Downsides: - the bed and the floor of our room were not 100% clean; there were a few hairs, a little bit of dust and a few spots; nevertheless, it was acceptable for us, the dirt was quite little and overall, it all made a rather clean impression to anyone not very peaky - after we paid the city tax via the app, it did not show up to the reception; even the next day when we checked out, they were bringing it up although we had already showed them that we paid the day before and they were fine with it - something that may be annoying in all hostels in Berlin was that we had to fill in a lot of personal data and agree with covid rules like testing or vaccine mandate and mask-wearing on the floors; however, these rules were applied on a self-responsible basis in practice so we had no struggles with staff patronizing us - we had to fill in a lot of information twice, once digitally and once on paper; that combined with the reception hidden without signs in the yard made our arrival after an exhausting journey quite lengthy; however, the time it took us to get to the room was still acceptable - in the evening, there was supposed to be silence at 10pm; however, it took somewhat longer until a group of high school students stopped making noise; when I went to the reception a few minutes after 10pm, the reception was all busy and the receptionist did not seem to be happy to hear our complaint; he said he would take care of it soon but it took quite a while until it got quieter; in general, while the reception was not rude, it could have been a bit friendlier Upsides: - wifi and telivision were working well and included English-speaking CNN (although the German television was more interesting for us) - beautiful view into the yard with trees - a comparably low-budget offer for a twin room (about €55 for a hotel room with two beds stuck together) - a lot of good gastronomy and shops in the neighborhood - public transport nearby - generally good isolation; the accomondation was in good shape - the room was quite spacious for the price and had a comfortable bathroom with shampoo and soap fixated at the wall Summary: If you are a neat freak, can't stand any small noise, want only super friendly staff and do not like to fill out forms or formally agree with covid rules, it may be wise to stay away from this hostel. However, especially in comparison to what we could have had otherwise, our stay was quite enjoyable.

We were very excited to learn that Berlin had a full vegetarian hotel, and the hotel indeed lived up to our (high) expectations. Situated in the most exciting Berlin area (Friedrichshain), the hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a room on the garden side - it was very quiet, the room (airconditioned) was very clean, quite spacy and the bed was perfect. And a big plus for the yoga mats that are provided with the room. The breakfast (which is not cheap, but that's probably also because it's all biological) had also many vegan options to choose from, and mixed German with mediterranean dishes. They offer the option of a later check out and it was very nice that we could book this on the check out day itself when it turned out it was so hot that we prefered to stay inside in the airconditioned room. We can highly recommended the hotel and we will definitely return next time we visit Berlin and again chose for a hotel stay.

A little austere in all aspects, but otherwise a decent place to stay and right next to the entrance of an U-bahn station. Nothing could be more convenient for getting around the city. If you do need a car, the place has parking in the back.

New hotel very trendy and hipster fits in well with the City of Berlin. 6 stops on metro into Alexanderplatz in the Centre. Hotel had everything we needed for 3 night stay. Great Breakfast lots of healthy choices. Warm, compact bedroom with comfortable beds hugh tv and small area for clothes open space few coat hangers,ok for us for short stay. Bathroom towels & toiletries good and great powerful walk in shower, everything we needed. Very happy for the price we paid was excellent value. Hotel is built on top of a car park and access is by a commercial centre. Railway station close to hotel which was the only noise as our room looked out to the rail station. Staff young and willing a over all good experience ! Only reason not given the 5 stars as bedroom was very small & noise of trains

Sketch is located near the Warschauer station, which is handy as you can just hop on the S Bahn and get within 5 minutes to Alexander Platz and other well known sights. The property itself, is a little hiden but a sign at the entrance of building 54 shows the 2 entraces. I usually used the elevator, which is located at the 2nd couryard (left). Note that it is the last elevator in the couryard. As soon as I entered the elevator a feeling of excitement arouse. An atmosphere as in industrialized elevator hit me, all rough and iron (in a positive kind sense). As soon as you arrive to the 3rd floor (You press 2 in the elevator), you will need your code which opens you the main door and the door of your room. The rooms seemed very new (probably refurbished), mattresses are comfortable (not too hard and not too soft). Internet was stable and strong and the overall interior practical and nice! Overall, it has been an awesome experience that I will definitely repeat.

