Nashville I will certainly try a different property.

My wife and I were celebrating her birthday last week, and Nashville was where she wanted to go (I certainly didn't mind though). We checked in on Wednesday March 4 for three nights. My first thought of the lobby area was it reminded me of the Contemporary Hotel in Disney World minus the monorail running through it. Our early check-in went smoothly as our room was already available, and it was one facing the park, as we requested. Regarding the room itself, it was overall clean and spacious. Next door at Bridgestone Arena, there was a concert the first evening, a hockey game the next evening, and another concert the last evening. We did hear their noise, but glad we didn't also hear all the music from the other side (rooms facing Broadway). Our check-out experience went well too with no discrepancies in our final bill. For breakfasts, we enjoyed the buffet in the lobby. It was nothing spectacular, but still had all the usual breakfast foods. Our only issue came with the coffee shop where on Thursday March 5, it didn't open until after 7am. It was an issue as we are early risers and were specifically told they opened 6am weekdays. Regardless, I would certainly consider staying here again the next time we're in town.

A perfectly fine hotel for those who may be in town for a few days and looking for a bit of room to spread out. In our case, we booked a two-bedroom suite for us and two members of the family. We got a quiet, immaculate, conveniently located space with an attached, well-lit (paid) parking garage. Here's what I liked. A comfortable lobby. Friendly, professional, responsive service. An above-average buffet breakfast and a spacious dining area. High-quality towels and bedding. Good water pressure in the shower. Lots of plugs for all those chargers we travel with these days. TVs in all three rooms. Electrically operated privacy shades as well as room-darkening drapes. A well-equipped kitchen. Gripes are pretty minimal. Oddly, the sitting area had no lights so if you wanted to do some night reading, you had to sit in one of the dining chairs or the one desk chair. The shower could have used a grab bar. Unlike the others in my family, I had an issue with accessing wifi, though an unlimited data plan on my cell phone easily solved that. That's about it. Bottom line, this was an excellent choice and one we'll likely return to the next time we're in Nashville.

I had the unexpected pleasure of staying at the Green Hills Hilton. It was a business trip so I didn't expect it to be anything but work--I couldn't even pop over to the really tremendous mall, but what made my trip so special--besides the large room, all the TV channels, perfect pillows and good bath products was the staff! Especially Teresa Najar. Even before I arrived I spoke to her on the phone and no one could be more personable and helpful. Plus she has a tremendous voice! She should be doing voice-overs. She provided me with extra coffee (no housekeeping if you don't want it during these scary times), towels, and her warm humanity. She was funny, sweet, and for that reason mostly, I will always stay here when I'm in town.

We spent two nights a week ago traveling for fun as a couple. It was a fantastic experience from our initial contact (the hotel actually called to see if we needed anything for a smooth trip or arrival about a week before we got there, which was a nice touch), to the check in with Elliot who was very helpful and friendly, and then all the way through our stay to our check out. Ellington's has a terrific happy hour and outdoor deck - Wonderful cocktails and appetizers (go for the pimento cheese to wash down with a nice dry martini!). The room is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a Cherry Suite which is a big larger and has everything you will need. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the bathroom large. Morning coffee is excellent in the lobby. The location is terrific - right next to Painter's Alley and a few blocks from Broadway and other sites. The developer and designer did a great job of making a new hotel feel truly vintage. Valet parking is a great way to go. We even had to leave around 5:30 am for the airport, so we called the night before to make sure we could access our car, and they had it pulled up waiting for us. Overall, you can't go wrong staying here. We will make The Fairlane our Nashville hotel for sure!

This hotel right in the best part of downtown Nashville turned out to be the best choice we could have made. Upon walking in for check-in, professionalism was evident. Quick courteous service and a clean lobby started the experience and it only got better from there. The room was up on the 19th level offering a quiet night and great view. WiFi worked very well and easy to access. Beds like sleeping on a cloud. Just a few steps from downtown attractions and plenty of opportunity to eat in house or nearby in the neighborhood. I forgot my MacBook laptop in the room and simply called in to report it. Shortly after we received a call and it was not only found, but packed up and shipped to my home. No exaggeration at all, this facility was 100% of anything we expected at a very reasonable cost.

We always stay near the airport, leave our vehicle at the hotel and shuttle to the airport. We have stayed here many times. Beds are comfortable, rooms are good size, and staff are super friendly and helpful. Our shuttle driver was extremely friendly and a great start to our day. As for breakfast, I think it was more grab-n-go. And the room cost with the park n fly option is very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again & again. Thanks

Not sure where to start. I gave it two stars simply because the staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is something else. Musty halls, musty elevator. The first room we went in to smelled like urine and both comforters were filthy. Had some weird gunk on it, the tv was on and maybe a dog bone was On the floor. Looks like someone was just in there. front desk was really nice, apologized and changed us out real quick and this room was at least clean and smelled better. But the list of inconveniences this room had was insane- the entire room was wet. Maybe from the air conditioner. The fridge was leaking so we had to stuff the hand towels underneath it just to stop it, and the cabinet door where the fridge is was broken. The clock, remote, and safe had no batteries. We changed the batteries for the remote but it didn’t matter, it didn’t work with the tv. There was one outlet the was so horribly placed and it was hard to charge any of our stuff. We had to choose between charging or keeping the light plugged in. then they had a towel shortage, you have to give them Your dirty towels to get new ones. Not that I cared about that really. They were very pet friendly so that was a plus but if were back in Nashville, I wouldn’t stay there again.

We arrived the day that the country started shutting down due to the virus, but thankfully everything at the Tru was running fine. It appeared the hotel was a full occupancy, but the staff was able to keep up with the large breakfast crowds. I wish the room had a little more space for clothing/luggage. I guess Tru is geared to Millennials that do not pack much or only stay in the room 1 day, next time i would probably stay at the Home2 side of the building for a multiple day trip. Tru's seem to be better suited for a 1 night visit.
