My husband and I stayed one night here while in the area for business. We are diamond members and often stay at Hampton Inns or Hilton properties and always have pleasant stays. When breakfast is included it is a bonus we enjoy, but don’t always take part in. We arrived late on a Friday evening and were pleasantly greeted and offered our waters as diamond members. We went to our room and were ready for bed being near midnight as my husband had an early morning appointment to keep. I planned on enjoying breakfast and reading until he was done before noon. We turned back the bedding and found the sheets and all pillow cases appeared dirty. When looking closer, it seemed they all had a blue ink or dye on them. Since it was already quite late and the desk clerk (who appeared very busy) had told a gentleman ahead of us checking in that she was alone for the evening (phone was ringing and she was trying to check both of us in and answer the calls) we decided that we would have to sleep with what we had. With all of the bedding the same way it didn’t seem likely that a new set would be any different and we needed to get to sleep. In the morning my husband left for his meeting early while I went down for breakfast around 8:30. There were a few people in the dining area but it was not busy. I went for coffee and unfortunately both light roast and dark roast were empty, leaving only the decaffeinated... not my choice. I walked into the dining area and there was an older couple who asked me if I found coffee, and I relayed only decaf and his response was - that’s not coffee. He had been waiting some time for pots to be filled. I found a worker and let her know. Her response was short and not very grateful. At about the same time a gentleman told her the pancake batter was out and that he thought the gravy wasn’t warm enough - only room temperature. He also relayed the sausage links were gone. I decided to try oatmeal... it was very watery and either not cooked fully or had too much liquid added when made. About 20 minutes later a woman from the desk came into the area with the coffee pots and went to the food prep area, mumbling something about someone being sick. She went in and appeared to start the coffee, then came out and explained to everyone her regular food person was sick and she is starting to get sick and doesn’t want to touch food... I appreciate sick people not coming to work to spread germs but telling us all her problems? We all work in areas and deal with others’ sickness and people missing work and have to cover duties or find someone else to help. I also don’t want to hear the complaining and excuses when I am the customer and I am paying for the services. About one hour later, the coffee pots were filled with hot coffee and there was waffle batter, while the same gentleman was telling everyone that came in to stay away from the gravy because it was not warm, and the oatmeal was still runny. The desk clerk came back and said thank yo

My husband and I have stayed at Woodspring Suites for several months because of an unfortunate housing situation. This has been a wonderful place to be during this situation. It is nice to have all bills taken care of in one weekly installment. Rent, cable and heating/air/electric are all included which is nice if you are planning an extended stay. If you are looking for just a nightly stay it is great as well as the hotel is brand new, the rooms are large, clean and have full kitchens with a big fridge. Perfect place for a low price, clean and friendly hotel experience.

Overall satisfactory, very quiet! The only regret is that there are fewer restaurants next to the hotel, only one can choose, the taste is average! (The last time I went there was heavy snow, I was afraid I couldn’t find the car the next day.)

Well not exactly a true hotel rating but the service merits a 5-star distinction. Bonvoy Elite status certainly goes along way at this property, especially for Titanium members. The suite upgrade was nice. Frankly, I was more impressed with the very large bathroom, lighted mirrors and water closet. Comfortable bed! They definitely did their research prior to my check-in, my Bonvoy profile amenities were all ready. A+ there! Michael at the front desk was very accommodating. He helped arrange the complimentary shuttle service to all my meetings. Tico, the shuttle driver was awesome. And people, please be sure to tip these drivers; don’t be a cheapo. Yea, it’s complimentary but any gratuity is a nice gesture, especially if you have them drive you to Portillos. For you Chicagoans, the fact that they have a Portillo’s nearby is another A+ on location alone. And, Regina, at the Red Rock restaurant deserves some recognition; thanks for the complimentary cup of coffee! This hotel truly knows hospitality and customer service. Finally, the club lounge is awesome. Staff was very hospitable. Food was great! It’s no R-I-T-Z Carlton club lounge, but it’s not bad at all. The fireplace is nice touch for those cold Minnesota nights. I definitely plan on coming back!

A total of 4 people was in my party/two couples in need of 2 rooms, traveling from WI to MN. While enroute to MN, I received a call directly from the hotel earlier than expected to inform me that my room was ready and I could check in earlier if needed (which I did need to do). We were greeted warmly by the deskworker. My room was very clean and it smelled fresh. The room was equipped for the 'extended stay' with a sink, big economical fridg, and mircowave; all in working condition. The bathroom was nice and clean. I was in room 210. The other couple was in room 213; the negative for their experience was that the bathroom vent was so noisy; sounded like an airplane was ready to take off. Overall, my stay was a 5star!