Without any special frills, this hotel offers clean rooms, efficient check in, good breakfast and has a decent restaurant. Parking is not easy but that's not the hotel's fault, in many areas in Berlin parking is a bit of challenge. The price I paid for a room including breakfast was more than fair. I would gladly return.

I left my luggage here in advance and it was not possible to check in at three in the afternoon. There was a vignette at check-in. The front desk gave us a room with someone and swiped the card. A man was lying on the bed. Fortunately, it was scary to wear clothes. Going to find her to solve the problem, it was she who made a mistake, but she was frightened and not very satisfied. The sanitary conditions are not very good, the transportation is very convenient, there are dm and rewe supermarkets nearby, and there is a large shopping mall near the train station.

The hotel is okay overall, in the Siemens town, next to the subway. Not too much service, some at the front desk are good, some are not smiling, but also charge extra for breakfast. Later, I will go to the exhibition and change places.

Location is awesome. It's almost like living in a park atmosphere. Lots of walking trails nearby, close to downtown and most of the major tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area. Public transit is readily available (bus stop right across the street, and several trams within short walking distance). Front desk staff were incredible throughout our 5-day stay there -- from check-in to check out. As we were in Germany to assist a family member, ours was more like a working holiday than a relaxing one and although our personal circumstances were seemingly constantly in flux, the staff were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful in adapting our reservations several times. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. There is a nice beer garden in the back where you can get an early start on ”the German experience”, but don't worry about all-night partying or closes around 9:00 p.m. so, even though we had a room right above it, the noise was never an issue. Rooms are well-soundproofed so getting a good night's sleep was never a problem either. I would give this place more stars if possible, primary due to the outstanding staff and service provided during our stay. This will definitely be our ”go-to” place whenever we are in Berlin.

The location is good, it is very convenient to go to various attractions, and you can walk or take public transportation. Shopping around is very convenient. Reception front desk and doorman service are very good and very polite. The hotel's decoration style is more ancient, and it doesn't matter if it is different from person to person. It is difficult to comment. What the individual doesn't like is the breakfast mode provided by the hotel. The buffet style on the table is only a small variety of bread, butter, cheese, sliced meat, a little fruit, a little juice and so on. Any omelet or egg, or sausage, or hot vegetables, must be ordered in a variety of language menus provided by a single door. Although the speed of serving after ordering is OK, the taste is average and even disappointing. The taste of the drink is average. The overall feeling of the hotel's breakfast quality is not worth the price it sells. In particular, if you are accustomed to eating a self-service rich breakfast, you may not be able to adapt to this breakfast mode.

The location of the hotel is very good, with a subway/tram station next to it, and convenient transportation. There are many shopping shops nearby, and it is not far from the Haak Market. It is very convenient to eat, drink and play. The room is large, there is a hidden induction cooker, and there are kitchen utensils in the cabinet, which is very suitable for friends who want to cook for themselves. I really like the washing and care products in the room. The soap is black, which is very special.

I am a guest of your's. I am very happy here. I sing highly of your service. First of all, the hotel is so beautiful. It looks like a garden. I enjoy it. Then, foods are delicious and some of them are amazing. Most important reason is that the bed is so big and soft that I don't want to get up every morning. It's wonderful here. I can't believe it that I must leave. I want to live here again if I come to this city again.Thank you.Sincerely yours a guest.

