There are a couple things to mention.. 1 was the swimming pool was closed, i did not see anywhere that it was closed prior to booking and there were families there dissapointed as well bc They were all geared up for the pool with the little ones. Another thing is there are NO Microwaves in the rooms... That was a big issue as we had left overs we couldn't enjoy and they do not offer breakfast. Last thing, the parking ramp is TINY & under construction so more than half of it couldn't be used. Other than those 3 things This was a great fun trip.. I had a blast. I would rent again.. I found out pool opens in end of August

Breakfast for 15 dollars a person, no tip. The shower head can't be taken down, the bathtub is too shallow, and every time the bath water will run out. The replacement is also given casually.

The location is very good, just 300 meters away from the exhibition center, the city center is out, there are mall and target nearby, and the clothing and daily necessities are tax-free, so surprised. The hotel lobby is very tall, the parking lot is in the basement, and the elevator is directly to the hotel lobby, which is very convenient, but the hotel parking fee is 14 dollars a night. The overall experience is good, share it with everyone, foreign hotels will be particularly expensive on weekends or when there are many people. This is a bit unacceptable. The price of the first night is especially expensive, twice the third night, so I suggest you choose a good time. Oh, try to avoid weekends and busy time.

Stayed here during a month of business in Minneapolis. During bad weather, there is easy Skyway access and could walk throughout downtown without going outside. Room was comfortable, great bed, and kitchen area had all we needed. Staff provided just the right amount of friendliness, attention, and privacy. Free daily breakfast was available and typical for the chain, attendant was great. We parked in the LaSalle Court Parking Garage for a great monthly contract rate and could access the hotel directly from there via elevator without having to go outside.

I was here for business and this was the hotel that was chosen for me by my hosts. I'm glad they did. The room is very nice and comfortable. The decor is pleasing and tasteful. They do a great job utilizing the space so it doesn't feel cramped yet gives options for relaxing. The fitness center is well enough appointed and offers towels and complimentary bottles of water. The staff has been amazing. They are attentive and friendly. They never walk past anyone or let anyone walk past without some form of greeting. The second morning in the restaurant, the waiter knew our order from the day before. The location is excellent in relation to the rest of downtown and any place you would need to go. My only quibble would the prices for the extras are a touch high. I know hotel snacks are never a bargain, but these are high enough that it was worth the trouble to go out and get some elsewhere. The price for breakfast in the restaurant is on the high side, though the food is excellent and served with a very generous portion. All in all an excellent choice as a place to stay in downtown Minneapolis.

I have stayed in Country Inn & Suite at other cities and locations and were well managed in terms of service, cleanliness, but this location was not up to par with the areas that I pointed to. It took over 25 minutes before I was able to check in even after the necessary information was sent to hotel several days before our arrival. Several problems in the pool and hot tub area. Several babies and children using hot tub with no adult supervision. No hotel staff seen even with the rowdy and horse play within the pool area. Too many people in that small area.

We stayed with our daughter and fiance' in a lovely spacious room with two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the shower was great! The entrance is interesting in that you have to take the elevator up to the H level to get to the lobby. Parking space is available in the parking ramp below for a fee. We were there during Covid so the restaurant and bar were closed, fortunately we had brought our own wine and steak knife and ordered out a delicious meal from Ruth's Chris on Door-dash. The free breakfast included a full bottle of water and a choice of three items from their snack bar including: fruit cup, yogurt, danish, muffin, and orange. There was a small fridge and coffee maker in the room, we would have appreciated a microwave too! Checkout wasn't until noon, so it worked great for a later plane departure. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Days Hotel is a chain of express hotels, the hotel service is good, check-in and check-out is very convenient, the toilet is not available during the stay, the service staff can handle in time, the attitude is very good. Breakfast is also good, but the types are basically fixed. There are different facilities such as cold drink machine and ice machine on different floors. This is different from domestic ones. The hotel is affordable and suitable for long stays. It is close to the University of Minnesota, about 10 minutes away, and the light rail is also very convenient. It is also convenient to the downtown, Minnesota-St. Paul Airport.