There are a couple things to mention.. 1 was the swimming pool was closed, i did not see anywhere that it was closed prior to booking and there were families there dissapointed as well bc They were all geared up for the pool with the little ones. Another thing is there are NO Microwaves in the rooms... That was a big issue as we had left overs we couldn't enjoy and they do not offer breakfast. Last thing, the parking ramp is TINY & under construction so more than half of it couldn't be used. Other than those 3 things This was a great fun trip.. I had a blast. I would rent again.. I found out pool opens in end of August

Breakfast is ok. Hotel location is good, there is light rail from the airport to the station of NICOLLET MALL, get off for five or six minutes. There are shopping malls, pharmacies, and TARGET supermarkets about 5-8 minutes walk from nearby. There are many restaurants around, very convenient. There is a parking lot.

The location is very good, just 300 meters away from the exhibition center, the city center is out, there are mall and target nearby, and the clothing and daily necessities are tax-free, so surprised. The hotel lobby is very tall, the parking lot is in the basement, and the elevator is directly to the hotel lobby, which is very convenient, but the hotel parking fee is 14 dollars a night. The overall experience is good, share it with everyone, foreign hotels will be particularly expensive on weekends or when there are many people. This is a bit unacceptable. The price of the first night is especially expensive, twice the third night, so I suggest you choose a good time. Oh, try to avoid weekends and busy time.

Days Hotel is a chain of express hotels, the hotel service is good, check-in and check-out is very convenient, the toilet is not available during the stay, the service staff can handle in time, the attitude is very good. Breakfast is also good, but the types are basically fixed. There are different facilities such as cold drink machine and ice machine on different floors. This is different from domestic ones. The hotel is affordable and suitable for long stays. It is close to the University of Minnesota, about 10 minutes away, and the light rail is also very convenient. It is also convenient to the downtown, Minnesota-St. Paul Airport.

The Westin is inside an old bank and along with the bank vault turned into a wine cellar comes that old bank smell that is both musty but nostalgic. I stay in downtown Minneapolis every month over the last 5 years so I’ve stayed almost everywhere and the Westin has been one of my preferred venues. PROS I was upgraded to one of the suites on the same floor as the fitness center and swimming pool. It was way more space than I needed, but quite nice. I used the pool almost every evening and had it all to my self each time (I’m not that scary looking). As a Marrriott Bonvoy Titanium member I got the free breakfast at the BANK restaurant. It’s nice whenever you can get a hotel connected to the skyway like the Westin. CONS The staff at the BANK restaurant was pretty unengaged to the point that I basically poured my own drinks and got silverware while they just chatted amongst themselves. The bathroom (really the shower) in the suite was not as nice as the ones in more basic rooms. VERDICT A nice downtown hotel with all the normal features presented mostly in a professional and consistent way. I will be staying there again when I can get it for a good price.

My fiancé and I checked into this gorgeous hotel the day after it reopened in July 2020. This hotel lobby is STUNNING. You are surrounded by lush green plants, beautiful marble and glass tile, and cozy places to sit left and right. We were blown away at how pretty it was. We enjoyed learning that this property used to be a bank that was converted to a hotel (you can even see the old bank vaults still installed in a few places in the lobby). It is conveniently located to public transport and in a very walkable location. We were able to walk to the river to sightsee, walk to Target, walk to restaurants and more. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly at the front desk, given an upgraded room (without even asking for it) and chatted with Tobias, the General Manager, as we learned about the hotels history & reopening. He, and the staff, clearly take a lot of pride in their hotel, it's history, and the work they do to make it a warm and friendly place to stay. Given the pandemic and how topsy-turvy the world is right now, we had concerns traveling and staying in a hotel away from home. These concerns were immediately squashed as we saw how immaculate the hotel and our room was. Extra precautions were put into place, including limiting the cleaning staff from entering the room every day. I can not say enough about how beautiful this hotel is and how friendly the staff was. When we were there the coffee bar & restaurant hadn't re-opened yet. I am looking forward to staying in this property again and enjoying what is sure to be incredible food, in a gorgeous setting. Thanks Tobias and staff for setting our minds at ease by providing such a beautiful and clean hotel for our stay.

I was here for business and this was the hotel that was chosen for me by my hosts. I'm glad they did. The room is very nice and comfortable. The decor is pleasing and tasteful. They do a great job utilizing the space so it doesn't feel cramped yet gives options for relaxing. The fitness center is well enough appointed and offers towels and complimentary bottles of water. The staff has been amazing. They are attentive and friendly. They never walk past anyone or let anyone walk past without some form of greeting. The second morning in the restaurant, the waiter knew our order from the day before. The location is excellent in relation to the rest of downtown and any place you would need to go. My only quibble would the prices for the extras are a touch high. I know hotel snacks are never a bargain, but these are high enough that it was worth the trouble to go out and get some elsewhere. The price for breakfast in the restaurant is on the high side, though the food is excellent and served with a very generous portion. All in all an excellent choice as a place to stay in downtown Minneapolis.