We always tend to stay here when in Berlin as the location is perfect for the gay area. Hotel staff are very friendly & accommodating. Room was warm & comfy but some of the furnishings are looking a little outdated now. Cleaner didn’t automatically come every day which was disappointing - no doubt another ridiculous Covid19 rule. The fridges with minibar seem to have been removed from the room which is a little annoying - shall we blame covid19 for that too?! The hotel also expects you to wear face masks which is a bit unnecessary as you can walk round any bar, restaurant, or shopping centre now without the need for a mask. I don’t blame the staff In the hotel for this rule but the company needs to get a grip & realise that most travellers are fully vaccinated now. How else could we have got to Germany in the first place? Having said that, we would stay here again as overall the facilities & location are good.

The twin room of this hotel is equipped with three beds. This situation is rare in China and is more suitable for family and children. The second is that the area that needs improvement is a pot that does not have hot water. But the front desk helped me burn a cup, thank you!

I have seen many hotels in Berlin and this one is by far the cleanest/most hygenic one! Especially now during Corona times, they literally send their cleaning team to sanitize door handles etc. every hour and they have a full no-contact check-in and check-out system that works by a telephone service that is always there for you. The cozy rooms and excellent location at Rosethaler Platz makes the stay just perfect. A secret tip: ask for one of their ”signature rooms”, created by local Berlin artists (no additional costs charged). Definitely a recommendation for everyone!

Stayed in a Junior Suite. Room was large and extremely clean. Two large doors to let lots of air in. Only thing that disappointed me was it says its a room with a balcony however there is no actual outside space, the doors open and there is a bar directly at the doors and only one chair in the room so no way for us both to sit there. Bed was so comfortable and great pillows! The blue nightlight option was beautiful. Bathroom was fab! Shower was amazing, didn't want to get out!! Floor in the bathroom is heated. Wi-fi is decent but keeps signing you out so don't lose the piece of paper with your codes on it. Cleaners were fantastic, changed our towels & bed daily and fresh glasses & cups. Ate one night in the restaurant on the rooftop and the food was beautiful. Then sat on the rooftop lounge outside with a drink and the view and lights were beautiful. Location is great... Two underground stations both within a 2 minute walk. I would recommend to get a welcome card if travelling a lot as it covers underground, trains and busses. We would have spent 3 times the amount we paid for the 4 day card and also covers from airport if you buy zones a,b&c Staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Would have given 5 stars if I had of known in advance there was no actual balcony but was one of the main reasons I booked as my partner doesn't drink and our plan was to sit out there at night where I could enjoy a few glasses and he doesn't have to be in a bar. But overall had a lovely stay. My pictures don't do the room justice but just to give an idea.

The location of this hotel is good. There are two Chinese restaurants nearby. Go right and turn left. The first owner of the restaurant called Green Restaurant is more enthusiastic. The front one seems to be Cantonese. KADEWE Shopping The mall is about 10 minutes walk away; it needs to be emphasized: the hotel room is small, Wifi can only connect one device at a time, the speed is normal, the room just entered the moldy smell, originally wanted to change the room, the next day tastes slightly Better; convenient transportation, a few hundred meters in the vicinity is U BUS station or 100/200 station; next time it is estimated that this hotel will not live, because of the taste of the room, wifi, and cost. If there is no special requirement for taste and WiFi, this location hotel is worth considering.

Good location, small rooms but basic facilities and clean. It is convenient to travel, there are many attractions around, and the airport is about 26 Euros. The room booked did not include breakfast, but there was a buffet on the first floor, 12 euros for one person. To experience the local breakfast in Berlin, we chose to go out and have breakfast in the bakery. The hotel helps to make a reservation for a taxi and needs to pay for the service. The actual taxi at the entrance of the hotel is not difficult to call. When leaving the hotel, it is a black taxi. It feels like being bypassed.

A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

The service staff is very enthusiastic. Very clean. The hotel room is small but already prepared. The soundproofing is too bad, the movements in the hallway are clear and clear, and the walls of other rooms will be vibrated. I was scared at night. The mattress didn't seem to breathe, and it was very hot to sleep on, and didn't sleep well at night. Air conditioning is either too cold or too hot to master. I felt that the price was good before I checked in, but I really didn't rest well.