I came traveled to Minnesota with a group for work, and we all stayed at this Radisson. Prior to booking my room, I called to confirm if there was a refrigerator and the staff confirmed my room would have one. I would later come to find out that wasn't true. When we arrived, the front desk receptionist was very friendly but not very helpful. We learned the on site restaurant was closed due to renovations, which isn't mentioned on their website. That was disappointing but not a deal breaker. We were concerned if breakfast was still going to be provided, since we paid extra for breakfast. She couldn't confidently tell us yes.. That wasn't reassuring that the staff didn't know. We checked into our rooms and a few of us found there was no fridge/microwave in our room, despite being told that there was going to be. Additionally, one of my coworkers had no heat in his room. Apparently this isn't an isolated occurrence since as I'm writing this review, there's a review on the side of the page that mentioned the same problem on Dec 23rd. The staff did make things right by moving my coworker, and moving a fridge to his room. As for my room, the amenities and layout were lacking. I purposely booked a "business class" room which cost more but this room isn't much better than a standard room. From talking to my coworkers, the main difference is that this room comes with a desk. However that desk isn't great for working at. There are no convenient outlets like most other hotels have, and the wooden desk has a glass top. That means you can't use an optical mouse directly on the desk. It's a minor inconvenience since you can just put down a piece of paper, but not what I'd expect from a business class room. The shower wasn't great either. It had a new shower head which was nice to see, but it took at least 5 minutes for the water to heat up. The rest of the room was fine. Then came breakfast the next morning. Based on the website, we expected just a breakfast buffet because it's described as a "plentiful breakfast spread". Instead you order from the kitchen, and if you have a voucher, there was one select meal you'd get for free. If you're dietary restrictions, you shouldn't bother paying for breakfast up front when you book, because you have no choice in what you get with that voucher. Well, the receptionist who checked us in didn't give any of us vouchers. So we had to stop by the desk to and waste some time there. Then we had to waste some more time waiting for someone to come take our order, despite the dining area being empty. In the end, we had to leave by the time they would have filled our orders so we just got food from the nearby Denny's. Overall, it was not a great experience. We decided later that next day to check out and moved hotels. That should tell you a lot about our level of dissatisfaction, since we had to step away from work to book new hotel rooms and return to the Radisson midday to checkout.

The location is good and inside of the room look decent. Staff is nice. However, our king bed in standard king room is very firm. I am not able to sleep comfortably at night. Saw review on google with someone from the hotel saying that a soft topper can be requested. Asked staff for help and they did but there is none. Disappointed for a 4 star to have uncomfortable bed. Bed in 2 star is more comfortable and it is in standard king room as well. Most likely will never come back because the most important thing in staying at hotel is the comfort of the bed. I don't want to risk having to sleep in uncomfortable bed for a few night.

My fiancé and I checked into this gorgeous hotel the day after it reopened in July 2020. This hotel lobby is STUNNING. You are surrounded by lush green plants, beautiful marble and glass tile, and cozy places to sit left and right. We were blown away at how pretty it was. We enjoyed learning that this property used to be a bank that was converted to a hotel (you can even see the old bank vaults still installed in a few places in the lobby). It is conveniently located to public transport and in a very walkable location. We were able to walk to the river to sightsee, walk to Target, walk to restaurants and more. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly at the front desk, given an upgraded room (without even asking for it) and chatted with Tobias, the General Manager, as we learned about the hotels history & reopening. He, and the staff, clearly take a lot of pride in their hotel, it's history, and the work they do to make it a warm and friendly place to stay. Given the pandemic and how topsy-turvy the world is right now, we had concerns traveling and staying in a hotel away from home. These concerns were immediately squashed as we saw how immaculate the hotel and our room was. Extra precautions were put into place, including limiting the cleaning staff from entering the room every day. I can not say enough about how beautiful this hotel is and how friendly the staff was. When we were there the coffee bar & restaurant hadn't re-opened yet. I am looking forward to staying in this property again and enjoying what is sure to be incredible food, in a gorgeous setting. Thanks Tobias and staff for setting our minds at ease by providing such a beautiful and clean hotel for our stay.

This location was perfect when home visiting family. Easy freeway access, close to downtown Minneapolis, and not far from St. Paul. I’d had weekend brunch at the 400 Tavern restaurant in the past and wanted to return for their great Bloody Marys and good food. Parking is free and right in front of the hotel, which means a lot in the winter. Really nice 24-hr gym and a saline pool and hot tub that are open until 11. In-room coffee was decent and you can grab to-go coffee at the restaurant, but If you want an espresso drink, you need to get to their little Starbucks bar by 10am. The room was spotless upon arrival but housekeeping missed some things like vacuuming crumbs and leaving us more than one towel. That was over Christmas though, so may have been their backup staff trying to get home to family. Customer service was great, and they had some nice touches like a quality hair dryer. My only complaint is that the pillows (down and synthetic) were all a bit thicker than I’d like, but I think they are standard Marriott pillows. Overall, a great hotel for the price. We’ll be back.