We spent 3 days at Gorki last week, slightly early Valentine’s trip. We love it as it’s just easy here, spacious apartment, clean, modern, great location and in one of the best cities in world! We cooked one day and ate out the rest of the time. With so many bars and restaurants within walking distance, you are spoilt for choice! Regarding the review below, not sure what that’s about, we’ve never had any issues, hence our third visit and not our last. Also, we just loaded the dishwasher ourself, we didn’t need the room attendant to do it! Love the personal service too, when we booked our visit, Constance messaged me the list of rooms to choose from, from the category we had booked. This was great as each apartment is different, no 2 are exactly the same. We are working our away across the different categories :) We asked for a late check out and were told it was €50, we declined that, but we were able to stay in the room until 1pm. We’ll be back in the summer, see you then!

Before I comment the hotel, I would really like to mention the Receptionist Mo!! He was at the check in when I got there, and immediately saw his positive energy and vibe and at the same time professionalism, which is very important as it’s the first impression when you step in the hotel. He also speaks couple of foreign languages such as Russian, English, Italian, German... I am working as a GM of Korcula Hill Resort in Croatia, and I have to say that every hotel should have at least one Mo!!! Very smart and polite guy, and really hope he will be soon upgraded to a higher position in the company as I’m sure he’s capable of managing more complexed stuff, situations and business decisions. Amazing guy!! Also, another young receptionist Ane, I loved talking to her on Spanish and we laughed a lot during my stay. Very cool persona and her English, is just brilliant with nice accent! As A Moxy lover, I have to say that this Hotel, again, was very modern, cool, funky, colors and decoration everywhere, the Vespa at the entrance... Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the view not bad at all. Water pressure in the shower was perfect! Breakfast was good too. The location is great, only 300m to the S Bahn/U Bahn lines, very good connection with the city and Tegel Airport. I believe the Gym is great as well, it must be a stunning view at the area around the hotel... If you want a 5 star service and you don’t want to pay the fortune for it, book immediately this hotel!

Trafficwise the hotel is a gem. Berlin was for me always a great city with lots of public transport issues. Even if you are located right next to a subway or S-Bahnhof it could take you hours to get somewhere else in the city. However here, you can just walk to the Hbf with ICE connection and go everywhere in the city within 45min. Everything else just fine. Typical motel one. Breakfast could be a little richer.

The bright lights were the two very friendly guys, one slim German (?) at the reception, another bearded German (?) in the bar/restaurant area. The rest (mostly Spanish teenagers it seems) were obnoxious, pulling the plates from under your nose while you are still eating, walking around with a sour face like they own the place (and you should get out of their way). The arrogance we encountered upon our arrival and throughout our stay from the young ladies at the reception was revolting; putting this kind of people at the desk is a fail. Especially because I had to get at least ten times to the reception to activate the cards of our three rooms. They said it was because of proximity to our cell phones, but at least three times our phones were in the (locked) room …. Also one safe was blocked (battery dead, happens, but again making us face those ladies’ utter arrogance). We had three rooms. The cleaning people entered each room while we were still in bed (around 9am each time), in spite of the marker … they tried on other mornings but the door was closed, still quite unnerving to hear someone attempting to get in. Also some older women came to check out the service, just walking in asking if everything is ok… fawlty towers if you are old enough. Our rooms didn’t get cleaned every day, which you simply expect in a 4*, forcing us at some point to go and face the ladies at the reception to beg for towels, because they don’t pick up the phone. We got a commercial geste but rather had had a smooth stay without having to get things fixed or face unfriendliness all the time. I stayed in Melia hotels and this does not live up the chain’s standard. As you will see from my other reviews, I am a positive and constructive traveler. Positive points: location close to the metro; the gin and tonic; the breakfast buffet was very fine, managed by the friendly bearded guy; the slim guy at the reception desk helping us out. They lifted the place up (where the others seriously pulled it down, unfortunately).