The Westin is inside an old bank and along with the bank vault turned into a wine cellar comes that old bank smell that is both musty but nostalgic. I stay in downtown Minneapolis every month over the last 5 years so I’ve stayed almost everywhere and the Westin has been one of my preferred venues. PROS I was upgraded to one of the suites on the same floor as the fitness center and swimming pool. It was way more space than I needed, but quite nice. I used the pool almost every evening and had it all to my self each time (I’m not that scary looking). As a Marrriott Bonvoy Titanium member I got the free breakfast at the BANK restaurant. It’s nice whenever you can get a hotel connected to the skyway like the Westin. CONS The staff at the BANK restaurant was pretty unengaged to the point that I basically poured my own drinks and got silverware while they just chatted amongst themselves. The bathroom (really the shower) in the suite was not as nice as the ones in more basic rooms. VERDICT A nice downtown hotel with all the normal features presented mostly in a professional and consistent way. I will be staying there again when I can get it for a good price.

Moxy as a brand is geared towards younger people, or people looking to have some fun. You check in at the bar and are given a welcome drink, and that pretty much sets the tone! Rooms tend to be small but cool looking with floor to ceiling windows. No in room coffee makers, fridge, etc. What really sets this Location apart not only from other Moxy's but also hotels in Minneapolis in general is they have patio and balcony rooms! The room i stayed in overlooked US Bank Stadium, so my guess is it'd be in high demand when football games come back! Another highlight is the location a block away from the riverfront. A definite plus plus during this time of wanting to stay outside. For food a couple of my favorite restaurants Zen Box, and Eastside are within walking, and Trader Joe's is right across the street.

We were in Minneapolis for my wife's surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospital on Friday, June 19th. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I was not allowed to be in the hospital with my wife before, during or after the surgery. Upon checking in the hotel on the afternoon before, I inquired about a hotel shuttle to the hospital the following morning. The shuttle was not available - but - Tony the person at the desk volunteered to come in early (on his own time) on Friday morning to take my wife to the hospital. He suggested that I go along and he'd bring me back to the Hampton Inn. This also minimized the risk of either of us contracting the virus. I cannot express my appreciation enough to Tony enough for taking the initiative on his own time to make this happen! Hampton Inn is so fortunate to have such an extraordinary employee as Tony!!

We were happily surprised by this hotel. We booked it to visit family and normally stay in downtown Minneapolis, but this location was going to be much more convenient, so we booked this. We were glad we did and will most likely book again when we go to the Minneapolis area. The lobby is large and has great seating areas. There is a bar that was quiet and a good place to relax. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good. We eat out a lot at good restaurants and appreciate high quality food and this ticked a lot of boxes for us. The room rate included the breakfast and we were glad it was at this restaurant each morning because it was delicious. We booked the presidential suite which had a huge sitting/living room area and separated bedroom. The suite had 1.5 baths. The furniture was comfortable. The only downside of the suite was that it was interior facing, so no natural light. I don’t know if they have more than one suite of this size and layout, but when staying again, I would find out and request an exterior one if they have it. The only other thing that was bothersome one night was that since it was interior and there was music playing in the lounge, we had to turn on a white noise app to drown out the music. That only occurred one night. I would suggest that the hotel be aware of the volume of the music. We had club access and the offerings were not a wide variety that you might expect for club level - non-alcoholic beverages, granola bars, and pretzels throughout the day, but the evening snacks were good - cheese, cured meats, vegetables, some small dessert items. As I said, we would stay again.

I am a business traveler that travels over 150 nights a year. I stay at all sorts of hotels and all levels. This hotel has caught my eye - super clean - well-appointed rooms - GREAT staff, just to mention a few. It is right next to the light rail line so you can us this central hub to go anywhere on the trains. A three-block walk and you will find LOTS of great restaurants - such a great location. Two employees stand head over heals of most hotels - Sarah is so good with customer relations and looks to make sure your stay is successful. Ethan (I think I spelled that right) is STELLAR - I had the trip from hell coming here and my lock on my suitcase jammed - He signal handly fixed it for me - This is a hidden gem - don't want to say too much because I think this hotel will be extremely difficult to book once we get out of COVID. THANK YOU ELEMENT for a job well done and making me feel welcome, appreciated, and providing some a comfortable place to stay.
